"Thanks for taking him Kiyoko…" Focused, Kazz furrows his brow, staring straight ahead as he strides towards the hospital. His mind races, his heart hammers against his chiselled chest, beads of sweat slide down his tense temple.

"Of course are you alright?" Anxiously, Kiyoko questions as she stands against the kitchen counter, hearing the soft sound of waves washing over the other, the salty sea air wafting in the cool crisp breeze brushing against a certain boy's brown roots as he looks out at the sea, sketchpad in hand, his fingertips fidgeting around the pencil, twirling it about, his hues drained, down casted. His ears perk up at the conversation behind him. His hues bloodshot, bags hanging heavily upon his frail features seeing his aunt tap anxiously against the kitchen counter.

"How long had Hikaru been here? He didn't know all he really remembered was being in his room, he was sleeping that is until he heard the sound of his father's sob, it had scared him, alarmed him. He had jolted out of his bed only then to find the police inside and finding his father sobbing his heart out he didn't know why, why was he crying, why was he upset, what was going on? All he remembered was the police apologising and leaving, leaving Hikaru to come down. He tried to phone his other father but got nothing, he had no reply, no nothing. Hikaru had no clue what happened until his father phoned his aunt, next thing he knew he was packing, his father hugging him, saying he loved him saying so much so fast. Hikaru didn't answer he still didn't. He wanted to bring his phone in hopes of phoning his father to calm dad down, but his aunt snatched it from him, the nerve of her…what was he do to here? Building sandcastles could only do so much…

"Yeah…fine." Aloofly, Kazz states glaring to the side, adjusting his lenses, the glare of the shining sun hiding his own bloodshot hues. Hikaru jolts up at his voice from the other side snapping him out of his thoughts. He feels his grip tighten around his sketchpad at the memory, feeling his legs curl up to his chest. But he knew now…he knew why his aunt had taken his phone from him, he had seen it, he saw it…his sister's portrait, her kidnapping by the league of villains. He…he didn't know how to feel it didn't feel real to him, he felt as if, if he had stayed, he'd just wait and she'd come through this door, jokingly declaring it to be April's fools or something. He had thought, hoped even that she would do that right now, confetti would come crashing down and…and…Hikaru sniffles, placing his hand over his mouth. His temple touches the rough texture of his sketchpad, trying to muffle the sob threatening to break out. Why…? Why did this have to happen? What did his sister do? He knew she could be mean at times but this…this wasn't fair, none of this was. Was this what she meant when she told him to speak of their supposed mother? Was this what she meant with that lie he had to tell his friends, he didn't want to, he didn't want to lie to anybody but…is this why she said to keep quiet…?

"Kazz being on your own isn't for the best right now." Worriedly, Kioko points out to her brother, brow furrowed. Hikaru turns to her aunt, his features softening slightly. She had been quite strong throughout all this. She hadn't left his side since, not sparing a single second on a date or anything, she had remained by his side, offering to cook whatever he wanted, the two would even cook together, she tried to distract him, she tried, and he appreciated it but this…? He couldn't help but feel hurt by them all hiding this from him. This was his sister, Sayako…he…he wanted his siter back, he wanted her back, he wanted her safe and sound not this, not anything like this…

"Look it's best to just keep my mind busy alright and its best if Hikaru stays away from it all for the time. Tentatively, he tells her how it is, he wasn't going to be at home he couldn't be not with the mob out there, not with the stones thrown his way, the police protection doing nothing for them. He couldn't let Hikaru go back to that place not until it was safe secure for him at the least.

"Alright if you need anything just call me." Sternly, Kiyoko tells him as Hikaru notes the faint crack in her voice as she closes her eyes looking up at the ceiling, trying to fight back against her mascara smearing, Hikaru assumed. He knew how long she worked at it, it was like how long he took on his sketches he couldn't help but respect her commitment.

"I know…oh for…Ki I'll call you back." Kazz groans glaring at the mob outside, swiftly hanging up as Kiyoko sighs lowering her pone turning to smile strained at Hikaru.

