"Izuku Midoriya Is first! He's our champion!" Excitedly, President Mic proclaims to the high heavens causing the crowd to roar excitedly at their new champ where Midoriya stands shocked over his achievement as the others soon come filing in. Panting, Midoriya has his hands over his knees, heaving, huffing, trying to regain his breath from the run. Confetti comes crashing down, celebrating his win while Sayako curls in on herself, heaving, on her hands and knees, trying desperately to keep her closes on as Midoriya sheds tears of triumph of pride…of…emotion.

"3rd huh not bad. Hey, don't suppose someone could lend me a shirt or something?" Sayako calls out weakly, clutching tightly to her gear but the roaring of the crowd falls to deaf ears as she bows her head dejected, rejected by being answered with silence, a part of her praying for the staff or anyone to notice her struggle but…

"Sayako are you okay?" Surprised, Sayako jolts up at the voice, her jade greens meeting a pair of concerned green.

"Yeah just…need a minute." Meekly, Sayako whispers.

"I guess all that running took it out of you, I don't blame you." Weakly, Midoriya meekly smiles.

"That's not it exactly…" Awkwardly, she tries to answer grimacing.

"Huh?" Confused, Midoriya blinks perplexed by her confident friends' shy side peering in.

"One wrong move and I could be bare to the world." Grimly, she confesses.

"O-Oh!" Blushing, Midoriya gasps, ruby red filtering in.

"Yep." Sayako sighs slumping her shoulders just as Midoriya is about to offer his aid when…

"Oi the hell are you doing on the ground?" Angrily, Bakuago bellows making her groan and Midoriya meekly scoot back slightly from his killer glare.

"Give me your shirt!" Sternly, she demands from him taking him aback.

"No god damn way!" Angrily, Bakugo roars at her.

"Then I ain't moving!" Stubbornly, she snaps at him.

"Why not?!" Enraged, Bakugo glares at her.

"I ain't flashing the world dumbass!" Sayako screams at him only making him seethe. The two scream at one another making Midoriya distance himself from the scream match between both victors.

"How…could this happen?" Pained, Tenya bows his head ashamed by his ranking.

"Two birds with one stone I'm a genius." Giddily, Mineta smirks smugly, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks.

"You…are the worst." Disgusted, Momo huffs, head down in shame as Mineta cackles having used his balls stuck to Momo's back to make it to the next round.

"Sayako what are you doing on the floor?" Flabbergasted, Momo raises a brow when seeing Sayako on the floor.

"If I move my shirt falls." Grimly, she confesses.

"Oh! Is there something wrong with?" Momo whispers kneeling down to her classmate.

"Momo, my bra is already gone." Hissing, Sayako whispers.

"O-Oh dear!" Momo gasps.

"Boobies!" Mineta lunges over.

"Mineta go to hell!" Sayako snaps as Mineta moves in only to be met by the swift fist from Sayako causing him to crash into the wall, cracks forming into the crater based bed Mineta founds himself tucked into.

"I'm so sorry Sayako I don't think I have…I have enough lipocytes to do it maybe when I'm given some food I can." Apologetic, Momo bows her head ashamed in not aiding her fellow classmate.

"It's…it's cool." Strained, Sayako smiles internally screaming at the situation she has found herself in.

"Are you sure?" Momo furrows her brow.

"Not really but it's fine just gonna shuffle nope not doing that." Quickly, she tries to adjust only to dive down in on herself once again when feeling the thread begin to drop off.

"Sayako?" Shoji furrows his brow at the sight of the squirming boy.

"Shoji hey heh…" Awkwardly, Sayako smiles greeting the taller male she has to look up at.

"What are you doing on the floor?" Perplexed, Shoji quirks his head to the side.

"I can't really move right now." Shyly, she sighs.

"How come?" He furrows his brow.

"Um well…if I move now a certain thread may be let loose and…" Snippily, she tries to explain only then to turn to glare at Mineta staring at her, salvia sliding down his mouth making Shoji frown.

