I have to admit, several of the filler episodes in the GX anime are pretty dumb in my opinion, but this episode is just one of my favorites! I think you guys will understand why after watching the episode and reading the chapter!

It was already the second day of the Genex Tournament, and yet nobody has bothered challenging Jaden! Granted, she did duel a Society of Light member yesterday to make up for her duel towards Prince Ojin, but other than that, nobody bothered to approach her. In fact, at one single glance at Jaden, every duelist started running away from her!
"Maaaan! Why won't anyone duel me already?!" complained Jaden in the second day of the Genex Tournament. "Even the Society of Light guys are avoiding me! I want some action!"
"Well, can you blame them?" said Syrus, looking up from examining his own cards. "You're pretty much the strongest duelist in Duel Academy! It'd practically be like an immediate surrender if they duel you!"
"Yeah, they're all just scared of how good you are, Jay!" agreed Hassleberry.
"Gee, thanks guys," muttered Jaden, pouting. "...Hey, wait a minute! I challenge both of you to a duel! Right now! Come on! Let's go!"
Jaden's loud demand startled both boys. 'Good thing we already dueled once today!' they both thought.
"S-Sorry, Jaden! I already dueled someone, so that means I have the right to deny you the duel!" apologized Syrus.
"Y-Yeah! Me too! Part of the rules, remember?" said Hassleberry.
"Tch!" Jaden looked away, pouting in disappointment.
"Kuri, Kuri!" Popping out from nowhere, Winged Kuriboh appeared and glanced up at the skies worriedly; his loud cries alerting Jaden.
"Winged Kuriboh? What's wrong, little bud?" Jaden asked, holding him close.
"Huh?" Looking at the skies which was once blue but now completely filled with stormy clouds, Syrus seemed puzzled. "I didn't know there'd be a storm today. And the weather seemed great, too."
"Think it's gonna rain?" wondered Hassleberry.
Suddenly, a pillar of fire shot up from amongst an area filled with trees not far from their location. The pillar of fire only grew more stronger and expanded in size as its flames consumed the trees, burning them to a crisp and leaving not even a single speck of ash behind.
"Someone must be dueling there!" cried out Syrus.
Not only could she feel the heat radiating off from the pillar of fire, but Jaden could sense that the fire attack was more than just a hologram. It felt...real.
"That's one awesome power," muttered Jaden in awe as Winged Kuriboh let out a hum of agreement before vanishing.
"Just whose dueling who?! And what sort of Monster did they just summon?!" exclaimed Hassleberry, feeling sweat dripping from his toned body as the heat increased further in temperature.
Emerging from within the pillar of fire, with its golden, eagle-like wings spread wide, was the well-known, most powerful being amongst the Egyptian Gods, the Winged Dragon of Ra.
"..."
"..."
"...What. The. Fu-"
Later...
Jaden and her friends were left both confused and shocked at the sudden appearance of the Winged Dragon of Ra. They had no idea if their eyes were playing tricks on them or if what they saw was actually real and that somehow, someone actually summoned the Winged Dragon of Ra. When they arrived at the area where the supposed Monster was, all they saw was an unconscious and injured duelist who was clearly the loser, while the winner had walked off somewhere.
In the end, the three just decided that what they saw was just their imagination and that whatever Duel Monster that had appeared possibly resembled the Winged Dragon of Ra, or was some unknown, golden FIRE-Attribute Monster summoned in the middle of a duel. After all, only the King of Games could ever possess the Egyptian God cards and if he was truly here on the island, there would have been witnesses who saw Yugi Muto and his appearance would have spread throughout campus already.
Now, besides their possible hallucination of seeing the Winged Dragon of Ra, Jaden and her friends, well, just Jaden and Syrus, had received a call from their good friend, Chumley, saying he was going to come to Duel Academy for a visit, and that he was going to visit the Chancellor's Office first before seeing them.
Being the impatient and excited girl she is, Jaden had sprung off towards the Duel Academy building as soon as she learned the news. It's been a while since they last heard of Chumley since he's been busy as an employer at Industrial Illusions. She and Syrus don't get much news from Chumley because of his busy duties, but she has heard of some of his successful artworks in card designing, meaning he was doing well in Industrial Illusions.
Bursting through the Chancellor Office's doors, Jaden rushed in excitedly. "Is Chumley really here?!"
To her joy, Chumley really did arrive, along with a surprise guest; famous Maximillion Pegasus. Chumley didn't look like he changed much besides donning a new business suit, but he seemed just as happy to see Jaden.
"Jaden!" Chumley walked towards her, embracing her tightly. "It's good to see you again!"
"Gah! Too...tight...Chumley...!" grunted Jaden, as his body mass was a bit too overwhelming for her.
"Oh? And who might this young lady be?" wondered Pegasus.
Sheppard, who was delighted to see a friendly reunion between two close friends, answered, "This is Jaden Yuki, Chumley's former roommate and currently close friend to him."
"Oooh! So this is Jaden-gal!" cooed Pegasus, shaking Jaden's hands. "It's so nice to finally meet you! I always hear about you from Chumley-boy!"
"Oh! Thanks!"
"Jaden, this is Maximillion Pegasus, the Honorary President and Founder of Industrial Illusions!" announced Sheppard. "You may also know him as the creator of Duel Monsters!"
"Oh, this is so awesome! Chumley, you never mentioned that your boss would be coming along with you!" said Jaden. "But, wait, not to sound rude or anything, but why is he here?"
