Prowl and Jazz were working on Prowl's processor-over-matter by having Prowl lift some barrels of oil. Prowl lifted an oil barrel which impressed Jazz.
"Master Yoketron had it pegged you're the real deal, Prowl. So how come you never wrapped up your Cyber-ninja training?"
Before Prowl could answer, they heard Bumblebee speeding towards them.
"Guy! Guy!" he yelled, causing Prowl to lose his concentration and drop the oil can, causing it to spill. "Big news!"
Bumblebee and Bulkhead droved in at breakneck speeds. Then they skid on the spilt oil across the floor, and Prowl and Jazz jumped out of the way as they skidded, buying collided into the wall.
"That two reasons right there," said Prowl.
Bulkhead then transformed to robot mode. "I just picked up Omega Supreme energy signature and—"
"He's on the moon, Earth's moon!" Bumblebee finished.
The Decepticons had set up base at the wreckage of the Nemesis. From within the Orion, Shockwave was attempting to extract the recognition code from Arcee.
"Shockwave, have you extracted those recognition codes yet?" Megatron asked somewhat impatiently.
"Soon, my liege, I just need to probe a little deeper," said Shockwave as he fiddled with Arcee's processor.
Arcee then suddenly awoke. "Good morning, young bots, my name's teaching unit AC-687040, but you can call me Acree."
"Forgive me, Lord Megatron," said Shockwave. "That appears to be an older data track from before the war. It would seem as if she was once a schoolteacher."
"We need those codes to control Omega Supreme, and if any bot can access them, it is you, my ever loyal Shockwave," said Megatron.
"Uh-oh, looks like Megatron has a new favourite," Starscream smirked at Lugnut. "And I will give you a hint; it ain't you."
Lugnut then marched up, knocking Shockwave aside rather forcibly. "Allow me, master. Haven't I not served you loyally?"
"That's a very good question, young bot," said Arcee. "Only the AllSpark knows for sure."
Shockwave picked himself up and narrowed his optics at Lugnut. "Are you fawning at Megatron's feet? I risked spark and servo as a double agent on Cybertron!"
"Cybertron is our home planet," said Arcee. "We must protect it from the growing Decepticon menace… menace… Decepticon menace…"
"Can't you shut her up?" Megatron growled at Shockwave. "She makes Blitzwing sound like he's got his head screwed on straight."
"You see, now he even likes Blitzwing better than you," Starscream smirked at Lugnut.
"No!" Lugnut roared, shoving Shockwave aside so he could face Starscream. "I am the most faithful!"
"Have you blown a diode!" Shockwave yelled as he picked himself up. "I'm trying to work here!"
"I did nothing!" Lugnut roared.
In no time at all, the two of them began fighting one another.
Thundercracker and Skywarp just stood there looking at the two of them are you and chose not to get involved.
"Oh, for spark sake," Megatron groaned as he began to suffer from a processor ache.
While Lugnut and Shockwave wrestled with one another, Starscream rolled off the table and entered the corridor.
"That should keep them busy while I tend to some urgent business," he said, lapping quietly as he rolled away.
Back at the plant, all the Autobots and Sari were looking on the monitors.
"The energy signature hasn't moved," Optimus observed.
"That confirms that Megatron got control of Omega Supreme. I say we go, rescuer, him and Arcee. We needed to use the Magnus Hammer," said Ratchet, handing the said hammer to Optimus.
Optimus looked at hammer and instantly began thinking back to when he was expelled from the Elite Guard.
When Optimus, Elita and Sentinel returned to Cybertron, they were immediately arrested. Elita was taken to the infirmary leaving Ultra Magnus to pass judgement on Optimus and Sentinel.
"Cadet Optimus! Cadet Sentinel!" said Ultra Magnus. "You stand accused of trespassing on an organic planet, in violation of Cybertronian Law! Resulting in the mutation of Cadet Elita-1. Before pronounced judgement, do you have any final statements?"
