Kai: With all these new characters, how will everyone keep up?
Luna: Don't worry, Action has learned with each arc he has to have a list of the characters that are set to have a known appearance.

~Kai's~
I could never imagine three days would fly by with a snap. I'm still adjusting to the dorm and my new roommate. From first impressions, he's really chill, but he always seems to be in his own world. I also haven't seen his room, not like he's seen mine either but I believe you can tell a lot from a pokemon through their room. Mine honestly is a bit plain, I have plastered some flames across the walls and have some famous pokemon posters like Tyler, Volcan, Steven, Cynthia, and Alain. I then have my moldable steel on my desk, if I heat up my hands and I can mold it into whatever. It helps with stress. I also have a photo of my sister and me on there too. Beside my desk is my heat rock; I've slept on it more than my bed. On my dresser are a flatscreen and my game consoles. I then made my way to my closet and peeked in there where I kept my stats and smiled.
"Hey, Kai" Nexus's voice came through the door and I shut my closet instantly. "Are ready? I'd like to go to school together" Nexus was waiting outside my room. As kind as he is, his voice by default makes me jump with how deep it is.
"Be out in a second" I responded and grabbed my bag. When I stepped out of the room, Nexus was on the arm of the couch eating something. Before closing my door I looked in the mirror and smiled
"Ready?" He asked, his voice muffled.
"Yeah," I nodded with a cheery grin. We made our way out in the hall and to the elevator and from what it looked like he was eating pocky. I chuckle to myself as it's seven in the morning and that's his snack choice. We then got inside the elevator and soon found ourselves outside walking to the school.
"Do you want one?" He asked slouching forward while doing so. I have no reason to reject his kindness.
"Sure" I took the stick and put it in my mouth. I was surprised it was my favorite flavor, chocolate dipped in tomato berry sauce. It's an unpopular flavor since it's spicy but it's my favorite. "How'd you get this, this is my favorite flavor?!" My blank expression changed to one of shock. Nexus then chuckled.
"I had them sent here with me from Kalos, a childhood friend introduced me to it" he ate another stick.
"Well whoever they are, has good taste" I retorted.
"What has you so excited, this early in the morning?" I jumped at Pollon's calm voice. I then realized I was excited and calmed down a bit. "No need to calm down for my sake, it's good to see you show another emotion besides being lost in thought and depressing comments" Pollon giggled as she joined us on our way to school.
"Nexus, this is a good friend of mine, Pollon. Pollon, this is my roommate Nexus" I introduce them properly.
"Nice to officially meet you" Nexus tried his best to smile with food in his mouth.
"Likewise" Pollon retorted flatly and I was confused.
"Do you two know each other?" I asked. Before anyone responded Nexus offered me another stick and I took it.
"He asked Nix and me for a tour of the school the other day" I nodded at Pollon's response. After a little more surface-level conversation we made it to the school and split up. Nexus and I headed to the elite classroom which was located on the fourth floor. I didn't see any way to access the fourth floor or that we had one when we first arrived. Nexus pulled up his Orb screen and looked at the email we elites received from Lumino.
"To access the fourth floor, there is a hidden elevator by my office and it will scan your Orb and grant you access to your classroom" Nexus read aloud.
"Let's get going, we have ten minutes before class starts" I sprinted to the third floor and Nexus was chasing not far behind. I laughed a bit as he indulged the energy I had this morning. With the elevator in my sights, I would win until I felt a tap on my shoulder. " I win," he whispered in my ear and then tapped the button. We then entered and we were both panting.
"Dang, I never lose" I whined a bit. Nexus let out a little chuckle at my reaction. "What?" I asked.
"You remind me of my friend I mentioned earlier" he smiled.
"I'm not sure if that's good or bad so I'll take it with a grain of salt" I faced the other way with light annoyance. We both then recompose ourselves as we feel the elevator stopped moving. When we walked out I was amazed by our classroom. Pristine tiled floor, a fresh set of twenty desks. Around the edge of the room were tables with scientific instruments I could never understand. Flowers aligned the edges of the room and then we were inside a dome and could see everything from where we were. The stadium, the courtyard, and even the school entrance.
"This is awesome" I heard Nexus. Though we were so caught up in the view that we forgot some of our classmates were in the room. I noticed a Nidoking who was having a lively conversation with a familiar Pyroar. Looking across the room I saw an Arcanine with his face down on his desk while the Gogoat from yesterday was trying to tell him something. There were other pokemon roaming the classroom and chatting but that makes me a bit uncomfortable so I decided to sit down in the back corner. I then decided to soak in the scenery that our classroom provides. Surprisingly it's not hot in here even with all the glass and it is August. They must have the AC blowing. I then heard someone drop their stuff by me. I looked up and Nexus decided to sit next to me.
"I know we're roommates but you don't always have to be with me" I tried my best to not sound like an ass. His face then morphed through a few emotions before he gave a response.
