It was just another, regular normal day at Duel Academy, especially for the Obelisk Blues who were minding their own business peacefully when Chazz, who was still under the influence of the Society of Light, just barged in through the doors, drawing the attention of the Obelisk Blues.
"Chazz?"
"What's a Slifer slacker dropout like him doing here?"
"And what's with the white get-up?"
Amused by their predictable reactions, Chazz chuckled darkly, standing tall and confident. "This is the white uniform which represents the Society of Light. You guys should take off your own uniforms that looks like faded horsehair. Come on over to the spotless white world of the Society of Light, and I promise that your transfer will be painless!"
Slightly irritated and angered by Chazz's attitude and insults, the Obelisk Blues rallied together to defend not only themselves, but for their infamous and strong dorm as well.
"As if we would want to transfer to some make-believe fairy tale of yours!"
"Yeah! And besides, blue is the pride of us elites!"
"If you're trying to make a fool out of us elites, then bad news! It's not working!"
Chazz merely laughed out of amusement to their futile efforts. "Ahahaha! You guys obviously think too small! I'm an elite member of the most powerful organization in the world! The Society of Light will shake the world and bring it down to its knees soon enough! And for its beginner steps, you guys will be joining this organization too, whether you like it or not!"
"Hmph! As if we'll do what you say!" scoffed one Obelisk Blue member.
"Be persistent as much as you want. It won't matter. Soon, you'll truly see the glory of the Society of Light for yourself," said Chazz, acting all smug.
"How? You're going to duel all of us to make us join?"
Smirking, Chazz readied his stance. "Sure, why not? I can spare a couple of minutes."
Surprised by Chazz's dedication, the group of Obelisk Blues refused to back down as well as they activated their duel disks. "The elites stand by their words! We won't lose to some slacker like you!"
Also activating his duel disk, Chazz's presence and aura suddenly frightened his opponents as they could feel the tremendous power overflowing from Chazz, as though someone even scarier and tougher than him was somehow guiding him. "Your wheel of fate has begun to turn...DUEL!"
Within the next few minutes of the duel, all that could be heard from the insides of the Obelisk Blue dormitory was the sound of screams along with huge explosives until silence...
Later...
"Alexis! Alexis! There's been so many strange things going on, including our Blue Dorm!" cried out Jasmine as she and Mindy were currently talking to Alexis, Syrus, Jaden, and Hassleberry about their current problem.
"Yeah, something's going on, and we're scared!" said Mindy.
Blinking in surprise, Alexis sighed, knowing that they were telling the truth and that this isn't some emergency make-up disaster situation again. "Well, I've been pretty busy with things happening in Slifer Red, but you may be right. Let's investigate at once."
Together, all of them rushed towards the direction leading to the Boys Blue Dorm, only to cover their eyes with their arms from the sheer bright light emitting from the dorm itself. Actually, it couldn't even be called the Blue Dorm anymore because there wasn't even a single trace of blue, only white as pure as snow. It was so white, that it was sparkling nonstop and shining brightly.
What was more shocking than the newly refined dorm was an unconscious and battered Atticus laying on the ground, which the others rushed over to aid him.
"Atticus!" Alexis shouted, kneeling down besides her brother and trying to help him up. "What happened?! Who did this to you?!"
Although barely conscious, Atticus could make out his sister's face as he weakly muttered, "I'm...alright...I tried to prevent Chazz and his guys from painting the dorm white...but I...I failed...I'm sorry."
"Wait, Chazz and his guys did this?" wondered Jaden, now spotting the mastermind behind the recreation of the original Boys Blue Dorm.
A large group of students, who happened to be residents of the former Boys Blue Dorm and standing in front of the front steps of the dorm, had their blue coats replaced with firm, white coats and several were holding up a throne with Chazz sitting on top of it, looking more smug and confident than he usually is.
"Well, it's about time you losers got here! And here, I was beginning to feel restless in my own glorious throne, proof of my high position in the Society of Light!" announced Chazz.
"All hail the Society of Light!" Chazz's group cheered loudly and proudly.
Chazz smirked before declaring, "I don't deserve all the credit! After all, Master Sartorius himself told me to dye Duel Academy as white as light!"
"Huh? Who's Sartorius?" wondered Alexis.
"Hmm...Didn't Aster say that he had a manager named Sartorius?" said Jaden. "Nah...can't be!"