"Optimus was the one that abandoned Elita in the first place resulting in her mutation," said Sentinel.
"So you've testified, cadet," said Ultra Magnus narrowing his optics. "But I suspect there is more to the story that meets the optic sensors. I would hear Cadet Elita-1's story if it wasn't for the fact that she needs to be kept in quarantine. Additionally, there is no telling what kind of drama her mutation has caused her processor, so I can't say for certain if the report would be accurate." He then turned his head to Optimus. "Whose idea was it to go to this planet?"
"I was the senior Cadet, sir," said Optimus. "Whatever happened was my responsibility."
Ultra Magnus turned his gaze onto Sentinel. "Anything you wish to add?"
"No, sir," said Sentinel.
Ultra Magnus looked disappointed; there is no doubt his processor that Sentinel came up with the idea. However, since Optimus stated that you take full responsibility and Elita couldn't give her version, he was left with no choice.
"Then you leave me no choice," he said and looked at Optimus. "Cadet Optimus, you are hereby… expelled from Autobot Academy and ineligible for service in the Elite Guard."
Optimus expected nothing less.
"I had hoped that someday he would achieve greatness, perhaps even prove yourself a worthy Magnus," Ultra Magnus admitted. "But clearly, being a hero was not in your programming."
Optimus then quickly snapped back into the present.
"I… we can't us that," he said.
"Then how are we supposed to take on Megatron?" Bulkhead asked.
"We got to even up the odds somehow," said Jazz.
"It took all this plus Sentinel to take down Starscream, and you can bet Megatron will be even tougher," Moonracer reminded him. "I sure hope you have a plan."
"I do, but it does not involve the Magnus Hammer," said Optimus. "What I had in mind was an upgrade. Some kind of rocket booster so that I can keep up with Megatron."
Ratchet looked at him as if he was crazy. "Are you out of your motherboarding mind? Autobots don't fly!"
"What about Jetfire and Jetstorm," Bulkhead pointed out.
"And Prowl's rocket sidecar thingy," Bumblebee added.
"As was my boosters," Elita added.
"Hey, even I have a jetpack," said Sari.
"You can take my armour to study its boosters," Prowl offered as he removed his jet boosters.
"And I know my dad want to help. He's a wiz at reverse engineering," said Sari.
"I also did a bit of research on flight tech back at the Academy," said Elita.
"I should have processor examined," Ratchet grumbled as he shook his head.
"Meanwhile, we need to find out what Megatron is planning," said Optimus.
"I'll transwarp to the Moon and spy on him," Prowl offered.
"And take five on your Cyber-Ninja training?" said Jazz. "No dice. You're close to a real breakthrough. And I got a vibe that says we're gonna need every advantage we can get our servos on."
"Agreed, we'll send someone else," said Optimus.
"Who'd be crazy enough to volunteer for that mission?" Bumblebee asked, and then he saw everyone looking at him. "Why's everyone looking at me? Why's everyone always looking at me?"
"Don't worry, I'll accompany you; I got high marks on infiltration back at the Academy," Moonracer smiled.
Meanwhile, on the wreckage of the Nemesis, Starscream was in his old lab.
"Be it ever so humble; there are no bot-like clones," he smiled. "And now for the secret ingredient… protoforms."
Inside his lab was an exact replica of his old body, and a mechanical arm immediately grabbed a protoform that was stored within the Nemesis. The mechanical arm placed the protoform inside the chest of Starscream's body.
The moment it was placed inside, the protoform turned into liquid and began filling in the gaps within Starscream's body. Then the mechanical arm grabbed his head and screwed it onto the body.
"Ah, so nice to have a real body again," Starscream smiled, looking at his new servos.
"Enjoy it while you can, Starscream!" said Megatron as he entered the lab. "It's the last one you ever have!"
He then aimed his fusion cannon and destroyed all of Starscream's clones.
"Have mercy, Megatron," Starscream grovelled. "I-I was merely building you an army to serve our great Decepticon cause. After all, you have seen how useful my clones are first-hand."