"I assumed since we are living together it would be nice to get to know each other and spend time together as friends" he gave me a slight smile and it was contagious. Though as quickly as my smile formed it left.
"Yeah, sure, whatever" I changed my gaze from him to the outside. We all then hear a door open and then close which is surprising since I thought the only way in is an elevator. We all see an Eevee with a lab coat walk to the front of the room. He looked rather young to be a teacher like he just finished school.
(Ideal And Real - P5R)A/N: Milo's Theme
"Please, everyone be seated" his voice was calm and calculated. I find him interesting. Everyone obeyed his command and all twenty students including me sat down. "I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Michael Tailside, a pokemon scientist who studies the types as well as pokemon's capabilities. Please call me Tailside of professor Tailside" he gave his opening splurge. Some of the students were murmuring about him, both positive and negative. I then noticed Nexus was sending a glare his way. Why the sudden hostility? Nexus has only been nice up till now. "Today will not contain much, I will go over what being elite entails as well we will do some icebreakers. For now, time for introductions and I want you to come up here in order of ranking" With that, he went to the side and sat at his desk. The first to walk up was the Pyroar.
"I'm Jai Chesterfield, eighteen, a senior who originally went to Evergreen even though I lived in Hot Rock. My goal is to graduate number one in this school and so far I'm at the number one spot" he spoke very calmly and his voice was alluring. The girls in the class squealed at him. Typical, I knew him before. You could never see him without a group of girls or guys around him in school.
"Looks like I'm next" The Nidoking walked up and he was very happy and had a pep in his step. "I'm Corrode Gaia and today August sixteenth is my 18th birthday making me eighteen, I'm a senior. I'm here in search of testing out battle styles, but I'm also in search of a friend from when I was in Johto" he was so kind and genuine, kind of made me chuckle. Walking up to the front next with a big smirk was an Arcanine.
"The name's Percival Grimwater, eighteen, senior. Just saying I should've been ranked number one with my exhibition match but I'll just show you my power down the line. I'm here to fight the strongest pokemon and Evergreen has been producing strong students lately. By the way, I'm from Kanto" his words came out nonchalantly and he gave off a bit of a punk vibe, but I feel like there is something else there. That was our top three students and I have to say interesting. Some other students went up and I realized this class is equal to ten guys and ten girls.
Next up was Nexus and he walked up front. "I'm rank seven Macalister Nexus, eighteen, senior. I study pokemon anatomy and love understanding the capabilities of pokemon just like our teacher. I hope to learn a lot while I'm here" He then walks offstage and smiles at me. I huff in annoyance again like earlier. What's his deal? More pokemon went up and I tuned everything out for a second until I heard a malicious growl.
"The name is Fang Blister, rank thirteen, I'm a transfer from Galar and seventeen making me a junior" without trying it sounds like he's barking and itching for a fight. His eyes were red the whole time and I thought their eyes were green when they weren't in a fight. "I'm here just to waste time till I can join the Galar gym challenge, then I can show the world my power" when he spoke you could see his sharp fangs, and talk about a dangerous personality. It was my turn and I walked to the front of the room where I could see all my classmates.
"I'm Kai Blaze, rank fourteen, seventeen, and former captain of the judo club. I'm a junior. I look forward to challenges this year and those who will push me to the limit. I dream of becoming a professional battler and get invitations to join tournaments and festivals across the globe" my aura flares to life and I can feel myself heating up the room a bit. I then clear my throat to calm myself down and take a seat. Before I sat down Nexus was visibly smiling at me and Fang was sending a glare my way. What's his deal? When I sat down I looked at our teacher and he was eyeing all of his students. Michael Tailside the name sounds familiar and I wonder why Nexus glared at him. Has he seen him before?
"I'm Sydney Stone, rank seventeen, eighteen, and a Senior. I come from Kanto as well and specialize in the medical field using nature. That doesn't mean I should be underestimated" Her voice was calming like silk. " I look forward to what our days together bring" she was very well versed.
After a few more students came up and introduced themselves, Tailside came to the front. "I would think it would be good to go over what is expected of you as an elite. I will be treating you similarly to college students and I used to be a college professor before coming here" Everyone nodded and then he made a hologram appear behind him with rules and regulations. "As elites, you are recognized as the strongest students in the school regardless of year. If you keep your elite status to the end of the year you graduate regardless of what year you are" a lot of my classmates cheered at that. "The rule doesn't change much since you all here are juniors and seniors" He lectured.
"You said if we held the title of the elite. What's that supposed to mean?" The Nidoking piped up.
"Good question that will be explained later," Tailside answered. "Moving on you all in this school have an influence on the school in terms of power you as a group have. You are below Dean Lumino and right above the student council which doesn't have much power anymore. With that said you will help plan school events as well as tournaments" He took a break to drink his water. "Now you will not have a regular course being an elite, I will give you more practical training besides the core classes I'm required to teach. Moving on there are three major events this semester, One coming up soon is the evergreen tournament, after that is the Class Change Tournament, and last but not least the PWT invitational" he explained.
