Angel: To the person who asked me about ROTTMNT, technically I'm not done with it, I'm just waiting for the dang movie to come out and it hasn't! The Loud House Movie came out, and Netflix is gonna stream the Green Lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds, and yet the ROTTMNT movie hasn't even had an update in months. Seriously, there is no trailer, no art, nada. Zip. We haven't heard anything about the movie since like March. I can't really properly send off the show if they haven't released the stupid film. Nah, it's not stupid, it's just annoying that we've gotten no news in like 5 months now.

And I'm not done with the TMNT franchise as a whole either. But yeah, that's my update on the franchise right now; still haven't gotten the movie yet. Not to mention that the...Mud Dogs, almost blanked on their name, only appeared in one episode, and in that episode, Loathsome Leonard had a crush on Amy, which she clearly did not reciprocate XDD So there you go, he had a love interest, didn't work out for him.

Also yeah, it's late, but I only had one day off from work the entire week, so don't question it please.

The wind was blowing in Knothole, leaves flying by. By the lake was a water wheel, where Toro was working on something. Bunnie came over with a toolbox in hand. "Here y'all go, Rotor." She placed it down next to him.

"Thanks, Bunnie," He told her gratefully.

"Welcome, ah'm sure." She pulled out a compactor and looked at herself, and screamed. This was because her ears were now a total mess. "Ah'm a walking disaster!" She tried and failed to adjust her frizzy ears, because they fell back down. "Y'all wanna hurry up here, Rotor? All this dampness is frizzin' my ears."

Sophia and Sally walked over, with the chipmunk holding a wrench in her hand.

"This is the biggest wrench I could find, Rotor," Sally informed him. Sophia glanced at Bunnie and gasped sharply.

"Bunnie, your ears!"

"I know, sugar-darling, it's the dampness! How do you do it?" Bunnie pointed to the alien.

"Well, I did live in space, so we didn't live in humidity..." Sophia shrugged sheepishly, stepping forward. "But here, let me help you." She took out a ribbon from her pocket and stood in front of Bunnie, adjusting her ears upwards. She then tied it into a neat bow. "There, how's that?"

Bunnie picked up her compact that she dropped from the floor and smiled. "I look cute as a peach, darlin'! Thank you."

Sophia smiled back at her.

"You know, if we use a bigger gear here, we could double the power output," Rotor spoke up, referring ot the water wheel.

"I bet you're right," Sally agreed and took out Nicole from her boot. "Nicole, search data bank for entry "water wheel."

"One entry qualifies, Sally."

She pressed it...and got a hologram of a flower, to her confusion.

"Wha?" Sally recalled the hologram. "Nicole, a water wheel."

"One entry qualifies." However, this time, when Sally brought up the hologram, it was of a chili dog.

"Oh, no, I was afraid of this."

"Somebody's got that old chili dog feelin' again!" Sonic rushed over to a stop and licked his lips at the hologram. Sophia snickered at him. She learned a while back that Sonic absolutely loved anything to do with chili dogs. He tried to get her to try one, but the others insisted that she didn't need to, so she wasn't sure if they were anything good. But she did know if she came across one, she'd stay clear of it.

"No, Sonic. Nicole is malfunctioning," Sally tapped Nicole against her hand.

"A chili dog is NO malfunction, Sal," Sonic remarked to her.

"Nicole, run diagnostic level 4B."

"Running...sub-microprocessor chip 16 has a fatal error," Nicole reported back.

"Is that bad?" The hedgehog asked in confusion, earning a frustrated growl.

"Did that answer the question?" Sophia questioned back knowingly, hands behind her back. Sonic glanced up at her.

"Loud and clear..."

Later on that night, Sonic, Sally, and Sophia were in the streets of Robotropolis. A Swat-bot flew right past them as Sonic lifted up the manhole cover. He glanced around to make sure that the security was gone.

"It's cool," He reported back to the girls. He jumped out and pulled the two out into the open. The trio ran over to a pile of things, peeking out to see two Swat-bots guarding a door. Another one walked up to the door and it opened, letting the robot in. It then closed and the three jumped onto the ground.

"Ready?" Sally asked the duo.

"Ready and steady," The three then did a handshake, giving themselves two thumbs up.