"Was that daddy?" Hopeful, Hikaru questions rushing over to Kiyoko's side, shyly grabbing her by her skirt.

"Yes." Softly, she smiles down at him, kneeling down, placing her hand on his hair combing her fingertips through his hair feeling his fidgeting fingertips quiver, quake as he clings to her side.

"Is he okay? Is Sayako home yet?" Hikaru asks making Kiyoko grimace, slamming her eyes shut at the question she feels her throat tremble, quiver, quake at the question. No she had to be strong, she had to be like her brother, she had to.

"Not…not yet. But she will be back soon." Kiyoko promises Hikaru placing her lips to his temple as he bows his head, sniffling, whimpering, a sob breaking through. Kiyoko wraps her arm around the baby boy wailing, whimpering, crying his heart out. She cradles him, letting him let it all out, letting him cry as she stays by his side through this tense time for them all, ignoring her own heart aching, breaking, cracking at the sharp sobs of Hikaru…

"Sadistic Surgeon tell us did you know about the villain vanguard!?" Loudly, the voice echoes as the flashes of bright light flickers in Kazz's eyes, his eyes slammed shut trying to bat them away just wanting to get his job done, just wanting to focus on the students. The quicker he healed them the quicker he could get a lead on Sayako then the quicker they could find her, bring her home for him to hug and never allow her to take a single step out of the house door again.

"No I did not." Sternly, Kazz answers glaring at the report feeling all eyes on him as a wall of people stand before him, stopping him from entering making his blood boil, bubble, burn noting a fair few eyes from within simply watching, observing his eyes action, as if to see if his true colours would slip in or at the least what they thought were his true colours…

"Did you know that your adopted son would be involved in all this? That he would kidnap your own daughter?" One of the woman shoves her microphone in front of the uncomfortable Kazz's face. He feels his heart clench, feeling his chest ache tighten almost as he places his hand on his chest, his fingertips digging deep into the material of fabric. He had to be careful, he had to be delicate, he had to…one false move and that would be it, it would be all over for his family, for his loved ones, for them all.

"No why would I think I would? Please just leave me alone I just want to do my job. There are people inside who need my help." Huffing, he brushes them off ignoring the beads of sweat slithering down his tense temple. He makes his way through the mob, shoving some aside ignoring the sharp flash of light as he makes his way inside, heaving, huffing, placing his hand flat on his chest, trying to collect himself, trying to ignore the gnawing sensation in his chest gnawing at him, feeling the knot only tighten, coil within himself. Heaving, he places his hand on his chest, leaning back against the ice cool smooth surface of glass, trying to collect himself.

"Kazz…" Kazz perks up at the voice turning to the worried Akihiko greeting him, looking apprehensive as he gives the worried doctor, a strained smile assuring him.

"How's Midoriya looking Akihiko?" Sternly, Kazz sighs collecting, composing himself as he questions Akihiko briskly brushing past the doctor, trying to head towards his main priority, his most critical patient. He shoves his hands into his pockets, hearing the faint sound of shuffling within, feeling his fingertips coil around the ice cool bottle nestled within, hearing the faint rattle of the supplements within.

"He had several seizures last night." Akihiko reveals watching worriedly as he stands before a coffee machine, reeling his foot back bashing it into the machine but grumbles, glaring at the machine when it doesn't budge causing him to release a few cursed words before crouching down.

"Again? Urgh…I'm staying over tonight." Tiredly, Kazz decides for himself as Akihiko sighs staring at the mess shoving his hand into the machine, clawing for the coffee.

"But sir…" Scowling, Akihiko anxiously starts only to stare stunned to see his focus elsewhere as he retrieves the drink from the device.

"Look Aki please going home is going home to the vultures." Frankly, Kazz stands, swiftly opening the can.

"But you should rest I mean after everything…" Akihiko beings but watches worriedly as he sips said drink.

"Resting will be the final nail in my coffin if I do so." Sternly, Kazz tells him, his bags hanging heavily underneath him.

