Chapter 357

I'm Going In

John's team reached the location where the two big trucks left from. This was their original objective. They carefully moved in on the building. Cameron's three Terminators joined his team. They consisted of one female he'd never seen before and two males. Both of the males he'd seen before as Ron and Ronny. The female said to call her Augusta and then changed her name to June.

The female was a Cameron program clone as well as the two males. John really wondered how many of 'Cameron' there were now. He did know that some of the other Terminators carried more than one program on their chip. He was worried that Cameron only seemed to trust 'herself' anymore. He felt she was isolating herself as Future John did. It was history repeating itself. If Cameron decided to become Skynet at some point, none of her Terminators would oppose her. They would all join her.

He knew Cameron was worried about all of their safety, especially his.

John wanted to enter the facility and 'shut it down' after they got a look inside. They needed to know what Skynet was up to. If it was Skynet related, it was 'bad news'.

Cameron's team of Terminators already intercepted their truck and drove it away, the driver was terminated. Cameron instructed them to take it away quickly.

Derek and Jim still followed the truck they intercepted. They wanted to see where it went.

John Henry watched Cameron's Terminators 'work'. They'd beat the destination out of the driver of the other truck before he was terminated. It all happened quickly. That way they possessed the truck, what was in it and where it was headed. He wanted to do that with the other one too.

"I think the other truck should be taken down now." John Henry said.

Derek didn't know that Cameron's team beat a confession out of the other driver.

"Maybe it will lead us to a bigger fish." Derek said. "There's something where it's headed."

John Henry didn't think Derek would order the Terminators with him to do what Cameron's Terminators did.

John followed the other operations through his com. He was worried about Derek's team.

"Be on the lookout for an ambush." John warned them.

John Henry felt they were covered.

"I have a drone with them." John Henry said.

John knew the other truck was in their custody. The drone with it might be able to be used elsewhere.

"What about the drone on the other truck?" John asked.

John Henry was worried about a counterattack.

"It's still tracking and watching for anything out of the ordinary. Skynet might try and take it back." John Henry said. "Cameron's crew checked for trackers and disabled any if they were there."

John wondered what the cargo was specifically.

"Do they know what's in the truck?" John asked. "I want to know what they're carrying."

John Henry thought they should have sent out a report. They probably did to Cameron's base and they didn't want to forward the information to him.

"They haven't elaborated on the cargo if they looked." John Henry said.

John returned his attention to where they were at. He didn't want to get off track worrying about other things. If they were detected, things were going to go hot fast. Right now things seemed calm.

"There's almost no activity at this location." John said.

John Henry detected nothing out of the ordinary either.

"I have the drone searching for anything around there and your team." John Henry said. "Something may turn up."

John wondered if the truck take down alerted the enemy to their presence. It was a possibility.

"I don't like it." John said. "I think it's a set up. Maybe we need to fallback."

As soon as John said that John Henry was updated by Cameron's base. He didn't think John would like the information.

"Cameron will be there soon." John Henry said. "She's on her way."

John was irritated now. Why couldn't Cameron let him do something for once? He let his annoyance be heard.

"That figures." John said sarcastically.

Bob didn't understand John's attitude. They still didn't know what they faced here. If there was an army of Terminators in there, things could do bad fast.

"There's no such thing as too much help if we run into enemy Metal." Bob said. "John, she worries about you."

John didn't look sold on the idea.

"Whatever." John said.

It started to irritate Bob when John complained about Cameron helping. That was her function, her job. He knew John knew this and it shouldn't be an issue. It was. He wondered if his attitude was actually about something else. He knew for Cameron it often was. He didn't want to argue the issue in the company of others.

"Affirmative." Bob said.

John looked at Bob when he said that and figured he was offended by what he'd said earlier.

"I know, Bob." John said. "There's already three of 'Cameron' here now."

There was a sense of motion behind them.

"Make it four." Cameron said as she walked up.