"No, you're right on that part. But him being his manager is just his front cover!" explained Chazz. "Master Sartorius is the man who will obtain this world! The master of our Society of Light! The ne who holds the answers to everything!"
"...Anyone know what he's talking about?" wondered Syrus.
"I'm completely lost," admitted Bastion, who was just as confused as Syrus.
Calling out to Chazz, Jaden shouted, "HEY, CHAZZ! YOU OKAY?! YOU WANT ME TO GET PROFESSOR FONTAINE TO TAKE YOU TO THE INFORMARY?!"
Covering his ears from Jaden's loud outburst, Chazz shouted back, "NO! And stop yelling so loudly! And I'm FINE! The ones who have a problem are the ones who haven't woken up and seen the light! In other words, YOU GUYS! I'll prove it with my duel!"
"Huh a duel? Okay, that method's more sensible!" replied Jaden, excited. "Alright, then I'll-!"
"Wait," interrupted Alexis. "This is a problem within Obelisk Blue. I'll be the one to duel him."
Knowing that once his sister made up her mind, it was difficult to change it. Atticus should know after constantly being persistent to her, especially after that idol duel. "Alexis, be careful. These students all have challenged Chazz and lost. So, they all turned white and become like mindless zombies."
Alexis nodded and faced Chazz. "Alright, you ready to duel, Chazz? It's just you and me! A one-on-one duel!"
"That's fine with me," agreed Chazz, confident in his new powers and abilities. "I hope you can experience the beauty of the Society of Light."
Meanwhile, with Sartorius...
In his own private room, Sartorius was scrambling various tarot cards on his table, trying to seek out another one of his fortune tellings as he was still bewildered and shocked over the unexpected loss of Aster's duel with Jaden.
'Jaden Yuki...She was originally supposed to lose the duel and grant Aster another victory, but somehow, she managed to overturn fate,' thought Sartorius as he sought out the answers within his scrambled tarot cards.
While continuously scrambling his cards at random, one of them slipped off the side of the table and turned, revealing to Sartorius the answer he sought for. 'The Upright Pope! That means...I no longer need Aster, but Jaden Yuki?'
Back at Duel Academy...
Once everything was set for preparations, the Society of Light members that Chazz had brainwashed, along with himself, Alexis, and her own troupe of friends, gathered in the Duel Arena, where both Alexis and Chazz would square off in the duel they had agreed upon.
"You really dared to accept it," said Chazz, mildly surprised, yet impressed. "Accept the baptism of light and become white, too. Bathe in the light of truth. When your heart becomes white, you'll see something."
"Yeah? Then, tell me this; what exactly do you see right now?" questioned Alexis.
"Well, I can see people's fates. In other words, their futures! People are helpless before fate. But those who are bathed in the light of truth can foresee the future. It's just one of the many powers granted to me by becoming a member of the Society of Light!"
"Sorry, but I'm no fatalist. Never have been, never will be," Alexis denied, rejecting his ideals. "Future is explored according to people's wills. I've been living like that, and I'll continue down that path!"
Chuckling at her response, Chazz said, "Humans are insignificant creatures. Open your eyes and wake up. Although, I suppose it's not your fault. After all, you were taught and lived that way, so I can understand that it'll take you a while to understand the Society of Light's ideals. When I win, you'll be guided by the light of truth! All by the Society of Light!"
Upon hearing Chazz's proclamation and further dedication to the Society of Light, the other members of the Society of Light cheered, yelling out their organization's name, thus rallying up their members even more.
"That stupidity again? I'll wake you up with this duel!" shouted Alexis before she and Chazz both activated their duel disks.
"DUEL!"

"I'll start!" said Chazz, who drew his first card. "I'll activate the Continuous Spell card, Infernal White! Now, for the rest of the duel, you're allowed to see my entire hand! Light shines on everything fairly. People in the Society of Light have no shadow! They share no secrets, so naturally, I won't hide anything in my hand, either!"
While seeing the rest of his cards gave Alexis a huge advantage, the female duelist was still skeptical. 'He's showing the cards in his hand to me...Is it some kind of trap? Either way, I'll have to be extremely careful in this duel! The real Chazz would never pull off a move like this!'
"I summon Armed Dragon LV3 in Attack Mode!"
Armed Dragon LV3 - (WIND/Dragon) - LV3 - (1200/900)
"Then, I set a card facedown and end my turn!"
