"Oh old man hey…" Causally, I salute my ass of a father sucking on the strawberry and cheery lollipops in my mouth making my father scowl when finding me on his desk.

"What are you doing young lady!?" Harshly, he demands from me hands on hips.

"Helping myself to some sweets. Rightfully so may I add." I argue revealing my stitched palms making him sigh.

"You're meant to take one not two." Huffing, my father grumbles swiftly stealing a apple flavoured lollipop plopping it into his mouth.

"Hey, you're lucky I didn't take a sticker." Snippily, I huff smirking slyly.

"Really?" Tiredly, my father sighs plopping himself on his seat, trying to write a prescription.

"Oh, don't give me that look. I'll give one to Hikaru don't think I don't see you sneaking him sweets." Snidely, I remind him.

"W-Well…it's the only way to get him to eat his green peppers! Anyway how's your eye?" He places his foot on his desk, pushing himself off his desk using his wheely chair to turn to the patient, passing her the prescription dismissing her.

"Well, I can see out of it so that's something." Optimistically, I offer as he rolls over, taking out a torch form his breast pocket.

"Good." He hums doing a quick look over for himself as I flinch from the bright light in my eye.

"Ow what was that for?" Annoyed, I cry out as he pinches my cheek.

"You held a knife to a student's throat why did you not tell me!?" Icily, he demands from me making me groan as he stretches my cheek making me wince from the sharp sting.

"Because I'd knew you'd react like this." Tiredly, I sigh leaning back on my father's bed thing.

"What were you thinking!?" He demands from me.

"I was teaching them that recommended students are nothing but spoiled brats." Bitterly, I sneer.

"Sayako…" Sighing, my father's eyes soften.

"They think they are so much better because they were recommended, that sort of smugness I hate people looking down on you, it means nothing we're all equal. Recommendations shouldn't exist we should all prove ourselves." Honestly, I tell him how it is.

"Sayako…" My father sighs once more.

"She thought she was so much better than us classier it pissed me off. So I did something about it." Irritated, I deadpan.

"Well, she gave me something…" He passes me some folded clothes?

"What you mean is she told on me, tch rich kids are nothing but brats…" I scoff shaking my head only to falter from the clothes presented.

"Your classmates were concerned for you even the supposed rich kids you mentioned. She gave me this." He tells me as my eyes expand when unfolding the clothes to reveal…

"This is…" I whisper stunned shocked to see my costume.

"Your costume she made it for you. She most likely knew of your quirk's drawbacks. Do you feel good about yourself now?" He informs me before asking me, arching a brow making me groan falling flat to the table bed thing once more, groaning at the wave of disappointment and guilt flowing through me.

"What do you think?" Snippily, I snap at the ass crossing his arms over his chest.

"Sayako…I know today was scary but please talk to me, what happened? Who stabbed you? That wound wasn't dangerous it was precise, intentional…they didn't want to kill you." Gently, my father sighs joining me on the bed as I feel his hand on my shoulder as I stare down at my feet moving up and down, feeling my fingertips curl inwards.

"You won't believe me if I told you…" Sadly, I whisper pained at the memory of it all.

"Sayako." Sternly, my father furrows his brow at me as I look up, my teary bleus gazing into his stern stoic blue.

"It was Basil…Basil was there." Hurt, I confess bowing my head unable to look him in the eye.

"Wh…what?" Stunned, my father blinks taken aback.

"He…he isn't well dad; he was flipping from one mood to another he isn't well dad." Upset, I confess, my voice quaking, quivering, shivering at the memory of how flippant he was remembering seeing the bodes come crashing down, all from one swift strike and yet with me, he spared me, why? What does he hope to achieve?

"Basil…." I feel my father squeeze my shoulder both of us pained at the thought of him.

"What do we do dad? I made sure to keep it low so no one questions…do I tell the teachers about him or…?" Uncertain, I question my father only to blink taken aback when he brings me into his arms, feeling his lips press against my temple.

"You were so brave. You have made me so proud being this strong so please leave it to me." Confidently, my father smiles at me giving me the thumbs up.

"Dad…" Uncertain, I trial off staring down at my fidgeting fingertips anxious.

"Just trust me on this Sayako. You tried to help him that's more than most have done for him but please leave it to the adults. Come on let's head home." Happily, he smiles at me, winking cheekily at me as he drapes his arm over me.

"But wait don't you have work?" Confused, I argue.

"Nah. I've done enough for the day." My father tells me.

"You can decide that?" Baffled, I blink taken aback.

"When it comes to my family, I will do what I like. You lot come first before anything else…" Confidently, he assures me placing his hand over my temple ruffling my blonde roots.

"You're such an idiot…" I huff placing my head on his shoulder making him laugh.

"But I'm your idiot." Lovingly, he smiles shyly at me placing his head on top of mine. The pair of us smile softly before nodding at one another as we jump off the bench and leave the hospital, dad signing out as I get in the car, the two of us finally heading home for me to enjoy this week off.

"We're home." Dad calls out as he slides the door open where I step through, my bag thrown over my shoulder as I enter my home.

"Dad!" Happily, Hikaru rushes over to our father, jolting up from his seat, dropping down to run over, wrapping his arms around dad's leg.

