Chapter 4: Revelation
Ancient fairy dragon: I am saddened at the fact that I can't heal her.
Luna: Can the crimson heal her.
Ancient fairy dragon: The crimson dragon is feeling weaker.
Luna: Why?
Ancient fairy dragon: I don't know.
Luna felt like she hit a dead end and turned to leave but she then decided to ask one last question.
Luna: I have another question, when the dark signer fled he mentioned something about the the primal being.
Ancient fairy dragon fell silent for a minute. That's a name she never expected to ever hear again.
Ancient fairy dragon: Leo is the dark signer, isn't he?
Luna: Y-yeah, how did you know?
Ancient fairy dragon: The primal being, you see the crimson dragon isn't a pure being, he has indeed sinned and what's happening could be a result of this.
Luna: What is the primal being?
Ancient fairy dragon: There weren't just five signers, there were six. Originally there was one signer but after he died the crimson dragon made a group of six signers with one possessing the mark of the dragon's heart who wielded my brother, life stream dragon. This of course greatly feared the crimson dragon as if the signer bearing his heart were to fall he'd be greatly weakened. So as a result after the six signers passed on he immediately got rid of life stream's mark. Of course life stream dragon opposed this and as a result the Crimson dragon stripped life stream of his power and encased him in a metal body. But before life stream was stripped of his power he prophesized that he would ally himself with the primal being, a deity who nearly killed the crimson dragon. The primal being was a powerful entity who embodied chaos and cruelty. He was so powerful that the crimson dragon and the king of the netherworld joined forces to fight him but in the end the only reason we won was because of life stream after he tricked the primal being and trapped the primal being on another world.
Luna: Why didn't you stop the crimson dragon from stripping your brothers power?
Ancient fairy dragon: It saddened me, but the crimson dragon is my master and I must honor him.
Luna: But don't you see, this is what caused this!
Ancient fairy dragon: Though you may be correct I stand with the crimson dragon on his decision.
Luna couldn't believe at what ancient fairy dragon told her. She allowed her own brother to be stripped of his power.
Luna: Well now that you pretty much made an enemy of the only one who could've defeated the primal being how will we defeat him now! You said it yourself life stream was the only reason you guys won and the crimson dragon is getting weaker. How do I know that this isn't the end of the world!
Ancient fairy dragon: I-I don't know, but I have faith in you signers.
Luna: I just pray that our power is enough to stop Leo before he reaches his endgame, whatever it is.
*With Leo*
Leo was hunting down Devack as he needed to siphon his earthbound immortal's power in order to free the primal being. Unknown to the signers even if a dark signer turned back to normal the power of the earthbound immortal they used stays with them until the day they die unless if their immortals power was stripped from them. Eventually Leo found Devack. He then told him to follow and and although devack didn't want to he somehow complied and followed him to an old structure. Unknown to him this was the monkey tower that he gaurded as a dark signer.
Devack: Do I know you?
Dark signer Leo: You did.
Devack: Did? What do you mean by that?
Dark signer Leo: Just duel me *Activates duel disk*.
Devack aginst his will then activated his duel disk.
(Devack: 4000-Leo: 4000)
Devack: I activate the spell call of the apes. I now special summon two ape tokens.
Ape token level 4

Devack: Now I activate tunermorph negative now it decreases a level of one of my tokens but it transforms it into a tuner.

Devack: Now I tune them and synchro summon zeman the ape protector!

Dark signer Leo: Hmm, I though it was an ape king.
Devack: Ape king? I don't recall that being a card.
Leo scoffed, Devack really did forget about being a dark signer. But as long as this doesn't impede his mission it was fine by him.
Devack: I now activate my ape protector's effect, I special summon two ape monsters from my hand so I summon ape magician and ape fighter.

Dark signer Leo: *Draws card* I activate three tremendous fire magic cards dealing you 3000 damage and dealing me 1500 damage.
(Devack: 1000-Leo: 2500)
Dark signer Leo: I now tribute your ape fighter and ape magician to summon lava golem to your field!