Frowning, Sheppard proceeded to give out a short summary of the reasoning behind Pegasus and Chumley's current appearance here in Duel Academy along with the serious issue that led them to the island. Normally, he wouldn't give out this sort of important information to just anyone, but then again, Jaden wasn't just "anyone." In fact, she was amongst the most strongest and trustworthy students in the island, so he can entrust this sort of information to her.
"What?! The Winged Dragon of Ra has been stolen?!" exclaimed Jaden. "Isn't Ra one of the Egyptian God cards that Yugi battled?!"
"Yes," replied Pegasus. "It's a card concealing tremendous power that an ordinary power could never wield. Of course, the original card no longer exists in this world, but we developed a copy that would be used only for research purposes. However, my company's chief designer has stolen it from us!"
"What's even more bad news is that we heard rumors that the copy may have ended up being played numerous times in this tournament!" said Chumley.
"Be it copy or not, the power of the Egyptian God cards is unfathomable. Worst, there have been a great number of students who have been damaged and sent to the infirmary. One thing they had in common was that these students have witnessed the Winged Dragon of Ra attacking them," added Sheppard.
With all of this shockingly new information laid before her, Jaden was becoming more convinced that the Monster that had shown up from the pillar of fire in an earlier duel was possibly the Winged Dragon of Ra.
"Crap! If that's the case, then I saw it, too! The Winged Dragon of Ra!" cried out Jaden.
Standing up, Sheppard's expression grew more solemn and worrisome. "This is very serious, then. I'll have no choice but to temporarily cancel the Genex Tournament until the card has been found."
Pegasus nodded. "Yes, I do believe that is for the best. Jaden-gal, I know this isn't your responsibility, but would you be so kind as to grant us your aid in tracking down the culprit?"
Jaden nodded. "Of course! I'd be happy to help!"
"Then, it seems we're all in agreement," spoke Sheppard before pressing down a button to use the intercom for a live broadcast announcement throughout the island. "Attention, all Genex participants! The tournament will be temporarily suspended! You are all to refrain from traveling outside. If you are in a middle of a duel, end it with a duel! Students, return to your dorms and await for further details!"
After the announcement was made, Chumley and Jaden decided to return to the Red dorms to meet with Jaden's other friends while Pegasus and Sheppard decide to inform the other teachers and the Disciplinary Action Squad to be on the lookout of a duelist possessing the Winged Dragon of Ra card and to report them immediately should they discover even a little bit of information.
"Sorry we couldn't meet you back in the office, Chumley!" apologized Syrus after Jaden escorted Chumley back to his old dorm room, where she, Syrus, and their current roommate, Hassleberry, were its occupants. "Jaden rushed off first and we wanted to clean the place up a bit!"
"It's alright!" assured Hassleberry. "It looks like you've been doing alright, Sy! And you're a Ra Yellow, no doubt! Congrats!"
"Thanks!"
"As much as I want to chat more, I'm afraid I don't have the time."
"Hmm? Did something happen?" wondered Syrus.
Right before Jaden could begin explaining, Chumley turned to her. "Jaden, I'll stay here and explain everything and then we'll catch up with you later. You just go on ahead, and knowing you, I'm sure you'll duel the culprit once you see him."
"You figured right!"
"But before you do that, I want to give you this," Chumley said, handing her a new card. "It's a new Field Spell card that I designed myself. It's called-"
"SKYSCRAPTER 2 - HERO CITY?! OH MY GOD! YESSS!" squealed Jaden. "A new Elemental Hero card! THANK YOU! I'm so gonna test it out on Ra! YEAAAH!" She zoomed out of the room faster before anyone could blink, leaving the boys in stunned silence.
It was Hassleberry that broke the silence a minute later.
"...She's gonna test it on what?"
In the midst of her search, Jaden encountered Pegasus before the two of them decided to take a break and sit on some rocks to rest. That was when Pegasus decided to tell her the dangerous power of the Winged Dragon of Ra card, even if the card they were looking for was a copy of the original.
"There have been individuals who attempted to use copies of Ra, as well," explained Pegasus. "They were part of an evil organization called the Rare Hunters, and because of their usage of the copies of the Egyptian God cards, the originals felt insulted and brought their wrath down on those that played the copies. There were those that survived miraculously, but some were unfortunate enough to lose their lives. Even though the Rare Hunters wanted power, to go so far as to even institute copies at the cost of their lives..."
"Well, well, well!"
Turning to the malicious voice nearby, Pegasus and Jaden saw a glasses-wearing man donning a trench coat and immediately stood up.
"Franz!" cried out Pegasus, confirming that the mysterious man was indeed the chief card designer he mentioned earlier that had stolen the Winged Dragon of Ra. As further proof, Franz held up the copy version of the Winged Dragon of Ra.
"Wait a minute!" said Jaden. "Isn't that the copy card?"
"You must return it!" pleaded Pegasus cautiously. "If you don't, irreversible acts will occur if you continue playing the card! Even you should be aware of this!"
"Oh, I am very much aware," said Franz. "That this happens to be the most strongest, magnificent card in the world, that is. If you want it back, you will have to try defeating me in a duel, with the card in my deck."
"...Very well, I have no choice!" Pegasus agreed, about to activate his own duel disk when Jaden stepped in.
