Tooru was walking around the hospital trying to find room 404. Tooru was currently in his doctor's uniform.
'It's a good thing I took that exam and am able to volunteer as a doctor since I was qualified. It was tiring and shameful to just earn by pickpocketing people.' Tooru thought as he reached the fourth floor.
He found the room and entered it. Inside there was a doctor writing a prescription. "Tooru, you're back?" The doctor asked surprised.
"It would seem, I treated all the patients all I could, all but one girl in room 312. I cannot do anything about her injuries it seems." Tooru informed the doctor.
"The one in 312?" The doctor asked confused not remembering who was in that room.
"Yes, the girl known as Yang Xiao Long of team RWBY is being kept there." Tooru corrected him.
"Oh right! The ones from Beacon Academy arrived a few hours ago. What's her situation?" The doctor asked.
Tooru handed an X-Ray of Yang to the doctor. "As you can see here there are small fragments of leaves dangerously close to her brain. There was nothing I could do about that." Tooru informed as he pointed at the leaves in the X-Ray.
"Dang… what did you tell them?" The doctor asked.
"I instructed them to not shake her head since it could cause a seizure and told her to quit being a huntress since that would benefit her most," Tooru answered.
"Tooru…you very well know that does not just cause a seizure." The doctor said.
"I felt it would be a heartless thing to just tell them she would eventually get cancer or a coma or both and die." Tooru expressed his opinions on that matter.
"I guess it could be excused since you're volunteering now but don't make this mistake again. The patients need to know about their situation no matter how hopeless it is!" The doctor exclaimed.
"I won't," Tooru said as he took his uniform off and put it in the locker.
The doctor sighs. "Do their teacher know about this?" The doctor asked.
"No," Tooru answered.
The doctor sighs again. "This means I have to call them to inform them of the situation with Yang." The doctor said as Tooru walked to the door.
"I'll be going now." Tooru waved off the doctor as the doctor sat down and took out his scroll.
Tooru left the hospital and went toward his car. The car that Tooru bought with cash he stole with Wonder of U.
Tooru opened the doors and went inside the car. Tooru got his phone out and called someone.
"Hello, I just finished my shift at the hospital. Where can I go and pick you up?" Tooru asked on the phone.
"I'll be waiting at the eastern fountain for you sweetie." The girl on the other side of the call answered. Tooru put down his phone and started driving.
In case you were wondering, Tooru has a date now. He couldn't have one in his last life because he was a rock human. That's why he couldn't continue being Yasuho's boyfriend because he couldn't do the thing and Yasuho would freak out.
But now that he is a normal human, he can do normal human things now. He found someone to date. Tooru was happy. He trained for this. He can finally get to keep a girlfriend.
'But where should I take her? A restaurant? A bar? Bowling? Or my apartment?' Tooru wondered.
'The food of the best restaurant I know here has the best food in remnant's standards but they are not as good as the food served by restaurants on earth. Probably because the earth has better standards and is not a post-apocalyptic planet.' Tooru thought about the restaurant idea.
'A bar or a tavern doesn't sound bad but I don't want ourselves to get drunk.' Tooru thought about a bar.
'Bowling doesn't exist…I could invent it and get some money but right now I have a date.' Tooru thought about money.
'That leaves my apartment… We could play video games, have dinner and get in bed.' Tooru thought about bringing her to his apartment.
"But then what are you going to feed her?" Wonder of U asked as he sat near Tooru in his real form.
"That's the thing…Maybe some earth cuisines?" Tooru wondered.
"Like?" Wonder of U asked.
"You know, Thai soup, Wonton, Fried Rice, Sushi, pizza, etc," Tooru answered.
"They have fried rice and sushi." Wonder of U informed Tooru.
"Then I guess I am making Thai soup and Pizza. Been a while since I made this much food. I didn't need a lot like a rock human." Tooru came to decision.
"Since I don't have all the ingredients you're going to buy some for me," Tooru ordered.
"The ingredients being?" The wonder of U asked.
"Broth, coconut milk, fish sauce, wine, coriander, mozzarella, sausage, flour and a frying pan before I reach home with her," Tooru ordered.