"What's the point of setting Mystical Space Typhoon facedown if your opponent already knows what's underneath? Man, Chazz being in the Society of Light just made him dumber!" commented Hassleberry.
"Yeah," agreed Syrus. "Chazz just pretty much lost the duel the second he exposed his cards just like that."
"Actually, it's a great strategy," replied Atticus, thinking he's solved the purpose behind Chazz's reckless move. "It's the technique of an advanced lover. He's trying to woo her!"
"Really? That didn't seem like it to me," said Jasmine.
"Yeah, I'm going to have to agree on her on this one," Mindy said.
"Wait, I'm confused," spoke up Jaden. "This isn't really love. It's more of a duel, really."
Atticus laughed. "So naïve, Jaden. Love is the same as a duel! Although, I do have to wonder if he's trying to hit on Jaden or my sister? Oh! He must be forming a harem! That's the only explanation!"
"Yeah, I am still so confused."
"My turn!" shouted Alexis, drawing her card.
"The effects of the continuous Spell, Infernal Light, activates!" interrupted Chazz. "As long as Infernal Light is activate, during each of your Standby Phases, prepare to take 600 Points of Damage!"

Ignoring the pain she felt a while ago, Alexis continued her turn. "I summon Cyber Tutu in Attack Mode!"
Cyber Tutu - (EARTH/Warrior) - LV3 - (1000/800)
"Next, I equip Cyber Tutu with the Equip Spell card, Angel Wing!"
After making such a move, Alexis peered at Chazz suspiciously, awaiting for him to make a sort of counterattack. She assumed that because he had Mystical Space Typhoon as his facedown card, he would immediately use it to get rid of her Angel Wing Spell card, but he hasn't done anything, confused the female duelist further. Was he planning to use it in a later date?
"Cyber Tutu, attack Chazz directly using your special ability!"
Obeying her commands, Cyber Tutu used her newfound wings to soar past Armed Dragon LV3, as when an opponent's Monster's Attack Points are higher than hers, then Cyber Tutu is allowed to launch a direct attack on the opponent himself, which she successfully did before flying back to her mistress' side.

Alexis - 3400 LP
"According to the effects of Angel Wing, because you took damage from the Monster equipped to it, you take an additional 300 Points of Damage!" explained Alexis.

"I place two cards facedown and end my tur-"
"Wait. Let me take this opportunity to destroy that troublesome trap card that you're hiding," said Chazz, pointing to one of Alexis' facedown card. "Before the end of your turn, I activate my Quick-Play Spell, Mystical Space Typhoon, to destroy the card on the right!"
Much to Alexis' shock, the Trap she had originally planned to use shattered away like glass once it was targeted, thus rendering that plan useless.
"The light of the truth shines on everything. Did you really think I would use my Mystical Space Typhoon on something as girly as that Angel Wing Spell you had? Please, I could use it on better cards than that useless card! It was my timing that you couldn't predict, Alexis! Ahahaha!"
Despite losing one card, Alexis wasn't out of the game as she had a Plan B in mind. 'If Chazz's Armed Dragon LV3 remains in the field, he'll evolve it into LV5 in the next turn. My other Trap, Pure Pupil, will aid me in that time. When its effect is used, the Monster will be destroyed when it's effect is activated. That means that not only will LV5's summoning be stopped, but it'll also destroy LV3. If Chazz can really see the future, he should have foreseen this outcome, then!'
"My turn, draw!" said Chazz; the effect of Infernal Light revealing his drawn card out towards everyone to see.
"This is it! Chazz is definitely going to upgrade his dragon into a LV5 Monster!" cried out Syrus, scared.
'...What? Why? Why doesn't he use LV3's effect? Is he just stalling for time, or what?' thought Alexis after some time has passed.
"I already know what you're thinking," bragged Chazz. "'Why doesn't he activate Armed Dragon's effect? Why isn't he doing what I want him to?' Well, there's no way I'm going to fall for that Trap you placed there. If I had to guess, that other facedown card is probably Pure Pupil, isn't it?"
Further shocked by Chazz's reply, Alexis couldn't believe it, gasping in terror. "B-But how?! How did you know that?!"
Despite claiming to be bathed in light, Chazz appeared as though he was cloaked in an aura of darkness himself. "Heheh...I told you already, Light shines on anything!"
Alexis thought her fear was getting to her, because for a brief moment, she could see the wheel of fate behind Chazz, with a mysterious man manipulating the wheel of fate, thus frightening Alexis with that image.