Cameron was disappointed with John's attitude. She'd heard his sarcasm as she walked up. It seemed the further they moved into the future, the less John understood it. John's refusal to accept the 'Natural Order' seemed to cloud his overall view. John wanted to alter or change history - the future. She wasn't about to let him. Hopefully Savannah's new sexual freedom would allow her to expand her sexual diet. Maybe it was time to put her in John's bed again. She could cut back with her sexual favors for a few weeks. That would make John more receptive to Savannah's advances if she stepped them up. Right now she needed to deal with the location where they were at. She'd deal with the problems that John created later on.

Previously Bob asked Cameron about all the 'clones'. Cameron told him she didn't want to risk anyone unnecessarily except herself. She also said she was expendable.

"You have copies of all our programs." Bob said. "If one of us is terminated, we can be rebodied with a different chassis."

"I don't want anyone getting hurt because I'm not doing enough to protect John and the future." Cameron said.

Bob knew Cameron was obsessed with protecting everyone. He was pleased that she was here now and there were 'four' of her. It would make his task to protect John easier.

John needed to think where this was headed now that Cameron was here. He didn't think she would listen to him and would use less caution if he said anything. Perhaps it was time to just flatten the place and figure it out later on.

"Maybe we should just hit the building with the drone now." John said.

Cameron looked at John with contempt. She didn't like that he'd changed the plan just because she'd arrived. She took it as a personal insult. It was time to bypass John and get the job done.

"No." Cameron said. "I'm going in."

Bob didn't think Cameron should go in alone. He could tell she was upset now. There were still three other Terminators here to look after John.

"I'll go with you." Bob said.

Cameron looked at John and the new female Terminator.

"No." Cameron said. "I want you here with John. Julia, will remain here with John also."

John just heard a third name for the female Terminator. He was even more confused. Maybe there was more in play here than he knew.

"I thought her name was, June or Augusta." John said.

Cameron was further irritated that John questioned her about the female Terminator. She already picked a name but was reluctant to use it in front of him. She wanted to see if he could figure it out on his own.

"I haven't determined her designation yet." Cameron said. "Don't worry about it. Just do as you're instructed to do. The culmination of her name is beautiful."

John didn't care for the rebuke. He thought about what Cameron said about the new female's name. He thought it sounded like three the months of – summer.

The true impact of that went over his head.

"It looks like the truck made us." Derek came over the com.

That was sure to be bad news. If there wasn't a warning sent out before. There was now. It was probably about to hit the fan.

Cameron would pull the drone coverage off of her Terminators with the other big rig for now.

"Send the second drone to their location." Cameron said. "I'm sending the fourth drone to take the place of the second drone."

John Henry already sent the fourth drone when Bob said he would go with Cameron. That changed but the drone was already headed to the target zone.

The drone over the building was at a high altitude but was able to spot some movement through one of the skylights. Something moved inside the building. What it was, was indeterminable as of yet.

"The fourth drone is on its way." John Henry said. "I've detected activity inside the building. It looks like something is about to happen….

Everyone could tell this was going to be bad news.

Vanna walked towards Savannah, she could see Savannah looked happy. That was something she hadn't seen in a long time. It appeared that going to Australia changed all that, at least while they were there. She knew Cameron orchestrated the 'union' of Young Jesse and Savannah in Australia. She didn't like it but Savannah was a young woman now. She understood the needs a woman felt. She also felt there were a lot worse ways to be 'sexually educated'. The up side was any 'Jesse' was Hot. She imagined a young 'Jesse' would be really Hot in bed. Then again she lacked experience. Experience made a big difference. It determined if someone could get you 'there' or not.

She noticed Savannah was with Cameron. Cameron looked really Tight. Savannah touched Cameron's face as they played around and giggled. They looked very close. They looked like - lovers.

Wait.

'Something is off here.' Vanna thought.

She looked closer at 'Cameron'. This was all wrong.

"What's going on here?" Vanna demanded.

Savannah hadn't noticed Vanna arrive. She'd been focused on Cammy. She thought Vanna looked a little upset.

"Hi, Vanna, this is - Cammy." Savannah said.