"You can't be serious!" Wonder of U exclaimed.
"Look there's the mart, I'll drop you off here. I'll be going around town with her so you have more time to get the stuff back home."Tooru said as he drove away.
Wonder of U phased out of the car. Wonder of U looked around and found no one looking at him. Wonder of U turned into his human form and started walking to the mart.
"Sometimes I wish I wasn't sentient." Wonder of U said as he entered the mart. He already saw people looking at him. Wonder of U quickly looked down at the ground.
'I don't want these people facing calamity. They would slow it down.' Wonder of U thought as he put his hand in the pocket and brought out a mask and wore that.
"Good grief." Wonder of U said as he noticed that he didn't have a shopping cart. He went outside and grabbed one. He brought it inside the mart.
Wonder of U was walking around. He found the area where frozen foods are. "Hello, sir! Would you like to try the new meatballs from Wild Harvest Company?" Some girl asked Wonder of U.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." Wonder of U said as he grabbed a couple of meatballs and ate them.
"So sir, how was it?" that same girl asked Wonder of U.
"Bon Appetit" Wonder of U said as he was about to walk away but was stopped by the girl.
"I am sorry sir but what was that?" The girl asked confused having no idea what Wonder of U said.
Wonder of U was confused for a moment until he remembered that he is on another planet so French words won't make sense to them. Come to think of it why did they know English?
"It means Good Appetite." Wonder of U answered as the girl could assume that's what those words meant.
"That's great sir! Would you like to buy products from the Wild Harvest Company?" The girl asked excitedly.
"No, I am looking for something else." Wonder of U said as he was about to walk off.
"If it's frozen foods we got you covered!" The girl exclaimed as Wonder of U stopped.
"Do you have sausages?" Wonder of U asked.
"Yes sir we do, this package right here contains 12 sausages!" The girl exclaimed as Wonder of U grabbed that package and walked away.
Then Wonder of U walked to the aisle with the cooking ingredients like spice, salt, sugar, lentil, rice and flour. Wonder of U grabbed 2 kilograms of flour and put it in his shopping cart.
He then grabbed the coriander and put it in his cart as well.
He then walked to the aisle with liquids. He grabbed the coconut oil, wine and broth and put them in his cart as well.
Wonder of U walked to the aisle with the kitchen utensils and grabbed a pan and put it in his cart. Wonder of U noticed that fish oil and mozzarella were missing and he didn't know where those are.
"Excuse me?" Wonder of U asked one of the employees.
"Yes sir, what is it?" The employee asked.
"Where are the mozzarella and the fish sauce?" Wonder of U asked.
"Sir, most of our fish related items come from Menagerie but after relations have been soured between us they refused to sell some of the fish-related items, including the fish sauce. And as for this 'Mozzarella', we don't know what it is." The employee answered as Wonder of U froze on the spot.
'Shit! I can buy some milk for the mozzarella but for the fish sauce!? Just because I can walk all the way to Menagerie doesn't mean that I should. It will take a lot of time even on the fastest of vehicles. Think! Think! Think! Fish sauce! I'll buy fish and some sauce. Maybe if we mix those two together or turn the fish into sauce or paste.' Wonder of U decided.
Wonder of U then went on to buy Fish, mushrooms, shrimp, ketchup and milk. Then walked to the counter. They were calculating the total cost of his items.
"Sir that would be 25 lien." The cashier informed Wonder of U. Wonder of U got his wallet out and paid the bill.
'Cheap' Wonder of U thought they were cheap in terms of Japanese Yen.
Wonder of U then took the items and walked out of the mart. Some people were worried when an old man like Wonder of U had so much on his hand since they didn't know he was a stand.
"Wait…I have to walk all the way!?" Wonder of U exclaimed.
'It's 300 meters away! You can do it! You traveled farther distances.' Tooru encouraged him. Wonder of U had no choice but to go with it.
'At least nobody pursued me that much.' Wonder of U thought while he was walking to his apartment. A few minutes later he reached it.
