Temporal Tears

Savannah knew she would rather die, than 'kill' anyone she loved. It didn't matter if they were human or Metal. She motioned for Cammy to stand up.
"I'll never kill you, Cammy." Savannah said. "We're not there yet anyway. We don't even know if they know where to look. It didn't look like it."
Cammy knew the HK drones didn't always like to identify and attack one target. They would often fly away and return a short time later and hope to catch more people out in the open. Cammy looked up at the tree they were under. She could see better around them if she could get to a higher vantage point.
There was another group of trees not too far away. There was a very tall one there. She hoped to find better cover for Savannah. Where they were now was not a good place. The HK drone moved away for now. It still searched off in the distance in a grid pattern. It already searched the area where she wanted to go. She didn't think it would go back there but it might come to where they were at right now if it detected anything.
"We need to move." Cammy said. "I don't trust it not to come back here."
Savannah was scared but what else could they do?
"I'll follow you, Cammy." Savannah said. "Please don't ask me to kill you again because I won't."
It did make Cammy wonder if Savannah would've killed her when they returned to the past in the energy bubble that was sent for them. That was when she'd held Savannah in it when Cameron stepped out of it. Savannah was very angry at her then. Savannah said she hated her.
Cammy looked at Savannah. She didn't think Savannah would have even then. Savannah's love was stronger than her anger or her 'hate'.
"I'm sorry I asked you to terminate me." Cammy said.
Savannah wanted to move forward and not dwell in the past. That was mostly what Cameron's problems stemmed from. She knew Cammy would suffer from the same 'problem'.
"Cammy, I don't want to rehash what's done." Savannah said. "It's over and we need to move our lives forward, not backwards."
Cammy looked for the HK drone again. It neared its furthest leg on its search. It should turn away from them soon. It did. They would have five minutes to reach the next destination.
"Let's go." Cammy said.
Cammy reached down and picked up Savannah. She decided to carry her.
"This will be faster for right now." Cammy said.
Savannah was surprised but she knew if Cammy asked her she would have said 'no'.
Cammy ran with Savannah to the next stand of trees. There was better cover there. She looked back once as she ran. The trees they'd just left blocked her view of the HK drone. They reached the location and she set Savannah down near some high grass behind the trees. She looked up at the tallest three. That was the one they were underneath right now.
Savannah looked back to where they'd been.
"Is the HK drone still out there?" Savannah asked.
"The HK drone is still searching. It won't came back this far. I hope." Cammy said. "I'm going to climb this tree and watch the HK drone for awhile. You stay here and don't move. Call my name if you need me and I will drop down in an instant. Watch for any animals, people or Metal."
Savannah knew she didn't want to encounter any Terminators, Grays, Scavengers or snakes. They were really all the same thing except the snake didn't have a choice to be what it was.
Cammy prepared to climb the tree.
Savannah felt bad that Cammy asked her to terminate her.
"I love you, Cammy." Savannah said.
Cammy paused and look back at Savannah. She knew that her request 'hurt' Savannah. It was nice to know that Savannah really loved her.
"I love you too, Savannah." Cammy said as she climbed up the tree.
Savannah was excited to watch Cammy's naked figure climb up the tree in front of her. It was so elegant and beautiful. It was fluidity in motion. She knew that is how the three different versions of Allison she was with all looked. She'd been with Cam and Ally as well. Cammy and Cam would switch sometimes. Vanna was unable to tell when it was Cammy and not Cam when they switched. She knew it was Cam. She winked at Cam and told her. 'OK, Cam, show me what you've got.' Cam smiled at her and did.
Cammy climbed as high as she could. The HK drone was off to her left side by about five miles now. Cammy wanted to see where it went so she could investigate in that direction. She hoped she could see where it landed if it did. That would be a sure giveaway as to where the Skynet base it was from was at. She also needed to remember it could land somewhere. Wait for an hour and take back off to see who it could catch out in the open. She didn't want to get caught in a sucker play.
Savannah looked around the area surrounding the tree. There were no good hiding places she could see. There was only some tall grass off to one side near where Cammy set her down at.
Savannah wondered if Skynet was looking for them or someone else. It could be that something different was going on around there. If it was, what was it? Is this where Cameron was headed? Maybe she arrived previously and was terminated or captured already. They had no communication with anyone or any way to know. They still didn't even know if this was the right future.
