"Alright take five!" The director dictates as Sayako groans slumped on the bench exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features.
"Sorry about this Sayako…" One of the makeup artists smile softly at her.
"How does someone just drop a camera? "Confused, she furrows her brow seeing the male kneel down, collecting the glass, trying to clean up his mess.
"It's his first day on the job." The makeup artist tells her.
"Urgh…I could be studying right now…" Moping, Sayako slumps her shoulders whining craning her neck back looking up at the sky seeing the clouds going by only to falter, her greens widen when meeting a similar shade of her own.
"You studying? As much as I'd like to think you would I highly doubt it." The blonde before her joins Sayako's scowling side, wearing his civilian uniform.
"What are you doing here?" Fed up, Sayako groans.
"I heard there was a shoot, so I thought I'd come on by." Tsunagu tells her.
"You know this guy Sayako?" The makeup artist perks up at him.
"You could say that… " Sayako crosses her arms over her chest.
"Hey maybe he could join in he looks...!" Animatedly, the artist offers only to falter form Sayako's sharp scowl.
"He isn't interested." Curtly, Sayako snaps scowling, her leg over the other.
"I wouldn't say that…" Tsunagu places his leg over the other.
"And I would say you are now spill the heck are ya here for?" Sayako demands from him.
"I believe you mean why are you here." Calmly, Tsunagu corrects Sayako making her eye twitch.
"Oh for the stop correcting me the more you do the more I'll make mistakes." Mad, Sayako snaps at him.
"You are that petty?" Tutting, Tsunagu shakes his head.
"Just watch me old man." Sayako's greens narrow into his own.
"I'm not that old and I came to give you this…" Tsunagu sighs revealing two tickets making him furrow his brow.
"Ah so trying to buy my love again? Lovely tactic." Sayako sneers clicking her tongue at him.
"I am not trying to buy your love I simply believe this would be a good experience for you and a friend." Tsunagu confesses to her.
"Excuse you?" Sceptical, Sayako leans back briefly once more offended almost.
"I brought an extra one in case you wish to bring Hikaru or a friend?" Tsunagu offers.
"Why are you putting out friend as a question? I have friends." Firmly, Sayako snaps.
"Sure you do." Tsunagu remarks just as Sayako perks up at the director calling out to her.
"Did you just…urhg if that's it then fine." Fed up, she stands up from the bench about to head towards the shoot when…
"You took on Stain." Tsunagu calls out as she stops in her steps.
"Urgh…you think now is the time?" Tiredly, Sayako turns to him.
"I simply wish to tell you not to be so reckless, such foolishness will lead to more severe consequences Sayako." Strictly, Tsunagu warns him.
"And when have you ever cared about that? Don't worry I won't stain the denim jeans you got me if that's your worry." Spitefully, Sayako sneers.
"Sayako" Tsunagu begins sighing sadly.
"I got to go just do me a favour, leave me alone alright?" Angrily, Sayako sighs exhaustion etched into her tone brushing him off.
"Sayako…" Tsunagu sighs calling out to her his brow furrowed from the sight of the fleeting figure of his daughter leaving him alone as she finally finishes her shoot.
"I'm back." Sayako sighs as she enters her home, placing her coat to the side craning her neck from side to side her voice aching as she turns, her eyes widening when seeing the blue haired family before her.
"There she is!" Chirpily, Kazz stands from his seat, stretching his arms out to the alarmed Sayako.
"Hey sorry I was late some ass…huh?" Sayako blinks baffled trying to process the strangers in her home.
"Sayako it's nice to finally meet you." Tensei rolls over on his wheelchair towards the shell shocked Sayako.
"…Nice to meet you too…wha…what's going on?" Lost, Sayako turns to her father and brother for answers.
"The dinner party I told you about." Kazz smirks smugly down at her.
"You…told me about?" Astonished, Sayako blinks baffled.
"Before you ran off to study." He confirms nodding his head.