Before reaching the apartment Wonder of U scared some people on the road with his speed. Wonder of U really liked their shocked faces.
Wonder of U put the items down and tried to open the door but the door was locked. Wonder of U then phased his hand through the door and unlocked it from inside.
He then walked inside with the items and put those down in the kitchen.
"Right I need to make fish sauce and mozzarella. I'll start with mozzarella since I do know how to make it." Wonder of U got the milk along with the sugar out.
He then started to stir the milk in warm water. He then checked the temperature and turned the stove off.
He put some vinegar as he stirred. He then noticed the curds, he gathered them all up and put those in hot water.
He then rolled it into a ball and dipped it in ice-cold water a few times. It was working. He then covered it up and put it in the refrigerator.
'I don't have a video showing me a tutorial so I went by our memories.' Wonder of U informed Tooru.
'And the fish sauce?' Tooru asked.
'Apparently fish need to be serenaded in salt for two years and then whatever comes out is fish sauce.' Wonder of U informed Tooru as he googled it up.
'Will you go to Menagerie?' Tooru asked as Wonder of U was shocked.
'You won't have enough time' Wonder of U informed.
'Then go to more stores or do something and get me my sauce!' Tooru ordered.
'Fine' Wonder of U said. He can understand how important this day is to Tooru.
'Fish sauce comes from Menagerie which is an island for the Faunus. They don't like humans so they didn't give that sauce to the grocery stores and marts. Is there any Faunus friendly or human-hating grocery stores?' Wonder of U wondered.
'Restaurants! That's where I'll find it. I'll start with the best restaurant in Vale known as Spicy Dust.' Wonder of U decided. Wonder of U phased out of the door and started heading to Spicy Dust.
'I'll be home in 12 minutes' Tooru informed as Wonder of U shifted into his real form and started hurrying. Wonder of U started running.
Then all of a sudden Wonder of U stopped in his tracks. "Someone is pursuing me." Wonder of U grimly stated.
CCT, Vale, A few hours ago…
It's nighttime at the CCT. The guards have been knocked out or killed by Tyrian Callows. Tyrian knows that Ozpin knows about this superhero, at least that's what Tyrian believes him to be.
His mistress sent him on a mission to recruit him. Tyrian knows that their enemies know about this superhero but Tyrian also know they won't cough it up easily because the attack on Ozpin by this superhero was covered up and the public was made to believe that Ozpin got himself into an accident.
He made sure not to trip any alarms and they were not tripped. Then Tyrian plugged the USB in to plant the virus. This virus will help him see the secrets stored in the servers here. Basically, he is intruding on people's privacy by reading their important files and situations.
He then left the CCT and went into the sewers to hide. Tyrian got his scroll out to hack into their servers.
Tyrian started with the servers Beacon Academy used. There was some CCTV footage but Tyrian noticed that yesterday's CCTV footage of Hallway-2, Classroom 207 and the garden was missing.
He could tell because there was CCTV footage of these places every day but yesterday were here. Tyrian could only assume something bad went down yesterday that they had to cover it up.
Then looked through the spreadsheet that had the list of students that were present and those that weren't. Tyrian noticed that all the members of Team RWBY weren't present yesterday and today.
'Maybe something controversial or humiliating went down yesterday and because of it, they are not here? What happened? Did they try to engage him? Did they die trying? I hope so!' Tyrian thought.
Tyrian found nothing on the matter regarding their absence, on the Beacon servers at least.
So, Tyrian started browsing the Atlas servers. The First thing Tyrian found was the case regarding the airfield that was occupied by the White Fang.
Tyrian read that around 20 White Fang members died there and to Tyrian's joy that file also listed information about Cinder's corpse.
Tyrian started reading the cause of her death with glee. "This girl's corpse was found inside the warehouse of stolen dust. Her bottom half was separated from her top half. She has many burn marks on her body. The latest reports from testing her DNA confirm that this girl was Cinder Fall of Team CEMN. Hahahahahaha! If you can't handle a little spark then you shouldn't be the Fall Maiden!" Tyrian laughed at Cinder's misery.