"There also a pain in the neck joint," said Megatron as he walked past Starscream and looked at protoforms. "You also think far too small, Starscream. I have plans for these protoforms, much bigger plans."
"Naturally, you would wish to clone yourself, oh great one."
Megatron looked outside and smiled. "Bigger…"
Starscream looked outside to see Shockwave, Lugnut and his clones gathering wreckage. Lugnut pulled hard on a piece of metal he was holding and ended up toppling over, causing Shockwave and the clones to laugh.
"Not that idiot Lugnut," said Starscream looking back at Megatron.
Megatron merely smiled. "Bigger…"
Starscream looked back outside, wondering what could be bigger than Lugnut, and then his optics fell upon Omega Supreme.
"Oh… I see," he said.
Meanwhile, deep in the woods, Prowl and Jazz were meditating while Jazz taught him to commune with the AllSpark.
"Get with it, Prowl," said Jazz. "The AllSpark ain't just in your circuits dig. It's grooving all around us. Reach out and hook yourself into it."
"I feel it," said Prowl.
He then collected the ambient dispersed AllSpark energy in the area and condensed it into a solid AllSpark fragment.
Jazz stared. "An AllSpark fragment? Crazy!"
"You forget, on this planet, the AllSpark literally is grooving all around us," said Prowl as the AllSpark fragment fell into his servos.
Meanwhile, both Bumblebee and Moonracer transwarped to the Moon.
"Okay, we just need to keep our heads down, plant the transmitter and transwarp home. How hard can that be?" said Bumblebee as he put the plasma dynamic thruster into his storage compartment.
"I wish you handset at," said Moonracer.
Regardless they began climbing out of the crater they had transwarped into. They could definitely see there was some sort of construction going on, but there was no clue as to what they were building.
Bumblebee quietly snuck up to some scaffolding only to discover that it was Shockwave's elongated legs. He nearly yelled, but thankfully Moonracer placed a hand over his mouth and then placed a single finger over her lips.
Shockwave appeared to be doing some welding on the remains of the Nemesis, and he chucked a piece aside. Sadly the set piece was heading straight towards Bumblebee and Moonracer, who quickly transformed to vehicle mode to drive out the way. Unfortunately, in their rush, Bumblebee dropped the transmitter, and it got crushed by the piece of metal.
They quickly made it all the way over to Omega Supreme and then transformed back to robot mode.
"Oh man, the transmitter," Bumblebee moaned.
"We're going to have to come up with another plan," said Moonracer.
"Can't we use your camera?" Bumblebee asked.
Moonracer shook her head. "My camera has a very limited range; to use it effectively, I would have to stay here constantly, and that is far too dangerous. Especially considering that Shockwave isn't the only bot in Megatron's arsenal."
Bumblebee followed her gaze and saw that she was right as he spotted Lugnut working with Thundercracker and Skywarp. If that wasn't bad enough, Starscream himself was with them, and he had reacquired a body.
"This solar cycle just gets better and better," Bumblebee moaned.
To avoid getting spotted, they climbed into Omega Supreme by the service ducts and entered the bridge. Bumblebee poked his head out, looked around, and found the place completely empty.
"Man, that was close," said Bumblebee as he and Moonracer climbed out the service ducts.
"Good morning, young bots," said a voice behind them.
They spun around and found Arcee on berth with wires all around her processor.
"Wow, you all most scared the spark out of us," said Bumblebee.
"The first day of school is always scary," said Arcee. "My name is Arcee."
"Hey, I know Ratchet is always going on about you," said Bumblebee.
"You're no longer protoforms, so I'm sure you have a million questions?" said Arcee as Bumblebee waved his servo in front of her face.
"What's wrong with her?" Bumblebee asked.
"I don't know, but I think they're trying to extract the command codes they might have accidentally accessed an early data track," Moonracer theorised. "Ratchet did mention she was a schoolteacher before the war."
