Chapter 578

What Happened To Me

Since she was undamaged, Cameron wanted to go and see John.

Savannah knew that wasn't going to be a smart idea, especially if she wanted what she'd done to remain covered up.

"Cameron, maybe it's not such a good idea that John see you now." Savannah said.

Cameron looked down at her sheath.

"Why not? I feel fine." Cameron said. "I'm currently undamaged."

Cameron briefly wondered if Savannah was about to claim John for herself. Somehow that didn't bother her. It was what she wanted. That would put her closer to Savannah.

Savannah thought maybe she needed to be more specific. Cameron looked a little off base. She wondered what she'd been sidetracked on. Maybe it was a good thing she didn't know.

"The last time he saw you a few hours ago, you didn't look so hot." Savannah said. "You needed some repair."

Cameron didn't have that memory. She wasn't damaged because of temporal management. It did make her think about what went wrong. She still wanted to know.

"What happened to me?" Cameron asked. "I need to know."

Savannah didn't want to get into the specifics. She'd previously asked Cameron not to worry about it. It served no purpose for Cameron to know the extent of her injuries. They actually never happened to her. It was only to her temporal shadow or temporary self. It was an entity created in a temporal loop.

"You were damaged before." Savannah said. "Now, you aren't. Nothing actually happened to you other than you lost a few hours of time."

Cammy didn't like Cameron to keep pressing Savannah about it. Savannah asked that the issue be dropped.

"Cameron, stop pushing it and pushing Savannah." Cammy said.

Cameron wanted to know what happened. It must have been catastrophic. She wondered if she was really terminated. There were drone images and body cam footage of her. She could see she was shot up a little but she'd been shot up a lot worse. There was still missing time when she was on her own.

"Was it that bad?" Cameron asked.

Cammy didn't want to get into another confrontation with Cameron.

"What do you think?" Cammy asked. "Do you think Savannah would have done this for any other reason? Can't you see she's trying to spare you grief? She asked you to drop it. Does she need to make it an order?"

Cameron glanced over at Cammy and frowned. She was sure that creating Cammy was a mistake. She should have used a different program. Cammy reminded her too much of herself. That always seemed to be a source of irritation between them. Then again Cammy would fight alongside her as fierce as herself. Since she was OK now she didn't think it was a big deal. It actually never did happen to her.

"I want to know." Cameron said. "I need to know."

Cammy wasn't sure why Cameron kept on. It was more than irritating at this point.

"Just as Savannah's protecting you physically, she's also protecting you mentally." Cammy said. "Leave it alone. You already have enough to haunt you. Don't make it worse."

Savannah didn't want to hear anymore about this for now. It was time to move on.

"Please, Cameron, stop." Savannah said. "You have what you need and you don't need what you don't have. You've suffered enough."

Cameron knew Savannah and Cammy were trying to help her and didn't want her to be hurt further. Maybe she should drop it for now. She was aware that Savannah made a bold move today. She'd made a move that could have affected the timeline. It appeared that it hadn't. That was a good thing for now. Maybe they could do something else. She didn't want to make Savannah order her to stop asking. There were other Terminators with files. She didn't know that only Cam and Cammy saw the full extent of her damage and they'd both since erased those images at Savannah request. Only Savannah knew what was wrong. It was time to move on for now.

"Where should we go?" Cameron asked.

Savannah and Cammy looked at each other. They were sill covered in their combat grime.

"We can go to my room here for starters." Savannah said. "I need to get cleaned up, so does Cammy. Look at us."

Cameron did look at them. They were covered in soot, dried blood and filth. She also saw Cammy showed repairs, a lot of them. Maybe there was a lot more than she knew about. She would need to investigate further.

She followed Savannah to her room. She wondered why they looked like that. She knew they were in a battle but she was missing many of the details and events. They gave her some files and reports as to what happened. There were still a lot of blank spaces. Most of those were when she was alone and in the lab at the Resistance base.

Cameron watched as Savannah and Cammy stripped and set their filthy clothes aside.

As Cameron took in what should be Savannah's perfect figure she became alarmed. Savannah lost weight. She could see the three big bruises where Savannah was shot in her vest while she'd defended her in the battle before the last one. That sent a glitch impulse through her. There were many smaller bruises with cuts and scrapes on Savannah. All the action started to take a toll on Savannah's body.

Cammy and Savannah entered the shower and cleaned each other.

The water that went down the drain was black.

While the girls were in the shower, Cameron called John. She soon wished that she hadn't. He hung up on her. What a jerk. Now she was pleased she was with Savannah. Cammy was the problem now.

Cameron laid some towels out for them as they exited the shower. She scanned Savannah as she helped dry her back. Something was wrong….

A few minutes ago.

John and John Henry identified two locations that might be where the Skynet troops originated from.

"I want two teams on each target." John said. "This is a recon only. I want some planning for a change before there's any action."

John Henry would like that as well. Trying to make things happen in the moment was very challenging.

"I'll stress that." John Henry said.

John's phone rang. He was a little surprised at who it was. He answered it.

Cameron knew that she needed to play it cool based on what Savannah indicated.