"Here." Shoji furrows his brow, removing his shirt revealing his white tank top as he drapes his U.A shirt over her form.

"Oh thanks." Surprised, Sayako blinks taken aback by the layer.

"It's alright." Shoji nods his head as Sayako smile shyly, slowly standing up, wrapping the huge piece of cloth around her form.

"Whoa how huge are you? Heh!" Chuckling, Sayako snickers gaping at the sheer size of the baggy shirt draped over her form.

"Apologies." He bows his head.

"Don't be this is really comfy." Smiling, she assures him, smiling softly up at him.

"It is?" Shoji blinks taken aback.

"Yeah, then again I've always had a soft spot for baggy stuff, heh thanks again Shoji I mean it." Earnestly, Sayako confesses to him, smiling softly scratching her cheek slightly.

"It's alright, you're a friend I'm sure you would do the same for me." Mezo asserts.

"Sure but I doubt my stuff would fit yours." Fairly, Sayako points out.

"That isn't…" Shoji sighs slumping his shoulders at her as they go to get in line with the others.

"The first game for the first year is finally over what a game it was now let's take a quick look at the standing shall we?" Easily, Midnight's voice overpowers Mezo's as they make their way over to the others where Mic stands before the bored, announcing a break.

"All those in the top 42 will proceed to the next round but don't feel too let down if you didn't make the cut. We've prepared other opportunities for you to shine. Now the real fun is about to begin. The chance to fully move you into the limelight. Give it your best! Let's see what we have in store for you next will your wildest fantasies come to life or what will be awaiting be torture, prepare yourselves for this…!" Midnight explains to the crowd.

"She's getting way too into this." Frowning, Sayako notes as she stands in the crowd having returned Shoji's shirt after adjusting her new shirt, relieved that due to the power of censorship, they had to get her a new uniform.

"Cavalry battle? I'm terrible at those." Kaminari whines, furrowing his brow.

"When have you ever done one?" Perplexed, Sayako furrows her brow at him.

"I wonder how they'll split us up." Tsuyu wonders.

"Allow me to explain. The participants will form into teams of three to four into how they see fit in theory its basically the same as any other playground game". Midnight gestures to her board where Thirteen, Mic and All Might are shown on the board to be in that cavalry position.

"What playground plays this!?" Perplexed, Sayako furrows her brow.

"But there is one difference each player has been assigned a point value based on the results of the obstacle course." Midnight adds in ignoring Sayako's scowl.

"I get it a point-based system like the entrance exams that seems pretty simple." Tsuyu notes.

"So that means people will have a different point value based on the people formed." Ochako explains.

"Maybe you should shut up and let me explain things!" Mad, Midnight snaps at both girls interrupting her.

"My therapist everyone." Dryly, Sayako mutters under her breath, unimpressed, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Now then the point system started by going up in fives starting from the bottom…" Midnight attempts to explain as the others listen in well all except Sayako whose bored greens soon darken as she begins zoning out, boredom consuming her until…

"Huh?" Sayako blinks taken aback by the swift snap of fingertips before her, making her turn for her greens to meet a pair of lilac.

"You zoned out didn't you?" Bored, Shinshou sighs as her alert greens glance over, seeing everyone having split up into groups, how long had she zoned out!?

"Can you blame me?" Meekly, she smiles scratching the back of her neck.

"Want to work together?" Shinsho sighs surprising her.

"I'm surprised you're letting me on your team." Truthfully, Sayako confesses.

"You're useful." Curtly, he snaps.

"Eh why not for old times' sake heh?" Amused, she smirks making him smirk back.

"For old times' sake is what you call it. I'm simply looking out for myself." Coldly, he asserts making her roll her eyes amusement clear on her face.

"You know if you did get into my class things would be easier." Honestly, Sayako notes her arms crossed over her chest.

"How?" Sayako furrows his brow.