"Oh right…study." Shakily, she smiles uneasily, releasing a small chuckle of unease.
"Sayako I hope you have been preparing for this test." Tenya approaches her, smiling at her.
"Suuuure…" Sayako reels her neck back similar to a turtle coiling back into its shell.
"So how was the shoot?" Curious, Kazz asks her.
"Urgh some idiot dropped the camera, don't ask me how but he did so had to use the new one so that took a few hours then the same guy who drops the camera decided to go and propose to his girlfriend one of the models I think. "Unsure, Sayako furrows her brow at the memory.
"Aww how lovely!" Tenya's mother gushes.
"Yeah so next thing I know I'm dragged to some bar." Bitterly, Sayako huffs.
"B-Bar!?" Kazz blinks taken aback.
"Relax I didn't drink though the food was nice." Optimistically, Sayako offers.
"So you're not hungry." Disappointed, Kazz sighs.
"I did text you." Sayako argues.
"As did I." Kazz disputes.
"Like father like daughter." Amused, Tensei chuckles.
"We just came here to thank your father for his hard work with Tensei." Earnestly, Ida's mother smiles softly at her.
"Yeah our family owe your family a lot thanks for saving my brother I know he can be a bit hard-headed sometimes." Tensei smiles up at her.
"Brother!" Tenya hisses at him.
"Yeah you'd think that helmet of his would be harder." Jokingly, Sayako smirks.
"Hahah…" Tensei chuckles as Tenya groans at the two head in hands.
"Hope you guys enjoy your meal best I head up to bed you know how it is with…uh…" Nervously, Sayako scratches the back of her neck trailing off.
"Studying?" Sceptical, Kazz crosses his arms over his chest.
"Yes! That…night!" Awkwardly, Sayako grabs hold of her only excuse as she then trails off swiftly dismissing herself to leave, fleeing from the fight before her to head into the sanctuary that is her home, her bedroom to sleep…
"Papa?" Meekly, the voice calls out drowsily furrowing her brow at the sound of clanging, hearing the ring of metal as she peers through the doorway where she sees…
"Madam President what brings you here?" Politely, Tsunagu asks her as he places a tray of tea down before the two.
"We need to talk." Tense, the woman states scowling.
"Is all well with the commission?" Tsunagu asks trying to be polite.
"We simply came to see how the child was doing under your care." The president says earning said girl's attention.
"Kazz has treated the boy well he has shown no signs of hostility and his bruises are healing." Tsunagu reports to the two.
"Right and his venom?" The president queries causing Tsunagu to freeze from it.
"…That is something you will have to ask him." Politely, Tsunagu tells them.
"Tsunagu, you know why we're here." The president proclaims.
"This again?" Annoyed, Tsunagu scowls.
"Look we've let you both have this so called relationship for some time but things are getting out of hand." Huffing, the man by the president side speaks up.
"Really now?" Tsunagu hums.
"We saw you speak to Kiyoko." The present points out.
"She is my sister-in-law." Tsunagu reminds them.
"With a powerful quirk, a quirk that can endanger us all…" Patiently, the president attempts to explain but…
"We are not talking about this." Tiredly, Tsunagu sighs cutting her off.
"Best Jeanist if the people were to find out the truth about you lot playing house they'll riot!" The man by the president's side says.
"I doubt they would." Tsunagu scoffs.
"You have a responsibility to the people, to society you can't let them down, hiding such a shameful secret is something we have been doing for quite some time but we need something in return." Resolute, the president points out.
"Kazz and I have already told you these are our children." Tsunagu reminds them.
"They aren't children, they are far more than that, these children could help us in our research they could…" Proudly, the man by the president's side declares arms stretched out.
"My children will not be another child soldier for you lot." Tsunagu snaps scowling at the president and her lackey.