"I think those pills you take will be the final nail in the coffin." Curtly, Akihiko huffs his eyes widening when hearing his curt chuckle.

"Oh ho look at you Aki combing up with comebacks." Cheekily, Kazz winks at him.

"Sir please." Pleadingly, Akihiko begs but…

"Look Aki I know the media buzzing around isn't helping anyone let alone the patients but even if I did with the other students here. They would still linger." Kazz cuts Akihiko off who bows his head going silent from his point.

"That isn't what I'm worried about yes while that is a factor to consider sir I haven't seen you have a wink of shut eye since…" Akihiko begins but falters, his eyes dilating when seeing one of the many tv screens showing the report.

"I'm fine Aki I pr-" Smiling, Kazz begins only to hear a sharp scream alarming them both.

"Izuku!" Wailing, the voice screams as the two rush over to see the thrashing boy.

"Shit! Get the defibrillator now!" Sternly, Kazz barks at Akihiko rushing into the room, gently pushing Inko back.

"R-Right!" Akihiko nods as he passes the tray to Kazz as the two focus on their patient, on the job at hand.

Tiredly, Kazz leaves the room, furrowing his brow at the sight of Inko staying by his son's side, a part of him not having the heart to tell her she had to leave him soon. Sighing, he places his hand over his face trying to rub patterns into his fatigued facial features. He reaches into his pocket, taking out a handful of pills shoving them in his mouth, taking a sip of his coffee by his breast pocket, gulping down the substance ignoring the sharp sting to his chest. He continues on with his daily rounds until finally, finishing in his office where as soon as he hears the click of the lock, he leans back against the door. He ignores the beads of sweat sliding down his tense temple, his ears ringing unaware of his heavy heaving. He clutches his chest pained by the sharp searing sensation, he tries to call out to someone, anyone but it falls to deaf ears as he feels his knees buckle before descending down into the dark depths of his subconscious.

"Daaaad how long is this going to take?" Whining, the young blonde before the taller blonde bellows, craning her neck back brushing against his denim shirt as he smiles softly down at the little girl nestled in his lap, pouting.

"All good things come for those who wait Sayako." Softly, Tsunagu tells her as he combs his brush through her long locks, noting her fidgeting legs making him furrow his brow at the sight, seeing her tap her foot up and down on the ground of the sleek carpet of the apartment.

"But it feels like it's taking foooorever." Frowning, the girl grumbles, glaring to the side earning a small shy chuckle of amusement from the blonde before him.

"That's most likely because you keep staring at the clock." Chuckling, he points out as he begins braiding her hair, feeling her lean further back as his olive hues take note of her impatient tapping.

"Uuuurgh…hey dad?" Bored, Sayako groans before jerking her head up for his olives to meet a similar shade to his own.

"Hm?" Humming, he tries to focus on braiding.

"When I get my quirk am I going to have eye lasers?" Curious, she questions him making him blink taken aback by the query.

"Eye…lasers?" Perplexed, Tsunagu quirks his head to the side.

"It's what Toby got from his dad, he set an ant on fire…" Frowning, Sayako tells Tsunagu who shifts their positions slightly as he further furrows his brow at the news, feeling his grip tighten on his little girl.

"I need to have a word with your father about that boy." Tiredly, Tsunagu huffs, brow furrowed at the memory of said boy, he always did bring Sayako into trouble.

"Why? He says he could get us a day off if he angers the ant queen who will then rise up and take over the world." Animatedly, Sayako gushes her hues shining, shimmering bringing a small snicker to Tsunagu's lips at his child's active imagination.

"…Right." Tenderly, he smiles softly down at her.

"Urgh…" Sayako grunts grimacing as she curls closer into Tsunagu's arms.

"Sayako? What's wrong?" Concerned, Tsunagu questions when seeing said girl nuzzles nestle into his shirt.

"My stomach hurts…I think daddy's trying to poison me." Meekly, Sayako squirms in her lap, wincing.

"Sweetie he's a hero he saves lives not take them." Tenderly, Tsunagu reminds his girl grimacing from her struggle.

