Atlesian Airship, Vale, 9:16 A.M.
James Ironwood was walking around the airship to the chamber where Roman Torchwick is being held.
'Should I release him or should I not? I need to find out what this Mystery Faction is.' James thought as he left the captain's cabin and were beginning to enter the area where Roman Torchwick is.
James unlocked the doors to the chambers with his keycard. James entered the room and walked to where Roman Torchwick is asleep.
"Roman Torchwick," James said as Roman woke up annoyed.
"You better have a damn good reason to wake me up," Roman said while stretching his limbs not noticing General Ironwood.
"Oh, am I face to face with the infamous General Ironwood? The hero of Atlas?" Roman asked sarcastically.
"Roman Torchwick, If you do not answer my questions the-" James was about to finish but he got interrupted by Roman.
"Or you'll what? Torture me? Kill me? Hang me? Make me starve or send me to a tighter Jail?" Roman asked amused.
'Nothing I can't handle.' Roman thought in amusement.
'All right I need to not hesitate and show him no sign of my bluff.' James thought as he
"No I'll let you go," James said coldly. Just as James said that Roman went pale for 2 seconds before he regained his composure.
Roman laughed as James were surprised but not really because James expected Roman to bluff on his bluff.
"I thought I had to escape or kill people to get away but Atlas keep making things easy for me so, of course, I won't answer your questions," Roman said amused.
'Does he know that I intend to stay? He seriously can't let me go.' Roman thought.
"This chamber has an eject function and I can eject it anywhere within a mile (1.6 kilometer) radius. Want me to eject you as far as I can?" James asked while he smirked.
"Really? And what would people think of Atlas after seeing me back in action so quick?" Roman asked.
"They won't be," James said coldly.
'What does he mean by that? He probably knows that I and the White Fang aren't on great terms but...' Roman thought.
'But the White Fang already know where you are and it won't take long for them to track you down.' James finished his line of thought.
"So are you willing to answer my question or be ejected?" James asked as Roman got a little bit paler.
"No thank you but I'll take my leave," Roman said as he smirked, Hoping for the general to drop his bluff.
'Hmm, He knows I am bluffing so I guess I will really do it then.' James thought as he brought his keycard out.
"What are you doing?" Roman asked nervously as he saw James using his keycard on the panel by his cell. Then James started typing some numbers for the count down.
"Ejecting," James answered as the countdown started. Roman saw that he will be ejected after 60 seconds.
Roman tried his best to remain his composure.
40 seconds remaining.
"Wh-What questions do you have?" Roman asked trying his best to not stutter and failing.
"If you are going to answer my questions that means that you also want to stay. Those are the terms." James stated.
"Why would you think I want to stay?" Roman asked.
32 seconds remaining.
"Well you stabbed White Fang in the back and whatever leverage you had against them won't be working because your boss is dead," James said.
'If the half fall maiden is not his boss that I do not know who is.' James thought as he regretted his poor choice of words.
'Even if he found Cinder's corpse, how does he know that she was my boss?!' Roman thought.
23 seconds remaining.
"And you abandoned the remaining White Fang in the mountain to die while you fled. I don't see how they won't come after you since the rest of the terrorists know about your collaboration with them." James stated.
'If I hadn't abandoned them then calamity might've struck the train!' Roman thought in anger.
15 seconds remaining.
"And surrendering to us ensures security from the White Fang and I don't like being used," James said.
10 seconds remaining.
"Nothing is free so you're going to pay with answers or leave," James stated looking at Roman while Roman was in deep thought.
'The White Fang will track me down or Atlas will try to track the other one down and fail. I don't know which is worse but I won't be going back to those animals.' Roman thought trying his best to not think about The Wonder of U.
5 seconds remaining.
James raised his eyebrows while Roman started sweating.
3 seconds remaining.
"FINE! YOU WERE RIGHT." Roman yelled. James smirked and paused the countdown.
"Now then, what was the name of your late boss?" James asked. Roman was surprised since he wasn't expecting a question like that.
'I thought he already knew?' Roman thought.
"Why? I thought you would know," Roman asked.