"I can spend more time with one of my old friends how is that not a plus?" Positively, she offers making him glare slightly.

"Do you hear what you say sometimes?" Scowling, he sighs at her, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks.

"What?" Confused, she furrows her brow making him sigh.

"Urgh never mind I've got the others." He points behind him.

"You know you didn't have to brainwash them, right?" Lazily, she sighs shoving her hands into her pockets.

"I was going to brainwash you." He crosses his arms over his chest.

"Sure, you were." Chuckling, she rolls her eyes at him.

"I'm not afraid of doing it to you." He argues his eyes narrowing.

"Sure, you're not." Snickering, she smirks.

"Stop that." Scowling, he points at her.

"What?" She blinks feigning innocence.

"That tone it's annoying." Annoyed, he deadpans.

"Just because you have a soft spot for me." Cheerily, she teases draping her arm over his shoulder making his eye twitch.

"I don't have a soft spot for you! You…are a dumbass. I should have left you alone." Irritated, he tells her.

"But you didn't!" Smirking, she prods him in the cheek as he cranes his neck to the side, his eye twitching.

"Let the cavalry battle begin!" Boisterously, Midnight proclaims alerting them both. She slaps her whip down into the air as the two share a smug smirk, a glint gleaming in their eyes where the event begins…

"Times up!" Midnight proclaims as Sayako helps Shinshou down, the two turning to Midnight revealing her team having made it to the next round alongside Todoroki's, Midoriya's, Bakugo's and a few others.

"Huh we made it." Sayako hums, glancing over at Ojiro wincing cradling his temple having snapped out of his hypnosis alongside the few others making Sayako and Shinshou share a look, distancing themselves from their team.

"Course we did I made sure of it." Shinso states making Sayako chuckle shaking her head at him.

"So cocky say have you been eating?" Curious, she queries, arching a brow at him.

"Not this again." Groaning, Shinso looks up at the soaring sky.

"Hey when I picked you up you were lighter than last." She places her hand on her hip.

"I'm fine." He asserts, annoyance laced in his tone.

"As fine as the bags on your face." Smirking, Sayako points out.

"As if you can talk." Shinso scoffs.

"Hey I can't risk that happening, this complexion was very hard to establish you know." Sayako points out, gesturing to her features making him roll his eyes at her.

"Yeah, yeah." Shinso huffs shrugging his shoulders.

"Still, I'm surprised." Sayako confesses craning her neck up slightly to take a peek at the bright broad sky of baby blue.

"What now?" Irritated, Shinso scowls at Sayako.

"You letting me into your team I thought you of all people would go with those with the smallest points makes them the least likely target." Truthfully, Sayako confesses to Shinso.

"I was." Shinso asserts, hands shoved into his pockets.

"So why choose me?" Mystified, Sayako queries confusion laced in her tone.

"I needed a good amount of point to put me in that sweet spot of going up." Frankly, Shinso tells her.

"Oh I'm sure that's the reason." Chuckling, she raises a brow at him.

"Your quirk is useful." Shinso states but Sayako still smirks amused, not buying his act one bit.

"Anything else you might like to add maybe the truth?" Chuckling, Sayako snickers, crossing her arms over her chest, leaning in teasingly.

"I swear one of these days I'm going to hit you." Scowling, he glares at her.

"Not very hero like eh Hitoshi." Teasingly, she snickers.

"Whatever…" Fed up, he steps back, turning to leave.

"Tell me something." Sternly, Shinso stops in his steps, turning to glance behind him for his lilac hues to glace at Sayako's jade greens.

"What?" Sayako sighs, turning to face him.

"That Midoriya guy what is his quirk?" Shinshou demands making Sayako's greens narrow.

"Frankly, I have no idea all I know is that it harms him." Honestly, Sayako confesses. Shinshou's lilacs narrow, staring him at her, a still silence flowing between them both until he sighs bowing his head.