"Leave this to me, Mr. Pegasus!" assured Jaden before looking over to Franz. "Stealing the card's one thing, but testing its power out on innocent students? I can't let you hurt more people!" Seeing Winged Kuriboh appearing to give her support, Jaden winked at him. "Aww! You came to support me, little bud? That's so sweet of you!~"
Surprised, Pegasus wondered, 'Could it be that Jaden-gal is capable of seeing spirits? If so, not only does she hold such rare powers, but she's about to face off against an Egyptian God card, even if it's a copy version! She's...she's just like Yugi-boy in his younger days! Very well, I'll allow her to take a gamble at destiny!'
"I know for a fact that there are 3 Egyptian God cards!" said Jaden. "Obelisk, Slifer, and the most strongest of the Egyptian God cards, Ra!"
"Yes!" said Franz. "It's quite unfortunate that we do not possess copies of Obelisk the Tormentor, or Slifer the Executive Producer, but those copies will bear fruition after further testing of Ra's power! Allow me to give you a thorough taste of the awesome power of MEGA ULTRA CHICKEN!"
"...Uh, what?"
"Hmm?"
"Wha...Why did you...Why did you say their titles wrong?"
"The Egyptian God cards? I did no such thing!"
"Yeah, you did!" protested Jaden. "You only got Obelisk's title right! It's Slifer the Sky Dragon, not Executive Producer! And what kinda dumb name is Mega Ultra Chicken?"
'Somehow, the original names I had temporarily granted when I first created the Egyptian God cards had leaked out!' thought Pegasus. 'The Gods will definitely not be happy with me! What was I thinking, naming them by their ridiculous names? I must have had too much grape wine while watching the Sing-A-Long version of Spice Girls again!'
"It does not matter!" shouted Franz. "What matters is the duel, now let's get to it!"
"DUEL!"
- DUEL -
Jaden - 4000 LP
VS
Franz - 4000 LP
"My turn, draw!" shouted Jaden. "I activate the Spell card, Polymerization, and I'll combine my Wildheart and Necroshade in order to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman!"
Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman - (DARK/Warrior/Fusion) - LV6 - (1900/1800)
"Then, I activate Necroshade's effect! When he's in my Graveyard, I can perform an extra Normal Summon with one Monster from my hand without Tributing, so long as that Monster has Elemental Hero in its name! And I choose Elemental Hero Neos!"
Elemental Hero Neos - (LIGHT/Warrior) - LV7 - (2500/2000)
Pegasus recognized Neo instantly and gasped. "Oh! Neos! Unbelievable! I thought all of the Neo-Spacian cards were sent to space!"
"I end my turn!" stated Jaden. Her palm started sweating and trembling with fear, although it was taking everything out of Jaden not to display her fear right in front of her opponent. 'I can't let him summon Ra! If that happens, then game over, man!'
"My turn, draw!" said Franz. His draw was unlike any normal draw, because a normal draw wouldn't suddenly summon rapid, rushing waves of wind.
Such an unexpected draw had Jaden taken aback. Normally, that kind of draw would be called a Destiny Draw, which should normally be used on a last-resort basis. Jaden hoped to the real Egyptian Gods that he didn't just draw the Winged Dragon of Ra-!
"What has you so scared?" taunted Franz.
"N-Nothing!"
Franz chuckled, obviously not believing her. "I summon Ra's Disciple in Attack Mode!"
Ra's Disciple - (LIGHT/Fairy) - LV4 - (1100/600)
"When Ra's Disciple is successfully summoned, he allows me to add two of the same card from my deck to my hand!"
"...Why?! Why does a card that'll bring Ra to the field much faster exist?!" questioned Jaden, turning to Pegasus.
Shaking his head, Pegasus defended himself. "I was not the one who created Ra's Disciple! It was all Franz to gain access to the Winged Dragon of Ra faster!"
"Oh, great!" complained Jaden. "I-I suppose he has some cheat cards, then! Maybe he has some cards that lets him automatically summon Ra or something!"
"Hmm...That would not be such a bad idea," said Franz.
"Gah! I just gave the enemy more ideas! I'm such an idiot!"
"If you're done lamenting on how much of a failure of a duelist you are, it's still my turn!" reminded Franz. "I now activate the Spell, Trap Booster! I now discard a card from my hand so that I can play a Trap from my hand! And the Trap I choose to play is called Ultimate Offering! At the cost of 500 Life Points, I'm allowed to Normal Summon or set as much as I want! And I choose to summon two more Ra's Disciples!"
Ra's Disciple - (LIGHT/Fairy) - LV4 - (1100/600) X3
Jaden - 4000 LP
Franz - 3000 LP
"Why would you summon the same Monsters three times? Ones with less Attack Points than any of my Monsters, no less?" wondered Jaden. "No way-! Unless-!"
Franz's smirk only confirmed her fears. "Yes, exactly! These will be the three sacrifices I offer up to the Winged Dragon of Ra!"
Upon the activation of Ultimate Offering and the disappearance of the three Ra's Disciples, the skies grew dark and cloudy. The dark clouds began roaring with thunder as it began initiating the appearance of the Winged Dragon of Ra.
Jaden - 4000 LP
Franz - 2500 LP
"Jaden-gal, here it comes!" warned Pegasus, feeling the ground rumbling as another sign of the Egyptian God's arrival.
"Oh, strongest of the Egyptian Gods three! It is time to resurrect forth your figure, and make these fools realize how foolish it is to defy you!" chanted Franz, raising his arms up to the skies. Come forth, WINGED DRAGON OF RA!"
Descending from the dark, stormy clouds, the golden, ancient and all-powerful Egyptian God appeared and let out a tremendous roar that echoed throughout the island, bringing forth fear from the residents all around, Jaden especially, because she was now facing off against an Egyptian God.