"I know what she was and that she's dead but I don't know who she was." James clarified as Roman understood.
"Her name was Cinder Fall," Roman answered.
James was surprised since he didn't think the word fall would be in the Fall Maiden's name. It was like she was destined to be the Fall Maiden.
"I have a question, what do you mean by that you knew what she was," Roman asked.
"She was our enemy that's what," James answered.
'What does he mean by "our enemy"?' Roman wondered.
"Now who or what is the Mystery Faction?" James asked hoping Roman could answer that.
"What do you mean?" Roman asked confused.
"Someone attacked the airfield and blew up a warehouse. Who was it?" James asked as Roman were beginning to understand his question.
"Well I don't really know but as long as I don't provoke him he won't come after me like my boss who made that mistake and died for it," Roman said coldly not caring about Cinder.
"Do you have a name?" James asked.
'Shit! Atlas is my current security right now and if calamity struck them then I won't have this security either. Plus Emerald hasn't told me his name.' Roman thought rationally.
"No, I don't. The only thing they bring is a calamity and if yo-"Roman was about to finish but he got interrupted by James scroll ringing.
James brought out his scroll to see it was Ozpin calling. James pressed answer but the call disconnected.
"What?" James asked confused. James called Ozpin again but it said that the person he was trying to call had his scroll switched off.
"And it seems that the good headmaster has been struck by calamity" Roman said as James felt shivers going up against his spine.
"You're lying!" James yelled.
"Why don't you go and find out?" Roman said as James put his scroll back in his pocket and rushed to the helm of the airship.
"I want a visual on Headmaster Ozpin's office immediately!" James ordered the men as they obliged.
The camera on the Atlesian Airship zoomed at the Headmaster's office at Beacon.
"Isn't this an invasion of privacy?" The lieutenant asked not wanting to get into a conspiracy of him committing a crime.
"No, I need to know if he is fine." James clarified.
"SIR! We've zoomed in and it seems…" The soldier was about to finish but he got interrupted by James.
"Let me see!" James ordered as he looked through the camera.
Currently, at 9:31 A.M. the headmaster's office looked like it was thrashed. The table is flipped, with Pieces of gear and glass on the floor. James looked carefully and James could see bloodstains and Ozpin's cup broken.
"Dammit! Get me a bullhead and a few soldiers ready for battle!" James ordered in worry for his friend.
"SIR!" said the lieutenant as James looked at him.
"There's a drop-ship at Dock no.2 ready to leave with around 8 men." The lieutenant informed.
"I'll be taking that," James ordered as he left for the dropship.
"Inform the dropship that General Ironwood will be boarding the ship!" The lieutenant ordered as the men did so.
James boarded the dropship and began to head for Beacon. He hopes that Glynda is aware of what has occurred.
'What did he mean by calamity? When I think of calamity then I think of an event causing utter disaster. Such as a tsunami or an earthquake. Surely this mystery faction doesn't control the laws of nature? Or have someone with a similar semblance? A semblance that brings calamity? Or something far more terrifying' James thought in distress.
A few minutes later James landed the dropship at Beacon with the men. James ran into beacon as his men marched behind him. While he was doing that the students began to notice it along with Glynda.
Glynda was annoyed seeing James march into Beacon along with his men. 'This isn't his academy that he can do whatever he wants.' Glynda thought in irritation.
"What is it this time James?" Glynda asked irritated.
"What do you mean? Don't you know what happened to Ozpin?!" James asked surprised thinking that the deputy headmistress would know.
"No?" Glynda said surprised because she didn't know what happened to Ozpin.
"I looked through the Cameras and I saw his office thrashed and bloodstained!" James answered as Glynda was shocked.
"We need to see if he is okay!" James said as Glynda nodded. They ran to the elevator. James ordered his men to stay on the ground.
The students were noticing this commotion.
"Guys, what do you think happened to professor Ozpin?" Ruby asked worried since Ozpin was the man that allowed him into Beacon.
"I don't know. When was the last we've seen him?" Weiss asked.
"Well I saw him heading for the elevator while wearing a bowler hat," Blake said as Weiss and Ruby were surprised.
