"Your quirk is brainwashing!? That's so cool!" Amazed, the students swarm around Hitoshi's seat, listening to the students standing above him wearing his junior uniform.

"Seriously I can't imagine someone with that power!" Another one of the students swarming him points out.

"I'm so jealous Shinsho!" A girl throws in.

"Imagine all the cool stuff you could do controlling people!" Another student smirks.

"Yeah, you could do any bad thing you want!" He throws in.

"And no one would ever know it was you just make sure you don't make us your slaves okay?" Teasingly, one of the students jokes.

"Heh everyone always says that…" Truthfully, Shinshou smiles sadly, scratching the back of his neck.

"Of course I'd think anyone with my power would be evil too. Sounds criminal Shinshou it's the perfect power for a villain to have."

"Shinsho was used to having people look at him like he was the bad guy. But he wasn't. Everyone saw him as that…except her."

"Yo Shin." Startled, Shinsho blinks at the voice, feeling arms drape over his form making his lilacs look up into a pair of green.

"H-Huh?" He blurts out as he stares up at the girl with blonde roots.

"Come on we got lunch, I think this time I've cracked it." Confidently, she declares as he stands up, feeling her arm draped over his shoulder, stretching her arm out to the high heavens.

"This again?" Tiredly, Shinshou sighs furrowing his brow at her starry greens.

"Just you wait, I'm going to sweet talk that old hag into giving me double desert!" Determeind, she declares.

"And you think calling her an old hag is sweet talk?" Shinshou smirks.

"A girl can dream Shin, a girl can dream…" Smugly, she smirks bringing a small shy smile upon Shinshou's lips shaking his head at her as they head to lunch.

She was the first, she was the only one who didn't see it that way…she didn't tense up around me, she didn't judge me she just…she just did what she wanted, even if that led her to idiotic ideas causing more trouble than they were worth…

"Why do you hang out with him?" Shinso falters in his steps about to head into class until perking up at the voice. He stops in his tracks, furrowing his brow at the familiar trio in class crowding around Sayako seated upon her desk, scowling at them.

"What do you mean?" Perplexed, Sayako furrows her brow.

"Come on you know his quirk he could brainwash you, aren't you scared of that?" The girl from prior points out.

"No." Bluntly, she deadpans.

"Why not?" The boy further furrows his brow at her.

"Because Shinshou wouldn't do that, he isn't like that." Firmly, she crosses her arms over her chest.

"Oh, come on with a quirk like that he's a villain." Another boy points out making her eye twitch.

"What the hell do you know!? You know jack about him, you barely even hang out with him!" Angrily, she snaps scowling at him.

"We got to be on his good side, so he doesn't brainwash us you know?" The girl exclaims.

"You lot are disgusting, Shinshou isn't like that and if that's how you view him then you're not worth my time nor his." Fed up, she jumps off her desk turning on her heel to leave.

"He's a freak villain though…" One of them calls out making her freeze in her steps.

"Do you know how cool his quirk!? If the heroes want info on a villain's whereabouts. He can get that answer straight away no torture, no interrogation that lasts forever at all." Angrily, she snaps at them telling them how it is unaware of Shinsho's lilacs widening when hearing her words.

"I…" Feebly, the girl tries to argue.

"Not to mention how he could get vital information from practically anyone involved in the case or he can command a villain to stop at a hostage situation like to lower the gun. Shinshou's quirk isn't villainous it's his own, it's heroic!" Fuming, she cuts the girl off telling the group how it is, anger laced in her tone.

"And here we have it folks, the first victor of the first final round, Izuku Midoriya!" President Mic snaps Shinshou out of his trip down memory lane, looking up at the bright blue soaring sky, slowly standing, recovering from the flip. Wincing, he places his hand on the back of his hammering head, grimacing at the sharp stinging sensation coursing through his head.

"Turning the tables at the last second a classic Midoriya move." Tenya gushes beaming brightly as Sayako simply stares, leaning over the barrier at the two.

"That was so nerve-wracking!" Ochako whimpers weakly, slumping her shoulders exhaustion etched into her tone, her shoulders slumping her features screaming relief.

"He pulled that shoulder thrown on you before huh?" Cheekily, Kaminari teases Bakuago.