The Winged Dragon of Ra - (DIVINE/Divine-Beast) - LV10 - (?/?)
"The Attack Points of the Winged Dragon of Ra becomes the combined Attack Points of the Monsters offered as sacrifices," explained Franz. "The same goes for his Defense Points all the combined Defense Points of the sacrificed Monster's becomes his!"
The Winged Dragon of Ra - (DIVINE/Divine-Beast) - LV10 - (3300/1800)
"...I was not expecting today. I was definitely not expecting to face an actual God Monster today!" cried out Jaden.
"Stop this, Franz!" shouted Pegasus. "Only duelists chosen by an Egyptian God are capable of subduing one! If you don't stop, you'll be completely subjected to Ra's wrath!"
"Oh, I'm well aware," spoke Franz strangely confidently. "Which is why I have created a card that will completely dominate a God! So Ra can go on a rampage and get all angry as much as he wants! However, he will learn it is I who is the master!"
"No! Don't tell me-!" Jaden shouted.
"Yes! Fear me! For I now activate the card that will enslave and allow me to control Ra! The Field Spell, Mound of the Bound Creator!"
At the declaration of the card's name, chains erupted from beneath the ground and started to wrap themselves around the Winged Dragon of Ra. The card must have been very powerful, as not even Ra could break free of the chains despite being the most powerful of Egyptian Gods.
"...I was kinda expecting the Pyramid of Light, but I don't know which one's worst!" cried out Jaden.
"In all honesty, I couldn't agree more," said Pegasus, remembering that the Pyramid of Light card was a card that removed the God cards from play. He had created that card as a secret method in case anything went wrong with the Egyptian God cards. Perhaps he should have brought along that card.
"Behold, Pegasus, as I subdue the Egyptian God that's said to be the most strongest of the three!" exclaimed Franz. "Having become my servant, the Winged Dragon of Ra now attacks! Wipe out her most weakest Monster and direct your rage upon her! Blaze Cannon!"
As the Winged Dragon of Ra was charging a large flaming inferno ball filled with immense power, both Neos and Necroid Shaman knew that should Jaden take a blast like that, the results would be disastrous for Jaden. This was no mere holographic image; one blast could destroy Jaden entirely, leaving not even a single bit of her ashes behind.
As such, because Necroid Shaman was to be the designated target, he jumped in front of Jaden to shield her, though kept his distance. As a secondary shield after him, Neos shielded Jaden as well just as Ra unleashed its raging inferno ball at his target. Necroid Shaman was blasted to bits from taking the full fiery impact, whereas Neos took the rest. All Jaden suffered was the shockwave of the attack, causing her to fall back and crash into some trees.
Jaden - 2600 LP
Franz - 2500 LP
"Jaden-gal! Are you alright?" called out Pegasus, helping her up.
"Y-Yeah! Thanks," thanked Jaden. "My Monster may be destroyed, and my Life Points took a big hit, but it's nothing to worry! I'll try and find a way out of this!"
"You should reconsider those words," suggested Franz. "Because Mount of the Bound Creator's effect now activates! When any Level 10 or higher Monster destroys a Monster in battle, the other opponent takes 400 Points of Damage! In other words, you!"
Jaden - 2200 LP
Franz - 2500 LP
"Oh, that is unfair!" Jaden pointed out. "A card that not only controls an Egyptian God, but also deals me damage whenever I lose a Monster?! You totally made those cards so OP!"
"All's fair in love and war," replied Franz, unfazed by her accusation. "I may have created this card, but even my skills have limits. I would have increased the Effect Damage, but doing so would weakened the restrictions on the Winged Dragon of Ra, so this is the most I can muster."
"I...don't know whether to be thankful or not for that," said Jaden, clueless. "R-Regardless, I'm still gonna beat you!"
"Hmph! You can try! I end my turn!"
Hearing a low growl, Jaden glanced up and saw the Winged Dragon of Ra with a...sorrowful expression. Normally, with the exception of those who could see Duel Spirits, one couldn't see the expression of a Duel Monster in a duel, but Jaden, seeing as she's one of the few people with the rare ability to see Duel Spirits, saw Ra. He appeared to be in a lot of pain from the Mount of the Bound Creator card, and seeing him in pain and seemingly crying, Jaden couldn't help but sympathize with the Egyptian God.
"He's...crying?" wondered Jaden.
"Jaden!"
"Jay!"
"Jaden, we're here!"
"Guys!" cried out Jaden, seeing her friends, Chumley, Hassleberry, and Syrus arriving on the sidelines. "What are you doing here?"
"We saw the Winged Dragon of Ra! We figured that you might be the one dueling against the guy who has that!" replied Syrus.
"There was no way we were just waiting around, twiddling our thumbs!" said Hassleberry, crossing his arms.
"Keep at it, Jaden!" cheered Chumley.
"Wow...Thanks for your support, guys!" said Jaden happily. "Alright, my turn! I switch Neos into Defense Mode and then summon Card Trooper in Defense Mode, too!"
Card Trooper - (EARTH/Machine) - LV3 - (400/400)
"I'll end my turn with that!"
"How desperate! I draw!" said Franz. "I summon Nubian Guard in Attack Mode!"
Nubian Guard - (FIRE/Warrior) - LV2 - (500/500)
"Now, Winged Dragon of Ra! Destroy Neos!"