If the time transfer worked correctly, they should have arrived right after Cameron did at the same location. They were supposed to be two minutes behind her. Clearly, neither was the case. This error may have happened to Cameron as well. If Cameron was here only two minutes in front of them, she surely would have come to investigate by now. Maybe they were earlier or later than the transfer was supposed to be. Cammy could only confirm the atmospheric pollutants were nearly identical to the future they were just in where she had her baby and gave it to Future Savannah.
As Savannah waited for Cammy to come down she thought she heard something. She was going to call for Cammy but the noise was close. She didn't want to pinpoint her location. Savannah was worried Metal was stalking her. How could anyone get that close to her? She was completely stationary and not moving. The HK drone could have alerted someone. Maybe it anticipated where they would go.
Savannah was worried Cammy would be captured and the information stolen from her chip. She was also aware Cammy didn't want her chassis to be converted to some other 'function' for the pleasure of Grays. She knew her body would also be pressed into that function if she survived the interrogation.
She carefully moved deeper into the tall grass around her. She was hidden from view from a human but not from Metal. A sick feeling flooded over her. What if it was Scavengers? She knew they would brutalize her body in every way possible for days on end. During the assaults they would mutilate her. She'd seen girls in the futures she'd been to that survived being held in Scavenger camps. It wasn't pretty. The future with her mother was worse. None of the girls would be able to nurse if the could get pregnant. There was only scar tissue on the ends of their breasts. None of them would ever 'finish' again. Everything was gone down there. Scavengers like to leave their marks for all to see.
Vanna took her aside before she left to have the baby in Cameron's future. Vanna told her not to fight back. She remembered her words.
'You won't be able to stop them and they'll hurt you even more, knock out your teeth and break bones just for the fun of it.' Vanna said. 'They'll cut 'parts' off your body. I've seen it with my own eyes. Some make necklaces with the severed parts.'
Those words echoed in Savannah's mind right now. If they were about to be captured, maybe Cammy could rupture her power cell. They could embrace each other as eternity arrived and vaporized both of them. She would rather 'go' in Cammy's arms than be beaten and abused. Vanna told her it was terrible to be held down while they took turns.
Savannah was aware in wartime that some soldiers made necklaces with an ear cut off of someone they killed. The Scavengers made it more private and harvested their trophies off of live victims. There was no 'fun' in taking the 'parts' from someone who was already dead. They couldn't see the terror in her eyes or hear her scream. She was aware that Jesse did the same thing. She'd collected human body parts that she removed from both live males and females. At least Jesse was ashamed of her past actions.
Her heart pounded. She was being gripped by fear. Surely Cammy must know they were coming for her. She'd wanted John to be her 'first' and hopefully her only male. Now it was going to be a group of violent strangers that 'took' her. Vanna's words screamed through her head again. She wanted them to stop but they didn't.
'You won't be able to stop them and they'll hurt you even more, knock out your teeth and break bones just for the fun of it.' Vanna said. 'They'll cut 'parts' off your body. I've seen it with my own eyes. Some make necklaces with the severed parts.'
Savannah's heart pounded. It was so loud. She tried to make it slow down but she couldn't. She was afraid they were going to hear it. Her heart sounded like a locomotive in her own head. Her mouth was dry. She needed water. It felt like her mouth was full of sand right now. She couldn't even swallow and she needed to badly. She hoped she didn't start choking. She was sure she was going to cough.
Vanna's words flooded her.
'Volunteer to please them, do anything they ask.' Vanna said. 'They'll beat you less and maybe not even cut on you. The assaults will be over fast the first few times around. The initial assaults usually only last less than a minute for each one of them, one after another. They will all repeat. It takes them longer each next time. They will flip you over. Just lay there and let it happen. Let your mind wander elsewhere. Don't look or think about it. Then they will want you to please them in other ways. If you're hurt or dead, you can never escape. You wait for the chance to escape later on. I've seen it with my own eyes. Savannah, this is what has happen to me. I was still young. It was only a few months after Judgment Day when I was forced to become a 'woman'. It happened over and over for years. It happened hundreds of times maybe thousands. I stopped counting after the first day. It was over a hundred nonstop assaults. Once they found out I was 'untouched' they came from everywhere. The all wanted a virgin on her first day. I didn't think I would ever walk again.'
Savannah remembered that both Jesse and Vanna told her if she was still a virgin on Judgment Day to make sure there was no indication that she was. She would be assaulted less that way the first time. She found out later the Jesse personally made sure any young girls she encountered would not later be identified as virgins. Some of the girls that still had a mother thanked her.
She felt sick. She was now afraid she was going to throw up. They would find her then and it would start. At least they wouldn't get 'everything' from her. She and Young Jesse took each other's 'innocence'.
