"Now have you got everything?" Sternly, Kazz questions Sayako who simply scowls at her father, arms outstretched, feeling beads of sweat slide down her features as she glares at her father while Hikaru giggles, smirking from the counter, where he is sat, sketching the scene before him.
"I have what I need dad." Tiredly, Sayako scowls at her father, furrowing her brow at him.
"Have you got your heat packs? Your chicken soup? Your umbrella?" Worriedly, Kazz questions looking over at her.
"Yes." She rolls her green hues at him.
"If you even feel a tingle phone me and…" Kazz begins as Sayako's eyes twitch.
"I know dad." Sayako nods her head exasperated.
"Can a cold really kill you?" Curious, Hikaru blurts out fascinated as he stops shading to ask.
"Not a cold but hypothermia can do horror to your heart Hikaru." Kazz tells Hikaru who hums, continuing to sketch.
"Oh. Make sure not to drink any cold drinks then." Hikaru calls out to her.
"Great advice Hikaru…" Dryly, she remarks.
"He's trying." Optimistically, Kazz offers, shrugging sheepish.
"Clearly now if you'll excuse me." Politely, Sayako begins to remove the layers upon her.
"What are you…?" Kazz gasps gaping at her helplessly watching as layers fall flat to the ground.
"While this game of dress up has been fun and all. I really don't have time for this." Tiredly, Sayako states the fact of the matter.
"You need those layers." Hikaru places his hand flat on the counter.
"What I need is to get pass through the bloody door first." Firmly, she snaps gesturing towards the door, where her once oval form would have had to roll through that is if she could actually go through the door.
"You'll be fine." Lazily, Kazz kneels down, picking up the extra coats making Sayako's green twitch.
"I'll tumble down the hill!" Haughtily, she snaps trying to be polite, trying to be patient, trying to be kind.
"Just…be safe please, wear at least a few layers." Pleadingly, Kazz places his hands into a prayer hand sign only making Sayako groan.
"Fine…come on Hikaru." She huffs taking the coat given to her, draping it over her form before leaving, heading to school, offering her hand out to Hikaru who happily takes it.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Worriedly, Hikaru questions as they approach the school, Sayako using the umbrella to cover Hikaru up mostly.
"I'm fine Hikaru I promise." Softly, Sayako smiles placing her hand over Hikaru's head. He leans into her touch before turning to the school where…
"Hey you're that girl who leapt over everyone else!" Alarmed, Sayako jolts up at the voice as she makes her way towards the school only to frown at the voice, turning to one of the parents she assumes.
"Yeah the seamstress Sayako!" Another soon joins in.
"Hikaru your sister goes to UA!?" One of the kids rushes over to Hikaru.
"Y-Yeah..." Hikaru nods his head shyly.
"That's so cool!" One of the kids beams making Hikaru smile softly as next thing he knew; his hand is grabbed as he is taken inside.
"You were awesome!" Animatedly, one of the mother's gush.
"Thank you but could you get out of my face?" Politely, she smiles at the group of strangers, her body tensing up, not liking it one bit.
"Sorry! Sorry!" Softly, the woman smiles as Sayako glances over smiling softy relieved to see a happy Hikaru conversing animatedly with his classmates before leaving, heading to U.A.
"Of course, it bloody rains on the first day of school course it does…" Bitterly, Sayako seethes, fuming under her boiling, bubbling, burning blood having remembered both her father and baby brothers pestering her, babying her to wear layers upon layers. She was swaying side to side, tumbling she was practically a watermelon thanks to the amount of layers draped over her form. Not to mention the people crowding around her, asking if she's okay. On the plus side she did managed to get away from it all. She hated people as it is dealing with her classmates was enough for her as it is.
"Sayako!" Surprised, she jolts up at the voice peering over her shoulder, her eyes widening when seeing a ugly green raincoat rushing up the hill.
"Tenya? The heck are you…" Her greens narrow at the sore thumb.
"All you brought was an umbrella in your condition!? Pardon the intrusion!" Tenya gawks at her making her furrow her brow.
"Tenya I'm F-FIIIINE!" Screeching, Sayako freaks out confused when suddenly he grabs her arm beginning to drag her off.