With another inferno ball incoming, Neos stood up slightly, though was still on his knees due to his defensive position, and blocked the inferno ball with everything he had even though he would be destroyed. It was only thanks to his own bodied shield that Jaden wasn't a pile of ashes from the hot flames that spread around her.
"Mound of the Bound Creator's effect now activates! Once again, you take another 400 Points of Damage!"
Jaden - 1800 LP
Franz - 2500 LP
"Nubian Guard, take down the last of her defenses!"
Though crippled and somewhat in a crumbling state, Nubian Guard displayed a surprising show of speed as he took down Card Trooper with a swift jab of his spear.
"Card Trooper's special ability now activates!" said Jaden. "When he's destroyed in battle, I can draw one card from my deck!"
"That's all for me," finished Franz.
"Perfect! Then, it's my turn!" Jaden said. "I now activate the Spell, Pot of Greed, which lets me draw two more cards! Now I summon Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in Attack Mode!"
Elemental Hero Burstinatrix - (FIRE/Warrior) - LV3 - (1200/800)
"Next up, from my hand, I activate the Spell, Burst Impact! Now, all Monsters on the field are destroyed except for Burstinatrix, and the destroyed Monster's controller takes damage equal to the number of Monsters destroyed x 300!"
Raising a ball of flames that didn't hold as much power as Ra's inferno ball, Burstinatrix brought down the ball of flames she conjured up from her own power down on the dueling field, creating a huge mixture of explosives and smoke. Its destructive force destroyed Nubian Guard while Ra's fate was unseen due to the large amount of smoke.

Thinking Jaden had actually defeated THE Winged Dragon of Ra, her friends began to cheer. "She did it!" cheered Syrus.
"She destroyed all of his Monsters! Including an Egyptian God!" shouted Hassleberry.
Franz only smirked. "Are you sure about that?"
The smoke vanished in an instant, and the only Monster still airborne, yet still chained down by the Mound of the Bound Creator spell, was the Winged Dragon of Ra.
"Please! Did you honestly think a puny weak Spell like that would actually work on Ra? Ra is the mightiest and most supreme deity amongst the Egyptian Gods! Such weak flames won't affect the godly flames Ra possesses!"
"...Or, it may have something to do with your Bound Creator spell?" wondered Jaden.
"Well...Yes. Mound of the Bound Creator makes it so Ra cannot be destroyed by card effects-"
"Ha! Hacks!"
"No matter! You can't destroy Ra by card effects, and there's not a single Monster who can stand up to Ra!"
"Fine, guess I gotta focus on defense for the time being!" Jaden said. "I activate the Continuous Spell, Damage Off Zone! With this, the Battle Damage we both take gets cut in half! With this, I end my turn!"
"Pointless, pointless, POINTLESS!" laughed Franz. "Mere tricks are useless against a God! My turn, draw! I activate one of Ra's special abilities! I pay 1000 Life Points to destroy all Monsters on your field!"
Jaden - 1800 LP
Franz - 1200 LP
"Incinerate them! Burn them with your Phoenix Form!"
Instead of firing a ball of inferno flames like before, the Winged Dragon of Ra's body became engulfed in flames just like a phoenix before flying down onto the ground, destroying any Monsters in sight. If it weren't for Burstinatrix's last ditch efforts to shield Jaden with a fire resistance cloaking spell, then Jaden would have suffered more than one burn on her body.
Seeing the Winged Dragon of Ra being chained down and forced to battle under Franz's commands, as well as the great Egyptian God sadden was bad enough. However, the final straw was when Franz just unleashed the Egyptian God's Phoenix Form like it was natural, not caring the strains the Egyptian God had to carry because of an overwhelming power.
"You...I don't get it!" growled Jaden, shaking with anger and clenching her fists. "You've been making cards with Pegasus and Chumley, right? I bet lots of students here would love to have a wonderful job like yours! Yet, not only do you throw away your job for one card, but you go around and use them like they're tools! What's wrong with you?!"
"But that's only natural in a duel," replied Franz. "Cards are just tools we use to win duels. The weak die, and the strong live. That's just how it is. The weak cards fade away, and the strong ones survive, and I'm one of the survivors! Besides, these days, powerful cards are always being sought after! So, I made a powerful card, but that newcomer, Chumley...his design was somehow much more better than mine, according to Pegasus! I couldn't understand it! Why? Why was some newbie's card better when mine was brimming with power?! All duelists want power, and my design just fit that category!"
Recalling the conversation Pegasus had with Franz, Pegasus was starting to realize that he should have talked things more with Franz. "Oh, my..."
"That's why, I have created a card that'll surpass the very God cards that even the legendary duelists would be afraid of! And to demonstrate my talents to Pegasus!"
"So, let me get this straight," spoke Jaden; her bands overshadowing her face. "This all began, because you were so obsessed with power, and you had this constant belief that all duelists desired strong and powerful cards. But then you grew jealous of Chumley's own card, and so that's what caused you to not only steal Ra, but also force him to harm other innocent duelists?!"
"That's the sum of it, yes."
"...Oh, oh I am SOOOO going to enjoy CRUSHING YOU."
Jaden glared up at Franz, only instead of her normal dark chocolate brown eyes, they were replaced with golden eyes. Her golden eyes drove deep into Franz's and filled him up with pure fear, as they displayed power unlike Ra's.
Blinking, Jaden's golden eyes returned back to her regular eye color, and she glanced around. "H-Huh? What's going on?"
Franz, though still slightly frightened from the power he saw within Jaden's golden eyes, shook his head to shake off the fear and glanced up at Ra. "O, Ra! Become my servant, and together, we will show them our power! Through your special, hidden ability, that is!"