"Then we better get her out of here," said Bumblebee, but stopped when he noticed the wires attached to her head. "Which would be a bad idea if those wires are what keeping you online? But maybe you can help us to listen in on Megatron."
Bumblebee then turned on her comlink.
Moonracer looked at him rather impressed. "Using her comlink to spy on the Decepticons, not bad."
"I have my moments," Bumblebee shrugged and then pulled out the dynamic thruster from his storage compartment. He then looked back at Arcee. "We'll be back for you, I promise."
Then both he and Moonracer transwaped out.
A few moments later, they landed on the platform on Sumdac Tower, where Bulkhead was waiting for them.
"Did you plat the transmitter?" Bulkhead asked.
"Not exactly, but we opened up Arcee's comlink listen," said Bumblebee as he ran to the computer.
"Lugnut, take that… And use it on the… To build the…" said Megatron's voice.
"What's he building up there?" Bulkhead asked.
"No clue, but it's something big," said Moonracer.
Ratchet, Elita Sari, and Professor Sumdac were working on the jetpack.
"No, you're off by two millimetres," said Sari.
"Don't tell me where to wield," Ratchet snapped.
"Don't argue with her, trust me," Professor Sumdac advised.
"I'm not going to argue because I know this thing will never fly," said Ratchet.
"Not with an attitude it won't," said Elita as she welded some wires together. "Though the rate we're going, this thing won't be able to lift a Minicon, let alone Optimus."
Ratchet turned the jet pack on, and it just fired some smoke out of the rockets.
Sari then placed her hand on it and scanned the boosters. "You're right. We need to add a microgenerator to the fuel line."
"And I suppose the rocket boosters just told you that?" said Ratchet sceptically.
"Kinda," she shrugged.
"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever—" Then he stopped as he checks the rocket boosters. "Wait! I've got it! We'll add a microgenerator to the fuel line!"
"Hmm, now why didn't I think of that?" Sari smugly.
A few moments later, Optimus was wearing the jet pack for its first test run. They had also installed foam cannons and a pair of powerful gauntlets.
"Okay, Prime, let's test these boosters, but take it easy," said Ratchet. "
"Well, Prime, how do you feel?" Ratchet asked. "Start at five per cent power."
Optimus then activated the boosters.
"You got it," said Optimus before being propelled upwards on a blazing stream of jet energy.
Ratchet and the others were not back and watched as Optimus screamed as he flew straight out of the plant. Optimus then began flying uncontrollably over the plant, screaming his voicebox off.
"Maybe the throttle needs adjusting!" said Ratchet.
"RATCHET!" Optimus roared.
Optimus then flew straight at Sumdac Tower. He managed to pull up before he hit. They, he flew around and around a blimp and crashed straight into the ground.
"That's going to leave a mark," Elita winced.
Professor Sumdac and Sari looked at Ratchet. "Stabilisers?" they suggested.
"Stabilisers," Ratchet nodded.
Moments later, they outfitted the jet pack with a pair of wings. Also, they felt it was prudent to put as much distance between them and Optimus as possible, so they hung out by the water tower.
"You know, maybe Autobots weren't meant to fly after all," said Optimus looking up at them.
"Hey, what can possibly go wrong?" said Sari. "I mean offer than the obviously painful crashing burning stuff."
"Huh, okay. Let's try this again," Optimus sighed. He then activated his jets and flew into the air, and she was able to control himself this time. "Hey, it's working. It feels fanatic!"
"Great, but be careful out there," said Ratchet over the com.
"Let's open her up and see what I can really do," said Optimus said and flew even faster.
He was having so much fun, but then he remembered the day Ultra Magnus gave him his first command.
Ultra Magnus was leading him and Elita, who was now calling herself Blackarachnia, down a corridor to their new ship.
