"Why aren't you wearing a skirt?" Confused, my brother furrows his brow at the sight of me as I kneel down, looking my brother over, adjusting his yellow hat.
"Because if I have to use my quirk suddenly, I rather not wear a skirt for that also…" Sighing, I attempt to explain only to trial off, a ruby red hue to my cheeks.
"Daddy refuses he knows what sort of leechers are there in that school!" Screeching, my father flails his arm about.
"Only because you were one of them!" Irritated, I snap slamming my fist down on his temple making him cry out whimpering.
"And it was thanks to that, that I have prepared you both for those trials to come." Confidently, he places his hand on his hip.
"You're a moron now go to work." Annoyed, I deadpan, scowling at him as Hikaru turns to me.
"Yes, yes…" My father sighs as he leans over pecking our temple making me scowl, brushing him aside while my brother snickers as we head out.
"You excited?" My brother questions me as we make our way to his primary school, getting closer to it, I mean it's close to UA fortunately so…
"Not really." Frankly, I sigh.
"Why not? You'll get to meet new people!" My brother beams brightly tugging at my sleeve.
"And that's the thing." Irritated, I huff at the thought.
"They'll have quirks you can bond over that." My brother offers.
"I don't do bonding Hikaru you know that." Tiredly, I grumble under my breath.
"Awww…." He whines leaning against my hip just as we arrive at the place, noting his hesitation, furrowing his brow at the sheer sight of the school, shuffling closer to my side.
"Come on I'll be back real soon you be good okay?" Softly, I smile kneeling down, placing my hand on his shoulder. He stares at the school, my brow furrowed when noting the numerous kids outside, spotting his eyes lingering upon a certain group of boys, giving him quite the stink eye perplexing me.
"I know I just…everyone's getting their quirks and I'm…" Sadly, my brother bows his head.
"Hey…you'll find it. Sometimes it takes longer for some people." Sweetly, I whisper.
"It didn't take you long." My brother huffs, crossing his arms over his chest.
"That…was different." I tell him grimacing at the thought of him and falling…
"What if they….?" Uneasy, he asks as I notice his hands fidgeting, grabbing hold of the sketchpad in his grasp.
"Just give the normal routine answer." I answer as he obediently nods his head. It's been drilled into his head by now.
"Now come on give me that smile …" Lightly, I hit his shoulder, forcing a smile upon my lips which he sadly gives me, nodding his head. I push him forward towards the school, furrowing my brow, having no real what to make of it all. He'll be fine, he will be fine.
Right so this is it. Hmm…not many people are here yet thank goodness for that, I should see where I'm seated or something. I open the door and enter the room, approaching the desk, looking out at the layout of the seating arrangement, right so I'm near a window, eh not bad.
"Hey isn't that the…it's that girl who saved those guys at the sludge incident!" Frowning, I perk up at the voices.
"The way she took control was so manly!"
"You should have seen her during the exam she was so cool!"
"Awesome!"
"Isn't that the same girl who gets naked?" I jolt up at the perverted voice turning to scowl sharply at the blonde and grape guy.
"I can hear you." Curtly, I snap scowling making both the blonde and grape guy squeak back, squirming from my piercing glare.
"U-Um…" Nervously, both boys whimper from my icy glare.
"If you favour your balls, I suggest you shut the fuck up." Coldly, I snap scowling.
"Y-Yes mam…" Obediently, both boys bow their head to me.
"You!" Surprised, I arch a brow by the harsh roar.
"Oh…it's you. Um….Freddy?" Struggling, I furrow my brow clicking my fingertips at the first name to come to my mind.
"Freddy!? Who the fuck is Freddy?" Cursing, he snarls at me.
"My attempt at remembering your name." Honestly, I confess having no clue what his name is.
"You still don't know who I am!? You think this is funny!?" Fuming, he demands from me.
"Well not really. I mean I'm not laughing nor are you so…" Calmly, I cross my arms over my chest as he gawks at me.
"You think you're smart!?" Shouting, he demands from me.
"Not really no. Where is this conversation going exactly? Look if you're still stingy about me not remembering you, get over it there's bigger fish to fry." Firmly, I state the fact of the matter, my eyes narrowing at him.
"I'm going to be on top you got that!?" Once again, he repeats making me roll my eyes.
"Consider you keep bellowing it in my ear. I am getting the hint." Haughtily, I remark leaning against the desk.
"Just watch me." He snaps turning on his heel and storming back to his seat.
"I rather gouge my eyes out." Curtly, I snap pushing myself off the table in hopes of getting to my desk but sadly…
"Sashiko san! I was hoping we could talk my name is Tenya Iida." Irritated, I furrow my brow at the familiar blue haired rich kid.
"And here I was hoping we would be in separate classes." Cursing, I groan under my breath how did he even know my name, maybe it was…I glance over at the seating arrangement, ah makes sense…I think?
"I just want to thank you for saving me during the exam if I hadn't seen that robot who knows would have happened." Surprised, I blink taken aback as he bows before me.
"You would have gotten hurt maybe die? Who knows." Disappointed, I sigh at the sad future not coming to pass.
"Sashiko san we got off the wrong foot during the exam and I was hoping we could make amends." Earnestly, he tells me offering his hand out to me.
"It depends." I lean back scowling at him.