"John, I'll be tied up for a couple of days, something has come up." Cameron said. "I'm sorry."

John didn't say anything at first. He knew they'd 'done' something at Cameron's base. He also knew she received some damage. He didn't want to push it. That would only keep Cameron away longer.

"Whatever." John said.

He'd been looking forward to seeing Cameron even if she was 'damaged'.

Cameron didn't care for his response. He always seemed so negative. She did want to see him though. It would need to wait.

"I'll make it up to you." Cameron said. "I promise."

John hung up the phone without saying anything.

John looked at John Henry.

"Where were we?" John asked.

John Henry went back over his briefing. He was sure that John being rude to Cameron would come back to haunt him.

Cameron didn't like the current 'condition' of Savannah's body. She needed to say something. Savannah shouldn't be losing weight.

"Have you been feeling alright, Savannah?" Cameron asked.

Savannah was tired, both physically and mentally. She needed to hang tough to keep up with Cameron. It was very challenging at times but she did it all. She could hack it.

"Yes." Savannah said. "I'm fine."

Cammy picked up on Cameron's concern and started to scan Savannah too. She'd already done it in the shower. Now she did it again.

Cameron wanted to get more specific and not focus on the battle damage.

"You've lost weight." Cameron said.

Savannah looked down at herself. She was tired and sore. She needed to drive through the pain. She needed to stand tall for Cameron. She tried to make light of the issues.

"I'm just trying to get my schoolgirl figure back." Savannah said. "I like to look Tight."

Cameron thought back on it all. It was her fault that Savannah looked like she did. Savannah had little time to take care of herself or eat more than an energy bar every now and then.

"You haven't been getting enough rest these last few weeks and have missed a lot of meals." Cameron said. "You're pushing yourself too hard."

Savannah never complained about herself to anyone. She wasn't about to start now either.

"You've been busy." Savannah said. "So have I."

Cameron knew Savannah was pushing herself for her. Savannah was wearing herself out to keep her from being damaged or even worse - destroyed. This really was all her fault.

She noted Savannah didn't get dressed. She only wore a towel. It was only around her waist too. She was unsure why. Maybe Cammy and Savannah were going to engage in some sexual activity. She'd secretly watched them before and she imagined herself in Cammy's place. That's what it really was anyway. Cammy was her.

"Are you going to get ready for bed?" Cameron asked.

Savannah wished it was that simple. It wasn't, especially now. Maybe she needed to spell it out for Cameron.

"I don't know." Savannah said. "I'm waiting to see what you were planning and if I needed to gear up again."

Cameron felt another glitch impulse. This really was her fault. Savannah would follow her until she dropped or was killed. That thought sent another glitch impulse through her.

"NO, Savannah." Cameron said with real concern. "You need to rest."

Savannah thought of the other night where she was with both Cammy and Cameron. She was able to derive nonsexual comfort from them. She was also able to keep track of them and not need to worry they were in combat somewhere. It was worth a shot to see what she could get out of them, for their own protection.

"I'll rest if you and Cammy lay down with me." Savannah said. "I know you don't sleep but I would feel more comfortable with both of you next to me. I need the comfort and reassurance. Just to sleep, nothing else. I want to feel the closeness of the ones I love."

Savannah did spend many a lonely night growing up. All her loved ones were dead or gone. Everything she knew was taken away from her. Cameron, Sarah and the girls all did their best to help her out. It was still very lonely at times. It didn't matter now. She'd made it and she was here. Now there were plenty of sexual companions if she wanted one. She usually did. This was different now. This was just about the closeness.

Cameron looked at Cammy. Cammy nodded. They'd done this before, the three of them.

Cameron was fresh from the battlefield herself. Well, almost.

"I'll get cleaned up real fast." Cameron said. "I'll stay."

Cammy was in. There were things they could do as they lay next to Savannah.

"We can do internal maintenance while you sleep, organize our files and make plans." Cammy said.

Savannah was pleased that they would be contained for awhile. She could use some sleep too.

"Thanks, I could really use a small break." Savannah said.

Cameron hurried and showered, she came to the bed. Cammy was already in it with Savannah. They were both naked. Cameron dropped her towel and climbed in next to Savannah naked. She was pleased her sheath looked better than Cammy's did.

Cammy and Cameron felt Savannah take each of their hands. Savannah was asleep in no time. They knew she was holding on to them to make sure they didn't leave. They also both scanned her as she started to dream. They both knew she dreamt of them.

Cameron and Cammy replayed their files of Savannah from their time at the Resistance base, through the years, over and over. Both of them loved Savannah even more as they relived everything. Cameron wished she shared all the files of Cammy 'being with' Savannah. She knew one day soon she would make her own files with Savannah….

Cameron soon pictured it in her mind. She created her own 'dreams'. Maybe they were more like daydreams but they were still hers. They were beautiful.

The sun came up in Palmdale.

Allison opened her eyes and looked around. Holly was next to her. They were both naked. She looked at Holly beautiful face and perfect body. She was sure those were the best looking breasts she'd ever seen on any female. There was an uneasy feeling in her gut.

"Holly, I don't feel very good." Allison said.