"Let's do it to it!" They chanted in unison. The two robots stood there until Sophia and Sonic ran up to them.

"Yo, heavy metal heads! Wanna play tag? Yer it!"

"Come and get us!" Sophia blew a raspberry while wiggling her fingers near her head. The two then took off, giving each other a high-five as the robots fell for it. They chased after the speedy duo, leaving Sally alone with the door.

"Now or never, Sally-girl..." She encouraged herself before running through the open door right before it closed. Inside was a factory as the Swat-bots were assembling things. Sally peeked behind a structure and then hid behind another one. A Swat-bot then walked right past her and she ran for the assembly line. She looked at what they were assorting and gasped. She then grabbed a few chips from one.

"Yes!" She cheered, which turned into a gasp as she saw a robot standing right in front of her. "Oh, hi! I was just leaving..." She backed away sheepishly, and it was already too late as an alarm sounded. It was so loud it made her hair frizz for a second. "Aah! I hate when they do that!"

Sophia and Sonic ran back to the door after losing the robots, finding the door closed with no one else around. The hedgehog glanced around in worry.

"Come on, Sal; where ya at?" He looked at his watch.

"Sally can take care of herself, Sonic. We have to trust her," Sophia defended, and he gave her a blank look.

"Oh really?"

"Yes," She placed her hands on her hips. "What's with that look?"

"Oh nothing, except for the fact that Sally doesn't have super speed."

She rolled her eyes at that argument and before she could say anything else, a laser fired between the two of them. They yelped and looked up to see the same two robots who found them. "Don't they ever get tired? Whoa!" He sped up his feet and took off, Sophia running after them.

"Clearly not!"

He then gasped up ahead, skidding to a stop to see ships fly past. "Huh?"

"The Swat ships didn't even know we were here...unless something happened to Sally!" Sophia glanced behind her.

"Sal can take care of herself, huh?" Sonic mocked and she glared at him.

"Sonic, not now!"

Sally ran out of the room and out the door. A Swat-bot camera saw her and followed after her. She walked towards a new area, reading the sign.

"Forbidden Zone?" She murmured in confusion. She gasped and looked behind her as a Swat-bot was on her tail. She took off towards the Forbidden Zone to get the robot off her tail. Once she was in, she looked ahead and was surprised to see a run-down area, more so than Robotropolis was now. Things were unkept and broken down, and definitely wasn't riddled with robots. She ran off again as the Swat-bot was still on her tail.

Robotnik and Snively could both see her from the Hover Unit following her. "Send more Hover Units, Snively."

"Yes sir, Dr. Robotnik," He pressed a button to call more.

"I want the Princess."

Sally continued running, looking over her shoulder. She looked up ahead and gasped as she came to a stop, seeing a cloaked figure in front of her. She yelped and turned to go the other way, only to be blocked off by a Swat-bot. The cloaked figure fired a laser and she ducked, allowing the laser to hit the bot behind her. The Swat-bot then completely disappeared out of thin air. Sally backed away from the person, who walked right past her and didn't acknowledge her either.

"Who was that?" Robotnik demanded, pointing to the mysterious savior.

"I really don't know, sir," Snively shrugged in confusion. "I'll find out." He then started searching from the control panel.

Sally was walking around the Forbidden Zone, a bit exhausted as she was lost. She wiped off the top of her forehead, only to be grabbed by the shoulder from behind. She yelped, turning around to see both Sonic and Sophia standing there.

"You okay, Sal?" He asked her quietly.

"Yes," She answered in relief. "Let's get out of here." She grabbed their hands and took off with them, causing them to yelp in surprise.

They returned back to Knothole, where they had told them everything that happened.

"What in Heaven's name do you suppose that cloaked thing was?" Bunnie asked, her, Sally, Sonic, Sophia, and Rotor in one of the cottages.

Sally tapped a few buttons from Nicole and then looked up. "It was the Guardian."

"Who's the Guardian?" Rotor wondered curiously.

"More like 'what.' According to legend, he watches over the resting place of Lazaar." She went back to Nicole.

"What's Lazaar?" Sonic asked next.

"Not what; who," She corrected him and he scratched the top of his head in confusion.

"Who is what?"