Have you seen the death threats sent to your so-called husband? What were you thinking going to America to be wed!? Showing this picture online!? Do you know how hard our PR department had to straighten the situation out." Haughtily, the man standing by the president's side sneers as Tsunagu flinches from his words while another pair of green watch on shaking, quivering, quaking…death threats? Did she hear that right? Why? What had her father done that would cause that? He was a hero, he saved people…perplexed, the girl continues watching on.
"We simply wished to share our happiness." Tsunagu affirms sitting down.
"Your happiness? And what of the people? Of your fans? Of your fellow heroes? This is not an example you should be setting for hero society we are about saving people not…not this. This is not natural Tsunagu, you're children weren't even made the correct way they aren't even human!" Angrily, the male standing over the president slams his fist down on the table making the blonde girl flinch from the sharp snap while her father remains composed, bored even by the display.
"Aren't human?" Tsunagu raises a brow his grip tightening around his tea.
"They were…listen to me none of this is natural if your fans find out they'll freak and all this will be gone. Your children could be in danger if this leaks…you are all ruined, you, your…partner and your kids. So I suggest you delete this post right now." Sternly, she reveals said post, an anniversary picture posted by Tsunagu on his personal profile of the two smiling, gold bands coiled around their fingers.
"…And if I don't?" Tsunagu challenges unfazed.
"If you don't we will. We have tried to play nice with you playing house but this must end now. You are a hero, people look up to you, if they saw this…imagine the looks of horror on their faces if they found out the truth." The president explains making Tsunagu flinch from her words having seen a fair few comments with colourful curses from the sheer sight of the photo alone to threats, to…
"…" Tsunagu sips his tea.
"You know we're right. The people…they aren't ready for this. Not now…we have enough on our hands dealing with mutants let alone whatever you think you're trying to do. Those things you made aren't human, they aren't children, they aren't people. What you made were weapons, you were selfish Tsunagu if they tell the truth of their origin to people you'd be endangering Kiyoko you'd be endangering them, they'll never be accepted into society for what they are for what you are…" Poisonously, the president exclaims unaware of a certain blonde watching on lost, flinching from the president's cruel cold words.
"…She is my sister-in-law. I have a right to see her." Tsunagu reminds the woman.
"And we had her agree she wouldn't use her quirk. We been lenient with her in the past, we are fine with her doing it for those troubled, for proper parents but you...? A child needs a mother's warmth, they need stability something you cannot provide, not whatever you call this farce. This sort of environment breeds abnormality and abnormality leads to villainy, leads to problems for us in the long run if we don't deal with it." Unfazed, the president dictates gesturing to the place making Tsunagu's eyes narrow.
"She's suffered enough under your probation and my children are not abnormalities nor will you refer to them as it's in my household is that understood?" Poisonously, Tsunagu argues.
"…She's suffered nothing what we are doing is for the good of the world these things she makes are not alive, aren't human they are no more than weapons. Which is what you lot have made and if you aren't careful." Calmly, the president explains as the blonde watching on eye's dilate from her words, clearly confused by the sheer disgust dripping down the regal woman's lips.
"You won't touch them." Tsunagu states the fact of the matter resolute, feeling the fibres tighten around him, around the web around the apartment naked to the untrained eye but not Tsunagu's nor Sayako.
"And why not? They want to be heroes don't they? We have the perfect program for them…" Proudly, the president states making Tsunagu's eyes narrow at her.
"…Not like that. Nothing like that." Tsunagu states slamming the tray down, his fingertips twitching trying to keep composed bowing his head disgusted.
"We expect to see you out of whatever this thing is by Saturday there's also a dating show we expect to see you on, they'll straighten you out…" Resolute, the president dictates before turning towards the door and leaving with her workers.
"Papa?" Meekly, the voice calls out making Tsunagu flinch from the voice turning to the blonde peering in.
"Sayako sweetheart what…what are you doing here?" Tsunagu questions her.
"Why were those people back here again?" Anxiously, the young girl questions her brow furrowed her hues darting towards the door towards a certain bedroom.