"Wait bowler hat? I've never seen Professor Ozpin wear anything like that." Weiss said sceptically.
"Are you sure that was Professor Ozpin?" Yang asked.
"I mean I didn't see his face but he had a cane and walked like an old man," Blake said.
"Blake a lot of people are old and have canes," Weiss said thinking about Roman Torchwick since he has a bowler hat and a cane but isn't old.
"So does that mean that guy Blake saw wasn't Professor Ozpin?" Ruby asked.
"Probably," Yang said as they thought about it.
'Does that mean whoever tried to harm Professor Ozpin was seen by me and I just let him go?' Blake thought thinking this was another one of her mistakes that she would regret.
Headmaster's Office, Beacon, Vale 9:40 A.M.
The elevator opened up as they looked around. Glynda gasped as she realized that James wasn't lying.
"Ozpin!" Glynda and James yelled looking for Ozpin.
"Up…Here…" Ozpin said weakly as they looked above to see bloody Ozpin trapped in the cogs and gears of the machinery in his tower. Luckily they weren't moving since the switch to that was on Ozpin's cane. If it wasn't for that then Ozpin would have been eaten by the machinery like how escalators eat people with their machinery.
Three of his fingers on the left hand and his left foot up to the knee was completely crushed by the machinery and a few of them were stopped in his stomach. If those weren't stopped then the cogs would've dug deeper into his stomach releasing the Hydrochloric acid that is in his stomach to melt his body. And Ozpin was bleeding a lot.
"Ozpin!" James yelled as Glynda used her semblance to move the gears and cogs out of the way so they could get Ozpin down from there. After they got Ozpin down James and Glynda couldn't imagine the heavy pain that Ozpin was feeling and how he hasn't winced yet even if he has reincarnated many times.
"Let's get you to a doctor first then we'll talk," James said as Ozpin nodded. They later brought Ozpin to the best doctors they had to heal him up. The remaining classes were cancelled.
Vale Hospital, 3:14 P.M.
"How are you feeling?" James asked as Glynda was standing beside him. Ozpin was in a bed. He will recover but it would take some time.
"I am feeling fine for now. What did the doctors say?" Ozpin asked.
"They said that you will recover within a few days," Glynda informed.
"As for your leg, you might need a prosthetic," James informed as Ozpin understood.
"If only I could've been there this might've not happened." Glynda felt bad for Ozpin since she wasn't there to defend him when he needed it.
"It's not your fault and if you were there…" Ozpin paused as Glynda and James hoped Ozpin doesn't say what they think he will say.
"If you were there then you would've joined me too in the machinery," Ozpin said as Glynda and James were shocked.
"Ozpin… What happened?" Glynda asked worriedly.
"Well…" Ozpin started
Headmaster's Office, Beacon, Vale 9:08 A.M.
Ozpin was working on his desk. He had so much paperwork to finish. "I guess this is how Glynda feels." Ozpin mused.
"And then there's this Mystery Faction at work here. Whoever they are I hope they are not with Salem." Ozpin said hoping the enemy of his enemy is not his enemy.
The elevator was going up to his office. "Hmm, Glynda is coming up here to collect the paperwork I have finished. I should stack those up." Ozpin thought.
The elevator opened up and someone walked in. "Glynda, most of the paperwork i-" Ozpin paused as he realized that it was not Glynda but someone else.
"Who are you?" Ozpin asked grabbing his cane and standing up from his chair near his desk.
Ozpin observed the man carefully. The man was looking down. He has a bowler hat. A scarf and purple gloves with knuckles. And he also has a cane. There is something golden on the right side of his face. His right eye was white so Ozpin could assume that he is blind and he has a sunflower monocle. He also has a couple of sunflower buttons. Ozpin couldn't see his face clearly.
"I am a man here to ask some questions hoping that you can answer them." The wonder of U said in a deep voice and peculiar voice.
"And why do you think that I would be able to answer your questions?" Ozpin asked. He may have lived for a long time to know what is dangerous and what isn't and this man was dangerous.