In Robotnik's lair, his screens changed to the Forbidden Zone. "The evil wizard, Lazaar, has rested for centuries within the Forbidden Zone. Although many have attempted to recover his computer of magic spells, none have succeeded," Snively recited to him.

"Hmm. Go on."

Cluck, Robotnik's robotic pet bird, landed on the control panel.

"According to legend, Lazaar awaits someone vile enough to awaken him," Snively swatted away the robot bird, turning back around to Robotnik.

"Vile?" Robotnik pressed his hands together.

"That would be you, sir," Snively pointed at him with a smile and Robotnik grinned evilly.

Sonic tapped his foot, getting impatient with Sally. Sophia was standing nearby as they were at the Lake of Rings. He wanted to get Lazaar's computer, hence waiting for a ring, but Sally wholeheartedly disagreed with that plan.

"Forget it, Sonic; it's too risky!"

"C'mon, Sal! Lazaar's magic spells could really kick some Robuttnik tail!" He pointed out to her, clenching a fist.

"But you might wake Lazaar!" She argued back, hands on her hips.

"Moi?" Sonic gestured to himself innocently. "Faster than lightning, quieter than a mouse...I'm there and back before you know I'm even gone!" He then snapped a finger and she crossed her arms, sighing in frustration. She turned to the pink-haired alien girl.

"Soph, help me!"

"While I don't agree on the quieter than a mouse aspect," She started off, earning a pout from Sonic. "Perhaps there is a chance that this Lazaar's spells could be a great help against Robotnik, Sal. And it's definitely better than him getting his hands on that computer."

"Good point, but will you be serious for a minute, Sonic?" She turned back to him.

"Thirty seconds is my limit..." He looked at a watch and Sophia pinched her nose.

"One day you'll learn that speed is no substitute for common sense," Sally pointed at the hedgehog in annoyance, who was whistling lowly.

"Time's up!" Sally crossed her arms at him and he stepped forward. "Snooze, ya loose; gotta cruise!" He lifted up himself and started up his legs.

"Sorry, Sal," Sophia shrugged sheepishly at her. "As you guys say, it's 2 to 1 on this one," She walked up to Sonic, pressing her hands to the dirt.

"Be careful, you guys!" She called out to them.

"It's magic time!" When Sonic took off, flames followed.

"Bye Sally!" Sophia went after him and Sally sighed lightly.

"Boys..."

Snively stepped out of the Forbidden Zone from the entrance, meeting Robotnik at his ship. "I've found him, Dr. Robotnik."

"Then where is he?" Robotnik asked, petting Cluck on the beak.

"Well, he was right-" The Guardian suddenly arrived behind Snively before he could reveal the location.

"Why have you summoned me?" He growled out to Robotnik.

"A little business proposition, my dear Guardian; one you might find rewarding," He started off.

"I have no use for riches," The Guardian denied, about to leave.

"Well, another kind of deal then. I, uh, I want the location of Lazaar's lair. Name your price," He smiled evilly and the Guardian walked back over to him.

"You intend harm to my master?" His eyes glowed red in protectiveness.

"Oh, you wound me, my dear Guardian," Robotnik waved an innocent hand, obviously hiding the fact that he was there for Lazaar's spells solely. "I merely want to wake the grand wizard and honor his evilness. We have much in common."

"Yes, I can see that," The Guardian remarked, turning back to the entrance. He then used his laser eyes on it to reveal the Forbidden Zone from a holographic map. "You must enter the Forbidden Zone. Go alone," Robotnik nodded in agreement. "For only your metallic heart is evil enough to withstand the dangers. You...have been warned."

The clouds moved away as Robotnik arrived in the Forbidden Zone. He turned to his Swat-bots, who had stepped out of the ship behind him. He pointed forward up ahead; of course he'd check to see if there were traps.

"Proceed."

One stepped forward and as soon as the robot got onto the bridge, a claw from the water underneath grabbed it. Robotnik watched as the robot kicked off the claw and continued. But then the door came to life and swallowed up the robot.

"Hmm."

He walked onto the path, unscathed, and when he reached the entrance, it opened up for him. He walked in and went down a tunnel.

Sonic and Sophia arrived at the entrance to the Forbidden Zone, sliding to a stop. "Well...this is it," Sophia glanced down at him. "You ready to sneak past a wizard?"