"Good morning Midoriya!" Briskly, Tenya calls out to him.
"O-Oh whoa Iida! You really went all out with the rain gear? Wait…Sayako!?" Stunned, Midoriya squeaks freaking out when seeing the equally as lost Sayako.
"I DO NOT CONSENT TO THIS!" Truthfully, she tells Midoriya sweat dropping at the two.
"Why on earth are you walking so slowly? We'll be late." Tenya tells Midoriya.
"Late? But there's still five minutes until the first bell." Midoriya points out.
"U.A students should always arrive ten minutes early don't you agree?" Tenya argues as he continues rushing up the hill dragging Sayako behind him.
"Why do people not understand consent!?" Whining, Sayako slumps her shoulders pained.
"I hate you…so very much." Deflated, Sayako groans leaning against the locket, slumped against it groaning, heaving.
"Nothing wrong with being early." Tenya tells Sayako.
"There is everything wrong with being early!" Bitterly, Sayako grumbles placing her hand flat on her locker.
"The early bird gets the word Sayako." Smirking, Tenya exclaims as Sayako peels her soaked coat off her, grumbling.
"Well what if that worm just wants to stay underground and be left alone!" Annoyed, Sayako disputes as she then changes to her indoor shoes.
"So Iida um… " Meekly, Midoriya begins fidgeting.
"If it's about my brother don't be concerned. I'm sorry if I made you worry everything will be fine." Firmly, Tenya promises Midoriya who furrows his brow. Anxiously, his bandaged hands squeeze around his umbrella worriedly while Sayako simply sighs, slumping her shoulders at both Tenya and Midoriya, glancing between them both before leaving, heading to class.
"It's so weird that people recognised us from TV! Everyone wanted to talk to me on my way here!" Happily, Mina squeals smiling softly as class 1-A gossip about their latest TV appearance.
"People on the street were staring at me it was kind of embarrassing…" Embarrassed, Tooru smiles softly.
"Sure but isn't that pretty normal for you?" Ojiro points out smiling strained.
"I guess you got to take what you can get with Tooru's quirk." Sayako notes her hand on her hip, arching a brow.
"You won't believe what a bunch of elementary brats yelled at me." Miserably, Sero sighs.
"Nice try?" Tsuyu answers.
"Uwaah!" Sadly, Sero cries out horrified.
"Welp I now know what I'm calling you." Smirking, Sayako drapes her arm over Sero's shoulders making him groan.
"This coming from the skater you never told us you could pull off those cool moves!" Huffing, Sero softly pokes Sayako in the side.
"You never asked and there never really was a situation that I really could." Honestly, Sayako shrugs, she didn't think it would matter.
"Sayako." Todoroki approaches.
"Oh Todoroki hey." Smirking, she turns to Todoroki as she removes her hand, sliding it off Sero's shoulders.
"Considering your condition if you need any warmth." Todoroki offers making her smile strained, sweat dropping at the gesture.
"Gonna stop you right there. Tadah." Smirking, she reveals a jell pack of sorts strapped to her arm.
"Oh Kairos." Todoroki recognises.
"These beauties are the best thing man have ever made." Mesmerized, Sayako smiles.
"I wish to apologise again for what happened." Todoroki sighs bowing his head briefly.
"Eh you win some you lose some you still got daddy issues?" Candidly, Sayako quirks her head to the side making Shoto flinch from her words.
"Could you not refer to it as that? Nor could you talk about it." Bluntly, he deadpans as the two-converse unaware of a few eyes on them some shocked to see the two even talking.
"Fine, fine…achoo!" Sayako sighs only to erupt into a sneeze making the others do a double take at the small cat like sneeze.
"Wha…what was that?" Snickering, Sero places his hand flat against his grinning mouth.
"What was what?" Confused, Sayako furrows her brow at her classmates snickering.
"That sneeze was freaking adorable!" Kirishima cackles making her eye twitch.
"It was like a kitten!" Kaminari joins in making Sayako seethe.
"Shut up it ain't cu-Achoo!" Angrily, Sayako snaps only to falter from her words as she sneezes.
"That's so cute!" Ochako squeals beaming brightly making Sayako scowl.
