The Autobots observed the Lugnut Supremes that were hovering above Detroit.
"What in the name of the AllSpark are those?" Bumblebee asked.
"Megatron must have used Starscream's cloning technology to make more Omega Supremes," Ratchet theorised.
"So why aren't they attacking?" Bulkhead asked.
Megatron was on the bridge of one of the Lugnut Supremes with Thundercracker and Skywarp.
"Lugnut, let's begin this field test with Sumdac Tower," said Megatron. "I want to see my former prison crumble to the ground."
"As you command grand and glorious Megatron," said Lugnut. "Your genie only succeeds all others, and I am but your humble and obedient servant. Furthermore—"
"Shockwave!" Megatron yelled impatiently. "Is there any way to bypass this endless pontificating and come and these clones directly?"
"Still working on the data packed, my liege," said Shockwave. "Until then, you'll just have to relay all orders through Lugnut."
The Lugnut Supremes started to fire at Sumdac Tower. Fortunately, the force field goes up and protects the building.
"The tower by dads in there!" Sari panicked.
"The force field will protect him," Optimus assured her. "But we have to draw those clones away from the rest of the city."
Moonracer then released her camera and began to record everything.
"Seriously? You are calling now?" Bumblebee stared.
"Hey, I'm a reporter, and I think it's important for the bots on Cybertron to know what these humans are going through," said Moonracer plainly. "Though it would be nice if we have a natural plan on how to deal with it."
"Our only hope he is an aerial assault with the Magnus Hammer," said Ratchet.
"Are you forgetting the last time I tried to fly?" said Optimus turning to face him. "If I couldn't take on Starscream's fembot clones, what makes you think I can take on three Omega Supremes?"
Prowl then activated his jets. "Because I will be right by your side; I know master Yoketron would say it's the ninja-bot, not the weapon."
"As will I," said Elita activating her jets.
"I'm going too! I have a jetpack," said Sari.
Optimus looked at her. "No, Sari, it's—"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's too dangerous, I know. It's always too dangerous!" Sari complained
"I was going to say it's more important for you to protect your father and your fellow organics," said Optimus.
"Oh, right, sorry," said Sari looking slightly embarrassed.
"The rest of you go with Sari. Transform and Roll out!" Optimus ordered.
Ratchet and the others then transformed into vehicle mode and drove off while Optimus, Elita and Prowl flew towards the Lugnut Supremes.
Megatron saw them flying towards him and mistook Optimus for Ultra Magnus.
"Ultra Magnus? Here?!" he said, stunned, but when he zoomed in, he saw that it was Optimus. "No, merely a cheap imitation."
"Since when could he fly? He was dangerous enough on the ground?" Skywarp whimpered.
"That insignificant Autobot believes he can beat me in my own domain!" Thundercracker roared. "Megatron, please allow me the honour to dispatch him."
"No, why waste the effort when we completely overpowered them," said Megatron and turned to Lugnut on the monitor. "Lugnut, order your clones to dispose of these flying Autobot pests."
"Yes, my liege," said Lugnut.
The Lugnut Supremes then turned their target towards Optimus and the others, firing everything they had. Both Prowl and Elita dodged the lasers, and cuts would miss all of their blades. While Optimus tried to use the Magnus Hammer lighting attack but missed.
"Huh, I know you don't think I'm programmed to be a hero, but work with me, will you?" Optimus told the hammer.
Meanwhile the ground, the people of Detroit were running around screaming as the Lugnut Supremes launched their attacks. Lasers struck a tower, and it nearly landed on a woman, but thankfully Ratchet caught it with his magnets.
"Jazz! Moonracer! Get these humans to Sumdac Tower right now. It's the safest place in the city," Ratchet ordered.
"You heard the bot lets more it and grove it," said Jazz looking down at the humans.
"This way!" Moonracer yelled.
Up in the air, Optimus and the others were dotting the missiles and lasers firing at them.
