It was noon in Patch. Inside Patch is where the father of Yang lives.
Taiyang was watering his plants happily.
Life has been good so far. His daughter has been treated. Her mother visited her while she was unconscious.
She got some reliable teammates. Taiyang knew there was some sort of affection Raven had for her and himself.
He just wished she would come visit him too.
He then heard a noise coming from behind him.
He assumed it was a grimm or a bird or THE bird (Qrow) trying to scare him.
He turned around to see who it was and he was shocked to see it was Raven (a bird).
Taiyang noticed that she was struggling to walk and there was blood on her body.
He quickly rushed at her and grabbed her.
"R-Raven!?" Taiyang exclaimed and Raven was struggling to look at him.
He noticed her body was very cold. Taiyang assumed some bad weather was responsible for this.
"Don't W-worry! I'll heat you up!" Taiyang exclaimed as he picked her up and dragged her inside the house.
"Tai..." Raven said as he quickly came close to her to hear what she has to say.
"Don't heat...me...It'll re...open." Raven said he assumed Raven meant that the cold was keeping her blood in.
"Bu-but you'll freeze to death!?" Taiyang said as he was about to get the heater.
But Raven grabbef his leg. "Don't... do...anything..." Raven was struggling to speak as she let go of Taiyang and closed her eyes.
Taiyang assumed the worst when she wasn't moving and her eyes were closed.
He quickly crouched down and shook her trying wake her up. "RAVEN! PLEASE NO!" Taiyang exclaimed but Raven wasn't moving.
Taiyang was crying, he couldn't hold his tears anymore. "RAAAVEEEEEEEEEEEEE-"
Raven opened her eyes and slapped Taiyang. "I am not dead!" Raven exclaimed as Taiyang was stunned.
"Oh...I thought-" Taiyang was about to say something until he got interrupted.
"But I am dying!" Raven exclaimed. Taiyang quickly got the bandages and put those on her.
"You...ok now?" Taiyang asked as Raven nodded.
"I'll cook some food up" Taiyang said as he put her on the bed.
Raven was wondering why she went to Taiyan instead of Qrow...right Qrow wouldn't be much helpful and Yang would bombard her with more questions than Taiyang.
In a few minutes Taiyang walked into the room with a food tray in his hands.
"Ar...are you feeling okay...?" Taiyang asked as he sat down beside her.
"How are you?" Raven questioned to avoid his questions.
"Yo-you don't have to worry about me...What happened?" Taiyang asked in concern.
Raven realized she would eventually have to answer his questions.
"I ran away...again..." Raven said as she was starting to cry thinking about her dead tribe.
"From your...tribe?" Taiyang asked, he never liked her tribe.
"Yes..." Raven said as she started crying as Taiyang comforted her.
"We-We...were attacked...and I escaped our...no my attacker." Raven explained.
"Your tribe was attacked?" Taiyang asked confused.
He knew Raven's bandit tribe weren't weak or anything so he assumed someone strong attacked them.
Like Atlas or a group of huntsmen. But one thing he doesn't understand is Raven running away. They weren't losing...were they?
"I am the only one...to make it out alive. Everyone died fighting him while I ran away like the coward I am!" Raven exclaimed.
She has thought about it for some time now...how she abandobed her family and her responsibilities of a mother to escape Salem just so she wasn't part of Ozpin's war.
She thought she had made the right choice but...when her tribe dies fighting strong with pride for it and she runs away accepting defeat but denying her responsibility in this made her...a coward.
She was powerful but... she was not strong. She never wants to face formidable enemies like them. Because after all a weakling like her will die.
"You're not..."
"I am! I ran away from my daughter, from Ozpin's war and now this man! I did it because I am not strong enough to face the responsibilities!" Raven yelled.
Taiyang was speechless. He could see that his wife was in great pain. But then he thought about when she said that she ran away from someone.
"Just one man...did this?" Taiyang asked terrified.
"Yes...I was barely able to run away from him..." Raven said.
"How did your...body get cold? As far as I know, you weren't in Atlas" Taiyang asked.