"Why do we need to plan for these events since we also compete in them?" This time Sydney asked the question.
"Actually you will not compete in the evergreen tournament as an elite it would be unfair, especially at the start of the year. Instead, we will make sure the tournament runs smoothly" Everyone nodded. "Next I will address Corrode's question. With the Class Change Tournament you will be allowed to compete and if you lose at any point to a normal student that student will take your rank and you will be a regular student, but let's say you are ranked five and lose to rank eight you will swap ranks. I hope that answered your question" Tailside looked at Corrode.
"Yes, thank you" he nodded vigorously.
"I can cover the PWT later but for now I'll leave you with that" He then turned off the hologram. "Now about those Icebreakers I want you to do that on your own. Introduce yourself to your fellow elites, let it be through battle, a chat, or even dinner. However, if you ever do decide to fight, please record it through your Orb. That is your homework for the next time we meet which will be Monday, you have the whole weekend. You are dismissed" He was well composed but very relaxed. Reminds me of my chat with Lumino. "Oh, and it can't be your roommate" His last words before everyone started pouring into the elevator.
I started making my way out of the building on my own. "Hey Kai, wait up!" I looked behind me and it was Nexus. He then caught up to me " I thought we could get lunch together and get to know each other as roommates" We started walking to our dorm to drop off our stuff.
"You know hanging out with me won't count" I chuckled a bit.
"I know but I want to be friends with the guy I'll be living with" he faced opposite me so I couldn't see his face.
"Why not I need new friends anyway" after I responded Nexus still wouldn't look down at me. Then I felt like we were being watched. I couldn't tell from where.
(Iwatodai Dorm - Persona 3)A/N: Fang's theme
"Hey, you two" I jumped at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. Turning around, behind us was Fang. Though my uneasy feeling didn't go away.
"Oh, who are you?" I asked as if I was playing dumb and laughed. I could see his green eyes turn red and he started to growl.
"Fang Blister, the golden boy of Circhester in Galor. Known for his abilities being better than his tongue. At his age, he has already defeated several of Galor's gym leaders. His parents died in a lab accident when he was six" Nexus explained like he was a Pokedex.
"How would you know shit like that without asking me?" Fang was caught off guard.
"So the info I gathered was true" Nexus nodded.
"I was going to challenge the fire cat over there and show off to you but after putting my life on air for anyone around I'll challenge you" you couldn't help but flinch at his growling.
"Show off for me, guess I caught someone's eye. I accept, but for tomorrow afternoon I have plans tonight with this said fire cat" I blushed for some reason at Nexus's words.
"Whatever, If you don't get moving I'll leave you behind" I turned heel and continued to the dorm. Trying to cover up my blush.
"Coming, no need to be rude" Nexus whined a bit.
"You two, I wasn't done! Get back here!" His voice started to drown out in the distance as we got closer to the dorm. The feeling of being watched never went away.
(Circhester Theme - Pokemon)
When we got back to the room and dropped off our stuff I got a message from Luna.
"Hey, Kai was wondering how your first day was. Pollon, Nix, Angel, and I are going to get pizza. I know you and Angel have something going on, but I promise to be a mediator" I read the message while in my room.
"Kai, I was thinking of something simple tonight so we could have a conversation and really talk," Nexus yelled from across the hall. I chuckle a bit at the fact he was yelling. I decided to change into something simple, red flame shorts and a white top with a flame in the center.
"My friends invited me out to pizza, I could introduce you to them and they would do nothing but embarrass me" I came out of my room to be met by Nexus but he was in some ripped jean shorts and a palm tree shirt. He was also wearing a necklace that had a blue crystal as the pendant. For someone perceived as a nerd, he can dress well.
"Sure, why not?" he gritted his teeth as if he wanted to reject the idea. We made our way out into town and I gave Nexus a little description of our dragon-specialized town.
"We even have a festival of dragons in November, you find a partner beforehand and you both do a special song and dance together before the festival in some way the two get blessed. However only dragons can participate. Though a dragon can choose a different type as its partner" I explained.
"Why would I participate, what's the incentive?" Nexus's response was very calculated. I'm intrigued.
"It's said you get a blessing of sorts, I'm not sure I never got invited by another dragon" I sighed. "Well here we are" We stood outside the pizza place.
"Oh my gosh, it's sooooo good to see you" a Sylveon came out to greet Kai.
Action: Let's end this right here.
Nexus: You're a dick.
Action: Ask the previous cast that they had to deal with me for four years.
Kai: Can I say, everyone is a bit more of a dick in this book?
Pollon: Very true.
Milo: I'm back everyone and it seems they have no clue of what I did.
Sydney: You did what now?
Action: He did nothing.