"Hey tiger had fun?" Gently, my dad smiles softly at him, leaning down to place his hand on Hikaru's head, his fingertips combing through my brother's brown roots while I glance to the side, turning to leave that is until feeling some sort of force to tug at my trouser leg making me halt in my steps. I turn to look down at the boy tugging at my trouser.

"Hikaru you okay buddy?" Lost, I quirk my head to the side furrowing my brow, last I checked he and I were arguing what's changed? Perplexed, I furrow my brow at the boy clinging to my side. I reach down placing my hand on his shoulder my eyes expanding when my baby blues look into his glassy green when he lets out a choked sob, screaming the tears freely falling.

"You were hurt!" He whimpers clinging to me, his voice cracking breaking as I kneel down.

"Hey, hey I'm fine see I'm here." Tentatively, I whisper furrowing my brow as I place my hands on his shoulders, lightly rubbing his shoulders as he sniffles. I use my thumb to brush aside the streams of tears descending down his cheeks, my ears hearing his pained cries.

"S-Sai…I thought you died or or-!" Heaving, he whimpers cradling my trouser legs making me sigh.

"Relax, here I got you one too…" Optimistically, I tell him taking him out of the apple flavoured lollipop passing it over to him making him sniffle, finely pinching it between his fingertips, sniffling, trying to stop the tears from freely falling.

"Hikaru?" Confused, I furrow my brow when he sniffles ignoring the sweet to reach out, his small fingertips shakily reaching out to my bloodied eye, making his eyes dilate in horror.

"Y-You're hurt your eye!" Horrified, he whimpers gaping at the sheer sight of my bloodied eye.

"Hm? Oh, don't worry this it'll heal." Lazily, I wave him off assuring him, smirking, lowering his hand from my eye not really enjoying the finger so close to my eye.

"I…I the tv said there was a…" Wobbling, my brother whimpers bowing his head making me sigh feeling my fingertips comb through his brown roots.

"Whoa what's…what's wrong?" Panicked, I furrow my brow quirking my head to the side at the sight of the crying boy.

"There was an attack and…and…" Upset, my brother exclaims, pain laced in his tone.

"I'm fine Hikaru I'm fine see nothing bad." Earnestly, I assure him promising him, a soft smile on my lips as his glassy green meet my own.

"Nothing to the untrained eye perhaps…" Startled, I blink taken aback by the cool cold voice making me feel nothing but dread, pain and anger flow through my now boiling blood. Hikaru shouldn't be here he shouldn't have to witness this. I glance over at my aunt who notes my furious form.

"I'm taking Hikaru to bed." I wrap my arms around Hikaru turning on my heel and heading up the stairs, ready to take the rather obedient Hikaru to bed, feeling him cling to me. I turn my back to them and it, leaving them to deal with the thing while I handle Hikaru, heading upstairs to take him to bed.

"Please don't be mad…I was scared. Aunty Kiyoko tried to help me but I just…I phoned the agency and…and…" Whimpering, my brother's voice begins to crack, break once more making me sigh. I kneel down after tucking him glancing over at the messy room, crayons and papers littered all over the place, noting the aisle to the side, the sketches pinned to the wall alongside the magazines messily splattered all over.

"Hikaru…" Tiredly, I sigh placing myself down on his bed as he curls in on his pillow sniffling.

"I was so scared! I thought I was going to lose you too, I can't…I already lost…a-and I thought you…you…" Upset, my brother's voice cracks once again breaking my heart as I place my hand on his head.

"Hey it's alright, it's okay it's going to take a lot more than that to take me down." Softly, I smile, combing my fingertips through his hair as he sniffles.

"I…I thought being a hero was all fun, but you could have…weren't you scared?" Lost, he questions looking up at me peering up through his pillow making me sigh.

"Of course not!" Sadly, I lean over the bed staring down at my shaking quaking fingertips, forcing a strained smile on my lips.

"Eh? Really? But all those villains…why? You could have died!" Baffled, he gapes at me making me sigh, grimacing. I can't tell him if I do it'll only worry him even more.

"Someone has to besides I made it out of there didn't I? I learned and I know what to look out for next time." Simply, I state the fact of the matter glaring down at my stitched hand, curling my fingertips over it not wanting him to see that scar.

"I thought you had…" He whispers bowing his head.

"I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." I assure him.

"You promise?" He looks up at me.

"I promise." Softly, I smile nodding my head as he finally settles down, letting me leave his room, not without doing some quick rearranging as I then slowly but surely reluctantly of course head down the stairs.

"Sayako…please before you get mad!" Panicked, Kiyoko begins as I note my father's pensive expression, keeping his head down staring at his coffee, noting him glancing at me now and again, worry marred into his expression making me sigh when feeling all eyes on me, including its...

"Before I get mad, I should at least know why you're here." Scowling, I cross my arms over my chest.

"I came to see you." He answers.

"Last I checked you no longer have any obligation towards me, towards Hikaru, towards any of us…daddy dearest." Dryly, I greet the fool standing tall and proud in his civilian attire consisting of suspender trousers with a dress shirt of some sort with his scarf strapped to his neck, his blonde roots matching my own remain slanted in his signature fringe covering his dark, heavily lashed left eye while a stray strand of my own blonde root dangles down, covering my right eye. I lean against the doorframe crossing my arms over my chest unimpressed as I address the number four hero Best Jeanist.