"I made it cold to stop the bleeding..." Raven answered.
"Yo-you made it? How?" Taiyang asked confused.
"I...I am the Spring Maiden..." Raven revealed as Taiyang was shocked.
"Doe-does that mean that you killed the last Spring Maiden!?" Taiyang yelled.
"She was a liability!" Raven exclaimed as Taiyang decided to not dig further into that.
"What kind of gun did he use for you you to have...so many holes?" Taiyang asked.
"Did you find a bullet in those holes?" Raven asked eyeing him.
"No..." Taiyang answered.
"I changed the weather with my powers to strike him with lightning..." Raven said as Taiyang was impressed.
"But...he turned the rain into his weapon and propelled them at me somehoe...with his semblance..." Raven said as Taiyang was confused.
"Replace the rain with bullets and you got your answer." Raven said as Taiyang was shocked and speechless.
"Ho-how did he? What is his semblance!?" Taiyang exclaimed as he understood why Raven lost.
"I...I don't want to think about...him anymore..." Raven said as Taiyang was quiet for a while.
"What are you going to do now?" Taiyang asked as Raven grabbed the food.
"I...don't know" Raven answered as she ate her food.
"Maybe...live with me! You know, as a husband and wife!" Taiyang suggested.
"I guess so...there's nothing else for me" Raven said.
"Does this mean you want to be the mother Yang wanted you to be?" Taiyang asked excited.
"I don't think she'll think of me as that." Raven said.
"I will make sure she does!" Taiyang exclaimed getting his scroll.
Haven Academy...
Wonder of U has finally reached Haven Academy after a whole day of walking.
"Finally!" Wonder of U exclaimed as he observed Haven Academy.
It looked like some district from aincent China or Japan. He noticed people's furniture were also made of mahogany wood.
The Academy was large but it wasn't as impressive as Beacon.
Wonder of U was still in his real form so nobody could see him.
He walked into the Academy Grounds.
'The Relic of Knowledge isn't something a lot of people know about...But the headmaster surely knows where it is, I need to find him first.' Wonder of U thought as he started to explore the place.
He found a double door leading into the house and went inside a big house?
There was a lot of decorations and the place was mostly empty with a few students walking around.
"You should ask some girl where the headmaster is and she'll tell you where. Like a student since the staff would find you suspicious." Tooru ordered as Wonder of U sighed.
Tooru has been interested in young girls ever since he slept with one.
Wonder of U found that kind of creepy since Tooru is around 90 years old while the students weren't even an adult.
But hey...Tooru is his user. Who is he to question his motives. Kira liked women's hands too.
He was in a hallway that had a few people in it.
He approached a girl in his human form and talked to her.
"Excuse me, but could you tell me where the headmaster's office is? I can't find it." Wonder of U politely asked.
"It's in the Grand Hall on the east." The girl quickly said and walked away in a hurry.
"Rude..." Wonder of U and Tooru thought.
Anyway, Wonder of U transformed back to It's real form discreetly and walked out.
A few minutes later, he found the biggesy house yet. He assumed this was the Grand Hall.
He phased through snd wasn't surprised to see it empty and decorated.
He noticed a statue of a woman as well. He assumed she founded the academy.
There wasn't a lot of doors so it shouldn't take much time to find him. He opened a few.
He went upstairs and opened the door above.
It lead to another room. It seemed like a waiting room. It was creepy how little life this place has.
There was also a door and he heard some voices.
"You must not escape otherwise, they will get suspicious." He heard someone say.
"Yes...I will make sure that they don't get suspicious of me." Lionheart said.
Wonder of U decided to just phase in to see what was going on.
He surprised to see the headmaster talking to a floating jellyfish.
"And how will you do that? As far as my sources go, They have acknowledged your collaboration with Cinder." The Jellyfish asked.
"What. The. Fuck!?" Wonder of U and Tooru exclaimed.
Lionheart was silent. The Jellyfish sighed.
"It's not even your fault...Is the relic still with you?" The Jellyfish asked.
"He's taking orders from a Jellyfish?!" Tooru exclaimed.
