"Sayako how are you?" Midnight begins making me furrow my brow as I am practically thrown into the chair with her strutting over to her own chair.

"What do you think?" Unimpressed, I scowl at her crossing my arms over my chest leaning back in my seat.

"From what I saw you raised your blade to your fellow classmate." Midnight begins making me sigh.

"Oh for the…it was a battle session." Annoyed, I point out.

"You do not raise your blade against your fellow student." Formally, she recites making me roll my eyes at her.

"It was practice! Why are people being so snippy about it?" Irritated, I shove my hands into her pockets.

"Because thanks to your little stunt, a few on the board are concerned." Honestly, Midnight tells me.

"They needn't be besides they can't judge me you literally have a teacher who could burst blood cells and kill someone with a snip of their fingertips." Fairly, I point out.

"That if he chooses to." She argues.

"And I chose not to slit her throat." Defensively, I counter.

"Do you not see how people are avoiding you?" Midnight points out making me scowl.

"And I should care why?" Sceptical, my eyes narrow at her.

"They are your classmates you could be working for them in the future." Midnight reminds me.

"If I make it that far that is. Besides I doubt it. They all want the same thing." Aloofly, I point out.

"And what's that?" Midnight queries arching a brow at me.

"Fame. To be number one because that matters apparently…" I scoff shrugging my shoulders.

"What do you think it means to be a hero?" Curious, Midnight asks me making me raise a brow by the question.

"So long as you are doing your part for the city, saving lives preventing deahts that should matter. Popularity shouldn't matter, it's the effort they put behind their work that should be praised not some stupid flashy quirk." Frankly, I explain to her.

"As much as I agree with you, life isn't like that." Midnight answers.

"You think I don't know that? All Might was going on and on about the good side of heroes, he was glorifying it, he pissed me off." Offended, I glower at him.

"So, you went against his wishes?" Midnight furrows her brow.

"Those classmates of mine want to be heroes they need to know what they are getting into. They can hate me they can detest me; they can want me out of here, I don't care. Some people should be heroes and others not, you have to make those decisions and they just rugh!" Frustrated, I explain to her, seething snarling, spewing out smoke almost.

"I understand your frustration I do more than you know. But they don't know that yet…" Patiently, Midnight explains to me.

"How can they want to be heroes if they have no idea what they are getting into?" I point out.

"Why are you doing it?" Midnight questions me.

"Money. If I can save a few lives great but that's it." I answer.

"Is that really the reason?" Sceptical, Midnight queries.

"I don't know what you mean." I glance to the side.

"I think you do. I know there's more to it than that Rei. I know you can be more but for that to happen you need to communicate with your classmates, teamwork is vital in the world of heroes." Honestly, Midnight explains to me.

"Why? Why can't I do what you do?" Mockingly, I scoff at her.

"I work with people sometimes." She tells me.

"At least those people don't get in the way or chat babble…" Bitterly, I grumble under my breath.

"They will get better; you need to give them a chance to improve…" Midnight sighs.

"For that to happen, they would need to give me a chance." Snippily, I huff.

"You need to take a step forward to do that." She tells me.

"Tch, I'll do whatever I damn want…" I scoff, poison laced in my tone.

"Sayako…I know you're going through a lot right now…but taking it out on your classmates. Do you think dealing out pain just because you're in pain is okay? Not very hero like if you ask me." Midnight sighs at me.

"I wasn't taking it out on them. Those kids have no clue what it's like being a hero! They think it's all about glory and I simply gave them a wakeup call, this is serious, this isn't fun, this isn't…" Fuming, I try to explain seething.

"Sayako…" Gently, Midnight begins.

"No. I'm done. They can hate me, they can I REALLY don't care, I don't care for any of them." Icily, I snap scowling down at the ground below.

"And you think isolating yourself will help you?" Midnight points out.

"Why do I have to work with strangers? I don't know them!" Enraged, I snap standing up from my seat seething.

"And they only know you from putting a blade to a fellow student's neck. And you think inflicting pain upon others just because you're in pain is okay? Is hero behaviour, you could be expelled Sayako?" Coldly, Midnight points out crossing her arms over her chest making my eyes narrow into thin slits from her words.