Then all of a sudden he stopped laughing. He needs to read what it said again about the case. It said this case was about the airfield incident "formerly". Tyrian read further as to why it is no longer about the airfield.
And Tyrian found out why. The detectives found out from the bloodstains on a body bag at the airfield, bloodstains in some bookstore and Cinder's DNA that they were part of Team CEMN and now they consider Leonardo Lionheart a prime suspect.
This infuriated Tyrian. Coward Lionheart may be but he's a lot more useful than Cinder for their cause and because of Cinder's incompetence they suspect Lionheart.
Then Tyrian remembered what he came here to do and that's to find the superhero. Tyrian reads through the file to discover that Emerald, one of Cinder's lackey whereabouts is unknown and maybe she knows about this superhero.
He also realizes Roman Torchwick probably knows about him too but he's the Atlas Airship with tight security so he can't really get there. That leaves Emerald but nobody knows where she is. Tyrian is at a dead end and didn't want to disappoint his mistress.
Tyrian sent all the valuable information he has gathered to watts. A few minutes later he got a message from Watts.
I never thought a mongrel like you would be this useful but this also means you didn't find him yet did you?-Watts
No! They are very good with covering his tracks and I have run into a dead-end so I need your help!-Tyrian
Have you tried looking at the CCTV footage of the library yesterday at Beacon?-Watts
Tyrian then hurriedly checked the footage and to his surprise, there was a man walking in the darkness of the library. Tyrian could only assume that's him. Then a girl tried to catch him but ran into a desk. Tyrian Chuckled at that part.
I assume you have now. That girl knows a few, but enough things about him. She's at the hospital-Watts

Atlas paid their 40,000 lien bill to the Vale hospital yesterday. I can assume that's where she is. Maybe all of Team RWBY is there as well. Not gonna thank me?-Watts
Tyrian didn't thank him and put his scroll back in his pocket. Tyrian started to exit the sewer. 'Now I know what you look like from the back. You didn't cover all your tracks!' Tyrian thought as he exited the sewer.
Tyrian looked around him and to his astonishment, the man he was looking for was walking on the other side of the street.
'He here! It must be destiny bringing us together like this!' Tyrian thought in glee. But before approaching Wonder of U Tyrian observed him carefully. He looks exactly like he did in the footage. He walks with a cane and has a bowler hat.
Tyrian decided that he had observed him enough and decided to approach him. Wonder of U was on the other side of the street so Tyrian had to cross it.
Tyrian looked to his right and then to his left for any cars. When the road was clear Tyrian walked to where Wonder of U was walking.
"Hello!" Tyrian said in a cheerful voice but Wonder of U ignored him and kept walking. Tyrian was annoyed but he decided to pursue him further.
"Hey! I am talking to you, Mr Old Man." Tyrian clarified unaware of the calamity approaching him.
"It is rude to call someone old when you want them to be your friends, is it not?" Wonder of U said in a peculiar voice.
"Ah yes, my apologies but sir would you be kind enough to listen to me?" Tyrian asked but Wonder of U still looked annoyed.
"Who are you?" Wonder of U asked.
"I am Tyrian Callows and I come with an invitation," Tyrian answered as Wonder of U was surprised. Then he started smiling.
"What invitation?" Wonder of U asked.
"The invitation to work for her majesty!" Tyrian clarified.
"Does your "Majesty" have some fish sauce?" Wonder of U asked as Tyrian was confused.
"Um well, no" Tyrian answered.
"Then, I refuse!" Wonder of U exclaimed as Tyrian was surprised by his refusal for such a petty reason. Wonder of U then started crossing the road.
Tyrian cannot disappoint his mistress like this, he will make him join! Tyrian started to pursue him. And started crossing the road.
But then Tyrian heard a noise while he was crossing. It was a horn. Tyrian looked to his right and to his horror and surprise it was a truck. The truck was going fast, too fast for it to stop or steer away from Tyrian.
Tyrian decided to dodge but then he slipped. Tyrian was shocked that he slipped on a banana peel that Tyrian could only assume was left by Wonder of U. Tyrian braced himself believing his aura can take the force of the truck.