You sure he doesn't have a water quirk in there?" He furrows his brow as they both glance at the boy crying before his team, geysers spewing out of his eyelids.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Now come on its time we prep for this fight ahead. Hey, do you think grass girl's fine?" Sayako sighs slumping her shoulders only then to furrow her brow at the memory of their team.

"What do you mean?" Shinso queries.

"I mean I sort of slashed into her hair you think those vines of hers make her feel stuff." Sayako confesses furrowing her brow at the memory, she and Shinshou were keeping their head down, deciding to keep their cover low not aiming for the top if they had they would be easily caught out. So they waited and when they saw the opening in Mineta's team when the vine girl had reached in for Mineta's band, she saw the opportunity and went for it, swiftly slicing the girl's band and stealing it, continuing on.

"Who knows, either way we got both their headbands and we're in the next round. The ends justify the means." Shinshou states the fact of the matter dismissing it, brushing it off.

"Eh you're not wrong still see you in the next round Shinso." Smirking, she winks at him.

"Don't hold back on me." Sternly, he tells her.

"I won't." Smugly, she smirks at him hands up in mock surrender, taking a few steps back before turning on her heel and leaving him, the two leaving on their separate ways.

"Iida you were holding out on us!" Sayako's ears perk up from Ochako's accusation. She makes her way over to her fellow classmates, her hands shoved into her pockets, her shoulders slouched as she overhears Ochako's declaration.

"Rest assured it wasn't my intention to deceive you I was just being strategic." Tenya tells the class adjusting his lenses.

"Look at you being all sneaky." Smirking, Sayako drapes her arm over his shoulder.

"S-Sneaky!? It wasn't my intention I simply wanted to show I could compete with Midoriya and you Sayako!" Earnestly, Tenya confesses making Sayako blink baffled by his wording, her eyes nearly popping out of her sockets from his words.

"Say what now?" Lost, she furrows her brow a brief comedic pause filter through the air as she removes her arm from him.

"You noticed it have you not?" Tenya furrows his brow at her.

"Noticed what?" Lost, she furrows her brow sheepishly scratching her wrist.

"You four are the top of our class. Honestly, I feel left behind sometimes." Sighing, Tenya confesses making Sayako's eyes expand from his confession.

"Mine isn't that powerful its nothing like Todoroki's fire or Katsuki's explosions." Frowning, she glances to the side, sure in terms of versatility she is pretty good but power? She didn't take out those robots, she didn't fight anyone she was passive through the obstacle race even the cavalry battle. She hadn't hurt anyone all she did was grab the headbands needed to keep up.

"But it makes up for that with its versatility not to mention your keen intellect." Tenya considers.

"Oh…thank you?" Unsure, Sayako glances over at Ochako who simply shrugs.

"They're always trying to one up each other." Ochako points out fondly.

"I'm really not." Feebly, Sayako tries to argue.

"Sayako you should be in the line as per instructed!" Sayako sighs from Tenya's firm exclamation. She swings herself over the gate, her eyes narrowing when noting a certain red, white haired boy guiding Midoriya somewhere.

"I'll be right back I promise." She assures them saluting them off.

"Be sure you'll be back for the match." Ochako calls out.

"Yeah, yeah." Lazily, Sayako trots off, her hand up waving them off as she leaves them, deciding to go get a quick snack…

"Sayako!" Cheerily, the voice rings out earning a sharp shudder from Sayako scowling at the sheer pitch of the voice. Slowly, she turns on her heel, furrowing her brow at the redhead, saluting cheekily winking at her, calling her over making her grumble.

"Why the heck are you here?" Slowly, she makes her way over, sighing tiredly at her aunt noting the numerous dishes before her aunt, who has chopsticks in hand.

"Can't an aunt give her support to her darling niece?" Lovingly, she whines, leaning over, draping her arms over her niece who inches her face away from her aunt, not wishing for the makeup to be smeared upon her cheek. She lovingly nuzzles her cheek into Sayako's face.