"And if I am I am no big deal." Lazily, I lean back in my seat.

"Sayako I don't think you mean that…" Midnight sighs sadly at me.

"What would you know? I didn't come here to be the next all might or endeavour like the rest of these naïve dumbasses. I know the real world I know how shitty it truly is." Firmly, I snap scowling, slamming my palm down on her desk, seething snarling scowling.

"Sayako…I don't think that's true…" Midnight problems placing her own hand on her desk standing up.

"Excuse you?" Harshly, I bark at her, the pair of us glaring darkly at one another.

"You've only experienced the bad end of the world not all of it. There is good in the world, there are people we want to care for. So tell me why did you become a hero?" Yet again she repeats that annoying question making me seethe.

"For stability, I got a quirk might as well make use of it." Lazily, I dismiss her.

"I don't think that's it." Midnight tells me surprising me.

"What?" My eyes expand taken aback by her words.

"I don't think that's it. I think you're still trying to find it." Honestly, Midnight tells me.

"You don't know me stop acting as if you do!" Defensively, I snap at the heaving huffing, my hand planted on my trembling chest, wincing at the hammering heart in my chest, wincing.

"What I do know is your father was disgraced as a hero that must have…" Gently, Midnight begins making me freeze, flinching from her words.

"What my father did was the right thing, he took a child in when no one would have." Firmly, I state the fact of the matter, bowing my head.

"Strange how one day there would be a supposed attack on that school according to you two when your entire class were attacked and woke up with bite marks on them, not knowing anything." Feebly, she begins.

"Seems there are more villains out there than you realize…" Dedicated, I deadpan.

"After that numerous people came out with stories of him even your father's sidekicks." Midnight points out.

"As if you can talk midnight. Besides, they were thinking for themselves that's all they ever do, take down the man that took them in and rise up because that is what heroes are nowadays filthy moneygrubbing monsters! My father took in someone who was foreign to this land, who was scared, who was alone in this world and gave him an environment where he could thrive, where he could be happy, where he could choose what he wanted to be. While the other heroes simply turned their back to him! Leaving it up to the authorities because you can trust them just like you can trust the heroes!" Disgusted, I seethe shaking my head at her stupidity, that's all sidekicks do what heroes do, looking out for themselves.

"And you want to be part of that?" Midnight furrows her brow.

"Fuck no." Crudely, I deadpan.

"There is it! AH YOUTH!" Proudly, she grins from ear to ear perplexing me, taking aback by her words as she slams her heel onto the desk.

"Excuse you!" Stunned, I bark taken aback by her declaration seeing steam spew out of her nostrils taking me aback.

"Ah youth you want to be a hero to stop people like that leeching off hero work its admirable!" Animatedly, she gushes creeping me out.

"We're done here." Fed up, I place my hands up once more turning to the door.

"I'll see you next s-" She begins saluting me.

"Go to hell!" Harshly, I bark at her slamming the door shut as I go through it storming, stomping into class.

"I just want to be on my own…" Curtly, I snap turning on my heel after arising from my seat and turning to the door, slamming it open and storming out, done with it, done with her, done with everything…

"Ah I see you finally decided to join us Sashiko." Annoyed, Aizawa greets me as I slide the door open scowling at the sheer sight of the asshole teacher.

"Bold of you to assume I had a choice in being late and it's Sasaki not Sashiko." Snippily, I huff walking over to my desk, grumbling under my breath.

"Just take a seat so homeroom can begin." Tiredly, Aizawa sighs shaking his head at me placing his papers down on the desk.

"Fine, whatever…" I mutter grumbling in my seat.

"Decent work on yesterday's combat training you guys. I saw your video feed and went over each of your teams results. Bakugo you're talented so don't sulk like a child about a loss okay?" Sternly, Aizawa calls out to him looking down at his papers.

"Yeah whatever…" Bakugo huffs shrugging him off.

"Whatever. Sasaki you went too far with the knife it was a underhanded tactic." Aizawa points out making my eyes narrow.

"It still won me the match. Fairly, I point out crossing my arms over my chest.

"Your methods was still too harsh at this stage." Strictly, Aizawa tells me.

