This one's pretty old and probably my shortest story ever, I'll tell you that right now.
Well, it's based off a part in 'Voyage of Fear', when they found the Vahki stowaways, and...yeah. So sorry Onewa fans, I couldn't resist.
If I messed up any details, I apologize. And I don't own BIONICLE, for the record.
Matau looked up nervously before focusing once more on the waters ahead. Whenua had quickly explained what had happened before they all returned to their previous positions on the boat, leaving the Toa of Air with his thoughts. Just thinking about it caused him to shudder. He, the speed-loving trouble-making Toa-hero, another mere pawn of the Vahki. Not only ironic but humiliating, frightening, and slightly disturbing as well.
The cockpit door slamming caused him to jump about five feet into the air, knocked out of his thoughts by the sudden noise. Turning around, he saw Onewa chuckling quietly to himself. Resisting the urge to curse – loudly – he rolled his eyes, trying to concentrate on steering. "Hah ha. Goodjoke."
"Guess that means you're just fine," Onewa replied with just as much sarcasm. Matau opened his mouth, ready with several witty retorts, but decided against it. Instead, he stared into the dark tunnel ahead. Maybe if he ignored the Toa of Stone, he'd go away.
The said Toa, unfortunately, was not too fond of being ignored. Waiting quietly for a few minutes, he looked around, seeming to think. The silence bothered Matau. Right now, he'd even like hearing Vakama dreamshare. Finally, Onewa spoke.
"You know, while I was freeing you from the Vahki, I found something interesting in there."
Matau stiffened visibly. 'Please, please don't badsay it was the Gukko incident. Or the Ussal incident. Or-'
"What was that you were doing with Nokama?" Onewa snickered, fully recalling the thought he had found. Matau, however, slowly turned around, murder in his eyes.

Vakama and the other Toa looked up as there was a loud squeal, followed by the sound of metal hitting armor, coming from the cockpit.
"What is Matau doing?" Nuju asked coldly, annoyed by the sudden noises. Whenua looked both curious and a little fearful. Nokama, however, had noticed something important.
"Where is Onewa?" About half a second later, a battered Toa of Stone was forcibly thrown from the cockpit by a powerful gust of wind. Then, a new gust shut the door. The other four Toa were speechless. Finally, Whenua found his voice. "Um, Matau-?"
"He badneeded it!" shouted the Toa of Air.