"I always knew you had a special spark, Optimus," said Ultra Magnus. "And your stellar cycles of service have more than proven it. While can't have you or Blackarachnia reinstating to the Elite Guard. I was able to pull some strings and get you your own ship to command. I even managed to enlist Blackarachnia as your science officer and second-in-command."
"I'm just grateful to be out of that science lab," Blackarachnia muttered.
Optimus elbowed her, and reluctantly, she followed his lead and saluted Ultra Magnus.
"We won't let you down, sir," Optimus promised.
"Congratulations, Optimus Prime," said Ultra Magnus saluting them. "And Blackarachnia, I do hope there will be a day will appeal to call you Elita-1 again."
He then turned and left.
"He might be waiting a long time," Blackarachnia muttered under her breath.
The bay doors opened, and they turned their eyes to their new ship.
"Ah, my own ship," said Optimus.
However, when they saw the ship, Optimus excitement faded instantly. It was smaller than he expected and rather battered, covered in scorch marks and leaking oil.
"Impressive," said Blackarachnia with dry sarcasm.
"Excellent," said Optimus with no enthusiasm.
"I know," said Ratchet as he pulled himself out beneath the ship. "It may not look like much, but this one still has plenty of stellar cycles left in him. It's the young bots you've got to worry about."
Optimus and Blackarachnia then followed his gaze towards Bulkhead, whose servos were tied in wires and Bumblebee, who was trying to free him with his stingers.
Back in the present, Slipstream saw Optimus flying overhead and mistook him for Starscream.
"Starscream! You've got some nerve showing your wing struts back here!" she growled and transformed into vehicle mode and chased him down.
Once she was close, she began to fire at Optimus, hitting his jet pack. He spun around, and that was the first time Slipstream realised that he wasn't Starscream.
"Wait… you're not Starscream," she said, stunned. "Y-you're flying Autobot."
Optimus lost control, began plummeting towards the ground, and landed right in the river.
Slipstream flew overhead and transformed to robot mode, but when he didn't come back up again, she transformed back to her vehicle mode and took off.
Meanwhile, on Omega Supreme, Shockwave was still attempting to find the correct data files.
"It is in there somewhere," he said and found what he was looking for. "Ah ha!"
Arcee stood up and saluted. "Sir! Intel agent Arcee reporting for duty!"
Shockwave then morphed into Longarm and saluted. "Security Chief Longarm! Confirm security code and begin debrief!"
"Sir! Field Tech Ratchet and I were captured by the Decepticon bounty hunter Lockdown and—"
"That's not important now," said Shockwave. "Can you still access the Project Omega activation codes?"
"Yes, sir!"
Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Moonracer will listen to the conversation thanks to Arcee's open comlink.
"Uh, that can't be good," said Bumblebee looking at the others.
"That's all I need to hear," said Shockwave and then ripped the wires connecting to her processor.
The moment that he did, she went limp and collapsed. Additionally, the Autobots lost the signal to Arcee's comlink.
"Arcee?" said Bumblebee and slowly looked at the others. "What happened to her signal?"
"There's not a problem on our end; whatever happened on theirs," said Moonracer regretfully, and Bulkhead closed his optics solemnly.
"No," said Bumblebee.
Optimus, meanwhile, just pulled himself out of the river just as Bulkhead contacted everyone on their comlinks.
"Guys, we got trouble," said Bulkhead. "Megatron's got Arcee's recognition code."
"Prime, we can't wait any longer. We have to rescue them now!" Ratchet cried.
"Huh, how am I suppose to take on Megatron if I even beat that two-bit Starscream wannabe," Optimus grumbled.
On the moon, the Decepticons were just putting the final touches on the Omega clones.
"Starscream… Lugnut… the protoforms," Megatron ordered.
Starscream and Lugnut inserted the clones into the three chassis of the clones. There we had enough materials to create three Omega Supremes, but it originally did take 12 for the Autobots to win the Great War. The moment they inserted the protoforms, the liquid metal expanded, filling the joints within the clones after scanning Omega Supreme.