"Nothing you need to worry about." Tsunagu tells her.
"Dad…you're not going to listen to them…right?" Worried, the girl furrows her brow at the door slammed shut, they wouldn't leave them alone.
"Sayako…" Tsunagu sighs kneeling down to the girl.
"You won't right? You know they're wrong right? I'm…I'm human right?" Unsure, Sayako looks up at her father, his olive hues meeting a similar shimmering shade to his own.
"Of course you are. No matter what they say you are human, you and Hiakru both are natural no matter what they say." Sweetly, Tsunagu leans down placing his temple to her own.
"So…you won't?" Softly, she smiles up at her father.
"I promise. As if I'd let them touch you. Now go to bed okay?" Lovingly, Tsunagu places his hand on her head ruffling up her blonde roots, staring down at his phone.
"Okay!" Smiling, Sayako beams brightly at her father before turning on her heel about to leave unaware of her father's furrowed brow, staring down at his phone, swiftly placing said image down from the post unaware of a pair of olive watching on, a shimmering sheen to her hues at the sight before slamming her eyelids shut and heading to bed, oblivious to her father swiftly texting a certain someone…we need to talk.
"So…how's studying going?" Cheerily, Kazz questions Sayako who furrows her brow when she pauses her game, both her ad Hikaru sharing a look at one another before turning to the eerie smile of Kazz.
"It's…getting there." Frowning, Sayako answers, feeling a shy stream of sweat slide down her facial features.
"Are you sure about that?" Tensely, Kazz further furrows his brow at Sayako.
"Course I am!" Annoyed, Sayako snaps scowling at Kazz.
"She's just taking a break dad." Hikaru joins in, making both of them smirk smugly as they return to their game.
"Oh really? Then you wouldn't mind if I invited someone over…?" Kazz calls out making them furrow their brow both brother and sister sharing a look of unease.
"Who are you…?" Slowly, Sayako stands furrowing her brow just as the door bursts open to reveal…oh no, horrified, a wave of dread flows through Sayako at the sheer sight of the person before them.
"Thank you, Mr Sashiko, for inviting me my mother thought it best to bring these." Tenya bows his head to Kazz handing over a bag of some sort.
"Isn't that kind of her? Such a nice woman isn't that nice Sayako?" Sadistically, Kazz smirks smugly at the scowling Sayako, her eye twitching sending internal curses at Kazz.
"You son of a…" Sayako begins, her hand curling in on herself, her nails digging deep into the plush pillow of her palm.
"Sayako you mentioned struggling with revision as class president it's my duty to help my fellow classmate allow me to help you pass." Passionately, Tenya declares.
"Whaaa I'm perfectly fine I don't know what my idiot father told you but…" Feebly, Sayako smiles uneasily sweat dropping attempting to argue stammering, stuttering but…
"Nonsense perhaps comparing notes will help us." Tenya considers as Sayako sputters attempting to argue attempting to stop him only to feel a hand on her as next thing she knew she was in her room.
"So this is your room…" Tenya takes note of making her scowl, crossing her arms over her chest hating every single second of it all, wanting this to be over with.
"Sorry if its not as big as yours." Bitterly, Sayako slumps her shoulders.
"No I mean it's very cosy." Optimistically, Tenya smiles.
"That's your recovery jeez…" Sayako shakes her head at him.
"It's nice, this room certainly screams you if we could just…tidy up a bit." Tenya furrows his brow at the clothes scattered all over the place.
"Hey, they say a room represents your mind what you judge is judging my mental state." Scowling, Sayako says.
"I'm sure now let's begin…" Tenya sits down as Sayako kicks the table in the middle making Tenya flinch from the movement as she sits down, papers scattered about the place as they begin the set up.
"Um about that…" Sayako smiles uneasily as she reveals said papers.
"You've done none!" Horrified, Tenya gawks at her.
"I tried okay! I tried!" Feebly, Sayako raises her hands in mock surrender.
