"I can't believe I did that. So much for being a pro…" Pouting, Kazz huffs slumping his shoulders sadly, dejected, ashamed almost at what had happened, he still couldn't believe he had done that, he had said that, urgh he knew back then he would run his mouth sometimes but this was…this was Sayako's level and he didn't want to fight, he didn't have the flickering fire she had not anymore anyway.

"You were flustered and not in the right mindset." Tentatively, Tsunagu assures him, placing his hand on his shoulder.

"I still can't believe I said that." Groaning, Kazz whines, steam spewing out of his heated facial features bringing a small smile to Tsunga's lips swiftly hidden by the scarf veil coiled around his neck.

"You've said worse." Tsunagu states making Kazz grimace, glancing to the side, sweat dropping, like father like daughter Kazz supposed sighing at his and Sayako's silver tongue having hints of a blunt tip to it.

"Sttttooop." Sighing, Kazz whimpers, drawing it out earning a small low chuckle from Tsunagu.

"You haven't changed a bit always rushing head-first into things…" Tsunagu smiles fondly at the fact.

"I'm sorry for bringing you into that. I know being a hero isn't easy especially with privacy. If I made you uncomfortable…" Pensive, Kazz begins worry laced in his tone.

"You didn't." Tsunagu squeezes his shoulder sighing.

"I didn't?" Surprised, Kazz exclaims taken aback.

"You sound as if the skincare routine was one-sided," Tsunagu smirks cheekily.

"O-Oh…" Kazz sputters, stammering slightly, feeling a familiar heat cross his cheeks.

"So how is she?" Tsunagu asks clear concern in his tone.

"She's stable so that's a plus." Positively, Kazz offers, shrugging sheepishly. Tsunagu lowers his hand removing it from Kazz's shoulder.

"How's Hikaru?" Tsunagu asks feeling the front of his hand brush against Kazz who flinches from said touch.

"He's…staying with Kiyoko." Groaning, Kazz huffs, a brief pang of irritation laced in his tone.

"Is that wise?" Tsunagu furrows his brow.

"Well…we don't really have much of an option." Glumly, Kazz sighs slumping her shoulders.

"I see you're keeping yourself busy." Tsunagu notes furrowing his brow as they approach the hospital, entering through the walls where Tsunagu's nose scrunches up at the sharp stench of bleach but Kazz dismisses it having adjusted to such smells.

"Only way I can keep an eye on Sayako." Honestly, Kazz confesses, a strained smile upon his lips.

"You shouldn't push yourself Kazz we all have our limits, without proper self-control of those limits leads work to become sloppy leaves to fake jeans…" Tsunagu recites bringing a small smile to Kazz lips as a small snicker escapes his lips.

"And there we go." Endearingly, he smiles sweetly at Tsunagu, looking up at him covering his mouth with his hand.

"Hm?" Confused, Tsunagu furrows his brow at Kazz.

"I was waiting for a denim metaphor or something." Sweetly, Kazz smiles up at Tsunagu unaware of his heated cheeks as Tsunagu burrows deeper into his scarf trying to hide such warmth.

"Am I truly that predictable?" Tsunagu tuts as they stop before her, Tsunagu trailing off going silent, feeling his heart drop, his greens dilating when seeing his little girl strapped to the bed.

"…I'll leave you with her. I have rounds to make." Pained, Kazz smiles sadly watching on as Tsunagu leans over her sleeping slumbering form, a still silence in the air as he gently brushes a few stray strands of blonde out of her eyes, no words needing to be shed. Silently, Kazz turns his back, leaving both father and daughter alone.

"Oh, you're…" Surprised, Kazz's eyes widen when he finds Tenya on his own perking up at the sight of Kazz.

"Oh, doctor Sashiko thank you for treating my brother." Formally, Tenya bows before the doctor.

"I'm doing the best I can how are you? You know I believe there are some people on staff you can talk to…" Kazz offers, furrowing his brow surprised to find the youth here.

"I'd rather stay by my brother's side." Politely, he informs Kazz.

"Do your parents know you're here…?" Uncertain, Kazz furrows his brow not quite sure what to say.

"…He'll be back, right? As a hero?" Tenya changes the topic making Kazz's brow further furrow from his words and the question proposed.

"I…I can't say I'm afraid." Honestly, Kazz sighs.

"Brother…" Pained, Tenya whispers his voice cracking making Kazz close his eyes understanding Tneya's pain well.

"It's the risk we all take when taking the mantle as hero." Kazz attempts to console Tenya trying to give him some sort of comfort.

"How can you say that!? Look at your daughter look at what has happened to her and she hasn't even become a hero yet!" Furious, Tenya barks at Kazz who flinches from his words but closes his eyes breathing through his nose.

"The path to being a hero isn't easy if you can't handle the pain you can't handle being a hero." Sternly, he snaps making Tenya flinch from his cold crisp curt words.

"But he…" Tenya glares to the side pained as Kazz notes his fingertips curl into his inner palm into a pair of fuming fists.

"I understand your pain, I do. But screaming about it isn't going to fix him." Honestly, Kazz tells him how it is.

"Then what…what can I do?" Pained, Tenya whispers bowing his head hurt, the tears freely flowing.

"Be there for him, for your family, he's going to be drained, I doubt the first thing he wants to hear is you screaming." Softly, Kazz smiles.

"I just…how can you be so calm? After everything…?" Stunned, Tenya questions lost.

"I've seen a lot in my time of work, broken bones, bloodied noses…you name it I've seen it I suppose it's natural to be a reflex towards such things. The quirk of being pro for a time I suppose." Strained, Kazz smiles tightly.

"Doctor Sashiko…" Sorrowfully, Tenya whispers bowing his head pained as his blues dart down to the ground below before darting up, glancing over towards the bedside. His blues soften sadly when seeing the slumbering Sayako, the low hum of the heart monitor beeping…