"If someone enters the Society of Light, they'll see into the future?" wondered Hassleberry curiously.
"Of course not! As if anyone actually has the power to see into the future!" scoffed Syrus, dismissing his thoughts as nonsense.
"No, this might be part of Chazz's strategy," replied Atticus, understanding Chazz's new way of dueling. "Alexis is trapped in Chazz's psychological enclosure. By purposely allowing her to see his cards, it may seem as though Chazz has given her an advantage, but really, he's manipulated her way of thinking, making her assume that he'll play the best moves when really, Alexis can't focus on her own dueling, which is exactly what Chazz is hoping for."
"Alexis! Get a grip! Pull yourself together! Don't be fooled by Chazz's lies!" called out Hassleberry.
"Oh yeah? Watch this!" called out Chazz. "I activate my Level Down! Spell card! Now, according to this effect, the level of Armed Dragon LV5 in my hand will decrease by two levels until the end of this turn! Now, I summon Armed Dragon LV5!"
Armed Dragon LV5 - (WIND/Dragon) - LV5 - (2400/1700)
"Now, Armed Dragon LV5, destroy Cyber Tutu!"
All it took was one blow from Armed Dragon LV5 to utterly and mercilessly crush Cyber Tutu with his claw.

Recovering from the blow, Alexis shouted, "Angel Wing's effect activates! When it's sent to the Graveyard, I can draw one card from my deck!"
"It won't matter what you drew! That won't stop my Armed Dragon LV3 from delivering a direct attack to you!" said Chazz, issuing the command for his other Dragon-Type.
Upon reaching Alexis, Armed Dragon LV3 delivered a rough uppercut punch to Alexis' chin, knocking her back a little as her points received a critical hit.

"Next, I activate Armed Dragon LV5's effect! When he destroyed a Monster in battle this turn, I can send him to the Graveyard and replace him with Armed Dragon LV7 from my hand or deck!"
Armed Dragon LV7 - (WIND/Dragon) - LV7 - (2800/1000)
Seeing one of their Society of Light's representative's most strongest Monsters on the field rose the morale of the rest of the Society of Light members as they cheered on Chazz even louder.
Alexis knew that she was in real trouble now. 'This is bad! Normally, I would activate my Pure Pupil Trap, but the conditions require me to have at least 1 Monster with 1000 or less Attack Points! Cyber Tutu is gone, so I'm defenseless if I don't come up with something on my next turn!'
"Alexis, your turn," chuckled Chazz darkly. "Make it count."
Seeing his adorable little sister shaking like a leaf and being unsure of herself was the last straw for Atticus as he stood up and yelled loudly to grab her attention. "ALEXIS! You shouldn't be weak enough to be played by fate! To search for me when I disappeared, you struggled and fought with all your might, doing everything you could to find me! With that strong will, you can explore fate! Little sister, you're my pride!"
Eyes watering, Alexis fought back tears as she was touched by Atticus' speech, unable to conjure up the words to thank her. "Big brother...thank-"
"So, to prove my love, I'm gonna sing you a song!"
...Wait, what?
Alexis was happy that Atticus cheered her up and was considering to thank him properly once the duel was over, but immediately changed her mind the moment his mouth opened to sing, for Atticus' singing was very much like nails scratching deeply in a chalkboard. Everyone, including Chazz and Alexis, had to cover their ears and found themselves groaning and crying out over the terrible singing Atticus presented.
"AAAAAAHHHH!"
"MAKE IT STOP, MAKE IT STOP!"
"HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!"
Needless to say, Atticus' performance was only halfway done, only stopped when the Society of Light members began throwing objects at Atticus to get him to stop. The only ones unfazed and happy were Mindy and Jasmine; being the Atticus fangirls they are.
"..." Alexis sighed, shaking her head. Her brother was a charmer, but definitely a failed singer. Turning back to Chazz, Alexis decided to resume the duel with newfound resolve she obtained from her terrible singer brother. "I decide my own destiny! My turn!"
"According to the effects of Infernal Light, you take 600 points of Damage during your Standby Phase," reminded Chazz.
Chazz - 2700 LP
Alexis - 200 LP
Despite the disadvantage she had, Alexis was still willing to keep going. "I activate the Spell, Pot of Greed! Now I draw two more cards from my deck! Now I summon Cyber Petit Angel!"