"Crap! What kind of hidden ability is he talking about?!" muttered Jaden. It was bad enough that Ra was too powerful to begin with, but hearing that he had a hidden ability made him even more dangerous.
"I leave one point from my Life Points behind to convert the rest into Ra's Attack Points!"
Jaden - 1800 LP
Franz - 1 LP
Becoming an orb of purple light at first, Franz was transported to the top of Ra's head and instantly merged with the Egyptian God, transferring almost the entirety of his Life Points into Ra.
The Winged Dragon of Ra - (DIVINE/Divine-Beast) - LV10 - (4499/2999)
"No longer will I control an Egyptian God! I AM A GOD!" hollered Franz. "All is powerless before me! All is meaningless! Now begone, pest! I attack you directly with Blaze Cannon!"
Its power forcibly increased, Ra unleashed another fiery ball filled with power onto the defenseless Jaden, who screamed from the sheering, burning sensation of the volcanic-like flames that exploded upon reaching contact with the ground, engulfing everything below.
At first, Franz laughed maniacally, thinking that not only did he win his duel, but he also incinerated everyone beneath, including his former president, Maximillion Pegasus. Before he could further gloat on his victory, he was shocked to see everyone alright, with Jaden sweating and panting, but still alright.
Jaden - 900 LP

"How?! How did you survive?!"
"B-Because of Damage off Zone's other effect!" shouted Jaden. "By paying half my Life Points and sending this card to the Graveyard, it makes my Battle Damage 0!"
"Lucky little-! Fine! I set one card facedown and end my turn!"
"My turn, then!" said Jaden, drawing her card. Her eyes lit up with joy as she turned to Chumley. "Hey, Chumley! I just drew your card!"
Everyone turned to Chumley, wondering what sort of card he made for Jaden. Smiling excitedly, Chumley shouted, "Alright! Play it, Jaden! Do it!"
Nodding, Jaden continued her turn. "I activate the Field Spell, Skyscraper 2 - Hero City!"
A futuristic version of the first Skyscraper city emerged and covered the entire dueling field. It seemed more technological and advanced as it was the next level of the first Skyscraper Field Spell.
"And since a new Field Spell got activated, that means that Mound of the Bound Creator is destroyed! Ra's free now!" exclaimed Jaden.
"Oh, no!" cried out Franz, seeing the chains snap in half as Mound of the Bound Creator was no longer restricting the Winged Dragon of Ra. Ra spread its wings and let out a triumphant roar as the dark, cloudy skies cleared for a bright, blue sky; befitting for Hero City.
"And now I activate Hero City's effect!" shouted Jaden. "Once per turn, I can Special Summon an Elemental Hero Monster from my Graveyard that was destroyed in battle, and I can ignore any summoning conditions as well! So, I Special Summon Elemental Hero Neos!"
Elemental Hero Neos - (LIGHT/Warrior) - LV7 - (2500/2000)
"Next from my hand, I summon Neo-Spacian Glow Moss in Attack Mode!"
Neo-Spacian Glow Moss - (LIGHT/Plant) - LV3 - (300/900)
"When Glow Moss attacks, you have to draw a card, and depending on the card type, she has different effects! You get to add that card to your hand, but you have to reveal the card to me!"
After Jaden's explanation, Franz drew his card and revealed it to be a Spell card, Monster Reborn.
"Awesome! It's a Spell! Now she can attack you directly!"
"He only has one Life Point left! Jaden will win for sure!" said Syrus.
"I don't think so! I activate the Quick-Play spell, De-Fusion! That means that I separate myself from Ra!"
No longer was Franz merged with the Winged Dragon of Ra, as he returned to his body while a weakened Ra collapsed onto a building and crashed to the ground. Because Franz had forcibly separated himself from Ra, disregarding him, he regained Life Points equal to all of Ra's huge amount of Attack Points, thus leaving the Egyptian God in a horrible state.

"He sacrificed Ra to bring back his Life Points?!" exclaimed Jaden, horrified. "How could you?! How much cruel stuff do you have to do until you get satisfied?! First, you steal, then you test a counterfeit card on innocent students, and then you disregard Ra like he's nothing?! Ra's not some servant you can use for your own twisted ambitions! He's the strongest Egyptian God that duelists are afraid of out of respect!"
"You're wrong there! Ra's no God! I am!" declared Franz.
"Are you serious, man?! You're no God! You're just a weak man who's so obsessed with power, he grew bitter from losing to Chumley!"
Whether it was intentional or not, Jaden's taunt seemed to have worked on Franz, as his expression contorted into a twisted combination of bitterness and anger. Jaden sensed that Ra was still suffering and in humiliation from all of Franz's actions, so she decided to try and end things as quickly as possible for Ra's sake.
"Glow Moss, attack Ra!"
Creating a spear of light, Glow Moss took aim and fired it, hitting the center of the blue gem on Ra's forehead. The attack was painless and instantaneous, as the attack destroyed Ra in a peaceful manner.
Jaden - 900 LP
Franz - 4200 LP
"Neos, attack him directly! Make him pay for what he did to Ra!"
Swooping onto Franz, Neos, who was also horrified and angered by Franz's clear disrespect for Ra, delivered a heavy punch at Franz; the impact more than enough to send Franz flying towards the debris of the collapsed building.