"Go to hell all of-Achoo!" Angry, Sayako snarls at her classmates only to erupt into another fit of sneezes making the class coo at.
"Aww! You sound like a baby kitten!" Teasingly, Kaminari drapes his arm over Sayako whose green hues twitch only for her to grab hold of Kaminari's wrist swiftly snapping it making Kaminari cry out whimpering, tears in his eyes. Sayako slowly pries him off as he whimpers uncle, uncle, uncle but it falls to deaf ears as she swiftly shuts him down.
"Don't laugh at me!" Murderously, she snarls at the crowd.
"Morning." Aizawa calls out immediately shutting everyone up as they all take their seat, Sayako having been forced to sit down by a stoic Shoji taking her arm and guiding her down to her seat, making her huff, slumping her shoulders as class begins.
"Aizawa I'm happy you were able to remove your bandages." Tsuyu points out.
"The old lady got over dramatic with her treatment. But let's put that aside today's hero informatics period is a little special. It's time to formulate your codes names, your hero names." Aizawa scratches his cheek.
"YEAH!" Excitedly, the crowd chorus excitedly only to be swiftly silenced by Aizawa's angry ruby red glare swiftly silencing them.
"This is related to the pro hero draft picks by pros I mentioned the other day. The nominations will truly start mattering only after you've gained some experience and your adaptable fighting ability is judged during your sophomore and senior years. In other worlds, the nominations you're getting this year are more akin to expressions of interest in your future potential. And it's not rare that the interest dries up by graduation or is simply dropped." Calmly, Aizawa explains to his class.
"Damn grownups playing with our emotions." Mineta huffs glaring down at the tabletop.
"So, I guess the nominations we received are like personal hurdles then." Tooru offers optimistically.
"Yes, now the tally of nominations is as follows. Typically, the results are more balanced but this year all the attention leans towards two of you." Bored, Aizawa gestures to the bored.
"Damn it's so clear its practically black and white." Kaminari cranes his neck back when seeing Todoroki at the top with Bakugo trailing behind him.
"What about moi!? Those pros have no discerning eye." Huffing, Aoyama pouts.
"Looking though 1st and 2ns places are the reverse." Kaminari points out.
"Seeing him all straight jacketed on the winners stand must have scared them off." Sero offers.
"Pros ain' t gonna be scared!" Scowling, Bakugo bellows.
"Wait…he was in a straight jacket!?" Unnerved, Sayako furrows her brow turning to Mezo who simply nods his head.
"The hell Bakugo!?" Baffled, she turns to the crimson eyed boy.
"Shut up! This coming from the girl who had a cardiac arrest!" Bakugo snaps scowling at her.
"To be fair why the hell do I have interests, I nearly bloodied died." Lost, Sayako furrows her brow leaning back in her seat when seeing her in 3rd place.
"Guess they like scapegoats." Smirking, Kaminari points out.
"I…guess?" Uncertain, Sayako shrugs.
"Just as expected Todoroki," Tightly, Momo smiles at Todoroki.
"A lot of that's just gotta be because of my dad." Todoroki assumes.
"People want us!" Excitedly, Ochako squeals her hands on Tenya's shoulders, shaking him back and forth while he seems unfazed.
"None huh." Mineta places his hands on Midoriya's shoulders.
"I was afraid of that…" Midoriya sighs sadly.
"Based on this…regardless of whether or not you received nominations I'll be having you all go get some so called work place experience. Well you've all dipped a toe in the world of the pros. Unfortunately, but I think experience the activities of pros first-hand will prove to be more fruitful training than before." Bored, Aizawa explains.
"And cus of that we need hero names huh!? Things gotten fun all of a sudden!" Sato smirks.
"Of course placeholders names are fine too but something appropriate." Aizawa exclaims.
"Because if not it'll be hell from there…" Smoothly, a familiar voice calls out making Sayako flinch from it.
"Oh no…" Sayako groans slumping her shoulders dread coursing through her veins.
"Oh YES!"
*So I fixed the thing with Shoji sorry about that guys I think the way I imagined his voice would be a sort of endearing shut up Mineta but I can see why people saw it as out of character.*