Cammy? Who was Cammy? Vanna knew Savannah called Cameron 'Cammy' sometimes. It was Savannah's 'pet' name for her.

Then it hit her. It landed on her like a ton of bricks. This was all wrong. At this point it was clear that Cammy was a new 'Cameron clone'. A clone of Cameron that she'd created for Savannah. She immediately became more upset.

"She didn't." Vanna said angrily. "How dare her. What's going on exactly?"

Savannah felt a little affronted. It seemed Vanna was angry at Cameron or her for Cammy's creation. What was the big deal? She was defensive now and wanted Vanna to know things already happened. What was done was done.

"Cameron did and…." Savannah looked at Cammy then back to Vanna. "…We have…."

Savannah wanted to move her life ahead. She was tired of nothing but 'herself'. There were times she'd pleasured herself twenty times a day sometimes when she'd been so frustrated. Her hormones were very active and she needed more than 'herself'. There were times when she wondered if Cameron hadn't accelerated her development process. If that was what Cameron did, she was glad.

Vanna understood what was done and all the implications. Savannah would be sexually active from now on. This was probably Cameron's doing to get Savannah into John's bed. At some point in time Cammy wouldn't be enough. She at least didn't think Savannah should have a 'full time lover'. Not at her age anyway. It sure seemed like Savannah 'grew up' fast. She didn't develop that quickly. Maybe it was because of her poor nutrition.

"I don't agree with this." Vanna said.

Cam was nearby and heard a discussion that seemed the get a little heated and tense. She walked up and stood beside Vanna.

Savannah looked at Cam and Vanna.

"Really? You don't agree with what I have now?" Savannah asked. "Look next to you. What do you see?"

Vanna did look. She noticed the two clones look at each other. She realized that Savannah and her were the same!

Cam and Cammy looked at each other. It was a toss up which one was Tighter.

"It would appear history actually does repeat itself." Cammy said.

Cam eyed Cammy, Vanna and Savannah.

"Apparently." Cam said.

Vanna was irritated by everyone complicity. This was a serious matter. It was going to change or at least bend Savannah's future. She didn't like how the two clones acted towards them right now.

"You two - take off." Vanna said to Cam and Cammy. "I want to talk to Savannah alone."

Cammy didn't like Vanna's aggressive behavior right now. She looked at Savannah who nodded at her. That was Savannah's indication that everything was OK. She still wanted to give Vanna a reminder of the reality of the situation.

"Just remember you're talking to 'yourself'." Cammy said as Cam and her started to walk away. "YOURSELF."

Cam wasn't sure what the real issue was here. This seemed like a lot of drama over nothing.

"What's good for the goose…." Cam said.

Cammy could see Cam was on the same page as her.

"Is good for the gander…." Cammy responded.

They were about to 'high five' each other.

Vanna glared at them and then back to Savannah.

The moved on without the 'high five'.

Savannah didn't like Vanna to 'attack' her. She hadn't done anything 'wrong'. She hadn't done anything different than anyone else.

"I expected this treatment from Sarah." Savannah said. "Not from you."

Vanna was surprised to hear that.

"Sarah knows?" Vanna asked.

Savannah was very pleased with that encounter. Sarah gave her a lot of support and an indication she'd done the same things, more or less.

"Yes. Cameron asked for her to 'understand'." Savannah said.

Vanna wasn't sure what that was supposed to mean.

"Understand what?" Vanna asked.

Savannah felt she'd sacrificed enough already. Why couldn't she have what everyone else shared? She believed her actions and choices were justified.

"That I'm a young adult. That I'm lonely and I need someone too." Savannah said. "Vanna, I'm all - alone. I too have feelings, desires, wants and 'needs'."

Vanna looked at Savannah for the longest time. She ran it all through her mind. This was what was best for Savannah. She walked over and hugged her.

"I'm sorry." Vanna said. "I didn't want you to grow up…."

Savannah knew there were a lot worse ways to grow up. This was all very controlled and safe. It may have been 'arranged' but it was what everyone wanted. Everyone was able to make a choice.

"Too late." Savannah said. "I've only recently caught the physical activity up to the mental activity. This has been a long time – coming."