"Prime, I'm still picking up Omega Supremes signal from the Moon," said Ratchet over the comlink. "If we transwarped there, we might be able to sever the connection to these clones."
"Do it and take Bumblebee and Bulkhead with you," Optimus ordered.
"This isn't working," said Elita. "So far, all we're doing is evading their attacks."
"She's right. Taking them on individually is not working. We need to find a way to bring them down all at once," Prowl agreed.
"I can try something, but the two of you need to fall back. You don't want to be nearby when I do this," advised Optimus as he raised the Magnus Hammer.
Both Prowl and Elita followed his order and put some distance between them. Once he was certain they were at a safe distance, Optimus began to spin around and made a tornado which caught the clones and likely began to strike them.
"Lugnut! We're being blown off course!" Megatron yelled. "Maintain control!"
"I am trying master, but the guiding systems won't respond!" Lugnut yelled.
The Lugnut Supremes then crashed down onto Dinobot Island, and Optimus finally managed to stop himself from spinning.
"I said that I was quite effective," Elita smiled
The clones were badly damaged, and the one Megatron was in was no longer operational.
"Lugnut, this field test has been a complete failure," said Megatron. "All of the other clones back to the moon immediately!"
"Forgive me, great one, but their flight capabilities are disabled," said Lugnut.
"Then destroy the Autobots! Destroy the city! Destroy anything that's not me!"
Immediately two of the clones rose to their feet and began walking towards the city across the lake.
"Ratchet! One of the clones has been neutralised. The others seem to have lost their flight capabilities, but they're still heading right to the city," Optimus reported.
Ratchet and the others were now at Sumdac Tower, preparing to transwarp to the moon.
"Loud and clear, Prime, we're firing the Space Bridge now," said Ratchet.
Sari went to her father and hugged him. "Dad, I just want to say that you're the best father anyone can ask for."
"Ah, that's very sweet, Sari, but why are you telling me—" Her father's eyes widened in shock. "Huh, you think you're going with them to the Moon."
"Dad, please, I can't explain it, but something tells me I need to go," said Sari activating her jetpack. "I love you, Dad."
"But how will you breath?" Professor Sumdac asked.
Sari then transformed to her robot mode and flew into the Space Bridge, followed closely by the others.
On the Moon, thanks to his AllSpark fragment, he was still online despite the damage he had received from Megatron. He was clawing his way across the surface of the moon towards his destroyed legs.
"This is so humiliating, but it is nothing compared to the utter devastation I have installed for you, Megatron," he grumbled as he literally pulled himself together. "Prepare to face your annihilation!"
He then transformed into vehicle mode and headed straight towards Earth.
No sooner had he left than the Autobots and Sari transwarp on the Moon. Sari was momentarily stunned just by being on the Moon.
"Wow, I can't believe I'm really on the Moon," she said, stunned.
They looked around, but all they saw were the remains of the Nemesis and Omega Supreme.
"And I can't believe the Decepticons aren't," Bumblebee added.
Bulkhead then saw something near Omega Supreme. "Wait, what's that?"
Ratchet looked at what Bulkhead was pointing at and saw Arcee standing there. "It's Arcee!" He then ran towards her, followed closely by the others, then quickly put his servos on her shoulders. "Arcee, you're online."
"Yes, young bots, we are all online, and I'm here to teach you what it means to be a Cybertronian," said Arcee, much to Ratchet's dismay.
A split second later, they were fired upon, and when they looked around, they saw Shockwave standing there.
"I knew it was only a matter of time before you came back for your little," he said and then transformed to vehicle mode and fired his cannon.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Megatron, Thundercracker and Skywarp just emerged outside of the destroyed clone.
"It's time that we put an end to these miserable Autobots once and for all," said Megatron. "Decepticons! Transform and rise up!"
They then transformed into their vehicle modes and flow off towards Detroit.
Back on the Moon, Bumblebee activated his stingers and fired at Shockwave.
Bumblebee then looked back at Ratchet and Sari. "Get Arcee to Omega Supreme. Me and Bulkhead will hold off Shockwave."