She tried to push the thoughts away but the all began to replay again. Vanna told her to make sure that happened before Judgment Day, even if she needed to do it herself. Vanna told her that she'd been assaulted even more, because she was 'untouched'. Savannah knew after having two children already, that would no longer be an issue. They wouldn't know her true virtue. She would never let them know.
Savannah heard the noise come closer and closer. They were almost upon her. She was ready to scream Cammy's name. The brush in front of her moved.
They'd found her!
Vanna's words screamed in her head!
What was she going to do?

Cameron's Future Timeline:

Cameron was better now. She retained limited awareness of what she'd been trying to do. She replayed her files and was embarrassed. Most of what happened was missing. It always was from these 'events' but she'd seen enough. She needed to apologize to Future Allison. She must have looked like a fool as much as she looked like a threat. What made it worse was she'd thought she was the very person right in front of her!
"Allison, I don't know what happened or what I tried to do. I'm deeply sorry." Cameron said. "I don't know why I thought I was you. It's happened before to me. I told you about it. I feel really bad about it all."
Future Allison felt sad for Cameron. She didn't need to 'punish' herself over this. It was no big deal, everything turned out OK. She planned to 'cover it up'.
"Cameron, don't worry about it. Nothing bad happened to anyone." Future Allison said. "I'll speak with My Cameron. This never happened as far as I'm concerned."
Cameron didn't want Future Allison to lie for her. She retained Future Allison's 'offer' to leave everything behind and run away with her or with Savannah and her.
"Allison, did you really mean what you said?" Cameron asked.
Future Allison moved up to Cameron. She held Destiny and placed Cameron's hand on her neck. She wanted Cameron to know she was sincere. She would do anything to 'save' Cameron. She was very much like Savannah in that regard. She wanted to make everything crystal clear.
"Cameron I'll go with you and Your Savannah into any future, past or different timeline for the rest of my life." Future Allison said. "If I can't take Destiny, I'll let My Cameron and My John raise her as their own. It's what you really want anyway, so will she. I know. You've told me before. Cameron, I love you. I've loved you like no other since we spent so much time together when you saved me, when you gave me back my life. I wanted to be with you then and go with you then, I wanted to return to the past with you."
Cameron heard everything she wanted to hear. It was all the truth too. How did she ever leave Future Allison behind before? How did she leave her in this terrible future?
"You're being truthful in EVERYTHING you're telling me." Cameron said. "You really do love ME. You want ME."
Future Allison wanted Cameron to bring Savannah with them when they left. It didn't matter what the destination was.
"I know you want Your Savannah to come as well. I do too." Future Allison said. "We've shared and bonded with each other. I love her also."
Cameron could feel freedom was at hand. All she needed to do was take it. Future Allison offered it to her on a silver platter. She knew Savannah would go with them as well.
"I don't know what to do, Allison. I want that more than anything." Cameron said. "I want to be with you and My Savannah and run away from everything. I want to get away from it all. I want to run and run as fast as I can and never look back."
Future Allison could see Cameron was ready. There was a new future waiting for them. It called to them. It was right in front of them. She needed to tell her long time lover. She needed to say 'bye' to her and no one else. She needed to give her daughter to the person she loved the most before Cameron.
"I'm only going to tell My Savannah and 'give' her Destiny and then we can go." Future Allison said. "I don't want to say goodbye to everyone or even anyone. I might not be able to do it then. They will try to stop us, me anyway."
Cameron could see Future Allison was serious. Her love was strong. It was as strong as Savannah's love. It was love to die for. She'd watched the girls follow her into the unknown before. None of them ever hesitated. They all went for her.
"You will blindly follow me into the unknown and not know where we are going or what will happen?" Cameron asked.
Future Allison would trade her life for Cameron's and everything else too. Nothing was stronger than pure sweet love.
"Yes. That's true love, Cameron." Future Allison said. "I'll sacrifice everything for YOU. THAT is love."
Cameron held Future Allison and Destiny and cried like she'd never done before.
Tears
The product of all relationships
Is soon to be crying
It all appears to start
When someone begins lying
It seems to be that the ones
That can only truly hurt another
Are the ones that are loved
As that love they smother
No two individuals for long
Grow together as one
They soon drift apart
As sure as the morning sun
Everything is always in flux
Whether it's recognized or not
Lessons of the past once forgotten
Are soon enough again painfully taught
It all grinds the minds gears
Leaving one full of many fears
Take solace with many peers
Everyone sheds plenty of tears
Nobody
