"Now which one of these four sentences contains a mistake? Hey everybody look alive gramma rules!" Mic asks us as eagerly rich girl practically plunge her arm out of her socket to answer the stupid question. I roll my eyes at the goodie goodie. We sit down in class where I idly flip my pen between my fingertips, looking up now and again at the ticking time clock hanging above us.
"Sayako lay it on us!" Surprised, I jolt up from Mic's words, pointing at me, feeling a few eyes on me making me frown at the ass, clearly signalling me out as I note rich girl's disappointment at being rejected.
"Huh?" Bluntly, I blurt out.
"Which sentence contains the mistake?" Mic asks me making me sigh.
"Last one it should be please tell me all you know, that doesn't work it's unnecessary." Lazily, I lean back, furrowing my brow, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Bingo! You're on fire!" Fiery, president Mic bellows making me sigh just as the bell rings and class concludes where I watch everyone file out for their own lunch.
"Sayako that was awesome I had no clue how to answer that and you did on the spot." Startled, I flinch back at the palms planting flat on my desk, making me turn to look up at the pink haired girl, beaming brightly at me.
"It's English it's easy." Aloofly, I shrug off the unneeded praise.
"How is it easy!?" The one I believe to be called Sera gapes at me.
"Eh, I used to go to America a lot with my family." Casually, I shrug them off.
"That must have been nice." The red head one points out.
"It was…interesting." Unsure, I furrow my brow at the group forming around me not quite sure what to make of this sudden spotlight.
"Hey Sayako want to come joins us for some grub?" Pinkie asks me.
"I'm fine here." Politely, I raise my hand swiftly silencing it.
"Come on it'll be fun." Pinkie whines.
"Why? I have my food here I have no need to go to the cafeteria." Coolly, I tell them trying to be nice but I furrow my brow confused why should I waste my money when I have my food here?
"But you can talk to people, come on we're classmates we should get to know each other." Excitedly, Mina squeals wrapping her arm around me making my eyes expand. She pulls me forward making me stumble forward.
"Well…" Uncertain, I glance to the side only then to note Aoyoma taking out his napkin beginning his own meal.
"I'd be happy for some company." Cheekily, he winks making me shudder, shivering in disgust almost like food poisoning.
"Yeah, you know let's go." Quickly, I agree nodding my head and following them.
"Yay!" Mina cheers as she drags me over to the cafeteria, the guys following after us into the cafeteria where we slide into a booth and take a seat.
"So, what have you got Sayako?" Curious, Sero asks me leaning forward.
"Food." Frankly, I answer.
"You know what I mean." Chuckling, Sero snickers.
"Fine cooked food." I deadpan.
"Did you make it?" Smiling, Kirishima asks me.
"Yep." I confirm, opening mine up and beginning to munch on it as the others dig into their food. My brow furrows when staring at the peppers in my food. Hikaru isn't going to be happy to see the green pepper slices but he needs the nutrition. I just hope he doesn't try to trade it again for some candy bar, I mean he doesn't even try to hide the evidence.
"You're going to make some guy happy someday Sayako." Mineta calls out making me frown at his disgusting smile.
"Yeah no." Scowling, I frown at him, having no clue as to why he is even sat with us in the first place.
"Ah youth!" Stunned, I jolt up once again at the proud declaration turning to frown at the woman towering above us, wearing to my shock and disgust some form of BDSM attire, her hands to her cheeks, a bright tint of ruby red across her features, having some sort of fit before us. I gape at her in disgust the others go starry eyed at the woman screaming stranger danger in my head.
"I-It's M-Midnight!" Excitedly, Mineta gushes crimson oozing out as I feel my eye twitch when he goes on some sort of tangent about her attire.
"A pro hero coming to our table so cool." Kirishima beams brightly.
"This is so awesome!" Sera adds.
"I wonder what she wants?" Curious, Mina ponders.
"Excuse me sorry about this but I was wondering if I could borrow your friend for a while." Politely, she smiles down at them.
"TAKE ME! I HAVE DREAMT OF THIS MOMENT MY ENTIRE LIFE!" Wailing. Mineta screeches, ruby red spurting out of his bloodied nose while I note a few of the others brief blushes making me roll my eyes at the morons. Mina seems oblivious too enthralled by the sheer sight of the pro.
"Who do you want?" Icily, I break the joyous air around the table, my eyes narrowing up at her making her smirk, her blues narrowing at me, a sadistic smirk upon her lips. She licks her lips, making some of the boys go gaga while I wince, disgusted by the sheer sight.
"You of course!" Proudly, she points at me.
"Excuse you?" Silently, I blink a few times trying to register her declaration before scepticism sinks in. I demand an answer from her, unimpressed.
"It's only for a quick chat." Cheerily, she tells me only making my muscles tense not liking this one bit.
"Come on Sayako she's a pro maybe she wants to help you!" Mina clings to my side, beaming brightly at me.
"Yeah, midnight had an issue with her costume maybe she wants to help you with yours!" Suggestively, Mineta offers making m eye twitch, swiftly slamming my fist down on the blooded twitching body, the table comes crashing down. Mineta's body shakes, quivers, twitches lying in a blood of ruby red, crimson oozing out of his writhing form, a faint ruby red hue to his cheeks making my blood boil. We all peer down, staring judgementally down at Mineta.
"Of course you'd know that…" Revolted, I wave my arm trying to dismiss the crimson coating my knuckles.
"It'll only be a minute." Midnight winks happily at me as I flinch fearful from the sharp slam of her whip feeling her manicured ruby red nails dig deep into the fabric of my sleeve, a sadistic smirk on her lips.