"Ready as you are, Soph." They did the Freedom Fighter handshake.

"Let's do it to it!" The two gave each other thumbs up and then sped inside. They came across the same entrance that Robotnik went through.

"That is one ugly condo!" The hedgehog remarked and Sophia rubbed her chin.

"Well, he was evil previously, wasn't he? Maybe he had a certain taste in his past..."

"Good point," Sonic shook his head. "Juice and jam time!" The duo sped past all the creatures wanting to grab them, going over to the door. Sophia's ear tilted and she looked up.

"Sonic, look!"

He gasped as he realized that the door was about to close.

"Whoa!" They managed to speed inside just before the door closed off. They came to a stop in the dark cave, a bright light flashing in front of them. "Whoa! Here's another nice mess!" There were three different paths in front of them, and they had no way of knowing which path was the right one. And all of them didn't look very safe because of the various obstacles in the doorways. "Which way? What's a hedgehog and alien princess to do...?" He looked between the three paths. "Do we wanna get diced, charred, or crushed?"

"I'd say...none," Sophia crossed her arms, clicking her teeth in defeat. "But we have to pick at least one to find the computer, don't we?"

"That's about right," He agreed with her. "Hmm...this is a tough one." The Guardian stood right behind the two and Sophia flinched as she sensed him. His eyes glowed red as he threatened to use them against the duo.

"Sonic, look out!"

"Huh?" Sonic looked up after bracing himself from the flames. He stepped back a few feet and then jumped up from the lasers. "Hey, watch it!" He yelped as he hopped from a hole appearing in the floor. Sophia fired back her own lasers, only for them to be deflected against her and she ducked her head. Sonic glanced behind him at one of the traps as he was almost close to touching it. The Guardian continued attacking them and they sped out of the way multiple times, getting past all the dangers from the doorways. "Man! This guy has an attitude! Triple-S time!"

The two rolled up into a ball and sped around, knocking the Guardian off his feet. They made a hole and escaped through the wall.

"Yes!" The two cheered, high-fiving each other in victory.

Robotnik opened a door to a room where Lazaar was sleeping. He walked up to the wizard encased in some sort of pod. Robotnik looked to his right and saw a floating crystal in some shield of sorts, where it had these pink attachments to it.

"Since you won't be needing this anymore..." He reached forward and took the computer into his hands. Lights started flashing and he stepped back, looking again to Lazaar. "Sleep well, old boy."

The duo stopped immediately as they came across a broken bridge, seeing that there was a river awaiting them should they fall.

"Whoa!" He exclaimed as Sophia panicked a little and held Sonic's shoulder, pulling him back a bit. Then they ducked from a flying mace over their heads, looking up to see weapons swinging back and forth above them. "Piece of cake! Let's see if you can keep up, Soph!" He leaped forward and grabbed the mace, holding onto it as he jumped forward and grabbed the axe next. He looked back at the next one as he swung backwards, holding out his hand. The gears holding the weapons turned and he got onto the next one. But then it broke off and he gasped as he fell, breaking the bridge apart. He held onto some planks, watching some of it fall. "Nice bridge."

Sophia came out of hiding from the doorway, running forward and reaching out for his hand. "Huh?!" He looked back between the weapons and her. "How-"

"You never said I couldn't fly," She smirked, gesturing to her wings still on display.

"Alright, I'll let you have this one, Soph. But don't think it's gonna be a recurring thing," He warned her playfully.

"I didn't think it would," She remarked with a hum as he took her hand and she pulled him up. They sped into the hallway.

Back in Knothole, Rotor was still adjusting the water wheel.

"Cool. Now tighten that screw, Bunnie," He told her, Sally not really paying attention as she was holding a hammer. She handed it to Bunnie.

"Sally, screwdriver please," Bunnie stated, but didn't get a response as she looked in surprise at the tool that wasn't a screwdriver. "My, my. I do declare Sally-girl; your mind is anywhere but-!"

"Sorry," Sally told her sincerely, looking at the ground. She then turned around to her friends. "I'm worried about Sonic and Soph. If they wake Lazaar..."

"Now, don't worry yourself none. That little sugar-hog and darling are too quick for some sleepy wizard," Bunnie smiled optimistically. "And you know he wouldn't let anything happen to little ol' Soph. He's always looking out for her, ya know."