Devack: This is mine?
Dark signer Leo: Yeah lets go with that. I now end my turn.
Devack: I dra-
Dark signer Leo: Lava golem deals you 1000 damage!
Devack: NOOOO!
(Devack: 0-Leo: 2500)
Devack was knocked backwards into a wall knocking him unconscious. Leo then walked up to Devack and began to drain the immortal's power from him and used his power to destroy the tower and directed the towers power into himself further corrupting the heart of the crimson dragon.
Dark signer Leo: With this, one of the seals of the primal being is broken.
Leo then began to walk and began to track the next former dark signer.
*With the crimson dragon*
The crimson dragon began to clutch his chest in pain as his head felt dizzy. He then coughed and he noticed that he coughed up a tiny amount of blood. He also began to notice that his claws felt numb. He was growing concerned that maybe a coming darkness is coming forth.
*With the signers*
The signers save for Akiza were in the hospital in Yusei's room. The fact that Akiza was in a mental hospital and Yusei was here presumably in a coma was a seriously demoralizing blow to the signers. The signers then heard the door open and Kalin, Misty, and Carly stepped inside.
Kalin: What happened?
Carly: Oh my god, is Yusei okay!
The signers then explained what happened along with the fact that Leo was the dark signer and Luna also explained about what ancient fairy dragon told her. While everyone was bickering amongst themselves Kalin remembered all he did as a dark signer. He then decided that even though he thinks he can't atone for every single one of his misdeeds he could possibly save Leo from going down the path of darkness.
Kalin: I have to go.
Crow: Why?
Kalin: I'm going to save Leo.
Everyone just turned to face Kalin.
Jack: Wait what?
Kalin: I've been down the path he's going down. I think I can maybe talk him out of this.
Carly: Are you sure?
Kalin: It's the best chance we have, if the primal being is as powerful as Luna says then this needs to work.
Kalin began to Leave when he saw Jack and Crow come up to him.
Jack: We're coming with you.
Crow: We're the enforcers, we'll stick together.
Kalin smiled and the three walked out of the hospital.
Luna: I just hope they can save my brother.
Carly: Don't worry they will. I hope.
Misty: I just hope Leo doesn't succeed where Rex failed.
*With Leo*
Leo was walking through the city in his normal attire so he won't draw attention to himself. His target Grieger.
Leo: Where are you Gr-
?: Hey!
Leo turned and saw Jack, Crow, and Kalin running towards him. Leo smirked, after all they brought a former dark signer to him. Leo began to run in the opposite direction. He then ran into an alleyway and was cornered by a dead end.
Kalin: No where to run little guy.
Leo turned around and transformed into his dark signer form.
Dark signer Leo: Thank you, you brought me what I needed.
Kalin: What?
Crow: Leo we n-
Leo then slid between Crow's legs and began to run away from them and another chase ensued. Leo then ran into an abandoned building and turned around. Kalin was the first to make it in because he was the fastest but Leo in response used his powers and slammed the doors the the building shut and locking Jack and Crow out in the process.
Dark signer Leo: Why are you after me?
Kalin: I'm here to get you off the path you're on.
Dark signer Leo: So you want me to stop?
Kalin: This path you walk, it won't give you any peace.
Dark signer Leo: I know why you became a dark signer, you wanted to get revenge on Yusei for something you thought he did. I became one for a different reason.
Kalin: Still, whatever your reason, don't make the same mistakes I made.
Dark signer Leo: I am happy that you came to see little old me, I need something from you.
Kalin: And what is that?
Dark signer Leo: The power of your earthbound immortal. It still resonates within you.
Kalin: If what you say is true then I can't let you have it *Activates duel disk*.
Dark signer Leo: HA HA HA, Lets see if you can keep that promise. *Activates duel disk*
(Kalin: 4000-Leo: 4000)
Dark signer Leo: I activate my spell hand destruction, we send two cards from my hand to draw two cards. I now set a card and summon Zure, knight of dark world.

Kalin: I draw and I activate infernity launcher so I send an infernity monster from my hand to the graveyard and now I summon infernity gaurdian in defense mode.

Kalin: I now set a card and end my turn.
Dark signer Leo: *Draws card* I activate dark world dealings so we now each draw a card and discard a card. Now since I discarded Sillva, warlord of dark world I get to summon him!

Kalin: I activate the trap phantom hand now I banish all the cards in my hand face down.
Dark signer Leo: Sillva attack gaurdian!
Kalin: While I have no cards in my hand my gaurdian is immune to destruction.
Dark signer Leo: *Sets two cards* go.
Kalin: *Draws card* Phantom hand now gives me back all the cards I banished with it's effect. I now activate my spell infernity paranoia now-
Dark signer Leo: I activate the trap dark deal now I pay 1000 life points and it's effect becomes discard a card in your opponent's hand.
(Kalin: 4000-Leo: 3000)
Kalin: I discard the far left card.
Dark signer Leo: You made me discard gren, tactician of dark world and his effect destroys a spell or trap so your phantom hand is destroyed.
Kalin: Then in that case I activate wave motion inferno now I send it to the graveyard to discard my entire hand. Now I activate infernity launcher now I destroy it and special summon infernity destroyer and infernity archer.