"Fine." Grumbling, I huff under my breath, standing taking my meal and reluctantly following after her, going who knows where…
"So…what do ya want?" Warily, I demand from her my hands shoved into my pockets. We arrive at her office where I already feel my muscles tense up at the weirdly erotic pictures and sketches, she seems to be happily to hang up despite the many laws and issues I could see arising from her choice of décor. How the hell is this weirdo a teacher? I wouldn't let her alone near kids like Hikaru, let alone touch them, who knows what this supposed hero is capable of. I mean all she does is use her sex appeal to get popular.
"Right, Sayako you may know me as Midnight, but you can call me Nemuri!" Chirpily, she greets me, winking cheekily as I glare down at the woman, throwing herself on her bed, spinning in circles before me while my eyes narrow, this is a waste of my entire.
"I prefer Midnight…" Miserably, I deadpan, glancing at the door, if I'm quick I could…loudly, the sharp slap of her whip thing alerts me making me tense up, flinching from it. She smirks suggestively at me, cheekily winking making me grimace, wincing, stepping back disgust marred into my facial features, curling closer into myself, slowly inching away from her to the door.
"Anyway! In UA I am a councillor I'm here for students who suffer through some issues in hopes of helping them cope with U.A's schedule whether that be from homework to…" Proudly, she begins lounging leaning back in her seat as she introduces herself.
"You didn't answer my question." Annoyed, I point out just wanting to get to the topic at hand, the point of this trivial conversation, what did I do to alert her of my presence? Perhaps Mina was right about the costume thing but aren't we both at opposite side of the spectrum…
"Hah, I see so you're the type to get to the point, ah youth!" Proudly, she bellows slamming her fist into the desk, making me sweat drops when seeing the small shy cracks form underneath her fist.
"Riiiight….What do you want?" Irritated, I repeat the question inching away from her once again.
"Yes well I heard about your situation and…" She begins making me flinch frowning.
"No." Fed up, I place my hands up in mock surrender, no, no, no, not talking about this, not doing it, not doing any of this.
"Pardon?!" Startled, she gasps lunging out of her seat when seeing me storm over to the door.
"No." Firmly, I snap at her frustration laced in my tone, my blood boiling at the stranger saying things so casually things she shouldn't know of, she shouldn't know of, she shouldn't…
"You didn't even…" Feebly, she begins as I feel my grip tighten around the doorknob, my hand shaking, quivering, quaking around the door knob bowing my head, feeling my nails scratch against it, stop…stop…stop…pained, I bow my head at the sharp stinting ache in my chest, releasing slow shaky breath, trying to count like dad said like dad said just count, catch your breath…
1…2…3…4…
"You don't need too; I know what you're offering and I'm fine I don't need it." Intensely, I tell her my grip tightening around the doorknob feeling small shards of drops cascade down my trembling form.
5…6…
"What do you mean?" Gently, she whispers as I grind my teeth together. I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine, everything is fine, this…this is normal now, this is normal, this is…
7…8…
"Look councillors are nothing but lazy people who pretend to listen to someone's issues but in the end do nothing about it. I've seen your type before and I rather not waste my time on that when I could be as you stated studying…" Tiredly, I sigh pushing myself off the doorknob briefly bowing my head at her genuine concern, appreciating it but I just…I'm fine with it, I knew it was going to happen eventually. I'm…I'm fine. She seems to care but I don't need this, I dealt with it and I'm fine, this is how life is now whether I like it or not I can't change things not that I want to.
"I assure you I am not like the other councillors you've faced…" She promises me making me wince at the sharp sting in my temple. My fingertips pinch the bridge of my nose when briefly seeing him…reaching out to me…and I…they were all screaming, shouting, screeching and I just…I…
"Other councillors?" Alarmed, my eyes expand, feeling my blood turn ice cold, turning to frown at her, feeling my chest constrict once more, my heart hammering against my rib cage.
"Oh yes! When you came into U.A we look into each of their student records." She reveals said record, tossing it on the table.
"Without their consent?" Scowling, I dart over to her desk, swiftly snatching the file, opening it, rushing through it, my eyes expanding to see the image of a young boy looking solemn, sad, bored at the camera. His pale blonde locks dangle down, his blank blues gaze at the camera, bags etched into his features, looking so tired, so done, so fed up with it all.
"Your guardian gave us his request. I promise you I understand the...sensitivity of the situation and promise you. I will not disclose it to anyone." Earnestly, she promises me making me scoff…Not like you can anywhere. Doubt that rat would be pleased if you did. Tch…Of course he bloody did. Even then even if she did decide to spread it, she would be swiftly silenced no doubt about that.
"Says here you were meant to go to your councillor Miss Saki for your last year but you never went why is that?" Truthfully, she asks leaning back in her seat while I sigh.
"As the name implied she was a bit busy for me if you catch my drift." Politely, I gesture.
"I am never busy for one of my precious students! I assure you although your school prior did not give you the counselling you deserve we are here to help you through your transaction…" Softly, she smiles at me making my eyes narrow, scepticism marred into my facial features.
"Just like you were with the others, because you lot can just magical fix things can you? Look, I'm fine. I really am. It happened just got to deal with it." Tiredly, I sigh done with it all as I turn and open the door.
"There's nothing wrong with talking about it." Desperate, she leans over the desk as I simply side glare at the idiot.
"There's a lot wrong with that sort of logic now if you excuse me, I got classes to attend. I don't need it. I'm fine, I really am. Good day." Politely, I leave her office, hoping to never see her again as I make my way to lesson.