"Depends?" He arches a brow.
"Are you going to out someone and make them feel alienated?" Harshly, I demand from him making him frown.
"Well, I hope not too but if they were a villain and for the sake of…" He begins making me sigh.
"Yes or no that's all it is." Curtly, I snap him out of his tangent, just wanting a simple straight forward answer.
Well no." He answers.
"Then perhaps we can be classmates." I consider.
"I was hoping we could be friends." He offers his hand out to me again in a karate like chop motion.
"That's going to take a lot of effort on your end then. I tell him turning to pass him, placing my bag on my desk, taking out a familiar jacket." Nevertheless, Iida continues chatting as I look over the seating, finding Izuku's desk.
"…And if I did?" Calmly, I approach placing the jacket down.
"Clearly you are much more perspective than most and I misjudged you. I thought of you as some thug, but you have proven me wrong. I admit as a student you and Midoriya both are far superior to me." Earnestly, he confesses bowing his head ashamed almost making me sweat drop.
"Right…just going to go sit down now." Nervously, I smile not quite sure what to make of him. I go over to my seat and sit down, putting my earphones in. I watch on as life continues, watching Iida berate…blondie and then Midoriya arriving seeing everyone go crazy for the guy. After blushing when talking to the brunette he saved and talking to Iida. He glances over at the desk plan, seeing his jacket making his greens light up and meet my calm blue. Simply, I nod at him making him smile back as I then attempt to focuses on the song playing out, watching time go by until this teacher of ours perk and speaking of…
"If you're here just to make friends then you can pack up your stuff now." Grumpily, the lazy voice calls out making us turn to the caterpillar, how did he even get up the stairs!? Baffled, I arch a brow at the thought.
"Welcome to U.A's hero course. It took you all eight seconds to shut up that's not gonna work. Time is precious, rational students would understand that." He unzips himself from the bag.
"Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa you're teacher. Right put these on and head outside." He tells us, taking out some uniform as I can't help but sweat drop…feeling unnerved at the thought of wearing clothes that have no doubt been very close to this sweaty tired man…this guy is going to be an interesting teacher I'll give him that…
"What!? A quirk assessment test!?" Stunned, the class chorus. I stand by Shoji, listening to Aizawa wearing our U.A uniform consisting of a blue red and white striped uniform. I feel my fingertips brush against the slick sleeves of coal black peering out, a request I had asked and was fortunately allowed by Aizawa.
"But orientation…we're gonna miss it!" The brunette argues, furrowing her brow panic laced in her tone while I frown. Does that really matter? I mean no one really listens to those you just stay stiff in your seat waiting for it all to end or you fall asleep if you're slick about it that is. I feel my fingertips pinch the fabric peering out of my sleeves, a second layer. Anxiously I pinch it, this thread seems a bit fragile hmm…I just hope this uniform is better, I mean it should be it's for the purpose of physical activity so…
"If you really want to make the big leagues you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies. Here in U.A we're not tethered to traditions. That means I get to run my class however I see fit. You've been taking standardised tests most of your lives. But you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before. The country is still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day the ministry of education will learn. Bakuago you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam what was your farthest throw with a softball when you were in junior high?" Frowning, Aizawa tells us snapping me out of my thoughts when he calls out to blondie, oh so that's his name. Mentally, I make a note of that if I am forced to talk to that bag of hot air again. He holds up his phone revealing numerous tests for us to go through for him to record I assume as I nod my head, he has a fair point, no one in this world is born equal but we must first come to terms with that in order to find the best glacial step forward from the change that are quirks.
"Sixty-seven metres I think." Frowning, Bakugou steps forward, telling us his answer, his ruby reds looking up at the bright blue sky littered with clouds, attempting to wreck through his head to retrieve said answer.
"Right, try doing it with your quirk. Anything goes just stay in the circle. Go on your wasting our time." Aizawa commands as Bakugou steps into the circle being passed the ball.
"All right man you asked for it…Die!" Roaring, he bellows practically exploding the ball off his hands like a canon then a more normal throw.
"Die?" Midoriya squeaks out as the ball come crashing down just as Aizawa's phone lights up to reveal…705.2 metres.
"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities it's the most rational way to figuring out you're potential as a pro hero." He tells them revealing said score to us.
"Whoa seven hundred and five metres are you kidding me!?" Stunned, the blonde boy bellows.
"I wanna go that looks like fun!" Excitedly, the pink haired girl squeals clapping her hands together.
"This is what I'm talking about using our quirks as much as we want!" Pumped up, the black-haired boy grins.
"So this looks fun huh? You have three years to become a hero. You think it's going to be all games and playtime? Idiots. Today you'll compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has none and will be expelled immediately." Sadistically, Aizawa smirks smugly at us, brushing his fingers back revealing his menacingly glare at us.
"You can't send one of us home! I mean we just got here even if it wasn't the first day that isn't fair!" Feebly, the brown-haired girl calls out.
"And you think natural disasters are? Or power-hungry villains? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out all cities? No the world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to combat that unfairness. If you want to be a pro you have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, U.A is going to throw some terrible hardship after another. So, go beyond plus ultra-style. Show me that it's no mistake that you're here." Harshly, he snaps reminding her making her bow her head saddened by the truth of reality.