"Shut your damn face Sparky." Bakuago snaps at Kirishima who flinches from the clear-cut rejection.

"Oh yeah, that was actually kind of an interesting match eh kids? The both of you fought bravely let's show them some love everyone!" President Mic proclaims to the high heavens as the crowd roars, confetti comes crashing down on the two.

"What's driving you?" Meekly, Midoriya questions Shinshou through the cheers alarming Shinshou.

"You can't help the thing your heart longs for…" Glumly, Shinshou whispers turning on his heel and leaving.

"You were awesome out there Shinshou!" Surprised, Shina jolts up stopping in his tracks of heading towards the exit of the stadium only to perk up at the voice calling out to him making him look up at his general studies classmates.

"We're proud of you!"

"You didn't tell us you were that good!"

"Yeah, you're the star of our program!"

"I can't believe you put up such a good fight against the dude who was in first earlier!"

"Listen to them!" One of the students points towards the crowd of the heroes.

"With a quirk like that, it would be very simple to catch a villain, wish I had it." Honestly, a hero confesses.

"I can't believe they stuck him in general studies urgh those idiots." A female hero huffs.

"Well, there are a ton of applicants each year guess some slip through the cracks." Thoughtfully, another hero considers.

"If only he had more combat experience." A robotic hero points out.

"What a waste…" His twin counterpart agrees.

"Shinshou, you hear that they think you're incredible!" Sayako shyly smiles hands shoved into her pockets, hearing Shinshou's classmates cheer him up as she stands and leaves heading down for her next match.

"You lost my child!?" Enraged, Kazz seethes, snarling at Kiyoko smiling uneasily, her back flat against the wall, releasing a small strained nervous noise, beaming from ear to ear, shuddering under Kazz's icy glare, feeling the teasing touch of death brush against her own.

"Kazz calm down would ya!?" Pleadingly, she begs her brother.

"Give me a reason why I shouldn't stitch that mouth of yours shut!?" Sharply, he grabs hold of her mouth making her whimper from his piercing glare.

"It's not my fault. I told you I'm not a kid person!" Pitifully, he whines.

"But you're the sort to flirt with anything moving! Besides, it's your job!" Kazz reminds her.

"Are you trying to imply something!?" Offended, she gawks at him.

"No I'm stating it, stop flirting in front of my children, they are the top priority, not your flimsy flings." Furious, he snaps at her.

"How dare you!" She scowls at him, hands on her hips.

"How dare you! You lost my kid what if he had been kidnapped!? I trusted you, I trusted you with…" Furious, Kazz begins shaking his head at her.

"Sis!" Happily, Hikaru smiles as she approaches, hands in her pockets.

"Hey, Hikaru." Sayako crouches down, ruffling his locks.

"Look! Bunnies!" Hikaru giggles pointing towards the sign of recovery girl's temporary officer noting a squiggle of a line underneath written with Kazz Sashiko on as well only with skulls instead of bunnies making her sweat drop at the cartoonish sign.

"Yep. Those are bunnies alright. You two done now?" She acknowledges Hikaru before turning to her father and aunt's hands on her hip.

"Huh? Sayako! My baby girl! You were magnificent out there!" Swiftly, Kazz changes moods, darting over to her side, wrapping his arms around her, nuzzling into her side beaming from ear to ear.

"Thanks…" Awkwardly, Sayako winces craning her neck back briefly uncomfortable.

"Shinshou was great too I'm glad he got the recognition he deserved." Relieved, Kazz smiles softly.

"Yeah…" Sayako nods her head.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Sadistically smiling, Kazz turns on his heel to the fleeting figure of his sister crouched down, her smile twitching terrified.

"M-Meep." Weakly, she releases an eep as he slowly draws out his blade making them both sweat drop.

"GET BACK HERE!" Kazz snarls darting chasing after her.

"What is with our family?" Hikaru furrows his brow at the sight of the fleeting figures acting more like children than adults.

"That's a question I've been pondering for years, Hikaru…" Sombrely, Sayako whispers, a grave grim look upon her features.

"You were amazing out there sis!" Happily, Hikaru praises Sayako who smiles shyly.

"You're a sweet kid now come on let's make sure dad hasn't actually killed Kiyoko." Sighing, Sayako slumps her shoulders.