"Shockwave, the recognition code," said Megatron looking rather excited.
Shockwave fired a jolt of electricity from his antenna and then placed his claws around Arcee's head. The electricity immediately rebooted Arcee, and then he quickly transformed into Longarm.
"Change in plans," said Shockwave. "Omega made a new mental bot to imprint upon. Give me that give me, Agent Arcee."
Arcee then spotted Megatron smiling down at her. "But… that's Megatron. If I give up the code—"
"The Omega Supreme will blindly follow my commands," Megatron finished.
"No!" said Arcee turning to Shockwave. "I won't do it! I can't!"
"In that case, I'll just have to extract them manually," said Shockwave and morphed into his original form.
Shockwave then fired a jolt of electricity from his antenna, striking Arcee, and she screamed in pain before becoming motionless. Her head then opened up, and a beam of light began to form in the middle of the forehead as she was about to fight the recognition code strictly at Megatron.
"How I have waited for this moment," said Megatron.
Starscream then suddenly landed on top of him, putting himself in front of Arcee.
"No! Me!" Starscream cried. "Let Omega Supreme imprint on me!"
He was then suddenly punched in the face by Lugnut. "I will protect you, Master!"
Arcee then lost the recognition code, which entered into Lugnut.
"Ha, once again, the mighty Megatron has failed!" Starscream mocked.
"Have I?" said Megatron as he rose to his feet.
"Oh, you don't actually expect me to believe you planned that," said Starscream as Thundercracker and Skywarp grabbed his arms and pulled him towards Megatron.
"And instil them with my own powerful personality?" said Megatron. "The clones might try to overthrow me, as your own clones proved when they betrayed you."
"Megatron deserves a truly powerful warrior like myself to fight alongside him," said Thundercracker.
"Megatron is too terrifying ever to betray," said Skywarp.
"But the same cannot be said for my most loyal lieutenant," said Megatron turning to Lugnut.
"I am honoured, my lord," Lugnut bowed and then sneered at Shockwave. "Ha, Megatron trusts me the most."
"Ah, but your clones are just sparkless shells without my AllSpark fragment to bring them online," Starscream reminded them as he revealed his fragment buried in his forehead.
"Who needs your fragment?" said Megatron and pulled out a servo full AllSpark fragments. "The ones that I found in Omega Supreme's spark chamber should do just fine." He then raised his fusion cannon at Starscream. "You're no longer of use to me."
Thundercrack and Skywarp released Starscream just before Megatron fired, sending him flying and blasting his legs clean off.
Meanwhile, at the plant, all the Autobots had gathered while Ratchet repaired him.
"Ouch, ohh, easy!" Optimus winced as Ratchet welded him.
"Serves you right going off half cock like that," said Ratchet. "I told you we need the Magnus Hammer."
"I-I just don't feel using it is in my programming," said Optimus looking at the hammer.
Elita then marched up towards him with a disapproving look on her face. "Now you listen to me, Optimus Prime and listen good. It is about time that you forgive yourself as I have. You have proven time and time again that being a hero is in your programming."
"But Ultra Magnus said it wasn't," said Optimus.
"Sometimes fate makes its own programming," said Prowl.
Optimus then began thinking back to the days when he and his crew were mending Space Bridges. Their first job was to clean some rubble around a Space Bridge; Optimus was using his axe to break several rocks, and Ratchet stacks some miniature Energon cubes, nearly dropping one and blowing themselves up.
Blackarachnia had copied Bulkhead's strength and Bumblebee's stingers to break some rocks. Bumblebee and Bulkhead, meanwhile, were doing the exact same thing with their powers until Bulkhead smashed his way through some rock, revealing a small cavern.
When he looked inside, he saw Prowl sitting there meditating next to his ship. "Look, there's some bot in there."
They broke away most of the rock and approached Prowl, who had moved an inch.
"Is he offline?" Bumblebee asked.
"I don't think so; you must be a stasis or something," said Bulkhead.