Jaden - 900 LP
Franz - 1700 LP
'W-What the hell was that?! Just now, that punch felt real! It felt as thought that punch could have penetrated through my chest!' thought Franz, getting back up. 'No matter! I just have to survive this turn! And when my turn comes, I'll use Monster Reborn to resurrect Ra and finish this!'
"My turn's not over yet!" announced Jaden. "From my hand, I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Necro Illusion! Thanks to its effect, I can Special Summon one of my opponent's Monsters that was destroyed in battle this turn to my side of the field! But, that Monster is sent to the Graveyard at the end of my turn!"
Franz quickly realized the Monster she planned on summoning. "No! I am ruined! You can't-!"
"Served you right! I summon the Winged Dragon of Ra!"
The Winged Dragon of Ra appeared behind Jaden and released an even more powerful roar, glaring down at Franz with the intent of vengeance from its red eyes.
The Winged Dragon of Ra - (DIVINE/Divine-Beast) - LV10 - (?/?)
"You fool! Do you think you're able to control Ra without Mound of the Bound Creator?!" questioned Franz.
"Unlike you, I don't need to put chains on my cards! If I believe in them, my cards will always answer me!" shouted Jaden. "I'll leave just one Life Point and transfer the rest into Ra's Attack Points! Neos! Glow Moss! Let's go!"
Both Monsters nodded, agreeing to do what Jaden planned on.
"I sacrifice both Neos and Glow Moss to add their power into Ra's Attack Points!"
The Winged Dragon of Ra - (DIVINE/Divine-Beast) - LV10 - (3699/3799)
"Now, Winged Dragon of Ra! Attack! Use Blaze Cannon!"
Filled with all of Ra's humiliation, rage, and all other resentful emotions towards Franz, Ra unleashed one final inferno onto Franz, wiping out the last of his Life Points.

Winner: Jaden
After the duel was finished, Jaden noticed that the holographic version of Ra hadn't vanished, or more respectfully, the Winged Dragon of Ra. The great Egyptian God, even if it was a counterfeit, gave her a look of gratitude before vanishing, never to resurface again.
A few hours later, Jaden and her friends went to seeing off Chumley as he returned to Industrial Illusions with Pegasus and surprisingly Franz on the helicopter they came in. Because Pegasus understood Franz's quest for power and that people makes mistakes, he forgave Franz and gave back his position as a card designer, looking forward to Franz's new card design. The counterfeit Winged Dragon of Ra card was returned, and because the threat was gone, the Genex Tournament was announced to resume the next day.
Jaden glanced at her new card she received from Chumley. It was thanks to all of her cards that she was able to win the tough duel against Ra, but what if Chumley hadn't come along? Would she still have win?
Well, it didn't matter at this point. Not only did she get to try out her new card, which would have given her Duel Spirits a brand new home in addition to the Skyscraper city they already have, but she also got to command Ra, an opportunity not many duelists had the chance of obtaining! She could only hope that things turned out better in the future.
One question did linger into her mind. What was that strange sensation, as though something had taken over her for a brief second?
Skit: Hero City
"I honestly didn't expect for us to obtain a new Field Spell, specifically a new version of Skyscraper," admitted Bubbleman. "We oughta thank Jaden's friend for granting us a secondary city to live in."
"...What should we do with it?" wondered Grand Mole.
"What do you mean?" asked Avian to the EARTH Attribute Neo-Spacian.
"I mean, we're all underpopulated and we have more than enough space. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we have a new city, but...what are we gonna do with it?"
"This could be a secondary base of operations," replied Neos. "But, I get what you're saying. We do have lots of space even back in Skyscraper City. Hmm..."
"You know, I kinda like the name, Skyscraper City, better than Hero City," admitted Card Ejector.
"I know, right? It's like, Hero City sounds a bit cliché," agreed Grand Mole. "They could have picked a different name! Maybe...Virtuous City or something? I dunno, something badass-sounding!"
"We got a new Field Spell, hence a new city. Does the name really matter?" questioned Avian.
"Yes!" shouted a majority of the Elemental Heroes and Neo-Spacians in unison.
"Oh, bother..."
Skit: Questionable Names
"Seriously, though! There are a lot of questionable card names that I'd like to change!" declared Grand Mole later on as he and few others were on one of the patrol teams to explore around the new Hero City.
"For example?" wondered Clayman.
"Negate Attack, for one! I mean, it's pretty obvious what that card does. It negates an attack!"
"Oh! I got one!" said Air Hummingbird. "Sanwitch! Seriously, who named that poor Duel Monster after a human food? I mean, the wording's wrong, but the pronunciation is still the same."
"No wonder the poor guy gets teased and bullied a lot," sighed Lady Heat, shaking her head. "But, compared to him, he's getting off very light!"
"Might I ask what's wrong?" wondered Glow Moss, sensing Lady Heat's distress.
"A lot of card names have...lots of strange, sexual innuendos!" shouted Lady Heat, blushing. "Twin Long Rods?! There's #1 and #2! They don't even remotely look like rods! They look like something coming from Blazeman's hentai porn collection!"
Everyone came to a halt and turned to Lady Heat. "...Why do you know something like that?"
Lady Heat's blush only intensified. "N-Nothing! Forget I said something!"
"Regardless, she is correct," stated Glow Moss. "I would rather much avoid Monsters such as the Twin Long Rods. And I would also like to change the name of Pot of Greed."
"Pot of Greed?" wondered Grand Mole, dramatically gasping. "Oh, no! I wonder what that card does-"
"Don't you started that joke!" everyone else yelled. It was funny the first time, but as the meme continued throughout the human world and eventually the Spirit World, it started getting both funny and annoying real fast.