"It's still safe in the vault. The only thing that can open it is the Spring Maiden," Lionheart said.
"There was one group that we suspected, that they know of her location and they died yesterday." The Jellyfish said.
"What does this mean?" Lionheart asked.
"This means the someone else is the Spring Maiden" The Jellyfish said.
'He must be talking about The Tribe I attacked. I thought they were discreet. But now they think that I am a maiden.' Wonder of U thought.
"I'll help you and make sure they don't find you suspicious. I'll forge up some evidence." The Jellyfish said.
"You...would do that?" Lionheart asked surprised.
"Only because this is happening due to Cinder's poor decisions" The Jellyfish answered as it floated to the wall.
Wonder of U observed as he hid it in a secret compartment in his wall.
"So he works for a demon jellyfish?" Wonder of U asked.
"And Salem is the queen of these demons...Is she a jellyfish?" Tooru wondered.
"No, I refuse to believe that Salem is a jellyfish. Maybe this jellyfish is like her general or something." Wonder of U said.
"Pfft, General Jellyfish!" Tooru and Wonder of U laughed as Wonder of U phased out the door.
'He said that it was in a vault of some sort. If were to guess...It's in a place that has something remarkable.' Wonder of U thought as he looked around the Grand Hall.
He then looked at the statue and realised something.
'Could this peculiar statue have something to do with it?' Wonder of U thought as he approached the statue and phased his head inside.
He saw some machinery. When he thinks about machinery in decorations that supposed to not have machinery, it means something secret is there.
He first phased around the stautue's sides to see if any machinery is there. There was no machinery.
There was no machinery above it so it means that there's only machinery beneath the statue.
So Wondet of U phased beneath the statue and descended.
He found a large cave with blue circles and a door. He also noticed the unexpected amount of life in this cave.
It was peculiar seeing those plants thrive in a cave with no sunlight like it's the middle of Spring.
He deduced that behind this vault is where the Relic of Knowledge is.
He doesn't remember how to open this vault but who cares, he can just phase through it.
He started walking into it and immediately he was repelled out. He fell down on the ground astonished.
This is the first time where his phasing didn't work.
"Impossible! Maybe all it can do is just resist me?" Wonder of U thought as he approached the door in the most menacing way possible.
He tried phasing through again but he was pushed out with great power once again.
Wonder of U then noticed something. The skin on his hands and his cloths were slightly torn.
It meant that the Wonder of U, the calamity incarcerate has taken damage. Both Tooru and Wonder of U were shocked at this.
"Only stands can damage other stands. This means that this door has...Stando Powah!" Wonder of U exclaimed.
'This door...is a stand user but I don't think it is that intelligent...It's just very devoted to it's work. I believe it functions the same way the leaves from shakedown road does...' Wonder of U thought.
"This means that there was some someone like the holy corpse that gave it the stand power." Tooru thought.
"Maybe." Wonder of U said as he observed his wounds.
He carefully approached the door. Then with all his force he thrusted his left hand through.
He was able to keep it up for a few seconds until his hand was thrusted out by the stand.
"Shit!" Wonder of U exclaimed. He observed his arm.
There was barely any skin on it. The bones of his endoskeleton was exposed and few bits of skin was on it.
"I can keep this up for a few seconds until I die. The farther I go the more it uses but this door is only 50 centimeters thick and beyond those centimeters, there was no resistance." Wonder of U said.
"This means I have to qickly go beyond 50 centimetres before I am obliterated." Wonder of U theorised.
He then walked close to the door and prepared himself. His strategy was to make sure that his hands go first so when they passed 50 centimetres he can use those to grab the doorframe and hang on and get in.
Wonder of U quickly thrusted both of his hands into the door near the doorframe.
He noticed his left arm was quickly being obliterated but his right arm was able to grab the doorframe on the other side.
Everything above his wrist of his right hand will be fine but the rest won't be because they haven't passed 50 centimetres.
He was able to grab the doorframe with his left hand as well.
But he was running out of time.