"Not many do." Coldly, she brushes her aunt off, using her sleeve to brush aside the stain, furrowing her brow at her aunt, happily leaning over to munch her food.

"Guess I'm the exception." Proudly, she smiles.

"I'm sure." Sayako sighs exasperation etched into her facial features.

"Did you know if you're related to one of the finalists you can get a discount on food?" Happily, Kiyoko reveals to the sceptical Sayako.

"I doubt that's a thing." Warily, Sayako argues.

"Hey, it's working for me isn't that right Aki?" Flirtatiously, she leans in winking at the bender whose face is as red as an apple making Sayako sigh at her aunt's flirtations.

"Y-Yes." Shyly, he squeaks back, giving her more dishes.

"What happened?" Tiredly, she sighs slumping her shoulder, trying to mentally prepare herself for the tangent to come.

"What do you mean?" Innocently, Kiyoko queries slurping up some noodle.

"Another guy broke up with you I'm guessing." Bluntly, Sayako deadpans her ears hearing the heavy crash of a fist slamming down on the counter.

"I broke up with him." Angrily, Kiyoko roars her sweet saint demeanour diminishing revealing her fierce feral roar, practically spewing fire at the memory.

"Is that right?" Sighing, Sayako exclaims noting the fearful look of the tender looking out of his wits, messily providing more food for her not that Sayako could blame him.

"The scumbag decided to cheat on me with some cheap tart, never date Sayako men are scum of the earth you hear me?!" Bitterly, she snaps stabbing her chopstick into some takoyami, digging her feral fangs into the treat.

"I already knew that but okay." Sayako shrugs glancing to the side aloofly.

"All they want is the goods nothing more nothing less don't waste your time on them got it?" Bitterly, Kiyoko sneers, stabbing the butt of her chopsticks to the counter practically creating indents into it making the tender shake. She sweat drops at her aunt's anger.

"Yes, yes. Don't suppose Hikaru's here then?" Sayako furrows her brow when noting her lack of a certain someone.

"Actually, yeah! He wanted to see you, you should have seen him when it was the race, he nearly fell out of his chair." Chuckling, Kiyoko smiles fondly at the memory.

"Is that right?" Bored, Sayako hums.

"Your father threatened some guards to let him pass." Tiredly, Kiyoko sighs slumping her shoulders no longer stabbing simply prodding at the table below.

"Dad's here?" Surprised, Sayako's eyes expand at the reveal.

"Yes, he had some clothes he wanted to give you. He was yelling at the staff to give you more layers he was fuming when seeing your new attire." Huffing, Kiyoko grumbles leaning into the open palm of her hand sighing sadly.

"Of course." She nods her head leaning in slightly from the warm smoke spewing out, the tantalising smell emitting from the food.

"I thought it looked divine on you, showed off your assets." Cheekily, she winks leaning back briefly in her chair.

"Aunt!" Embarrassed, Sayako screeches at her aunt who snickers, grinning from ear to ear, a Cheshire grin upon her lips.

"What? Just saying how it is." Fairly, Kiyoko argues stretching her arm out in mock surrender.

"This is so wrong on so many levels, look where's Hikaru?" Tiredly, Sayako sighs exasperated.

"Oh he's uh…" Nervously, Kiyoko begins anxiously, tugging at some material in her free hand.

"Is that a leash?" Scowling, her eyes narrow at the baby blue leash.

"…Maybe." Meekly, Kiyoko whispers causing Sayako's eye to twitch.

"And why is that leash attached to a log!?" Enraged, she snaps after turning to see said log.

"I…wish I knew." Ashamed, Kiyoko bows her head.

"You lost Hikaru!?" Enraged, Sayako snarls at her aunt.

"I didn't lose him I just…misplaced him." Feebly, she tries to argue weakly whimpering.

"Dad is going to kill you." Groaning, she slumps her shoulders, facepalming at her aunt.

"Oh relax Kazz will understand." Lazily, she dismisses her niece.