"I hope you're right, Bunnie," Sally frowned a bit, still concerned for them.

Next, the duo faced a floor that was covered in lasers.

"Nothing's easy anymore," Sonic stated as Sophia picked up a stray rock, and when she threw it, the rock sparked up and exploded. The two gasped at this. "Barbecued hedgehog is not my idea of fun."

"Or fried aliens," Sophia looked away briefly.

"Crusin' and brusin' time!" They sped right above the lasers and got up the staircase that was on the other side of the room.

Snively and Robotnik were walking back into the ship, with Snively holding the computer. He placed it onto the control panel.

"Activate it, Snively."

"Yes, sir," Snively pressed a button that was facing him.

"Enter command or I for spell index," The computer spoke up.

"The index, Snively; quickly," Robotnik snarled a bit, getting a little impatient.

"Amulets, banishments, bones, cages, curses..." The computer started reciting, and it gave him a bunch of ideas to use in the future.

"What a lovely variety," He smirked at all the possibilities and...potential from all those spells.

Sophia and Sonic found Lazaar's room, tiptoeing inside. However, Lazaar was no longer in the spot where Robotnik left him. They walked past the empty bed, when suddenly a large yellow light manifested behind them.

"Huh?"

"What is this?!" Sophia exclaimed as they flinched in surprise. Lazaar magically appeared in front of the duo.

"More thieves it is! My computer they come to steal," He snarled at them.

"Who, us? No, no, no, no; we just took a wrong turn, so we'll be crusin'," Sonic walked around him nervously, and he pointed his hand at them. He trapped both of them into a bubble, trapping them both. They looked up at him nervously.

"Fast not so, little thieves!" He put his hands on his hips, thinking that they snuck in to get his computer. And...technically, they were, but he wasn't supposed to be awake either.

"Hey! Let us out of here!" Sonic pushed against the bubble.

"We're not here to steal your computer!" Sophia insisted to him, using her laser eyes against the bubble. She ducked her head as it ricocheted all around the bubble before eventually hitting her in the arm. "Ow!" She held her arm in pain.

"Soph!" Sonic gasped at her.

"I'm okay," She assured him.

Robotnik paced around as he had heard all kinds of spells, but he hadn't found the one he was looking for quite yet. So they had been listening to the index for a good solid 10 to 15 minutes now.

"Ravens, rings, submission, slavery, teleports..."

"Oh, that's it," Robotnik whipped around immediately. "Teleports. Exactly what I need."

"Name target."

"Sonic. The Hedgehog. Princess Sophia of Xenia," Robotnik stated while holding Cluck.

"Targets out of range. Name target."

"Princess Sally," He grinned evilly.

A hologram of Sally appeared from the computer once it located her image, shocking Snively because it was so accurate.

"Confirm target."

"Affirmative." Sally then manifested from the hologram and into the ship, faster than Sonic or Sophia even.

"What happened?" She murmured in confusion, since she was just at Knothole and then suddenly disappeared. "Where...?" She tensed up as soon as she saw Robotnik and Snively.

"Take her!" Robotnik ordered his Swat-bots, who stepped forward.

"Robotnik...!" She stepped back in horror. She then took off into a run to get away from the Swat-bot.

"Stop her!"

Cluck flew right past his master and flew over Sally.

"Gah! Get out of my face, Cluck!" She waved him away, distracted long enough for the Swat-bot to grab her by her arms. She struggled within its grip, but failed to get herself free.

"So nice of you to drop by, Princess," Robotnik greeted as he stepped up to her. She grunted as she pulled at her arms, eventually giving up to glare up at him.

"How did you do this, Robotnik?!" She hissed in demand.

"Oh, let's just say it's...it's magic," He casually answered with a shrug, but she knew better.

"You found Lazaar's computer, didn't you?" Sally guessed correctly.

"I cannot tell a lie, Princess, I did. Secure her," He pointed to the floor, where two holes appeared. Then metal fasteners appeared to capture her legs in place. "A princess needs her lady-in-waiting, wouldn't you say, Snively?"

"Oh, yes, sir. Absolutely," Snively agreed, hands behind his back. Robotnik waved a hand in front of the computer, reveling in the power from it.

"Name target."