Now Wonder of U used his hands to pull and his legs to push his torso through.
His skin and clothes were being torn apart. His sunflower eyes were being damaged.
But within a second his head made it through.
When he looked at what was inside, he was shocked to see a desert with a sky. He noticed the relic too.
Then his shoulders made it through and then his torso and finally his legs.
His left hand was gone, it was obliterated. His body barely had any skin and his endoskeleton was exposed. One of his eyes were damaged too.
"One thing I learned is that...it felt like air being thrusted at me at mach 7." Wonder of U said as he observed the state his body was in.
Then he looked at the door.
"You are a really formidable stand. It would be a shame if I don't give you a name." Wonder of U said as he thought about it.
"How about a name from a song? Like yours?" Tooru said as Wonder of U nodded.
"How about...Heaven's Door." Wonder of U suggested.
"That is fitting name. Now the relic." Tooru said as Wonder of U approached the relic.
It looked like a lamp, a heavenly lamp. He slowly grabbed it.
He then realised that he can't bring the relic out due to Heaven's Door so he had to use it now.
'It looks like a magic lamp like Aladdin's. Maybe if I rub it?' Wonder of U thought as he started rubbing it.
But after a few moments of rubbing nothing happened. "Maybe, if I call it it out?" Wonder of U said as he thought a genie would come out.
"Genie!" Nothing happened so he decided to call out the other name.
"Jinn!" Wonder of U exclaimed as a big blue woman with chains on her body exited the relic.
Meanwhile, Tooru was drving his car but then everything stopped.
Tooru looked around to see people, cars, air, everything frozen in place as if time was stopped but only he can move.
Back with Wonder of U, he was observing her. He deduced she doesn't have nipples or a vagina because she isn't meant to reproduce.
"I am Jinn, a being created by the god of light to aid hummanity in it's pursuit for knowledge. I have been graced by the ability to answer three questions every one-hundred years. You're in luck as I am still able to answer two questions this era." Jinn said as Wonder of U stared at her.
"How do I use the relic of creation?" Wonder of U asked as the environment faded into smoke.
Tooru and Wonder of U was beside each other now. Tooru was surprised to see him.
"The Relic of Creation was created by the god of light to aid hummanity to create what they want. The relic has a spirit named Ambrosius." Jinn explained.
An image of Ambrosius was shown near them like an illusion.
"It is shaped like a staff. You don't have to call out his name like me and think that you want to summon him like your stand here." Jinn explained as Tooru was surprised.
Then a man was shown holding a staff and then summoning him.
"You can use him as much as you want. Just remember that...he will get you exactly what you want and say." Jinn warned as they kind of understood what she meant.
The man ordered him to make a portal and he did so but it was one way as the man wanted so he couldn't get back.
"You also have to describe the thing you want him to create." Jinn informed.
Jinn then went inside her lamp. Tooru and Wonder of U were back to where they was.
Time was resumed.
"It has one use left...Let's use it so no one else can" Tooru suggested.
"But who will use it? Who will open the Heaven's Door? I say let's leave it here. We can come back again if we need to use it again." Wonder of U suggested.
"Fine but what about Lionheart?" Tooru asked as Wonder of U put the relic back.
"Let's inform Ozpin about him." Wonder of U suggested as he walked to Heaven's Door.
"Hold on..." Tooru said as Wonder of U stopped.
"Let's ask her about Ozpin. We need to know what he's hiding from us." Tooru suggested.
"Fine." Wonder of U said as he walked back to the relic.
"Jinn!" Wonder of U called out as she exited the lamp.
"I really didn't think you'd be back so soon, What is your last question for this era?" Jinn asked.
"What is Ozpin's backstory?" Wonder of U asked. The environment near them faded into something else.
She then started telling them his backstory.
Beacon Academy...
It was evening in Bracon Academy. Ozpin was sitting in his desk while Glynda and James were in front of him.
"As the report stands, he snuck into the CCT and installed a virus on the computers there, giving them access to our database." James informed them.
"Is the virus still there?" Ozpin asked.