"Understand!? He will have you by the throat!" Firmly, she tells her how it is.

"I'm going to find him." Annoyed, Sayako grumbles reaching out snatching one of the Takoyaki from her plate.

"Hey! What about your match!?" Offended, she glares at her niece.

"Screw it!" Scowling, she tosses the Takoyaki into her mouth before turning on her heel and leaving, chomping on her food…

"If I were a kid where would I go?" Humming, Sayako furrows her brow as she looks around the festival.

"Hello!" Happily, a familiar face pops up from the ground making Sayako stop in her tracks. Slowly, she turns to gaze down at the face below, beady blues gazing up at her.

"STOP DOING THAT!" Screeching, Sayako roars at Mirio merrily laughing.

"Hahaha can't believe you fell for that a second time!" Amused, Mirio chuckles revealing himself from the floor, a bright broad smile upon his lips.

"What is wrong with you!?" Baffled, she demands from him.

"Togata hey, hey what's going on whose the girl?! Oooh are you a delinquent?" Surprised, Sayako jolts up at the blueberry blonde girl getting too close to Sayako, she recoils back, glaring at her.

"Excuse you?" Warily, Sayako furrows her brow at the stranger beaming brightly at her.

"I mean you have dyed hair or at least tried to dye it looks like you failed." Bluntly, she points out making Sayako's hand dart to her hair, a brief look of shame upon her features from the mention.

"C-Could you not?" Shyly, she requests sighing shakily, combing her fingers through her hair.

"Oh come on it looks pretty cool!" Gushing, she compliments.

"Y-You're the girl who…" Sayako perks up at the sound of shuffling turning to the boy munching on some Takoyaki.

"Oh elf boy." Sayako recalls.

"E-Elf boy? I want to go home." Surprised, she raises a brow when seeing the boy place his head on a nearby stand supporting frame, munching on his food, muttering to himself.

"Ppfff! Elf boy ahahah!" Cackling, the blue haired girl cackles.

"Right…just going to leave." Uncertain, she takes a step back.

"Hey, wait on I saw your race you were so awesome!" Gushing, Mirio praises her making her gawk, a faint ruby red tint to her cheeks form the praise.

"Wait a minute this is the girl that helped Amajiki." The blue haired girl points at Sayako.

"Y-Yes…" Said shy boy nods his head.

"Togata's been talking you about you know, he said during the race you would get to the top three and he was right you must be pretty cool right?" Energetically, the blue haired girl gushes making the red tint to her cheeks burn even brighter feeling her body tense up uncomfortable.

"I…I'm just gonna go now." Quietly, Sayako whispers glancing over to the side.

"Oh come on! My name is Nejire Hado nice to meet you." Excitedly, the girl grabs Sayako's hand shaking it.

"Nice to meet you? What are you guys doing here anyway?" Unsure, Sayako furrows her brow feeling her body be thrown up and die from the sheer vice grip of the girl before her, babbling, ranting to her hearts content.

"Oh Amajiki needed some extra grubs to get ready for the matches." Mirio steps in seeing Sayako's struggle when it comes to Hado.

"Right…Look have you seen a kid around here? Has a sketchpad with him, green eyes…brown chestnut blackish hair?" Sighing, she snatches her hand free from the iron grip cradling it.

"Afraid not." Mirio sighs.

"Great, just great." Bitterly, she glares to the side.

"A lost kid? I'll search around if you'd like. Do not fret for I am here! You can rely on me!" Mirio offers alongside his friends only unerring Sayako.

"Greeeat…" Scowling, Sayako draws out, her brow furrowing as she glances to the side boredom laced in her tone, not believing it one bit. She turns on her heel, her hands shoved into her pockets. She leaves heading to the cafeteria only then to stop herself when her greens spot a familiar broccoli shyly following behind Todoroki, making her eyes narrow, a newfound curiosity flowing through her veins. She turns towards them following after them, eager to feed her thirsty curiosity.
