Shakily, the boy stands in the dark damp depths of the house, hearing the shouting, screaming, screeching echoing, resonating bouncing off the thin decrypted walls standing, looming over the two children clinging to one another as they hear the woman's cry echo throughout the room, screaming, screeching, shouting until hearing the heavy hammer of a body come crashing down. A still silence hangs heavily in the air making both boy and girl cling to one another anxiously.
The two share a look when heaving the sob soft echo throughout the house. She sees the numerous rats scurry about the place, one of which approach, attempting to gnaw at the redhead only then to gasp, taken aback as one of the rats lunges over attempting to nibble at her. The rat squeaks, screeching when the boy slams his blade down upon the groaning floorboards where the rusted blade terrifies the rats fearfully fleeing from the sheer sight of the blade.
The boy leans against the wall, his fidgeting fingertips tightening coiling around the bronze broken blade, rust covered, coated the once slick silver blade. The battered, beaten, bruised boy stands protectively in front of the quivering, quaking girl. Ruby red hair descends down her haggard hair, her hair more like a crow's nest, ruby red stains smeared upon her body with baby blue bruises littered all over her feeble frail frame. She clings to her brother's side as they sit huddled in the corner, her huddling into his side. She nibbles upon the mouldy bread before her however before the two could even understanding the struggling scream from above, the thud of the door that comes crashing down echoes throughout the rusted door, alarming both children when hearing the heavy hang of hinges torn from the door.
Silently, the figure slithers slides their way through the hollow hallways of the door, the children hearing the panicked screams from above as numerous men and women rush into the house. The man rushes down the steps screaming, shouting, screeching, falling flat to his knees, begging, beseeching, pleading for the figure in the doorway, draped with a heavy fur coat of sorts. The boy feels the girl tighten around him, his nose twitching around the stench of dampness, faeces and so much more stained substances littered all over the charcoal coal-stained figures. The figure smirks smugly down at their father, his feral fangs peering out shining shimmering as his tail coals around their father's neck, the two whimpering when hearing the crisp crunch of bone echoing throughout the room. The male falls flat to the ground, limp as the two turn towards the figure slowly making his way inside as their hues look up into a pair of glaring gold…giving the two a toothy grin as the next thing, the two knew they were taken away, away to who knows where…
All the boy had remembered was the slick silver plate shoved his way as he served the patrons while his sister sits perched upon the figure, the loud music bouncing, resonating throughout the club as the boy continued his job at hand, one false trip and he'd meet the sharp sting of the needle.
Groaning, Kazz winces when he slowly opens his eyes, his hues focusing upon the eerily familiar sleek style of the apartment, looking around the chic room. He slowly stands, his elbows slowly shuffling, moving up slightly to look around the place, feeling a sense of familiarity of the place. His ears perk up at the crisp click of porcelain erupting making him flinch from the sound. Kazz groans, craning his neck up slightly as he raises his hand up, combing his fingertips through his brown roots, tugging at his stray strands as he tries to focus his vision, trying to sharpen his blurry vision where he turns to the side seeing a familiar blonde by his side, sipping his tea peacefully, reading a book.
"Wow, collar down that's rare." Amused, Kazz arches a brow bemused, a strained smile of nerves plastered upon his facial features as he turns his body, leaning his cheek into the plush pillow of his palm, smirking at the sight of Tsunagu, flinching from his voice who swiftly places his cup down to the side, rushing over to his side.
"Kazz are you alright?" Attentively, Tsunagu questions him, kneeling down looking over the male, clearly concerned.
"Course I am why wouldn't I be?" Aloofly, Kazz brushes him off, waving him off, a tight smile upon his lips.
"You blacked out!" Annoyed, Tsunagu snaps scowling at Kazz.
"I did?" Confused, Kazz furrows his brow befuddled, glancing from side to side lost.
"When I asked they said they hadn't seen you eat anything just drink those blasted energy drinks." Furious, Tsunagu huffs standing up, pacing back and forth furious, fuming, anger laced in his tone making Kazz blink befuddled, taken aback.
"You never were a fan of those." Tiredly, Kazz sighs slumping, slouching his shoulders exhaustion etched into his fatigued facial features. He sighs standing up.
"You had a heart attack." Angrily, Tsunagu snaps taking Kazz aback.
"…Seriously?" Stunned, Kazz blinks baffled, doing a double take trying to process that, his brow further furrowed from the news.
"Yes seriously. I've already lost Sayako I don't want to lose you." Pained, Tsunagu confesses, anguished, sorrow laced in his trembling tone taking Kaz aback, his features faltering from the sob breaking through. He holds Tsunagu in his hands, rubbing patterns into his back.
"Hey, hey come on its alright I'm here now it's alright." Gently, Kazz wraps his arms around Tsunagu, he hugs him as he hears Tsunagu's voice quiver as he begins breaking down while Kazz keeps his arms around him, trying to help Tsunagu through this time. The two sit down on the sofa, Tsunagu's taller form draped over Kazz form as he sits, feeling Kazz rub patterns into Tsunagu's side, no words needing to be shed as the two simply seek solace within one another.
"That better not be coffee." Curtly, Tsunagu furrows his brow as he sits down crossed legged on the carpet floor, furrowing his brow as he opens the broad book before him in his lap, having heard the gentle click of porcelain alongside the boisterous bellow of the kettle.
"Relax its hibiscus." Huffing, Kazz smirks rolling his eyes, a small smile of endearment upon his lips as he shuffles in, two mugs in his hand one of which he passes towards Tsunagu, the two sit down side by side as Kazz peers over his shoulder smiling softly down at the photos glued to the parchment pages of the book before the two, their eyes softening sadly at the pictures presented before them.
