She sat at her vanity in her bedroom. Taking the brush with blush and pressing it against her cheek. She turned around hearing the door open. She smiled seeing her father dressed in a suit. Janik smiled sadly. Jessica confused, "Whats wrong daddy?" Janik looked at his daughter admiring her beauty. She reminded him of her mother who at times like this Janik found himself missing greatly. "In a few weeks you'll be leaving me in this place. Moving in with Michael . You're just growing up too fast for your old man." A tear slid down his cheek. Jessica got up and walked towards her father bear hugging him. She whispered, "This will always be my home daddy." She kissed his cheek and went back to her spot at her vanity. "Besides," she smirked looking back, "Daddy, Michael and I will be visiting a lot. Me probably everyday and then you'll be telling me to leave you alone," she stuck her tongue out and continued putting on her makeup. Janik chuckled, "My love everyone will be here in 20 minutes so please make sure you are ready. This night is important remember. The night where our families will finally meet." She nodded her head and looked into the mirror to her father, "I'll be down soon." Janik nodded his head and closed her door and walked out. Tonight would be the night both the Shelby's and Swavorski's would be meeting for the first time before the wedding. Michael and Jessica's wedding was 2 weeks away and it was important for her brothers and uncles and cousins to meet the family. She heard a car pull up outside of the estate and her Mae shout, "Miss Jessica, Mr. Michael and family are here." Butterflies, big butterflies started floating around in her stomach.

Michael stepped out of the car and readjusted his suit. He had a smile plastered to his face that hadn't gone away since the moment Jessica said yes...

"Jessica will you marry me? ..." The room got silent. She couldn't believe the sight in front of her. Michael down on one knee with a ring in his hand with the most important people in their lives in the room. She couldn't speak, she couldn't breath. Her future was right in front of her down on one knee and there was only one answer she had. Through the tears streaming down her face she was able to croak out, "Yes." Michael jumped up in joy. "Yes?" he questioned. She nodded her head vigorously. He grabbed her face and kissed her passionately. The room erupted in cheers. Arthur and John whistling and cheering. Polly ran over hugging them both. She too crying of happiness. Janik grabbed his daughter and hugged her so tight as if it was the last time he'd hug her. "I am so happy for you," he whispered into her ear. Tommy cleared his throat. They all turned to look at him. He stood up with a glass of champagne in his hand. "I just wanted to say a few words." The group quieted down. "When Michael told me he was going to buy Jessica a ring in New York, I told him to make sure it was a ring good enough for her. Not some shabby thing because Jess is worth more than that." A smile formed on her face. Jessica and Tommy had a very low key friendship that not many knew helped take care of many projects while she had been in New York with Janik when he was sick. He trusted her and she trusted him. "I've never been more happy to finally and officially become family with the Swavorski's." He nodded towards Janik and his son. He raised his glass, "Lets plan a wedding," he declared.

Arthur jumped out of the car. Looking over at Michael, he couldn't help but notice his smile. "Michael you look like a big dope. You haven't stopped smiling since that girl said yes to marrying." John came up behind them grabbing on to their shoulders. "I would be smiling too if I was marrying Jessica Swavorski." Polly walked up and smacked John in the back of the head. "Keep your eyes for your wives and off my daughter in laws," she smirked and pushed through them to the front door. Mae opened the door, "Ms. Polly good evening," Polly had become a regular at the house. Polly kissed Mae's cheek, "Hello Mae." Polly and Mae had become friendly with Mae having a son the same age as Michael. "Michael, Arthur, John, Mr. Tommy," Mae continued saying the names of the people who had become part of the family over the year.

They all walked into the foyer taking off their jackets. Mae shouted up, "Miss Jessica, Mr. Michael and family are here." Janik came in view with Travis, Joe, and Mike. Janik began introducing Joe and Mike as Travis had been working with them for the past month. Travis and and John became friends quickly. Michael looked up as he heard a door close. Jessica began walking down the stairs. Everyone got quiet as they looked at the stairs. Jessica's hair was down with curls and a beautiful diamond clip pinning some hair back. She a wore a floor length emerald green dress. A beautiful diamond necklace lay on her neck and a diamond bracelet matching. A smile appeared on her face as she walked towards Michael. He looked at her left hand seeing the ring he placed on her hand. His smile grew bigger. She stepped off the last step and threw her arms around his neck. "Hi fiancé," as she pecked his lips. She walked towards her family and began introducing everyone to each other. They moved towards the banquet room in the house and the bar was open with a bartender. Everybody got drinks and moved towards the table where their name tags were. Glasses of champagne cluttered all around the table. Everyone sat down and Jess stayed standing. Jess loved public speaking. At a young age Janik saw the way Jess spoke. She commanded the room. Smiling looking around the room she then began to speak. "The very most important people in my life are all in this room right now. I cant stop smiling just seeing everyone." Looking down at Michael next to he grabbed her hand. "And for the reason why we are all here, Michael and i being married in 2 weeks." Loud cheers could be heard around the room. Jess looking at Michael in the eyes, "I love you Michael and I cant wait to marry you," she looks up at the table, "and I love you all and I am so happy to have you here for this." They cheered and ate dinner.

Jessica, Joe, Michael, Finn, and Isaiah were out back drinking when dinner was over. Joe took a big gulp and asked, "Jess did dad tell you he invited Jack Sax?" Jess groaned, "No. Is he serious? Why would dad do that." Michael, Finn, and Isaiah sat there not sure what was going on. Joe replied, "You know dad is good friends with the Saxs. I think maybe he thought you two were on good terms." Jess cut him off, "He's a total dooshbag. He's so full of himself," rolling her eyes. Michael spoke up first and waved. "Anyone want to tell the people over here who have no idea whats going whats going on," he chuckled as Finn and Isaiah nodded. Joe apologized, "So my dad is friends with the Saxs family and they have a son Jess's age. He always would try to get with her when she comes home to New York and when she denies him he acts like a dooshbag for the day always." Jess and Joe moved away from the group a little. Joe moved closer. "Jess, Leo is coming to the wedding too." Her demeanor changed. "Are you sure he's coming? I didn't check the list. Why would he come?" The last part was more sad than anything. Michael noticing the two siblings moved away he went closer and heard the conversation. Who was Leo?