Cyber Petit Angel - (LIGHT/Fairy) - LV2 - (300/200)
"When Cyber Petit Angel is summoned, I can add Machine Angel Ritual from my deck to my hand! Then, I activate that Spell and sacrifice the Cyber Petit Angel on the field and Cyber Prime from my hand to Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Dakini!"
Cyber Angel Dakini - (LIGHT/Fairy) - LV8 - (2700/2400)
"When she's Special Summoned, you must select and choose one of your Monsters to be destroyed!"
"It's obvious! I choose Armed Dragon LV3!" said Chazz, allowing the weakest of his Monsters on the field to be instantly destroyed.
"I'll set two cards facedown and end my turn," Alexis spoke, finishing her turn. She thought with intellect, 'Right now, the way I am, there's no way I can defeat him in a direct battle. But his Life Points are at 2700, the same Attack Points as my Dakini. If Chazz chooses to attack with Armed Dragon LV7, I'll activate Doble Passe, which will lead into a draw. But, if he happens to activate Armed Dragon's effect, I'll use my other facedown, Angel Blast, to negate that effect and destroy it. Either way, these two paths will lead to my victory!'
"Ha! It seems that you won't understand fate, for light doesn't shed on you," said Chazz, interrupting her thoughts.
"Really? Fate is the result of choice," replied Alexis. "With strong and correct willpower, fate can be explored in any tough situation. I thought you, of all people, would understand that. After all, you were always rebellious and even went so far as to join North Academy before coming back on your own free will. That doesn't sound like fate controlling you, now does it?"
Amused by her reply, Chazz explained, "Having overcome the tough fate, I got to know that the wheel of fate was beyond people's will. So, people seek the light for answers. Light that sheds on everything! All hail the light!"
"ALL HAIL THE LIGHT!" The rest of the Society of Light cheered, continuing to support the Society of Light.
"My turn, draw!" said Chazz. "I activate the Spell, Magical Mallet! I choose to add not only Magical Mallet, along with the two other cards in my hand back to my deck and shuffle, so I get to draw the same number of cards I put back in my deck! The two new cards I obtained are these!"
Seeing Chazz's most strongest Armed Dragon card along with an unfamiliar card caused Alexis to sweat nervously. 'Does his drawing strength benefit from the light of truth?' wondered Alexis.
"I sacrifice Armed Dragon LV7 to Special Summon Armed Dragon LV10!" yelled Chazz.
Armed Dragon LV10 - (WIND/Dragon) - LV10 - (3000/2000)
"Next, I equip him with my new Equip Spell card, White Veil! Now, attack!"
"Hold on! I activate my Trap, Doble Pase!" shouted Alexis. She awaited for the effect to take place...before realizing nothing was happening. "What?! What's going on?!"
Smirking, Chazz said, "When the Monster with White Veil equipped to it attacks, all Spells and Traps you control are destroyed and negated! Now, continue with your assault, Armed Dragon LV10!"
Arm pulsing with newfound power emitting from White Veil, the enhanced Armed Dragon LV10 fired a large illuminating ball of light that not only annihilated Dakini, but was powerful enough to knock out Alexis even though most of the damage was sent to her Monster.

Winner: Chazz
Once the light died down, all that was left was a defeated Alexis laying down on the side of the dueling platform as Chazz approached her. Jaden and the rest of her friends ran forward to check up on her.
"This instant was determined before the start of the duel," replied Chazz. "Human will can't help. This is a thing called fate."
"Are you alright, Alexis?" asked Jaden.
"Alexis, please wake up!" cried out both Mindy and Jasmine.
"Alexis, don't give in! You've been strong all this time! Stay strong!" urged Atticus.
"Don't give up! Strong will power will break fate!" said Jaden.
"...What are you talking about?" questioned Alexis, getting up. "Nothing can change me. I experienced a wonderful duel. Yes, it truly was wonderful I, too, have accepted the baptism from the Society of Light."
"Precisely. I knew you'd come around," replied Chazz, much to everyone's surprise before the two left, making everyone else wonder what fate had in store for them in the near future.
Okay! This is just the start of what's to happen, with the whole Society of Light forming, and I gotta say, even though Alexis' Doble Passe plan might have worked should it have gone her way, the other option might make her lose. I mean, sure Armed Dragon LV7 might be destroyed, but that's just it. It wouldn't have dealt damage, and if Chazz ended his turn right there and then, then in the next turn, Alexis would have lost thanks to Chazz's Infernal Light effect.