"…Thank you." Politely, Tsunagu sips his mug, his bloodshot olives gazing down at the book, his fingertips brushing against each and every memory sewn into the pages, seeing his neat slanted writings of each memory he had sewn into, he had used his own fibres to make perfect to add his own flare.
"You kept that?" Surprised, Kazz arches a brow surprised at the sight of the book, his eyes shining slightly at it, he remembered how much work Tsunagu put into the book for him to keep it…Kazz furrows his brow at the slight warmth in his chest at the sight of the book. He spots a photo of Tsunagu sunbathing sunglasses perched upon his head. He reads where below him is a familiar blonde copying her father's position bringing a small smile to Kazz's lips at the sight recalling Sayako's copying habit.
"Of course I did." Dutifully, Tsunagu glares to the side slightly.
"Heh that was your prized possession I remember you spending hours on it still can't believe you stitched the photos in." Chuckling, Kazz smirks as he looks down at the photo of both parents, Sayako winks at the photo being held by Tsunagu as she holds a pair of sunglasses, similar to the ones of the same shade from prior perched upon his head, now Sayako wears them, copying her father's move from the photo prior. Her photogenic natures courtesy of her father coming in as the two pose for the camera while Hikaru and Kazz smile messily into the photo.
"These memories connect us just as the fibres of denim." Tsunagu recites making Kazz snort slightly, earning a small smirk from Tsunagu's lips at the sight of Kazz.
"I swear you have a book of these denim pun stuff. Hey I remember this one, wasn't this back at Clearwater? Hikaru wanted to collect seashells." Smiling, Kazz chuckles at the memory.
"He wanted to hear the ocean." Tsunagu tells Kazz.
"I remember him collecting shells and screaming when he picked up a slug." Kazz chuckles under his breath.
"I remember Sayako grabbing the slug and tossing it in the water…" Tsunagu adds as the two smile softly at the memory, unaware of them both shuffling closer to one another at the memory, warmly gazing at one another.
"She stole your sunglasses too she had them on the entire trip." Teasingly, Kazz winks at Tsunagu, furrowing his brow at the memory.
"Until she threw them in the sea." Snippily, Tsunagu grumbles, leaning back against the sofa at the memory, pouting almost causing Kazz to snicker.
"Heh you even tried going after it." Kazz chuckles at the memory of the soaked Tsunagu, desperately trying to find the sunglasses but to no avail only coming back soaked, not that Kazz minded on the contrary…
"They were expensive." Grumbling, Tsunagu reminds Kazz.
"Chipboard right?" Kazz hums quirking his head to the side at the memory.
"Chipboard dear." Politely, Tsunagu corrects Kazz sipping his drink.
"Heh, you and your brands, I've always been a fan of best jeans myself." Mischievously, Kazz winks making Tsunagu grumble, a faint ruby red tint to his pale cheeks.
"And why wouldn't you? The quality of my jeans are supreme the fibres are symbols of society's faith in hero if one unravels then so will the others." Grimly, Tsunagu states making Kazz grimace, glaring to the side at the memory.
"I remember the denim dress you made her." Smoothly, Kazz tries to change topic, glancing over at the window, not wishing to think of the outside world, not now… all he wanted was this…was moments like this. Shyly, a small smile crosses Kazz's lips as he leans his head leaning into Tsunagu's side unaware of his heated features flaring up as he tries to keep his hues glued upon the pages presented before him.
"…She loved it, she looked gorgeous." Tentatively, Tsunagu smiles at the memory looking down at the picture of the blonde beaming brightly wearing a denim cap in the searing sun above as she smiled at the photo of her nestled in Tsunagu's lap. Her father took the photo, the two of them sat down on the beach towel upon the sandy shores of the beach, his arms wrapped around the girl's torso. He poses, looking at the book in his other hand while Sayako smiles at the camera. She wears a snow white shirt with thin lines of blue the same shade as the denim dressed on top with snow white leggings and baby blue dolly shoes.
"Wasn't that her first shoot you got her into?" Curious, Kazz points at another photo of the young Sayako holding onto the railing, peering, leaning over the railing, looking out at the sea while holding an ice cream cone, small slithers of cream come down, staining her fingertips.
"She didn't even know it was a shoot she was just there for the bagels." Bemused, Tsunagu chuckles at the memory making Kazz smile shyly at the sight.
"Which stained her shirt." Smirking, Kazz chuckles at the photo of the sobbing Sayako, cream smeared upon the denim dresses her watery olives cry over the loss of the cream smeared upon the floor.
"I remember seeing your face." Snickering, Kazz chuckles only then to falter from the brief hitch in his tone, feeling the tears threaten to fall as he slams his mouth over his mouth trying to muffle the spray sob threatening to leak out.
"You okay?" Concerned, Tsunagu places his hand on Kazz's shoulder seeing his glassy hues.
"I'm…I'm fine." Feebly, Kazz smiles strained only making Tsunagu further furrow his brow.
"Didn't you tell me it's okay to not be fine sometimes." Softly, Tsunagu reminds Kazz sniffling, trying to fight back against the sob threatening to fall.
"Using my own words against me you're cruel." Kazz whimpers, whispering blinking back the tears threatening to fall as next thing he knew, he felt a pair of hands coil around Kazz, nuzzling, nestling into his side as his voice cracks and he breaks, the tears freely falling. Tsunagu holds him, letting him let the doctor cry as watery hues meet olive. The two lean in, holding one another, refusing to leave one another's sides…
