Day 48: Moonday the 5th, Neth, 4707

So begins what I expect to be a fairly normal schedule for me back here in Sandpoint. I wake up with my animatronic alarm clock asking me for her new orders, which I telepathically provide, very shortly before Savah is going to wake up. I make her breakfast and bring it to her. We eat breakfast together, get clean up and get dressed, magically mending any issues with our clothing or gear, and both go to our respective days. Savah works the Armory, selling what she can at her prices, while I go deliver parts to the worksite, pay them for the day's work that they are about to put in, and try to scrounge up any extra resources or spells from allied personnel to get this made faster or better.

Today, I had a chance to drop by the Sandpoint Cathedral, to see how Dame Rebekah and Chelger were doing. Apparently, they had been about to head out to Destrier Manor with the carpenters from Magnimar, when one fell down the stairs at the White Deer. Dame Rebekah had rushed them to the Cathedral and managed to save them, but they would not be able to perform their duties today. I told them that I felt sorry for them, and that I hoped that this was the only bad luck that they had on their jobsite, and that it was the last hurrah of the house. Dame Rebekah noted that she and Chelger had gone and banished the evil presence of the house yesterday, so she hoped that it was too.

I came back and started work on Shalelu's bike, intending on finishing it today. Veronica worked on her pile of fittings and bath room facilities. She was making quite the progress, and I expect that I would have to have her start on the workshop's gear next. For lunch, I broke off from working on the bike to go get food from the Hagfish. I had to pass by Ven's General Store, and noticed that he was outside, instructing a young man in how to run his store. He didn't pay me any mind. I hope that this is over between him and I.

I picked up Savah's favorite meal from the Hagfish and brought it back to her. We ate in her store, telling each other how our day had gone so far. She told me about her sales, and I told her about the bike I was working on. We would kiss goodbye, then I would get back to the shop and start work again. Vaeren was tooling away on his bike, absolutely marveling at how fast I would manage to put the ones I was working on together. I would work for a few hours more before giving Veronica her orders and going to tell Savah that I was planning on going to visit the worksite. She came and visited with me today, and we could see that Aesrick had a very competent team there, working on the building.

I would drop off goods that he needed for the completion of and specific room, and he would give me a list for what he needed for the next room. If there were any questions, he was straight forward and would ask them, and I would give him all of the information that I could. If he needed follow-up questions, he would ask them and I would get him the answers. Apparently, the reason why a lot of my designs were not as feasible were because I was used to much closer tolerances for lumber and other building materials than he was normally able to acquire, what with the only sawmill being Titus'.

Then Savah and I would take a leisurely drive through Sandpoint and take a break somewhere, today it was the beach. We laid down on the beach and relaxed as the tip of the surf washed over our feet. After this, we went back to the Armory and got ready for dinner. Arika and Oren had made dinner for the crew tonight, but James had said that he was going to eat elsewhere. Our two couples, Arika and Oren, and Savah and myself, all ate our decent meal and talked about the future and our plans. All in all, today was a very good day, and I hope that there will be many more like it.

Savah and I retired and I gave Veronica her marching orders. She scanned my memories for what was needed and said that she would get right on it. Savah had taken to noticing the short seconds when Veronica was communicating with me and would tease me a little, about how my tongue would stick out a little while I was thinking hard. I smiled and told her that it was an old habit. We would settle together in bed, and I would update my journal. Today was a good day.