"That rat…how did she…where did she even go!?" Fuming, Kazz snaps slamming her foot down on the ground.

"Don't you think you're getting a bit worked up?" Sighing, Sayako argues furrowing her brow.

"She abandoned Hikaru! She promised me she wouldn't do that again. I trust her time and time again but she just…" Kazz seethes.

"Sashiko." Surprised both Sayako and Kazz jolt up at the strict stern voice calling out to her, making Sayako's grip tighten around her brother, the two turning to the flame hero, Endeavour.

"Oh for the…not now Enji I don't have time to deal with you." Impatiently, Kazz brushes him off.

"Hm? Oh, Todoroki."

Sayako arches a brow at the eerily silent Todoroki his head bowed down, his fists fidgeting either side of him, looking bloodthirsty as she notes Hikaru burrow deep into her chest making her grip tighten around him.

"Oh, are you in the same class?" Kazz arches a brow at his daughter.

"Yeah." Sayako nods her head.

"Sashiko this is Shoto my masterpiece he will beat All Might." Proudly, Endeavor declares making both Kazz and Sayako arch a brow bored.

"Oh! Daddy issues." Sayako's eyes widen when she blurts it out startling everyone.

"Say what now?" Kazz turns to his daughter.

"You're a piece of shit." Sayako affirms making Endeavour's blue twitch as Todoroki's eyes widen when hearing her blunt curse.

"Excuse you?" Endeavor snarls flames spewing out of him, glowering down at her, trying to intimidate her but she simply arches a brow bored as the familiar ring of metal warningly echoes making Endeavour glance over, his icy blues meeting a pair of baby blue.

"Hey if you put raw fish to your face with that moustache of yours would it be cooked by then?" She asks him, making him reel his head back shocked by the sheer gall of the blunt girl.

"What!? Tch, Shoto will beat you both!" Endeavor snarls, his flames bursting out of his form making both father and daughter share a look bored by the declaration of war.

"Is that what you're deluding yourself?" Unimpressed, Sayako sneers.

"Excuse you?" Endeavor glowers at her, gawking, snarling seething. Widely, flames flicker, spewing out of his beard, threatening herself almost but she remains firm, furrowing her brow up at the tall giant of a hero.

"Shoto may beat me, he may but if he does that has nothing to do with you. Get off your high horse and piss off!" Sayako scowls.

"Sayako! What are you-?" Kazz hisses panic laced in his tone turning to see her step back from his fiery flames threaten to spew out as she simply smirks up at him, relishing his reaction.

"Got a match to prep for see ya!" Cheekily, she winks as she moves backwards, hands up in mock surrender soon shifting to a pair of middle fingers making the others gawk at her. She snickers, grinning from ear to ear at his fierce feral roar from her clear lack of disrespect. However as he is about to lunge at her, the swift slice of air cutting of a blade beaming brightly swiftly stops Endeavor who glares down at Kazz, a still silence of tension shared between them both. He ignores Todoroki brushing past him as both teens go their separate ways from one another leaving the adults alone…

"Can't believe I did that to Endeavor man…I was crazy." Shaking, Sayako whispers to herself, her voice breaking briefly as she sits down in the locket, her fingertips fidgeting, feeling her body quiver, quake, feeling a wave of worry coursing through her veins.

She shakily sighs bowing her head a part of her still not wrapping it around her head that she spoke to the umber 2 hero like that, she means sure she may come off as confident and she may act the same to the number one hero. But she isn't that volatile to him and at least she knows All Might wouldn't hurt her, Endeavour however who knows…?

"Still…Todoroki's look." Sayako furrows her brow at the memory, he looked thirsty for blood, he looked like he was about to kill every single person there. She remembered feeling the urge to get Hikaru out of there. He felt his nails dig deep into her shirt even when she had passed Hikaru back over to Kiyoko. She knew Kiyoko wouldn't let her down, not after that flimsy flaw of hers, not if she truly wished to be six feet under…

Still, the thrill of it, the adrenaline, goofily, a small smile crosses her lips at the adrenaline coursing through her veins pumping through it earning a small giddy chuckle to escape her lips, partially proud at standing up to the number 2 hero she didn't know much on him. But from what her father said, she didn't like Endeavour one bit then again, she didn't like any of the top ten heroes one bit…

"That's enough standing around! Now let's get to our next players!" She jolts up at the TV screen making her look up at the TV screen in the locker room, her brow furrowing at the sight of the stoic Shoto and smiling Sera giving a peace sign to the screen.