Ratchet and Sari then took Arcee into Omega Supreme.
Back on Earth, the Lugnut Supremes were in the city, destroying everything they saw. Optimus, Prowl and Elita flew towards them, and Optimus launched a bolt of lightning from the Magnus Hammer. The lightning struck one of the clones but only stunned it for a few seconds before continuing on its rampage.
"Prime behind you!" Prowl warned.
Optimus just got out of the way as a blast went past him. He looked to see Megatron find towards him along with Thundercracker and Skywarp. Then the three of them transformed into robot mode and turned and faced them.
"Get away from my weapons of mass destruction!" Megatron ordered.
Back on the Moon, Bumblebee and Bulkhead were still fighting Shockwave. Bulkhead just won his wrecking ball at him, but Shockwave struck it with his cannon, and the wrecking ball struck him on the head, knocking him over.
Bumblebee continued to fire his stingers until Shockwave transformed to robot mode and blasted him with his cannon on the chest. He then moved in to finish off Bumblebee, but Bulkhead charged in, swinging his fist.
Shockwave turned to blast him, but Bulkhead had caught him by surprise and got slammed with a powerful blow. The blow was so powerful that it cracked his armour and caused him to drop his cannon.
Then both Bumblebee and Bulkhead approach the defenceless Shockwave, who then morphed into Longarm.
"Guys… buddies…" he said, looking at the two of them nervously. "You wouldn't want to take out your old platoon mate Longarm, would you?"
The two of them looked at one another before looking back at Shockwave.
"No," said Bumblebee innocently.
"Not in a million stellar cycles, pal," Bulkhead agreed.
Shockwave then slowly reached with his cannon, but Bulkhead slammed his wrecking ball right down on top of it, smashing it to bits.
Meanwhile, inside Omega Supreme, Ratchet and Sari had taken Arcee to the medbay. Once there, Ratchet opened her processor, but Arcee kept on talking like she was teaching a class.
"Let's review class. There are one hundred…" said Arcee.
"Okay, she's really starting to freaking me out here," said Sari as Arcee talked.
"…in a mega-cycle," Arcee finished.
"Those Decepsucks fired her processor trying to remove the activation code," said Ratchet frustratingly. "If I try to rewire her circuitry, it could take her offline for good."
Sari then put her hand on Arcee's knee then, and it glowed blue. "You need to recalibrate your EMP generator into a recovery tool. Then you can salvage Arcee's secondary memory storage from her hard drive bypassing a corrupted binary output system."
"I suppose us machines just told you that," Ratchet assumed.
Sari shrugged. "Pretty much."
Ratchet remained silent for humans before activating his EMP generator. "All right, give me the settings."
Back down on Earth, Megatron fired his fusion cannon at Optimus, hitting him square in the chest. Prowl threw his shurikens at him, but Megatron cut them to pieces with his swords and then quickly blocked Elita's attempt to strike him with her blades and pushed her back.
Thundercracker and Skywarp then flew in, firing their null rays at Elita and Prowl. However, they, along with Megatron then struck by a bolt of lightning from Optimus as he flew up towards them.
"We need to buy Ratchet more time," said Optimus. "Prowl, get Jazz and try to slow the clones down. Elita join up with Moonracer and deal with the Starscream clones. I'll deal with Megatron." Optimus ordered.
They nodded and flew off.
"Hey, you Starscream rejects, let's dance!" Elita yelled at the Starscream clones as she flew past them.
"Rejects! I am perfection!" Thundercracker roared and turned to Skywarp. "Follow my glorious lead, and we'll annihilator her."
"But she's techno-organic; she's scary," Skywarp whimpered.
"If you don't, I'll take you offline myself," Thundercracker threatened.
Reluctantly Skywarp followed Thundercracker as Elita let them down into the city.