"Because you are senile because you know people because you know secrets because you have gotten people killed. Like me." The wonder of U said as Ozpin was in thought.
'What he said is true even the part where I have gotten people killed but…What does he mean that I am like him? I don't think he knows that I reincarnate otherwise he would've said that too or wouldn't have said that I am like him.' Ozpin thought.
"Like you?" Ozpin asked curiously.
"Of course! Like me. I have many secrets, gotten people killed, and senile. And we're also head of things." The wonder of U said as Ozpin raised his eyebrow.
"You are more than a Headmaster and I am more than a Head Doctor." The wonder of U said as Ozpin was surprised.
'He is a head doctor?' Ozpin wondered.
"What questions you may have?" Ozpin asked as he decided to oblige hoping that he can earn Wonder of U's trust.
"What are the maidens?" The wonder of U asked.
'He doesn't know about the maidens that mean he isn't Salem's pawn.' Ozpin thought in relief.
"There are four kinds of maidens and they are summer, fall, winter and spring. And these Maidens wield magical powers like being able to summon lightning and fire or ice for that matter." Ozpin answered.
"And how does one become a Maiden?" The wonder of U asked.
"A Maiden must be a young girl and the young girl in that young girl's last thought will be the next maiden," Ozpin said. He could've worded that better but the fear of Wonder of U made his wording not great.
"So some girl can kill a maiden and become one?" The wonder of U asked.
"Yes though it's not easy to kill a maiden who is used to her powers," Ozpin answered.
"So it's a curse?" The wonder of U asked.
"It is but people don't see it like that. People see it as a source of power." Ozpin answered.
'And I am one of those people.' Ozpin thought in shame.
"And who is Salem?" The wonder of U asked.
"Salem is the queen of the Grimm. It is because of her that humanity struggles to populate, to survive, to have a family. She has many pawns and… They are trying to destroy us. Because she promised them something knowing she can't ever give it to them." Ozpin answered.
"Ozpin…Oz…Salem…witch?" The wonder of U wondered along with Tooru. 'Like the Wizard of Oz? Maybe this Salem person was his ex-girlfriend?' Tooru wondered.
"Tell me what you know about Reinhardt." The wonder of U asked as Ozpin was surprised.
'Reinhardt? Does he mean Hazel Rainhart?' Ozpin wondered.
"Do you mean Hazel Reinhart?" Ozpin asked as Wonder of U nodded.
"I honestly don't know. Maybe he joined Salem." Ozpin answered.
"And what do you know about the creator of the Grimm?" The wonder of U asked.
"The humans and the good things on this planet were created by the God of Light. And the Grimm were created by his brother God of Darkness. They have long since abandoned Remnant." Ozpin answered.
'This God of Darkness reminds me of Herobrine' Tooru thought.
"And how does Salem wish to be the victor?" The wonder of U asked.
"Salem is immortal. She considers it a curse." Ozpin informed.
"And her goal is to use the Maidens and use their power to obtain the relics," Ozpin said as Wonder of U were curious.
"Relics?" The wonder of U asked.
'I shouldn't tell him about this but I need to make sure he isn't on Salem's side.' Ozpin thought as he decided to answer Wonder of U.
"There are four relics and each relic can be activated by only one maiden for that relic. These relics once activated will summon the God of Light and the God of Darkness back to the world where they will pass judgment on Humanity. If the Human race has come to accept one another and learned to live in harmony, the Gods will live among them as before and make them whole with the ability to use magic again. If Humanity remains divided and demanding of them, however, the Gods will destroy Remnant and all its inhabitants." Ozpin informed.
"And she wishes to divide humanity so when the gods do come back they will destroy her too since she doesn't want to stay immortal," Ozpin informed.
"That'll be all the questions for today." The wonder of U said as he was starting to leave.
"I have some questions too," Ozpin said as Wonder of U stopped leaving. Ozpin assumed he can ask questions now.
"Were you the one who killed the Fall Maiden?" Ozpin asked.
"Probably…" The wonder of U answered.
"And were you also the one who blew up the warehouse and killed all those faunus back there?" Ozpin asked.