But what he didn't account for was the flow of calamity coming along with the truck. When the truck hit Tyrian, his torso and limbs exploded and separated from each other.
Wonder of U shifted back to his real form when Tyrian collided with the truck. People were horrified of the scene that unfolded upon them.
'Is he taken care of?' Tooru asked.
'Yes.' Wonder of U answered.
'I am at my apartment with my girlfriend and I don't see any fish sauce, WHERE'S THE FISH SAUCE!?' Tooru exclaimed as Wonder of U was terrified.
A few minutes later Wonder of U reached the restaurant and stole the fish sauce from them. On that night the restaurant lost a good chunk of its reputation due to the lack of fish sauce.
Wonder of U teleported to Tooru with the fish sauce. When Tooru did arrive home with his girlfriend he played some videogames with her while Wonder of U was getting the fish sauce.
After they had all the ingredients Tooru along with Wonder of U was able to cook some pizza and make Thai soup.
And luckily for Tooru his girlfriend was impressed and fell in love with his soup. Since Tooru couldn't call it Thai Soup due to Thailand not existing on remnant so he decided to call it by its other name the Tom Yum soup.
With those beautiful cuisines (That had higher standards than remnant), Tooru was able to get his girlfriend into his bed.
As Wonder of U, the only one who witnessed Tooru's affair with his girlfriend questioned "She's 21 while he's older than 87. I wonder what her reaction will be when she found that out?". Tooru and Wonder of U would consider this day their victory day.
The next day Tooru had some wild ideas about using earth songs and sports on Remnant since he couldn't be sued for copyright and make some real cash and get some more women surrounding him.
So I hear some of you are saying that even seeing Tooru's face without the will to pursue will result in calamity.
I highly doubt that's true. I think people will only be affected by calamity if they pursue Wonder of U or Tooru. I mean Yasuho knew Tooru for a long time without facing calamity, I highly doubt Yasuho's rock animal hairpin is part of that calamity and Tooru was Yasuho's boyfriend. Nothing happened to Yasuho back then (That I know of). But calamity started flowing at Yasuho when she started to pursue the head doctor.
Tooru even had an occupation as a doctor or something at TG hospital. He treated people there or something like that.
The more you pursue the more calamity will get in your way. The calamity is like a snowball effect. It starts out small and gets bigger and more powerful. for example when Josuke starts pursuing Wonder of U the flow of calamity is weak. It starts with benches colliding with him, People getting in his way, cigarettes impacting his face, being convicted of murder, etc.
But then again calamity will flow at you when you pursue Tooru/Wonder of U. There probably has been a moment where a patient or a visitor had to ask Tooru about something and Tooru is like a little bit far from them and they had to go to him, that counts as pursuing and they might've faced something minor such as bumping into people and colliding into benches, etc. But when they get what they wanted they no longer need to ask/Pursue Tooru anymore. The calamity can be stopped if you stop pursuing Tooru/Wonder of U.
So yes RWBY could face calamity if they need to go and ask Tooru something or get something from him. One thing that is unclear is if the force of calamity decreases if they stop pursuing. Like if Josuke had stopped pursuing Tooru after Rai's death for like 50 years and then starts to pursue him, would Josuke face the same amount of built-up calamity when he faced Wonder of U before or would it have to start from scratch?
And another thing remember when Josuke thrashed the Locacaca so Wonder of U will attack him? Yeah, so when Wonder of U was heading for Josuke Rai was heading for Josuke as well. And Rai saw Wonder of U going through walls and heading to Josuke. And Josuke and Rai weren't pursuing him. That's why Wonder of U was the one to approach them.
So I think Wonder of U can limit the calamity or at least he can somehow stop it (it's unclear). That's why Wonder of U could go to a mart to buy the ingredients without having to worry about much.
So I am pretty sure seeing their faces without the will to pursue is fine.
oh and the bold letters (Those being "I refuse" and WHERE IS THE FISH SAUCE!?) in this chapter are references to something. Can you guess what it is referencing?
Of course, you can. It is Rohan's refusal and Gordon Ramsay's most crucial question to that chef.