Optimus, meanwhile, flew straight at Megatron, who was firing his fusion cannon at him. Optimus knocked the blasts away with the Magnus Hammer, then smashed the hammer on Megatron, who blocked it with his swords in a cross position.
"You're a persistent little Autobot," Megatron noted.
"My name is OPTIMUS PRIME!" Optimus shouted.
Back on the Moon, Ratchet had just finished recalibrating his EMP generator.
"Hope your right about this kid," said Ratchet looking at Sari as he approached Arcee.
"Me too."
Ratchet then fired his EMP generator into Arcee's processor. At first, it looked like it didn't work, but then Arcee reactivated.
"Ratchet, is that you? Did we get away from Lockdown?" Arcee asked.
Ratchet held her servos in his and looked at her. "You… you remember?"
She looked at him, confused. "I remember we were kidnapped by Lockdown. There was some kind of blast after that, nothing."
"When this is all over, we will have a lot of time to catch up on the stellar cycles you missed," Ratchet promised, helping her to her feet. "But right now, we need to recover your recantation codes and regain control over Omega Supreme."
It was then that Bumblebee and Bulkhead entered the room.
"Sari, I think there is something you need to see," said Bulkhead.
Down on Earth, the Lugnut Supremes were still attacking the city. Prowl then activated his laser swords and attacked one of the Lugnut Supremes.
"You started this shindig without," said Jazz as he drove towards the Lugnut Supremes in his vehicle mode
he then transformed into robot mode and swung his nunchaku around. He jumped and landed on one of the Lugnut Supremes knees and started to slash at it with no effect.
"Prime, it's a bad scene down here. These jack-up robos are still firing on all cylinders," said Jazz on his comlink.
Optimus had just blasted Megatron with a bolt of lightning.
"The only thing strong enough to protect the city from those clones is the power of the AllSpark, but it's scattered everywhere," said Optimus.
"Huh, then perhaps Jazz and I could use are processor-over-matter to bring the AllSpark back together," Prowl suggested.
"You really think you can do that?" Optimus asked as he dodged a blast from Megatron's fusion cannon.
"Do we have a chose?" Prowl said as he flew towards Jazz.
Then he grabbed Jazz, and they flew towards Sumdac Tower.
Elita had successfully led the Starscream clones into the city and began flying around several crushed buildings that the Lugnut Supremes had decimated.
"Moonracer, get ready to join the party," said Elita over her comlink.
"Thanks for inviting me," said Moonracer.
"Ha, I knew she did not have the spark to face us in combat," Thundercracker laughed. "CSU flies away from my greatness."
"I don't know. These tall buildings scare me," Skywarp shivered.
Thundercracker scoffed. "Bah, how can several destroyed buildings scare anyone."
"Like this!" a voice yelled.
They looked up and saw Moonracer had just jumped off a destroyed building and grabbed Skywarp, pulling him down to the ground.
"No! No! Let go of me!" Skywarp cried.
"Foolish, Autobot, do you really think you could get the drop on me!" Thundercracker roared as he aimed his null ray at Moonracer.
"Actually, I think we can!" said Elita's voice and Thundercracker then suddenly felt a massive jolt in pain as Elita just stabbed him with her blades, injecting him with cyber venom.
Moonracer had just crashed to the ground with Skywarp and then quickly activated her energy skates. She then began skating around him, dealing some powerful kicks, not giving him time to recover.
"No! Stop! Don't hurt me!" Skywarp cried after each hit.
Moonracer then stopped and somersaulted backwards. "Don't worry, I won't."
Then suddenly, Thundercracker fell down on top of him, knocking him out cold.
"But I can't say the same for her," Moonracer smiled as she looked up at Elita, who was floating above her.
Back on the Moon, both Ratchet and Arcee were making their way to Omega Supreme's head.
"We need to upload your recantation code into Omega Supreme processors." Ratchet said as they climbed a ladder.
Then Ratchet opened a hatch that opened on top of Omega Supreme's head and helped Arcee up.
Meanwhile, Bumblebee and Bulkhead led Sari into the Nemesis, where she saw protoforms inside one of the corridors.