"Well it was because of me it happened." The wonder of U answered. The wonder of U made sure calamity struck them.
"Who are you?" Ozpin asked. Unknown to Ozpin the cogs and gears were moving in a suspicious pattern as so were the ones on the side. And unlike the ones above and below the ones on the sides completely stopped and were beginning to move out from the machinery.
"I am The Wonder of U. And you must not follow me." The wonder of U said as it started walking to the elevator doors. Ozpin pressed a button on his cane disabling the elevator. But it is useless.
"Wonder of You?" Ozpin asked confused. Never in his lives has he heard of a name like that.
"Wonder of U with a U, not Y.O.U." The wonder of U confirmed.
'He even has a unique name like me. Are we really that similar?' Ozpin thought. (So it's the same type of stand as Star Platinum.)
"The others died because calamity struck them and you will too if you continue." The wonder of U said as it was 3 cm from the elevator doors. Ozpin decided to pursue. Ozpin needed to know about Wonder of U's semblance.
When Ozpin was 1 meter away from Wonder of U. Then Ozpin's mug that he left on the table suddenly hit Ozpin back in the head but Ozpin had his aura out. Ozpin was surprised that the hit took out 10% of his aura.
Ozpin readied his cane to hit Wonder of U and he charged forward at Wonder of U. Then suddenly a piece of Cog from the left side of his office hit his head making him miss and Ozpin also lost sight of Wonder of U.
Ozpin got up and looked around to see that Wonder of U is gone and the elevator is still closed.
'Where did he go?! The elevator doors are closed and he wouldn't jump, would he? Would I?' Ozpin thought thinking about that him and Wonder of U are similar.
"Right behind you." The wonder of U said as he tried to hit Ozpin in the back with his cane. But Ozpin dodged and moved out of the way.
'Right now I need to make sure he can't escape. I need to press the button on my desk to put the academy into lockdown.' Ozpin thought as he decided to head for his desk.
Ozpin was running to his desk then suddenly the stack of papers came flying at him. Usually, paper coming flying at you isn't a big deal and it can't be worse than a paper cut. But this was fueled by calamity. The same calamity that made rain as dangerous as musket pellets.
So when that paperwork came flying at him it was like he wasn't being cut by paper but by swords and many of them coming flying at him.
Ozpin were able to make sure he wasn't harmed by half of them but the ones that did harm him made sure he lost 50% of his aura.
Ozpin gasped. He hasn't lost this much of his aura this fast in all his lives. But he was on the desk and the button was under it. Ozpin tried to press the button but the chair hit him on the side fast which destroys 15% of his aura. He has 15% aura left since he lost 10% when the cog hit him.
The hit from the chair knocked him back at the centre of the room. It was about time he used his magic to conjure up a shield bubble. Ozpin tried to strike his cane to the ground but it struck his foot instead destroying 8% of his aura.
While Ozpin was conjuring his shield he noticed that the cogs and gears beneath him were starting to be pulled out of the machinery from some kind of force and they were heading for the headmaster.
Ozpin needed to be in one place still for 2 seconds for him to conjure up his shield bubble. But unfortunately for him, the cogs and the gears beneath the floor launched upwards at Ozpin before he could conjure his shield bubble.
Ozpin was launched towards the cogs and gears in the ceiling while also being propelled by the gears and cogs that were launched from the floor.
Ozpin got stuck in the moving cogs and gears in the ceiling as the other gears and cogs weren't helping him. Ozpin needed to do something to get out of here otherwise he will be eaten by the machinery like escalators eat people.
'I need to live and warn others to not go after him! But I am getting cogged up. If only…' Ozpin was about to finish but he winced in pain as the cogs were digging deeper.
'No, not like this!' Ozpin thought in alarm as he got his scroll out and was able to send a call to James with one hand but the scroll fell and broke as it made an impact on the floor.
'Oh no no no no no no!' Ozpin thought and looked around and saw his cane broken in half. Ozpin grabbed the Cane and pressed a button stopping the machinery from moving.