"Then why does he do that thing?" Confused, Sayako looks up at him.

"What thing?" Tsunagu furrows his brow.

"You know that thing all bad guys do when they try to poison someone?" Sayako recalls making Tsunagu hum conflicted, brow furrowed further from her words.

"Excuse you?" Unsure, Tsunagu cranes his neck briefly befuddled.

"He sprinkles some stuff on my food." Shyly, Sayako whispers to her father, her hands cupping her mouth making Tsunagu smirk slightly amused almost by her conspiracy.

"And why would he do that?" Intrigued, Tsunagu decides to entertain the thought.

"To make me eat the bell peppers. I know his plan and refuse to fall for it." Sternly, Sayako crosses her arms over her chest.

"Is that why you're refusing to eat?" Tentatively, Tsunagu's grip tightens on her, he had taken notice of her lack of appetite recently not even a small snack would reach her lips concerning both of them.

"I did it once and fell ill! He's trying to poison me." Mad, Sayako huffs grumbling, glowering at the floor.

"I doubt it. Well it's either that or the pill and last I checked you don't like pills." Politely, Tsunagu reminds Sayako who grimaces glaring down at the memory.

"That's not true I mean my vitamins don't make me feel like that. Why doesn't Hikaru have to take them?" Shyly, Sayako fidgets in his father's lap, staring down at his fidgeting twitching fingertips.

"Sweetheart we've been over why." Gently, Tsunagu rubs patterns into his back.

"I hate this, I hate it, I hate it all. It makes me feel funny and I don't like it." Whimpering, Sayako sniffles, her hues glassy, tears threatening to fall as she cradles her stomach.

"Your father said it wouldn't be easy have you eaten anything? I'll even let you have a biscuit." Tsunagu offers desperate.

"I'm not hungry." Huffing, Sayako brushes his hand away from her only making his brow further furrows from it.

"Sayako…" Concerned, Tsunagu furrows his brow at her.

"I'm not hungry! I just want to feel normal again." Angrily, she thrashes, wailing, moving her arms about squirming.

"And you will it just takes times…tell you what how about I make you something?" Softly, Tsunagu offers wiping away the stray strand of blonde behind her ear as she whimpers.

"…Is it soup?" Shyly, she whispers, a shy shudder coursing down her spine.

"It's not soup." Sighing, Tsunagu assures her.

"Urgh I don't know." Conflicted, she grimaces.

"Come on it'll be fine see." Smirking, he reaches down towards the mirror passing it over to her only then for her eyes to widen when…

"My braid…" Softly, Sayako whispers wide eyed gawking gaping at her braid.

"Like I said all good things take time." Lovingly, he smiles down at his little girl, combing her blonde root back, to place his lips upon her temple.

"Fine…I guess I'll have a nibble." Huffing, she gives in, bowing her head in the crook of his neck, nuzzling into his side bringing a small smile to his lips as the two head towards the kitchen.

Quietly, Tsunagu stands in his office, standing stoically, his olive hues shimmering, shining, a glassy tint to his normally calm composed hues. He closes his eyes trying to compose himself feeling his throat tighten. He places his shaky quivering, quaking hand flat on his desk feeling his fighting fingertips sprawl across the smooth surface of the table, trying to steady him, trying to fight back against the sob threatening to break out, still unable to…

"It's perfectly obvious to me that U.A's current management if I had a child that wanted to be a hero there's no way…"

Swiftly, Tsunagu slams his forefinger upon the remote leaning over the desk, the broadcasters voice echoing in his head huanting him, taunting him. He makes his way over to his desk. He takes out a familiar frame from his drawer leaning his back against his desk, his fingertips flex around the glass frame of a familiar blonde girl, beaming brightly in the photo holding a trophy. Tsunagu feels his chest clench at the sight as without him even realizing it, the gentle pitter patter of tears freely falling splatter across the frame. Tsunagu collapses to his knees…his voice breaking, cracking as he clutches the frame close to his chest crying out…

"Sayako…."

That's when the phone rings and next thing Tsunagu knew, he was running.
