Rude was there, in 7th Heaven, when Cloud Strife finally rejected Tifa Lockheart. Infact, everyone was. Everyone meaning AVALANCE, the Turks and of course, a couple of miscellaneous drunken punters who couldn't care less.
"What?" came Tifa's astonished reply.
"I'm sorry Tif' but I'm in love with someone else."
It wasn;t until Reno's eyes widened in surprise and shock before softening almost unnoticeably that Rude realised who this 'someone else' was. After that, there were definitely no doubts.