"Bunnie Rabbot." Bunnie was then brought into the lair to Sally's shock, in the same way that she appeared.

"What the heck happened?" The bunny robot hybrid glanced around in confusion.

"Bunnie, run. RUN!" Sally called out in a panic. Bunnie flipped and kicked down a Swat-bot. Robotnik ran over to try and grab her, but she flipped past him and landed in front of her friend. She bent down and attempted to set her free. "Bunnie, just go. Go!" Sally frowned in concern, Bunnie glaring up at their foes.

"You all should learn how to treat a lady!" She scolded them.

"Stun her!" Robotnik pointed and a Swat-bot held up a stun gun. It hit Bunnie with it and she screeched, landing on the ground unconscious. Sally then glared at Robotnik, furious that the weapon was used on her friend.

"You are a miserable creep, Robotnik!" She declared angrily as the Swat-bots gathered around to restrain Bunnie.

"Why thank you, Princess," He bowed slightly in acknowledgement, taking her statement as a compliment.

Lazaar paced around the two, who watched him closely. The wizard started shaking, with yellow sparks coming from him. Sophia raised a brow in confusion at his reaction.

"Using the magic he is," He stated and the speedy duo glanced at each other.

"Who's using the magic?" Sonic asked curiously.

"I know not his name, but evil he is. Pure evil!" Lazaar clenched a fist.

"Then it's Robotnik!" Sonic seethed, his hands fists as well.

"With your computer, he'll doom us all!" Sophia gestured to the area. "The world, our friends, our families, all of them are in danger now! Sonic, we have to do something," She looked down at him in worry.

"You don't have to tell me twice," He remarked to her statement.

"Evil I was once..." Lazaar stepped in front of them, getting their attention. "But dreamed for centuries I did. Hmm, regret the evil, I do."

"Cool. So let us outta here," Sonic told him.

"If you truly regret all your past actions, then you have to understand that deep down, you don't want this," Sophia added in, her eyes a bit sad.

"Release you? Why?" Lazaar bent down to them.

"So we can stop Robotnik. Like you said, he's totally evil. No telling what he'll do with your magic," The hedgehog answered in determination, driven to save the world and their friends.

"Exactly! He kidnapped and brought me to this world for his own selfish gain," Sophia gestured to herself. "That proves he's pure evil! He doesn't care about anything but his own rule."

Lazaar took a moment to think about it, rubbing his chin. The two glanced at each other again, worried that he'd let them be trapped forever. "Promise first, you must." Sophia turned to him in shock, her mouth open that he was actually listening to them.

"Sure, anything. What?" Sonic nodded in agreement.

"Find my computer. Return it you shall," Lazaar stood up, pointing at them.

"We promise. Now let us out."

"Our own friends might be in trouble right now. I wouldn't put it past Robotnik," Sophia scrunched up her nose. She would assume the first thing Robotnik would do with the computer was use it against the Freedom Fighters. What exactly, she hoped she wouldn't find out.

They watched as Lazaar took out a belt, pressed a button, and then suddenly they were free from the bubble.

"Yeah! Thanks. It's juice and jam time!" Just before they could go, Lazaar pressed a button and Sonic held his head.

"Sonic!" Sophia said in worry, flying over him. Lazaar pressed another button from the belt and the girl's wings were suddenly gone. She landed on the ground roughly, both of them feeling a bit woozy. It felt like there was a weight over them.

"Man. Whadya do to us?" Sonic asked wearily.

"Took your speed and powers, little thieves!" Lazaar waved a finger and Sophia gasped up at him.

"What?!" She exclaimed furiously.

"That's uncool!" Sonic stood up, rubbing his head in pain. "Why'd ya do that?"

"Evil I was; ignorant I wasn't," He recited to the two and he chuckled. "Return them when your promise you keep."

"But that's not fair," Sophia frowned at him. "We need to save our friends, and now."

"No prob," Sonic waved his hands nervously. "But how do I get your computer without my speed?" He argued, trying to convince the wizard that without their abilities, they wouldn't be able to get to Robotnik quick enough.

"Brains you have," He pointed to his head. "Brains you must use."

They gave looks of disbelief before giving up trying to argue and walking down the path.

"Why does everything have to be so difficult?" He whined to Sophia, who waved a hand.