"Unfortunately so, we've decided to replace the computers with new and enhanced ones designed by Dr Polendia." James answered.
"How could that virus bypass the security?" Glynda asked.
"I believe Roman has informed me that Cinder knew a scientist, possibly Atleasian." James informed as Glynda groaned.
"So the CCT will be disabled for the time being?" Glynda asked as James nodded.
"I have some news too..." Glynda said as Ozpin nodded her to continue.
"Raven Branwen is back with Taiyang." Glynda informed them.
"Unlike Qrow, She's a bandit...shouldn't we put her behind bars?" James suggested since he can get by her not being behind bars.
"He has a point." Ozpin said as he drank some coffee.
"She's the Spring Maiden" Glynda said as Ozpin chocked on his coffee.
"She's what!?" James exclaimed.
"I guess we can't put her behind bars now..." Ozpin said.
"Is she going to be on our side?" James asked wanting to get another maiden on their side.
"No, she refused because apparently, Professor Ozpin's associate wiped out her tribe." Glynda said as they both were shocked.
"You had an associate capable of that?!" James asked.
"I...don't think I do..." Ozpin said.
"I mean it could be either Qrow or Amber and we all know he wouldn't send Amber." Glynda said.
"And Qrow isn't the massacre type..." James said knowing Qrow would rather spend his time drinking than fighting.
The elevator door opened. They all felt a chill go up in their spine knowing who it was.
'It all makes sense...' Ozpin thought.
'That he wiped her tribe out' Glynda thought.
'And he's somewhat friendly with Ozpin' James thought.
They slowly turned their heads at him. They were shocked at what they were witnessing.
He looked like a zombie. most of his endoskeleton was exposed, his skin and clothes were peeling off, there was barely any blood on his body, his monicle was broken and his left arm looked like it was torn off.
'What...happened to...him?!' They all thought.
Wonder of U was confused why they were shocked.
"So you were the one who went after The Branwen Tribe?" Glynda asked.
"No...?" Wonder of U said.
"Then how do you explain...that?" Ozpin asked pointing at him.
Wonder of U then looked at himself and immediately realised that he forgot to fix the injuries.
'Shit! Looks like I need make some bullshit up hoping they believe me.' Wonder of U thought.
"Drugs...I took drugs without looking at the side effects." Wonder of U lied.
"This is the result of...side effects?" James asked surprised.
They all wondered what side effects could cause this.
"Side effects included: Negative reactions, Hepatitis, burden, pain and a loss of a...head." Wonder of U answered as they all looked at him dumbfounded.
'WHAT FUCKING DRUGS DID HE TAKE!?' They all thought.
"Tell us the truth! I know you ju-" Glynda was about to say something until Ozpin's cane hit her in the head.
They all knew Glynda was fine so didn't bother checking on her which infuriated Glynda.
"Anyway, I am here to talk with you Ozma" Wonder of U said as Ozpin was shocked and immediately stood up facing him.
Then a full cup of hot coffee hit him in the face but he still glared.
"What do you want!?" Ozpin asked.
'How did he get the relic!? Wasn't it locked?!' Ozpin thought.
The others assumed that name was part of his secrets.
"What is your plan to finish the mission given to you?" Wonder of U asked.
"What mission?" James asked confused as Ozpin was scared that he might reveal his secrets.
"He has been given a mission by the God of Light to bring humanity together. So how do you plan to achieve that?" Wonder of U revealed as Ozpin was sweating.
"By getting rid of the very thing...that wants us to end each other..." Ozpin gave a vague answer.
"You mean Salem? You think you can unite humanity by getting rid of her?!" Wonder of U exclaimed.
"Of course! She's the one trying to wipe us out with the relics and killling our families out with grimm!" James came to the defense of his friend.
"How!?" Wonder of U exclaimed as they were silent.
"Tell me Ozpin! How!?" Wonder of U exclaimed.
"You...don't know how...?" James asked shocked.
"Jinn, the spirit in the Relic of Knowledge told me that it is not possible for me to...kill her..." Ozpin said as they were all silent in anger.