"This is barely eligible!" Tenya scolds her making her grimace.
"I know alright urgh I just can't okay!? My brain gets side-tracked okay I just urgh…" Groaning, Sayako places her head into her hands.
"It's fine I shouldn't have shouted no one is perfect after all. Now let's start from the top." Tiredly, Tenya slumps his shoulders, bowing his head as the tutoring begins…
"Urgggh..I can't feel my head." Defeated, Sayako places her head down on the tabletop groaning in defeat as Tenya lowers his glasses to the table, perking Sayako's interest as she sneakily takes hold of the glasses.
"What are you doing?" Tiredly, Tenya pinches the bridge of his nose.
"Bored. Besides I think they suit me." Mischievously, Sayako winks as she places the glasses on making Tenya's blues widen when seeing her green hues, a faint ruby red tint to his cheeks at the sight.
"They do but still you did pretty well hm what's this?" Tenya raises a brow as he takes back the glasses putting them back on only then to perk up at a cracked photo frame.
"What's what?" Sayako furrows her brow.
"Isn't that the boy who fought Midoriya?" Mystifed, Tenya points out making Sayako's eyes expand.
"Give me that!" Tensely, Sayako snaps swiping the frame out of his grasp, her greens softening sadly at the cracked glassed frame, slumping her shoulders at the sight of the two teens standing side by side, one simply staring stoically the other, small one is winking in the photo.
"I didn't know you were acquainted…" Tenya whispers snapping Sayako out of her thoughts.
"You…could say that." Tensely, her fingertips dig deep into the wooden frame of the picture.
"Then again you did seem to know his quirk but things seemed tense for you to." Thoughtfully, Tenya points out making Sayako scowl.
"That…Tenya…it's complicated alright?" Annoyed, Sayako sighs her tone tense, irritation laced in her tired tone.
"I apologise for asking…Apologetic, Tenya bows his head making her sigh shakily.
"No it's fine it's just…another relationship I fucked up." Grimly, Sayako whispers sadly, solemnly, bowing her head, pain laced in her tone making Tenya's bright blues widen when hearing her words.
"S-Sayako! That isn't…you're…" Worried, Tenya tries to explain, a ruby red tint darkening deeper across his cheeks, the blush blistering against his cheek trying to talk, trying to speak, trying to say something as he moves his arm about only to gasp from the sudden movement causing the drinks offered prior to come crashing down.
"Shit!" Sayako gasps cursing as she staggers back at her stained suit, the dampness descending down to the floor.
"S-Sayako I'm so sorry apologies!" Tenya's features flare ruby red when seeing the brief outline of..
"It's fine just get some cloth would ya?" Sayako sighs crouching, curling close to herself trying to cover herself.
"R-Right!" Clumsily, Tenya nods rushing out of the room and leaves.
"Urhg idiot." Sayako huffs grumbling glaring to the side only for her greens to gaze down at a familiar shattered frame. Sighing, she shakes her head at the memory brushing it off as she shuffles over to the wardrobe prying the damp shirt clinging to her off as she opens her wardrobe, taking out a lilac striped snow-white shirt, making her eyes expand at the sight, a brief look of panic upon her features from the shirt.
"You…a hero? Why would you want to be one of those fakes?"
"They aren't fake! Just because your dad may be fake doesn't mean I'll be like that either!"
"Someone like you shouldn't waste their time to become one of those fakes!"
"Sayako I know you sad you were full but my mother insisted you'd…" Suddenly, the door swings open making both boy and girl freeze from the sight an awkward silence filling the air as Tenya gawks gaping at her form, ruby red rushing over Tenya's face.
"Um Tenya you…" Sayako begins concerned her eyes expanding alarmed at the sight of ruby red leaking down his nostrils as before she could say anything else….
"I-I'm sorry!" Swiftly, Tenya swiftly slams the door shut leaving the lost Sayako more confused than ever.