"Trust me, I don't like this as much as you."

Bunnie struggled as a Swat-bot held her arms, glaring up at Robotnik. He turned to the computer, thinking about a spell to use.

"Hmm. The submission spell sounds...so interesting. Snively," He brought up, grinning evilly.

"Yes, sir."

Robotnik snapped his fingers and a blue coil of electricity went around Bunnie. Once it was gone, the robot released her and her eyes were wide. "I await your orders, Sir," She said in a monotone voice, meaning that the spell unfortunately worked...

"Oh, Bunnie..." Sally frowned in concern for her, feeling awful that she was now obedient to him not out of her own free will. She looked down sadly, wondering where her friends were and if they were coming to rescue them...

Sonic and Sophia jumped over various coils, landing safely as they jumped off one. Sonic let out a deep breath. They peeked past a coil to see a Swat Ship flying past. They ducked into hiding as the ship flew right over them, and jumped up to grab the bottom of an incoming ship. The duo looked downwards as they arrived in a building, a robot stepping over right over to the ship they were holding onto. Thankfully, they went by unnoticed.

He sighed in relief, Sophia wiping sweat off her forehead as she let out a deep breath. "Too close," She whispered to Sonic.

"Bring the Princess," Robotnik started walking off and as soon as her restraints came off, Sally was grabbed by a Swat-bot. She turned to her friend.

"Bunnie. Listen to me. You have to fight the magic. Fight the magic!" She pleaded, but nothing happened because the spell was too strong.

"Enough!" Robotnik yelled at her, using the submission spell right then and there. She shook her head and looked up at him.

"How can I help you, Dr. Robotnik?" She questioned in a monotone voice, just like Bunnie did.

A door was opened to allow Sonic and Sophia in. He yelped and Sophia ducked as a laser was fired at them. Sonic took her hand and they ran away from Swat-bots. Sonic dug into his backpack, taking out a bomb. He planted it at the middle of the staircase, Sophia looking over her shoulder with a small smirk. The two got away as the bomb exploded, and they looked back upwards once they reached the end.

"Way to use the ol' brain."

"Those can only take us so far, Sonic," Sophia reminded him. "We still have to get Lazaar's computer back, and since that's with Robotnik, we need a plan to get it back without him noticing."

"Got it," He nodded in agreement. "So what do we do?"

"Well, first we find his main room and we-" Suddenly a yellow aura surrounded the both of them, lifting them in the air. "What?!"

"Whu-oh!"

They suddenly appeared between Sally and Bunnie, as Robotnik had used the teleportation spell on them.

"Sal? Bunnie? What are you guys doing here?" Sonic asked in confusion.

"...Wait, where are we?" Sophia looked around in a panic, gasping sharply as she saw Robotnik in front of them.

"Ladies, if you please..." They surrounded the two, grabbing them by their arms. "Well, hedgehog, princess..."

"Hey! What's going on?" Sonic demanded, trying to get away, but their grips were too strong.

"...I have you both at last," Robotnik finished, essentially ignoring the hedgehog's question.

"What did you do to them, Robotnik?"

"I made them...obedient," He answered forebodingly with a smile, Cluck pecking at his hand.

"You brainwashed them with Lazaar's computer using a submission spell!" Sophia accused knowingly, clenching her fists.

"Indeed," He rubbed his chin. "Perhaps I should roboticize them. Starting with you." Sonic flinched as Robotnik pointed at him. "Princess!" He pointed to Sally, then at Sonic. She started dragging him over to the roboticizer, Bunnie hanging onto Sophia so that she couldn't go help him.

"Sal, hold up. Don't do this!" Sonic called out in protest, but the spell was too strong on them. "Sal, it's us, your best friends, your best buds...your main squeeze." She pulled him onto the platform as Sophia struggled with Bunnie.

"Shut your mouth, hedgehog!" She growled at Sonic.

"Listen to him, Sally. This isn't you!" Sophia added in, but was also unheard. Snively pressed the button to activate the machine.

"Activating...dialing..."

Sonic struggled from Sally's grip, looking up and seeing the computer right over Sophia's head. "Soph!" He jerked his head to Bunnie and Sophia gasped knowingly. She threw Bunnie over her shoulder onto the ground.

"Sorry, Bunnie. Nothing personal." She then jumped for the computer.