"At this stage…! Urgh whatever continue keeping these bunch of brats naive to the real world see how useful they'll be when darker scenarios arise." Frustrated, I seethe in exasperation, shaking my head at him.

"You're lucky to even be here after a stunt like that." Aizawa asserts.

"Tch…" I scoff clicking my tongue at the ass.

"And Midoriya, I see the only way you won the match was by messing with your arm again. Work harder and don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your quirk that lines already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here but your quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. So, show a little urgency huh?" Aizawa continues his lecture towards Midoriya who squeaks back bowing his head from the feedback.

"Right!" Midoriya squeaks out flustered ruby red squirming in his seat.

"Let's get down to business our first task will decide your future you all need to pick a class representative." Aizawa announces to us. I note the others exhale relieved while I furrow my brow, a part of me disappointed wanting something fun, something interesting, something exciting to happen.

"Pick me up I wanna be class rep!" Eagerly, Ejiro raises his hand to the high heavens.

"I'll take it." Kaminari raises his hand too.

"Yeah you're gonna need me." Casually, Jiro adds in, raising her hand in the air.

"Someone with st-"

"I'm totally the right pick!" Excitedly, Mina cuts Frenchie off.

"Noisy…" Tiredly, I grumble under my breath as I note Tokoyami by my side seem to share the same idea, sharing the same pain with me as we watch our crazed classmates go mental.

"Silence everyone! Please! The class representative's duty is to lead others that's not something anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the only way we can fill his position is democratically we will hold an election to choose our leader." Loudly, Tenya bellows raising his hand in the air as we all sweat drop at the shaking hand.

"It's pretty obvious you want us to vote for you…

"Is this really the best idea?" Sceptical, Kirishima furrows his brow.

"We've only known each other for a few days. How do we know who we can trust?" Tsuyu adds.

"Besides everyone will just vote for themselves." Kirishima adds.

"Bold of you to assume I would do that." Cockily, I smirk smugly.

"Most people will but that will show those that receive the most votes are truly the most suitable person for the job it's the best way right sir?" Smiling, Tenya tells us turning to Aizawa.

"Do what you want just decide before my nap's over." Lazily, Aizawa grumbles falling flat to the ground returning to his cocoon of a sleeping bag, making me frown. How can he sleep after crashing down like that? You son of a…don't sleep through your responsibility's bastard!

"Thank you for your trust!" Tenya thanks us as we begin voting, where while others think I just pick the two people coming to my head as the votes are collected and…

Izuku Midoriya – 3

Momo Yaoyorozu – 2

Surprised, my eyes widen when seeing one vote on my name, I didn't even want to be a part of this stupid election what the heck!? Who on earth voted for me!?

"Okay who voted for him!?" Angrily, Bakugo bellows, screeching glaring at Midoriya who stands shaking at the news.

"If I said I did this out of pure spite to you how would yo feel?" Smugly, I lean back in my seat.

"I'll kill you!" Screeching, Bakugo roars at me.

"So…neutral then?" Casually, I shrug as he screeches.

"Did you honesty think someone was going to vote for you?" Smirking, Kaminari snickers.

"What did you just say?" Bakugo screeches.

"Real subtle Ochako…" I sweat drop at the sight of her innocent whistling.

"Someone…voted for me?" Stunned, Tenya gapes at his result showing a measly one vote.

"So you voted for someone else huh?" Yaoyorozu sighs.

"The best thing you can do is vote for yourself right? What were you trying to prove here Iida?" Confused, Sato furrows his brow at Tenya.

"Alright the class rep is Midoriya and our deputy is Yaoyorozu." Aizawa sighs as I note Tenya hunch over his seat wallowing in self-pity at his loss.

"Really? It's not a mistake." Midoriya squeaks shocked.

"Urgh…how did this happen?" Groaning, Yaoyorozu huffs under her breath from her new title. Trust me when I say this rich girl I'm as lost as you are.

"This might not be so bad." Optimistically, Tsuyu beams brightly at the results of our new presidents, the vice and deputy or something I don't know…

"Yeah I can get behind Midoriya I guess…" Kirishima smiles warmly excited, giddiness laced in his tone just as the bell rings and it's lunch, where we begin packing or well the others do while I simply get out my book, ready to do some light reading…or so I thought.