"Why don't you touch him and find out?"
"No way! You touch him!"
"You think I won't? Watch me."
Bumblebee then slowly approached Prowl and reached out to touch his shoulder. However, before he did, Prowl suddenly grabbed his hand, making the two of them jump.
"Do you mind!" Prowl snapped furiously. "I'm trying to meditate."
"Don't worry, we'll just work around you," Bulkhead assured him.
Prowl groaned. "A million stellar cycles trying to commune with the AllSpark, and all I have to show for it is a massive processorache."
"We'll be so quiet; you won't even know we're here," Bumblebee promised.
It was at that point that Ratchet dropped Energon cubes, which fell through a crack directly above them.
"Fire in the hole!" Ratchet yelled.
The three of them saw the Energon cube, and Bulkhead quickly grabbed Prowl, and they ran out of the cave. Seconds later, the cube exploded, destroying the cave and Prowl's ship.
"My ship! Now, how am I supposed to get off this spark-forsaken rock!" Prowl yelled angrily.
"How about you try calming down," said Blackarachnia as she and Optimus approached him.
"We can transport you once we finish in this sector," Optimus assured him. "It shouldn't be long, 50 or 60 stellar cycles tops. Of course, if you lend a servo, it might speed things up."
Prowl looked infuriated. "You expect me to be a common maintenance bot!"
"At least we do something for a living; all you seem to do is to sit around doing nothing," Blackarachnia glared.
Prowl was about to respond, but Optimus quickly stepped in. "This is our best offer; take it or leave it."
"First, I failed to protect the protoforms, and now this!" Prowl yelled and then punched a nearby boulder splitting it apart. "Do you have any idea what it's like to embark on a path only to find it completely twisted and turned that you have no idea where you are?"
Optimus then placed a servo on his shoulder and gave him an understanding look. "Oddly enough, I do."
Blackarachnia sighed. "He's not the only one."
Optimus was then brought back to the present by Bulkhead.
"Boss-bot, I'm picking up another signal on the Moon," Bulkhead reported as he looked at the monitor. "Actually, three new signals can't be right. Maybe there's interference from sunspots or something."
"I don't think we're going to be that lucky," said Moonracer.
On the moon, Lugnut just inserted the recognition code into the Omega Supreme clones, and the moment he did, their faces moulded in an exact replica of his.
"It's time to test my new squadron, and what better target than the Earth city where the Autobots had taken refuge," said Megatron as he turned his gaze upon Earth. "Attack!"
However, the clones remain completely stationary.
"Why do they not obey?" Megatron questioned.
Shockwave examined Arcee's processor. "Hmm, apparently the upload was missing a security upgrade patch, but I think I can rig up a bypass."
A few moments later, Shockwave had attached a number of wires to Lugnut's processor in Omega Supreme.
"It's not elegant, but this link should allow Lugnut to control the clones until I can find the missing data patch," said Shockwave. "Do you wish to observe on the monitors, my liege?"
Megatron was currently on the bridge of one of the clones with Thundercracker and Skywarp.
"No!" he said. "I want to witness the destruction of my earthbound enemies up close and personal."
The Lugnut Supremes then transformed into vehicle mode and flew straight towards Earth.
At the Autobot Base, Bulkhead noticed that the three signals he had witnessed earlier were now moving.
"Whoa, maybe those ain't sunspots their heading this way," said Bulkhead.
The Autobots and Sari head out to get a visual while Optimus reluctantly grabbed the Magnus Hammer.
"This is it," he told himself.
Optimus then joined the others where Ratchet, who had his x-ray eye, was looking up to try to find what was coming their way.
"You think there's still a chance that you can reason with Omega Supreme?" Optimus asked him.
Both Ratchet saw three ships coming their way, and then they transformed into robot mode
"Not anymore," said Ratchet. " We are defiantly going to need that hammer."
The Lugnut Supremes entered the Earth's atmosphere and hovered above the city, ready to destroy it.