Holly became immediately alarmed. She started to scan Allison.

"I'm calling Cameron." Holly said.

Allison didn't want to make a big deal about this. There were others closer.

"No, see if my mom is up." Allison said.

Holly went to check. She returned a few seconds later. She was able to hear what was happening.

"She and Hanna are busy." Holly said.

Allison quickly picture what they were doing. That didn't bother her. It was just the idea that it was her mother.

"Oh, brother, just what I wanted to hear…." Allison said. "Where's Anna?"

Anna communicated with Holly before she'd left.

"She's out training Allison." Holly said. "I'm watching Summer and you."

Allison looked over at the clock. It was as early as she'd thought it was.

"Out training?" Allison asked. "This early?"

Holly didn't see what the problem was. Young Allison was always up early and trained all the time.

"Yes." Holly said.

Allison frowned. She really thought her younger self was pushed way too hard all of the time.

"Allison is just a kid." Allison said. "She needs a break every now and then."

Holly took a visual scan of Young Allison everyday. She knew she wasn't a 'kid' anymore. She looked more like Allison everyday. She also knew what was necessary. Cameron made her plans clear to all of them.

"Cameron wants her to be as well trained as Savannah, if not better." Holly said. "She must be prepared for the future."

That was about the last thing Allison wanted to hear. She still felt a little off. There were others she would rather speak with about her physical condition. This was more of a human female thing, especially one that had children before.

"Call Savannah first, then Sarah." Allison said.

Holly didn't like all the trouble Allison went through with her many pregnancies. Claire could take care of that 'problem' for her. Allison's body was damaged from the future. Young Allison was ready to step up. She was a young woman now, even if barely so. Maybe it was best not to go there.

"I think it is just morning sickness." Holly said. "It will go away."

Holly called Savannah anyway. She wasn't about to take any chances.

Savannah awoke to Holly's ringtone.

Cammy and Cameron both knew it as well. All three of them sat up. Cameron was still naked.

Savannah checked the time.

"Hello." Savannah said.

Holly was a little worried what to say. She didn't want to cause a panic.

"Allison doesn't feel well. She asked to talk to you." Holly said.

Cameron was instantly alert. She listened as well.

Savannah knew they were both listening so she activated the speaker phone. She told Allison that Cameron and Cammy were with her. She didn't want Allison to say anything too personal if she thought it was only them.

Savannah talked to Allison about some of the things she felt during her two pregnancies in the two different futures.

Some of the issues she faced bothered both Cammy and Cameron.

Cameron asked Savannah if she could speak to Allison for awhile. She soon finished and hung up.

Cameron looked at the phone for a few seconds before she handed it back to Savannah.

"Let's go to Palmdale." Cameron said.

Cammy touched her sheath. It wasn't done with the healing process yet.

"I'm not one hundred percent." Cammy said. "You two go."

Savannah reached over and touched Cammy's arm.

"It is fine, Cammy. You know I love you no matter how you are." Savannah said.

Cameron knew that too. She also knew Savannah was worried about HER well being more than her appearance after the damage she'd received.

Cammy knew that Savannah shared with her the same if she was damaged or she was undamaged. Savannah wasn't the issue.

"I do. It's the others I don't like them to see me less than Tight." Cammy said.

Savannah was aware Cammy tried to look more and more like Cameron Prime, even be as Tight as Cameron was. Cammy was 'Cameron' and she tried to act the part as well. She thought Cammy did it to 'hang on' to her.

Savannah didn't want to make Cammy self-conscious and feel bad about herself.

"OK, Cammy." Savannah said. "I want you to go. If you don't want to go I'm not going to make you. I do understand."

Cammy was pleased that Savannah was always so understanding. There were other things she could do.

"I'm going back to the Resistance base." Cammy said.

Savannah wanted to follow up on the others at the base. If she was there she would have done that already.

"Can you check on Gail, Cam and the others if they are at the base, for me?" Savannah asked. "Maybe I should go and check on them myself."

Cameron liked that Savannah always thought of the others who'd been damaged as well. Every Terminator appreciated Savannah's personal touch. It was honest and true. It was real concern.

"That's a good idea. I want Savannah to do that first." Cameron said. "I will take care of a few things here and pick you up in an hour. Make sure she has a healthy meal."

Savannah could use a good meal. It would be nice to sit at a table and eat it too. That didn't seem to happen too often any more.

"Make it an hour and a half then." Savannah said.

Savannah wasn't even sure when the last time she ate a meal was or even when the last time she ate more than a bite of food once or twice a day…. She needed to be there for Cameron. She needed to look after the troops and Terminators.

She knew she was burning the candle at both ends. It didn't matter, Cameron NEEDED her.

What Happened To Me

When one starts out
They want the most out of life
Sooner rather than later
They find lots of strife

They think that love
Should be honest and pure
Instead they find sex
Love was just the lure

People say lots of things
Few of them ring true
That is the way things work
Everything soon ends up askew

Even if they go back
Things are hard to fix
They're bound to find out
The other has even more tricks

What happened to you
Is their hurtful plea
Maybe the real question is
What happened to me

Nobody
