Too long
"I know you have all been waiting for me, but there is something I need to do now,"
Sango and Miroku looked slightly concerned. "We understand," Miroku leaned into his staff, still off balance.
"Met you back at the village? "Sango asked,
Kagome nodded with her bright smile, waved, and then turned and walked straight to Sesshomaru. "I need to go to the well," She then walked by him. He looked at her, back to her friends, and then back to her. Without a word, he followed. He half expected his brother to throw a fit, but he was met with dead silence. The only thing louder than the silence was the scent of her tears.
But she said nothing, and they walked without a word between them. He gave her a glance. Her eyes were fierce, and her face gave nothing away.
Save the single tear that ran down her cheek. It sparkled with power, and when it kissed the ground, it left new life growing. A flower as bright as the sun, and he knew he was no longer just in the presence of a mere mortal girl anymore. But a woman with the power to rival his own.
She was no longer Kagome holder of the jewel.
She was the jewel, and her name was indeed "Kagome,"
He had to admit he had gone too long without calling her by her given name.