"It's just frustrating!" ranted Lady Heat, stomping her foot. "I keep hearing sexual innuendos, like 'two Dark Magician Girls, one Pot of Greed!' Or, one activating one's own 'Swords of Revealing Light!' Or 'summoning' one's own Soldier of Stone! Or 'playing' with another's Horn of the Unicorn! Ugh!"
Out of frustration, Lady Heat accidentally unleashed a fireball which, luckily, didn't burn down a building, but rather left a huge burnt mark on the walls. It appears that not only was Hero City the secondary version of Skyscraper, but somewhat tougher in structure as well.
Lady Heat then turned to her group members, who had backed a fair distance away from her out of fear, not wanting to provoke her anger. In terms of raw power, Lady Heat was significantly stronger than Burstinatrix, yet usually more mild-mannered than her. Yet right now was a demonstration of her fiery temper that they hoped never to ignite.
"Um...I'm sorry. I've just been...stressed about a lot of hero work and worrying over Jaden," apologized Lady Heat, bowing her head.
"...Hummingbird?"
"Yes, Grand Mole?"
"Remind me to never piss off the most gentle heroes around here. It seems like it's always the nicest people that are the scariest."
"Only if you stop burrowing holes in my garden."
"Deal."
Skit: Hidden Power
"Flame Wingman, just what was that power within Jaden during her duel against Ra?" questioned Neos. "Her eyes lit golden for just a moment, but I could see a hidden power within. It was gentle...yet dangerous at the same time."
"To be honest," spoke up Flame Wingman. "I don't completely understand the power dormant within Jaden, either. All I know is that it's triggered by very, VERY deep and powerful negative emotions such as anger and hatred."
"And does Jaden know of this power within her?"
"No. None of us have told her."
"Why?"
"We thought it best not to burden her with such knowledge. We didn't want to frighten her, and we had lack of information for such a dangerous power. We couldn't risk anything bad happening to Jaden should we actually tell her or test out her power."
"By that, we also meant we didn't want to test scenarios that would awaken deep anger," added Tempest.
"Luckily, Jaden is always, always filled with positivity, but I'm afraid that recent events concerning the Society of Light may accidentally trigger her power should things go downhill," said Thunder Giant.
"Honestly, the only person who knows more about this power within Jaden is Yubel," blurted out Blazeman.
"Blazeman!" snapped Ocean. "We all swore never to speak of that monster's name!"
"We're all Monsters here, man."
"You know what I mean! Don't get smart, you idiotic-"
"Enough! Stop bickering!" snapped Flare Scarab. "What is Blazeman talking about, Flame Wingman?"
"You don't need to know," said Ocean.
"I'm going to have to disagree," said Aquos. "I know we're recent additions to Jaden's deck, but if we're going to cooperate with each other, we need to know if there's any potential danger to our new owner."
"Plus, you did mention this Yubel person before, but you guys were really vague about it," said Flare Scarab. "What's going on?"
"...Gather a meeting with everyone as soon as the full expedition on the whole new city is finished," ordered Flame Wingman.
"Are we seriously telling them about that monster, Flame?!" questioned Ocean angrily.
"Yes."
Ocean turned to Blazeman. "This is all your fault! If you hadn't opened your big mouth-"
"Enough!" shouted Flame Wingman. "The Neo-Spacians would have learned about this sooner or later. We might as well get this over with."
"Yeah, don't go blaming me for something that's supposed to happen," said Blazeman.
"Blazeman, you're not off the hook either. You need to learn to keep your egotistic mouth shut. We'll discuss your punishment later!"
"Fuck!"
Skit: Unfair Advantage
"Awww! I can't believe that you didn't create a card for me!" complained Syrus to Chumley.
"Well, I'm sorry, Sy! Card creation and official publication of it is a lot difficult than you can imagine!"
"What about me?" asked Hassleberry, pointing to himself.
Chumley gave him a look. "Um...This is the first time we've met. Why would I make a card for a stranger I never met before?"
"...Okay, fair enough."
"Sy, I still don't get why you're still upset! I already explained why I didn't make a card for you!" said Chumley.
"I'm still upset by that, but I'm even more upset of why you didn't give the card to me!" said Syrus.
"...I don't understand. Why would I give you a card that doesn't fit your deck?"
"So I can give it to Jaden as a gift!"
Hassleberry jumped to his feet. "Oh, you little-! That's the reason why?! Grrr! I had a similar idea!"
"Oh yeah? Lemme hear it! What gift were you going to give to Jay?"
"I don't have to tell you that!"
"Ha! You can't tell me because you don't actually have a gift!"
"I do too!"
"Prove it!"
"This is gonna be a long day..." sighed Chumley.
Skit: Wishful Thoughts
As they were returning to Industrial Illusions on a helicopter, Chumley noticed his President glancing out the window and smiled. 'The President must be in deep thought over something important! That's what I like about Mr. Pegasus! He's funny and humorous, but when it comes to serious situations, he gets all mature and focused! I'm happy to be working under someone like him!'
Unknown to Chumley, Pegasus was thinking of something entirely different.
'Hmm...I wonder what I should do tonight? A special spa night just for me? Should I watch my cartoons? Ooh! I should definitely watch the new Blu-Ray edition of the Spice Girls! Ooh! Even better! I should call Kaiba-boy while playing Spice Girls! He gets all irritated when I do that, but I know that's just his playful way of expressing his feelings! Ooh! I just cannot WAIT!'