"You may have stopped them but they can still be fueled by calamity." The wonder of U said looking up at Ozpin who was surprised to think that Wonder of U still hasn't escaped.
"Calamity which will flow right to you if you continue to pursue." The wonder of U said and started to leave.
"Calamity will flow right at me because I pursued you?" Ozpin wondered. Then he got the message. A few minutes later James and Glynda arrived.
Vale Hospital, 4:00 P.M.
"And that's what happened," Ozpin said as James and Glynda were terrified of Wonder of U. But they still think they can find a way around and beat him.
Meanwhile with Tooru...
For the past few days, Tooru has been living inside an apartment. And he pays for it by making Wonder of U steal money for him since Wonder of U is invisible. Right now Tooru was writing down the options he had.
"Alright, I've written down the options and we have four of them," Tooru announced as Wonder of U were sitting down.
"Option A is that we continue doing things they were and not join anyone's side and finish the objective. It's a slow process." Tooru informed as Wonder of U nodded.
"Option B is where we join Ozpin and his friends AKA "The Good Guys" and kill their enemies hoping they are ours as well. At least it won't make me feel evil but the "Good Guys" probably don't know enough about their enemies giving them the upper hand." Tooru explained.
"Option C is where we join Salem. Now you might be wondering why? Well, you see if her objective involves killing everyone here that includes our targets as well. We Could die but we would finish the mission. And we could also live because as Ozpin said they would end Remnant's inhabitants and I hope that excludes me since I wasn't born here. But I have known the determination of the "Good Guys". Even if they are overwhelmed by calamity they will never give up the locations of the Maidens and Relics." Tooru explained Option C and thought about Rai, Josuke, Yasuho and their determination to beat him.
"Option D is where you try to kill Salem. You see, since Salem is immortal nothing on Remnant could do the job but with enough calamity maybe a piece of the moon or an asteroid from outer space hits her and destroys the planet. Killing everyone as well including us." Tooru explained option D.
"Nothing has been done by that degree due to the flow of calamity. She has to pursue me harder than anyone for that to happen. After all, nothing is impossible." The wonder of U gave his thoughts on option D.

"cog" and "gear" are true synonyms, they are interchangeable; a "gear" is a kind of a "cog"; in other words, all "gears" are "cogs", but not all "cogs" are "gears". Felt like needed to point that out.
And another thing is the calamity triggers when someone wants to pursue the Wonder of U or Tooru or the head doctor. But The calamity will work the most on the one who wants to pursue Wonder of U most. After the one who wants to pursue the most has been dealt with the order of calamity moves to the next one who wants to pursue the most.
That is why the reporter could talk face to face with Wonder of U because others were trying to pursue him harder than the reporter Josuke sent. But it was only when the reporter touched Wonder of U meaning that the reporter had made more progress and declared that he wants to pursue the head doctor, so Calamity finished him first.
The same thing happened when the head doctor was announcing the Locacaca to a crowd but nothing happened to them because injured Josuke was trying his best to not pursue along with Holly while Rai was trying to get to Josuke. But Josuke still pursued but it was less than the Crowd and Reporter. So the calamity struck Josuke first than the crowd when Josuke was trying to use the Locacaca to heal.
Oh and I am also sorry if you were expecting Wonder of U and Ozpin battling each other with canes and Wonder of U winning, Then Ozping going "So it's the same type of stand as Ozpin" and then a sudden reveal that Ozpin has been a stand this entire time and Ozma a rock human is his user controlling him from a cave since it's the same type of stand as Wonder of U. And then it will be the battle of Calamities. Sorry for that not happening since Ozpin can't touch Wonder of U.
I also wonder what was Wonder of U called before the song since Tooru acknowledges that his stand is named after a song and that Tooru has existed along with Wonder of U before WW2. So what was Wonder of U called before the song? And those who listen to it face calamity?
Oh and a fun fact is that Mista would not want to be on the Remnant. There are Four Kingdoms, Four Huntsman academies, Four main characters, Four relics, Four maidens and Four required targets (Tyrian, Hazel, Cinder and Watts.). Mista would rather go back to prison for life than go to Remnant.
