Jessica screamed, "MICHAEL," and jumped into his arms. "Michael what are you doing here? Oh my god." She heard someone clear their throat. She looked over Michael's shoulder. She let go of Michael and went behind, "Oh my god Polly you too?!" From their sister screaming, Joe, Travis, and Mike looked over the couch to see Michael and Polly standing there. They jumped up and fixed themselves. They walked towards the front door. Their sister might be happy to see Michael, but the last time they saw her she was heartbroken and he had broken up with her. "Come in come in," Jess ushered them into Travis's home. Michael carried in his and his mother suitcases and put them down. "Guys this is Polly, Polly these are my brothers, Joe, Mike, and Travis and this is Travis's wife Marie." Polly nodded at them all. Marie instantly hugged Polly shocking her and remembering the first time she had met Jess. Marie too apologized, "I'm sorry I feel like I know you already. Jessica has spoken so much about you."

Jessica's face had a permanent smile on it since she opened the door. Michael put his hand out to shake all the brother's hands. Each shake got harder and harder. Shaking Travis's hand last. "Travis," Michael stuck his hand out. Travis spoke, "Michael good to see you." He stuck his hand out and gave Michael a strong hand shake looking him in the eye. Michael knew coming Jess's brothers wouldn't be happy to see him and he needed to fix things with them as well. He forced an award smile. Jess screeched, "This is so amazing. The most important people in my life all together. The most important men in my life and who I love so much all together." She pushed her hands together with a huge grin. Joe grabbed his forehand, "Jess please I'm begging you, stop screaming you're giving me a headache." She stuck her tongue out at him, "I swear you guys are the worst." Marie hit Joe in the shoulder, "Stop it, she's excited." Jess took Polly and Michael on a tour of the house. Travis stood in the same spot looking up the steps his sister just went. Marie walked up and put a hand on his shoulder, "Babe why are you so tense." Marie looked at where Travis's eyes were. "You need to be less angry with him. It was a mistake he made and he paid for it when he went to find your sister at the boat dock. You need to remember she's happy and your dad said they are in a much better place." Travis broke his gaze and looked at Marie, "I know you're right. No one makes my baby sister upset, thats all. Let's go up and show them to their rooms." Marie nodded and walked towards the stairs.

Jessica was walking Michael and Polly throughout the upstairs. After she showed them every room, she would just light up and tell them "I can't believe you're here, I am so happy." They walked into one guest room. The windows opened up to a balcony in which you could see the whole city. Polly was stunned. "Polly this will be the room you can stay in." Polly was in awe. The room was stunning. Everything in the room complimented each other. Jess guided Polly to the bathroom she would be using. The bath tub sat centered in a window and was huge. She took her finger and ran it across the porcelain. They started to walk towards Jess's room. Travis did have a room for his sister when she came to visit. "And this is my room. And I figured Michael, you can just stay here." Michael had a huge smile on his face. "NO NO NO. You and Michael will not be sharing a room." Jess spun around to see Travis and Marie in the door frame. "Travis are you kidding me? Even dad lets us sleep in the same room when we are at our house. How are you going to say no to this. Marie please." "Don't get Marie involved," Travis countered back. Marie could see this escalating. She has seen all the siblings fight before and the worst were between Jess and Travis; Travis tries to act like their father towards Jess when their dad isn't around and Jess hates it. Marie stepped in between seeing as Jess and Travis were about to go toe to toe. "Listen Michael, put your bags in here for now." Travis went to speak but Marie cut him off, "We can figure out the sleeping arrangements later. It's time to go see your dad anyways. I am sure he will be excited to see Polly and Michael here." Travis shook his head, and Jess spoke, "Well I will be getting my guest settled. I'll meet you all at the hospital." Jess turned and walked into the room and Travis towards his. Leaving Marie and Michael standing there. "Listen, things will get better once their dad knows you're here. He has a soft spot for you." Michael nodded. "He has a right to be mad at me. I upset his sister I get it." They heard Jess yell for Michael to come help her unpack him and they went seperate ways.