"He's got skills but at the expense of those creepy-looking elbow from the hero course it's Hanta Sero!" Excitedly, President Mic bellows declaring said fact as Sayako stares ahead at the screen, looking up at it as the pyres lite aflame flickering, spewing out flames unnerving Sayako slightly at the sight of each torch towering over the people, on each corner of the ring stage.

"That was uncalled for…" Sero huffs under his breath stretching preparing himself for the fight ahead while Shoto simply stares ahead bored almost.

"Verses…a front player in the competition from the hero course who got through on recommendations it's Shoto Todoroki and now for the second match of the finals! Ready…?" Joyous, president Mic bellows asking the crowd who roar as Sero stretches the back of his neck and elbows.

"I don't really feel like I can win this…" Huffing, Sero grumbles, craning his neck to the side.

"But man, I don't feel like losing either!" Determined, Sero declares smirking as he propels his Sellotape from his elbows at Shoto wrapping his sticky tape-like substance around his waist, throwing him to the side.

"Sero is attempting to throw his opponent out of bounds!" President Mc bellows stating the fact of the matter, throwing him out of bounds or attempting to as Shoto simply stares down bored at the floor below allowing him to do so until…

"Apologies…" Coolly, Todoroki exclaims, his intense blacks glaring into Sero when next thing everyone knows, he slams his snow-white boot down on the ground below, where ice sprouts out from the flat of his boot, a thing sheet of icy blue appears on the flat of his heel enveloping the stage as an icicle of ice, a practical ledge impaled the soaring sky breaking the air almost as Sayako jolts up from her seat gaping at the screen showing nothing but white until it recovers. The screen stutters slightly before showing a frozen Sero and Midnight well half of Midnight's form while Sero barely has any of his form escaping the icy wrath of the prison.

"Idiot!" Scowling, Sayako glares t the screen showing the stuttering stammering Sero his teeth clattering together as the tape coiled around Todoroki who easily breaks through with his arms. The fragments of frozen tape crackle and breaks into shards, scattering to the icy ground below with ease as Todoroki stands unfazed staring at his opponent.

"D-Don't you think you went a bit overboard?" Meekly, Sero whispers shaken, stuttering from the chilly crisp depths of the ice he is encased in.

"A bit is the understatement of a century." Sayako huffs under her breath unimpressed.

"Tell the truth Sero can you move at all?" Midnight calls out to him shuddering from the ice encasing half her form but she doesn't try to show it.

"Are you kidding? Obviously not. M-My body is F-Freezing!" Sero stammers.

"Sero has been immobilized. Todoroki advances to the next round." Firmly, Midnight calls out flailing her whip, furrowing her brow.

"NICE TRY!" Sayako blinks when the next thing she knows the crowd chorus roaring, raising their voices trying to cheer Sero up from the clearly one-sided matchmaking her sigh, pitying Sero knowing well the voices trying to help Sero mean well but they aren't helping in the grand scheme of things.

"Sorry…it was a bit much. I was angry is all." Todoroki shuffles over to Sero, his hand flat against the ice as steam sews out as he tries to thaw Sero out.

A bit he says…and that should be an excuse. He's as bad as me! Does he not see the people he can hurt by letting his emotions get to him!? By letting his father influence him this much over some stupid quirk!? Sayako thinks to herself scowling. She knew why Todoroki would do this for she too did the same once upon a time. Sayako stares down at her hand but she knew better, she couldn't run away from it, this quirk was hers and hers alone, not his, not anyone's but her own. She refused to let him affect her she was better than that, better than him. She refused to give him the satisfaction of her tears, of her anger, of her bitterness but also….

That's…that's what could happen to me. Shaken, Sayako bows her head at the thought, furrowing her brow staring at her shaking trembling hand as her fingertips gingerly brush against her eye, having an inkling of what to do next...

*What do you think of Shinso and Sayako's past guys?*