"These are protoforms. This is where I came from," she said and scanned one of them. "I know there was a reason I needed to be here."
Meanwhile, Ratchet was using his magnets to lower Arcee in front of Omega's face and then she uploaded the recognition codes into Omega Supreme, reactivating him. Ratchet then pulled Arcee back onto Omega's head.
Omega then looked at Earth. "Autobots in danger."
"Ugh, stop!" Lugnut roared as he tried to maintain control over him. "Obey me! You're a servant of the mighty Megatron."
Then Omega ejected him outside.
"No! I'm… OMEGA SUPREME." Omega boomed.
The moment Lugnut was rejected by Omega, his clones immediately came to a sudden stop
"Lugnut attack!" Megatron ordered. "Your glorious commands you."
They then reactivate, but their vices open up, showing Starscream's face. Megatron looked at them, stunned as they opened their chest plates to reveal round orbs.
"Greetings, Megatron; as you can see, I decided to give your ultimate weapons a little upgrade," said Starscream. "Equipping them with a self-destruct mechanism that will destroy you once and for all. Along with any unfortunate human or Autobot within a hundred-mile radius. HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Starscream then laughed as the clones continued their attack.
Megatron then flew straight at the clones. "STARSCREAM, that automated self-destruct clone trick didn't work the last time you tried it!"
Megatron flew down to one of the clones and swung his sword down on one of the bombs, but then he was hit by a jolt of electricity flowing him back. He could only watch as the clones continued on the rampage as the bombs began taking down.
His optics fell upon Optimus, who was floating just in front of the clones and headed straight towards him. "If I cannot save my clones, at least I'll have the satisfaction of destroying you, Optimus Prime!"
"So you can remember my name!" said Optimus and charged towards Megatron.
Meanwhile, at Sumdac Tower, the force field had just failed.
"No, no, this is no time for the force field to fail," Professor Sumdac panicked.
Then Prowl and Jazz showed up.
"Does this building have a bomb shelter?" Prowl asked.
"Yes, why?" Professor Sumdac asked. Then he saw the clones walking their way. "Oh, never mind."
He then quickly left as he made his way to the bomb shelter, leaving Prowl and Jazz alone.
"Ready to jam cyber-ninja style?" Jazz asked.
Prowl nodded, and they sat down cross-legged and used processor-over-matter to collect AllSpark fragments all around the city and the surrounding areas.
At that point, Starscream arrived in his jet form and transformed into robot mode.
"Oh, this it! After millions of stellar cycles of trying, I finally get to extinguish Megatron's—" He stopped when he saw Prowl and Jazz bring the AllSpark together. "…Spark? The AllSpark here? Intact!"
Suddenly the fragment in his forehead began pulling him towards them. Starscream could feel the fragment trying to pull out of his forehead, and it was causing him quite a pain.
"What in the name of Decepticons! Release me at once, you ninja-bot minis! " Starscream demanded and fired his null rays at them. However, due to the pain in his forehead, he wasn't unable to focus properly, so his blasts missed them. "Ow! Ow! You are giving me a slitting processoracha! Ow! Ow."
The two of them continued using their processor-over-matter and showed no signs of acknowledging Starscream. Then the AllSpark fragment in his head got pulled out, and he fell into the street. His body then started to lose its colour.
Omega Supreme had just arrived, carrying everyone plus the protoforms the Autobots retreat from the Nemesis.
"What saw we send those second-rate knockoffs to the scrapheap?" said Ratchet.
Then Omega transformed to robot mode. "It could be my pleasure."
Omega then flew down and punched one of the clones sending it to fall over. When he got up, Omega punched it repeatedly, then kicked in the chest where the bomb was sending it to the floor. Then Omega punched two times in the chest, destroying it.