At the hospital, Janik was so excited to see Polly and Michael. He knew his daughter had been hurting being away from them for so long and thought this was exactly what she needed. But then Marie informed him of the argument between Jess and Travis and how Travis had been acting towards Michael. Janik handed Jess some money and told her to take Marie and Polly shopping. He wanted some alone time with the men; help Michael out a little with his sons. Jess was skeptical about leaving, but Michael kept reassuring her he would be fine. Janik pulled up a chair to the table and started to pass out some playing cards. "How was your trip Michael? I was so happy to get that call from you that you and Polly would be willing to come here." Travis spoke up, "You knew they were coming dad?" Janik chuckled, "I called them. Listen you haven't lived with your sister for a while. When she's moping around, the only thing to help her is this man right here," Janik nodded towards Michael. Michael said, "It was a very smooth trip. My mom has never been here, so she was going through a magazine of all the places she's hoping to be able to see." Janik flipped a card over and looked up, "And your sleeping arrangements at the house are good? You're going to stay in Jessica's room right?" Travis cut off their father, "DAD!" he yelled. "How can you be ok with them sleeping together?" and he turned to his brothers, "How have neither one of you said shit about this." Janik put his hand up, "Son listen to me. I know you're upset with him because of the last time your sister was here, but he took 3. I repeat 3 bullets to his chest and shoulder while going to make things right with your sister. Do you understand me?" Travis looked down at his hands. Michael finally spoke, "I messed up with your sister. I was insecure and I let some loser convince me I wasn't good enough for her. I love her and when we get back to Birmingham with all of your permission, I would like to propose to her. I want to make her my wife, but I want you all to be ok with it." Janik didn't even take a breath before responding to that statement. "I can't wait to officially call you one of my sons," Janik said putting his hand on Michael's shoulder. Joe and Mike laughed, "Hey we have always hoped you would end up with our sister," Mike spoke and then Joe, "Yea god bless you handling that raging bitch. She's scary, but you want that for the rest of your life and we glad it's you." All eyes were on Travis waiting for his approval. Travis took a sip of his vodka, "Well, Marie likes to remind me over and over again that I did something similar to her so I cannot hold anything against you. I just love my little sister and hate to see her hurt. I have to realize though that you're the one person who has changed her. So yes, I give my approval." Janik reached into his pocket and pulled out cigars. "Let's celebrate!" All Swavorski son's looked at their father like he was crazy. "Dad," Joe chastised, "You just are getting over a heart attack. Really cigars?" Janik stuck up his middle finger, "When you get to my age you can do whatever you want. Shut up and let's celebrate." They all shook their heads and laughed. Cigars were passed around and cards were being flipped.

Meanwhile, Marie and Polly were worn out. Jess must have taken them into every store on 5th avenue. They didn't realize how she still had money to shop or the stamina to continue. Marie and Polly had been sitting on some chairs near the dressing room while Jess had a rack of clothes brought in. A store worker handed them a glass of champagne. "Here you go Ms. Swavorski," the girl spoke. "Thank you," Marie smiled and took a sip. "So this is what it's like living in New York. People just hand you glasses of champagne when you shop," Polly asked raising an eyebrow. Marie responded, "No, this is how you live life in New York when you have the last name Swavorski." "Really?" Polly questioned. Marie nodded her head, "From what I understand your family has a presence in Birmingham that everyone knows you. It's the same here. Janik has a huge Polish community who he has found jobs for. He has made smart business deals. He has really made a good name for himself here. These people would do anything for this family. And Travis and her brothers have kept that legacy alive." Jessica walked out in a dress. "What do you think?" Marie rolled her eyes, "Jess don't you want to be done shopping?" Jess mumbled under her breath and walked back in the room. Polly asked, "How did you get involved in this family?" "I've known them my whole life. Our moms were best friends. I've been in love with Travis since we were 10," she laughed. "My father's a business man, but we try not to get business and family involved." Polly nodded, "Travis is not a fan of my son I see." Marie took another sip of champagne, "It's funny because Travis is actually the biggest fan of Michael. I am sure you're aware Michael bought Jess a ring. Travis was very much for it. He just is very protective over her. I have to remind him that our relationship wasn't perfect and neither will Jessica's and Michaels." Jessica walked out of the dressing room ready to go.
