There's just one left.

There was just one more matter to clear up before she said yes.

"So you will revive him?"

"Um, sure, but can we go back to the baby thing?"

"It is of little matter,"

"Shouldn't Sesshomaru take over?"

"If he were mated, and that mate was pupped sure,"

"Can't he just do that now?"

"Are you offering a bargain for my mate's life?"

"I am not a bargaining tool," Sesshomaru added.

Kagome was getting a whole new headache.

"Let us revive his Lordship; after all, it will be this thrown to give,"

Kagome looked at Sesshomaru and bit her lip. Was this the right thing to do? She knew for Inuyasha it would be.

"You worry for him," His mother watched Kagome's face,

But Kagome didn't answer; she kept her blue eyes on him.

"Do as you please," He finally said,

"But will it displease you," She still felt unsure.

He turned; what did it matter anyway?

Kagome took a chance and grabbed his arm. He slowly looked down at her offending hand, then up to her eyes. "Please," She begged.

Could it be that he was afraid to see his father again, and why was she so hell-bent on getting his blessing?

"I like having you as an ally, Sesshomaru. I dont want to mess that up, but we are talking about a life; I've taken so many, and," She looked down and stopped touching him. "I dont know if ill ever be able to give life, and I know it's not the same thing-

"Kagome,"

She looked up at him,

"I will meet my father again and fulfill my promise to surpass him; it matters not if he is dead or alive when I accomplish that,"