Bumblebee cheerfully raised his fist. "One oversize Starscream down one to—"
The other clone had started to fire at Omega, sending him to his knees. It then walked up to it, grabbed his foot, and started to spin him around and around, making Omega go through the building as it did. It then let go of him sending him flying. Omega quickly transformed to his vehicle mode, and his jets stopped crashing into things. This would make everyone sick if they weren't robots, but this didn't stop them from feeling it.
"Is everybot alright?" Omega asked.
"All Autobots, halfbot and almostbots present and a counted for," said Sari, a little dizzy.
The clone then continued its attack and started to glow red.
Meanwhile, at Sumdac Tower, Prowl and Jazz brought most of the AllSpark together, but it wasn't enough.
"We going to need more spark to shield the city from that blast," said Jazz.
"Can't pull in anymore fragments only one way," said Prowl.
Prowl then levitated towards it. Realising what Prowl was about to go, Jazz got up.
"Prowl, no, we will find another way!"
Prowl just looked back at him and smiled as the light from the AllSpark consumed him. A beam of light shot up into the sky and then fell upon the clone trapping it in a force field along with Optimus and Megatron, who were battling right in front of it.
Prowl then fell to the ground, and Jazz caught him only to find that his body was completely lifeless as he had merged his spark with the AllSpark to give the extra strength it needed to create the force field.
Despite being trapped in the force field, both Optimus and Megatron continue to fight. They traded blows for so long that the armour began to crack.
However, Megatron soon got the upper hand and managed to kick Optimus into the force field. He then quickly pinned him against it as the energy from the force field electrified Optimus' body.
"If I must give up my spark, at least I get to take yours with me," said Megatron.
Megatron smiled as he looked to be anguished in Optimus' optics.
The clone then exploded, but then there was a vigour of light in the form of Prowl, who grabbed Optiums. Megatron's optics widened as Optimus vanished into thin air, leaving him trapped in the force field to be consumed by the exploding clone.
Optimus regained consciousness to find himself on the ground, about a mile away from the explosion. Then they looked over his shoulder and saw the other Autobots and Sari rushing over to him.
"Prime! We did it! The shield worked!" Ratchet yelled.
"The Starscream Supremes are history, and everyone's okay!" Bumblebee cheered.
"Not everybody," said a voice.
They looked up and were horrified to see Jazz approaching them, carrying Prowl's lifeless husk in his arms.
"Prowl!" Sari gasped.
"He gave up his spark to save us," said Jazz.
"No," said Optimus as he walked towards them.
Then suddenly, he was not backwards fire blast, and everyone turned to see a heavily damaged Megatron firing his fusion cannon at Optimus.
"You've interfered with me for the last time, Optimus Prime!" Megatron roared furiously.
Ratchet then used his magnets to throw the Magnus Hammer at Optimus.
Optimus caught it and flew straight at Megatron, dodging all of his blasts, and swung the hammer smashing it against Megatron with all his might. Megatron crashed to the ground, and the moment Optimus hit the ground, he ran up to him and held the Magnus Hammer high, ready to hit him with it.
"What are you waiting for, Autobot? Finish me," Megatron begged.
Optimus raises the Magnus Hammer charging it with lightning. However, instead of smashing Megatron, he instead destroyed his fusion cannon. "That would be the easy way out, Megatron. You don't deserve it."
Optimus then placed a pair of stasis cuffs on him.
They returned to Cybertron, where they were met with a cheering crowd as they stepped out of the ship. The only one who wasn't sharing was Sentinel, who looked more annoyed than anything.
Optimus was still heavily damaged from his battle with Megatron, but now wearing around his neck was the AllSpark in a new container that he had forged with the hammer. The Decepticons they had captured during the battle now wearing stasis cuffs, and Megatron was tired up. Elita and Moonracer carried out the protoforms they had rescued from the Nemesis, and Sari flew next to them. The others were carrying Prowl's pod, whose lifeless body was inside.
Once all the had stepped out, Omega transformed to robot mode, and the crowd paused briefly, but then she had even louder. Optimus couldn't help but smile as he and his crew were welcomed as heroes.
