To Make You Wait..

He was impressed. But that feeling was fleeting as he felt a chill up his spine. He wanted to growl but didn't.

"My, my, I had to come see for myself,"

Kagome had her bow out and pointed before the words made it all the way out of the demoness's mouth.

"What are you going to do with that?" The demoness asked, waving her arms out to show she was no threat. Still, Kagome held her bow up but then looked between the woman and Sesshomaru and back again. Slowly she lowered her bow. "Wait, you have a twin sister?"

The demoness laughed. "Sesshomaru, do introduce your mother to this wonderful creature, do not make her wait any longer."

Kagome dropped her bow and her mouth open.

"Mother,"

"I am Inukimi, Queen of Inu, mother to that," She pointed to Sesshoamru,

Kagome looked at Sesshomaru. "Does anyone know about her?"

"No,"

"What horrible son I have, never visit and tells no one that I exist,"

Kagome rose an eyebrow at him as if to question if what his mother was saying was true, and it was, but it was because she liked it that way.

"Is Naraku dead?" His mother asked,

"Indeed,"

"And Inuyasha,"

"Alive,' Sesshomaru told her.

His mother moved closer. "And will you be mating the half breed,"

Kagome put her hands up. "You got the wrong Miko," She said,

"I beg your pardon?"

"Inuyasha will mate the one known as Kikyo," Sesshomaru told her,

"But she is clay and dirt,"

"How does she know all this?" Kagome asked the tall Lord beside her; he gave her no answer. Kagome cleared her throat. "The jewel gave them a second chance,"

"You are the jewel, and I don't believe in second chances,"

Kagome shrugged her shoulders, making Sesshomaru eye her. Was that her doing?

"Do not do that, Miko, it is unbecoming," His mother snapped,

Kagome peered up at Sesshomaru, waiting for him to do or say anything. He looked back at his mother. "Why have you abandoned the moon palace, mother,"

"To meet her, of course,"

He narrowed his eyes; she could have summed the girl up.