"Get them!" Robotnik ordered as the girl caught it in her hands. Sonic raced over and she made a break for it, Sally and Bunnie chasing them both. They went right past a Swat-bot, who was about to fire, but was stopped by Robotnik.

"You'll hit the crystal!" He warned it, but the laser went off anyway. It hit a pile of barrels, and they seemed to fall over Sophia and Sonic. However, the two had ducked underneath a table, hiding underneath it.

"This isn't good."

"What do we do?" Sophia whispered to him quietly.

"Security, intruder alert, main lab!" Robotnik pressed some buttons to call his army of Swat-bots over to their location. Sonic looked to the computer in Sophia's hands, and he suddenly remembered something about Lazaar.

"Up to you, little thieves." His belt around his waist was in an odd layout.

"Sonic!" Sophia snapped him out of it and he looked up. Bunnie was throwing around barrels and eventually stumbled upon the duo.

"Follow my lead," He pushed past them and Sophia followed. "Sorry, Sal," They ran past the roboticizer, with Cluck flying after them. As soon as he reached them, he started flying over their heads. "Take a hike, bird brain!" While distracted, he dropped the computer and it went flying.

"I got it!" Sophia slid over to Robotnik as it was flying towards his hands, and she kicked it in the air. Sonic held up his hands and caught it.

"I'll take that. Thanks, Soph. Now, girls..." He turned towards Sally and Bunnie, pressing the bigger button from the computer. It activated a force field, as well as a reverse spell of sorts. Once the two snapped out of it, they both looked a bit exhausted.

"Sonic? Soph? What is going on?" Sally asked in confusion, wondering why they were in Robotnik's lair.

"What in the high heavens are you two doin' here?" Bunnie turned to them.

"Tell ya later," Sonic and Sophia ran past them. "Past cool, Lazaar."

"Way past," Sophia winked at him. They raced for the exit, but were stopped by Swat-bots. They jumped past a laser, Sally and Bunnie going into hiding. Sonic and Sophia ran for the controls to distract the bots from their friends.

"Um, can ah make a little ol' suggestion?" Bunnie asked as the speedy duo jumped, turning to her.

"We're all ears, Bunnie."

"Let's get the hip-hop outta here," She flipped over to the Swat-bots, kicking one down. She flipped from a laser and then kicked the other, taking the lead as they took off into a run. Robotnik ran for the exit, watching them leave.

"I despise that miserable hedgehog and princess, Cluck. Despise them with all my metallic heart," He declared with seething.

"Well you did, little thieves," Lazaar stated once they met back with him in the Forbidden Zone.

"Stay with us, Lazaar. Join the Freedom Fighters," Sonic offered him.

"Yeah! You can still do good for the world," Sophia nodded encouragingly.

"Here for Mobius it is bad. Guard it I must," Lazaar stated to them.

"Can't you destroy it?" Sally wondered curiously, gesturing to the computer.

"The girl has a point. If it's all so evil, why not just be rid of it?" Bunnie agreed with her.

"Release all the evil that would. A catastrophe it would be," He lifted up his beard, revealing his belt. "Sonic and Princess Sophia, your speed and powers I return." He pressed the reverse button from his belt, surrounding them in an aura. He then shook their hands.

"Luck to you, Sonic and Sophia."

"And to you, Lazaar," Sonic stated sincerely.

"Thanks for letting us rescue our friends," Sophia smiled softly at him and they both waved. The door then closed off, the lair shrinking into a puddle.

"We better juice."

"Music to my ears," Bunnie said as they left, and they were suddenly teleported away, due to Robotnik using the spell on them.

Rotor reached out to a button, only to be blinded by the light of his friends coming back.

"Man, I'm glad you guys are back," He said in relief upon seeing them.

"So are we," Sally smiled happily.

"What happened?"

"It's a long story, bud," Sonic responded, Bunnie yawning.

"And it will keep 'til morning."

"Definitely will tell you all the details then," Sophia yawned as well, rubbing at her eyes.

"Well, this won't. Check out the water wheel," Rotor flipped a switch...and a light bulb turned on. Sonic looked up at it.

"That's what you guys been working on?"

"Yes. Isn't it fantastic?" Sally asked happily, earning a groan from Sonic.