James then punched Ozpin in the face and he fell down down. Glynda flinched and wanted to do something but couldn't.
"So...everything we've done was has been for nothing?!" James yelled as Glynda could understand his anger.
"James...It's not like..." Ozpin hesitated to speak.
"How can humanity live together if you're going to give up after you find out that you can't kill someone?" Wonder of U said as Ozpin understood the irony.
"I...never gave up..." Ozpin said as he fot up.
"But did you give up looking for better ideas?" Wonder of U asked as Ozpin was confused.
"What do you mean?" James asked as they were confused.
"People have faced the consequences of your poor decisions since millennia ago...but let bygones be bygones." Wonder of U said. Ozpin knew what poor decisions he was talking about.
"What poor decisions?" James asked hoping that his friend isn't responsible for any of this.
"He could've ruled the world but didn't choose to." Wonder of U said as they were shocked that Ozpin could rule the world.
Then they slowly realised that if he ruled the world than all of humanity would obey him, they would've been on the same side, humanity would have been together.
"I...realise that now...but I don't want to in charge of everyones's lives..." Ozpin said as they couldn't blame his noble decision.
"I suppose... you have a way to...kill her?" Ozpin asked.
"How strong is she? As far as I know, she can do some fancy magic." Wonder of U asked.
"She's an immortal witch who can do fancy and deadly magic..." Ozpin reminded.
"There is something we could try." Wonder of U suggested.
"What is it? We'll accept any reasonable solutions." James said in despair.
"I know of a few weapons that can kill her but I'll need the Relic of Creation for it." Wonder of U said.
"How do we know you're not going to take it from us?" Glynda asked.
"I am going to take it from you after we win." Wonder of U said as they were surprised by his honesty.
"Why?" James asked interested.
"To create that fruit, the one from the sketch I showed you that day." Wonder of U said.
"You said that fruit does something called equivalent exchange, what is it?" Ozpin asked intriguiged.
"I am not going to tell you anymore than that. The rest should be a secret." Wonder of U said.
Ozpin understood since he didn't tell everything about him.
"What are these weapons you said will help us win?" James asked.
"Atom bomb, Hydrogen bomb, Portal Gun, Plutonium, Locacaca and infinite rotation. These are our weapons." Wonder of U answered.
"Those names do sound interesting and like powerful weapons, especially this "Plutonium" " James said.
"Eh, it's the least useful but works." Wonder of U said as James was even more interested.
"You mentioned the Locacaca? I thought this fruit only does equivalent exchange? How does ot help kill her?" Ozpin asked.
"It will remove her immortality." Wonder of U said as they were surprised that a fruit is capable of taking away her immortality.
'More like give it to someone else...' Wonder of U thought.
"So...We on board?" Wonder of U asked as they smiled.
"You may bring calamity to those who pursue you but if you can also end her life then...how could I refuse?" Ozpin said.
"It's a deal!" James said as he could see a glimmer of hope.
"Before we get started, we need to deal with a traitor." Wonder of U said as they immediately thought about who could it be.
'Is it James?' Glynda thought.
'Is it Roman?' James thought.
'It's Lionheart, isn't it?' Ozpin knew since he suspected him.
"Who is this traitor?" James asked.
"It's Lionheart, he's taking orders from General Jellyfish." Wonder of U said.
"..." They were completely speechless.
"What?" Ozpin asked.
"I saw him talking to a floating jellyfish!" Wonder of U exclaimed.
"He was talking to a jellyfish shaped grimm?" Glynda asked.
"Yeah...but it can talk..." Wonder of U informed. They were alarmed by a grimm capable of talking.
"Where and how does he meet with his jellyfish?" Ozpin asked.
"He talks with it in his office and hides it in some secret compartment in his wall." Wonder of U said.
They thought about it for a few moments.
"Maybe the jellyfish is a grimm he uses to communicate with the other members of her cult?" James theorised.
"Now that you say that...it makes sense..." Wonder of U agreed.
"Regardless, he's been taking orders from a grimm." Glynda said.
"Right, let's deal with him." James said.