Vanna drew Savannah in closer and cried. She never wanted to let her go. She knew Cammy would never let what happened to her ever happen to Savannah…. She knew Cameron did this to protect Savannah. It was a good thing, even if she didn't want Savannah to 'grow up'. She cried harder with joy to know that a group of men would never hold Savannah down and take turns, over and over and over….

Derek was worried they'd been made. Something needed to happen soon before the enemy could come up with a plan or counter attack.

"What about the truck?" Derek came across the com.

John Henry thought the best choice was to disengage there were drones on the scene now. They still hoped to find out where that truck was headed.

"Let the truck go and we will follow it with a drone. I have two of them on it." John Henry said. "If the truck stops; send in the Terminators."

Cameron was worried for Derek's safety now. It looked like that surveillance operation was about to go hot.

"Jim is to remain with Derek at all times." Cameron said. "I want Derek protected if it falls apart."

Nobody wanted to argue with Cameron.

"Roger." Derek said. "Caution will come first."

Cameron turned her attention back to where she was.

"What about the building?" Cameron asked. "I need to know more."

John Henry viewed all the drone images. The activity seemed confined to one area inside the building.

"There appears to be some activity going on the northwest corner." John Henry said.

Cameron knew there was only one option left. Skynet activity here could be about to ramp up. She needed to know what else was in that building and what they were doing.

"I'm going in." Cameron said.

Ron and Ronny checked their weapons.

"We will accompany you." Ron said.

Cameron looked at Summer, Bob and John. There could be Terminators here.

"No." Cameron said. "I can do it alone. You two stay with John, Bob and her."

John wouldn't have that. Cameron should have help. He laid out the reality of what was going to happen.

"Cameron, I want at least one of them to go with you or I will go myself." John said. "I'm not fooling around."

Cameron glared at John. Why did he have such trouble understanding the future? He even had the nerve to say she was 'dense'! Did he think she'd forgotten that dig or any of the others, especially when he was with that 'Bitch Whore' Riley? She didn't want to start to glitch before combat.

"Fine. Ron, you come with me." Cameron said.

Bob didn't like to see Cameron endangered.

"We all worry about you, Cameron." Bob said. "We care. You are not the only one who cares about others."

Cameron knew Bob spoke for all of them. She also found out previously that Bob was the first Terminator that offered his power cell to blast Duplicate Cameron out of her 'tomb'. He offered to give up his existence for 'Cameron', for her. She KNEW they all cared. She didn't understand why she didn't feel this way about herself.

"That's understood." Cameron said. "Let's go."

Ronny waited until Cameron and Cam departed.

"I'll take up a flanking position." Ronny said.

John looked apprehensive.

"Is that wise?" John asked.

That wasn't what Cameron 'ordered'.

"I'm Cameron too, John." Ronny said. "I know what I can get away with….. I know what I can do if it falls apart too."

John wanted Cameron protected.

"Do it." John said.

Ronny went to move out.

Cameron and Ron were gone less than a minute when something new developed.

"I have movement off to the side." Cameron said. "Ron is on it. I'm going in - alone…."

Ronny took off at a run.

John looked at the two Terminators with him. He figured only Bob would listen to him.

"If things get hot, I need you to go down and help them out, Bob." John said.

Bob looked at the female Terminator.

"Affirmative." Bob said. "I'll go after Cameron."

John looked at her too.

"I'll still have plenty of protection." John said. "'Cameron' is here with me…."

I'm Going In

Invisible walls in one's life
Block them from many things
Everything they reach out for
Seems to be attached with strings

Without any doubt at all
There's absolutely no free ride
Everything comes with a price
Even if the true cost can hide

Sooner or later or even now
The toll will come due
Everyone needs to pay the Piper
Or the interest continues to accrue

So what does one do to exist
If nothing is done there is nothing
The long term effects of that
Can be degrading and quite crushing

Eventually everyone rolls the dice
To want to be loved isn't a sin
No one ever really thinks twice
As they say, 'I'm going in'

Nobody
