Chapter 26

On the Spearhead of Hope, the strange pod is brought to the hangar as Washu tries to scan the thing with her 2D scanner holograms while analyzing with her holo-computer. The screen flashes some spectrums, graphs, analysis data and trying to figure out the material. Marcus is there as he uses his psyker powers to see if there is anyone alive in there with his body glowing a type of pinkish coloring like that of the warp.

"Hmm..." Marcus hums with interest.

"Discovered something?" Washu stops and asks.

"I am detecting eight human life signs inside the pod. Four males and four females. I can't really read their minds because of this strange material the pod is made of. But judging from what I'm detecting, they're around the teenage ages. Early teenage ages. Possibly around fourteen by the biology I am detecting. There is also something else in there. Artificial minds trapped in some sort of computerized prison. Five of them." Marcus stops using his powers. "That is all I'm detecting inside but there are other things in there. I do have some questions. Like; why are there eight teenagers in a pod with five abominable intelligences."

"Artificial intelligences." Washu corrects Marcus. "You are right, though. My scanners picked up some sort of device that is holding them."

As they continue trying to figure out on how to open the pod, the Spearhead of Hope has arrived where the Genesis Ship is at. In orbit around a gas giant with two habitable moons. The ship has what looks orange sails at the front and back of it with a large ring in the middle where they can see segments of landscape in it. Actually, it has two rings that is spinning to create artificial gravity with what looks like an artificial sun that goes from one end of the ship to the other. There are also four, ball-like parts close to the middle. This is the genesis colony ship from Ark: Survival Evolved.

In the hangar, Adam sharpens his Blush while sitting on a crate. Once he finishes he examines the blade closer before extending it.

"You finish?" Ilia approaches.

Adam glances at Ilia before sheathing Blush into Wilt. "Yeah." He stands up, "What about our team?"

Sarge approach with the rest of the Reds alongside Sienna, Carmine, and Dr. Bartholomew Oobleck. He cock his shotgun, "You know it, son."

Oobleck pushes his glasses, "Can't wait to see what kind of scientific discovery we can find on that ship."

Adam joins the group, "Let's go."

They all board the Protoss Shuttle and headed out with five others. The six shuttles make their way towards the ship while the pilots have a bit of chit chat.

"Any ideas on what we're gonna find?" Simmons asks.

Harriet responds, "Might have a few people with a lot of wildlife judging by the ship design."

Pyrrha speaks, "Hope we can find some answers."

Kazuma sounds happy, "Long as I get to drive a ship, I'm happy. Plus, it provides us an opportunity to drive these things."

"So, we all know where we're going?" Momo says to the others.

Viktoriya says while piloting ahead, "Sienna's team will go to the ring on the right while we mages will go to the ring on the left. Momo and Harriet's team will explore the back end while Kazuma and Pyrrha's team will check the bridge. I think that's right."

"I thought Oobleck goes to the bridge?" Simmons asked.

Sienna says over the radio, "He wants to see the wildlife and what kind of creatures are there before investigating the purpose of the ship."

They are in close range with Pyrrha finished doing some sort of scanning.

"The thrusters aboard the ship are down. Look like an asteroid storm destroyed it or something similar. That ship is dead in the water. Or, in this case, space."

Momo says, "Then let's get to work."

The shuttles spread out and land where they're supposed to be. But for now, we are focusing on Sienna's team for the time being. The shuttle with the Reds, Oobleck and the former members of the White Fang land on the second ring as they land in a clearing with dinosaurs such as dilophosauruses, gallimimuses, and smaller dinosaurs scurry off with triceratopses forming a ring to protect their young. The shuttle landed in an Earth-like environment with a pond close by with pine trees and firs with many mountains. The door opens as Sarge comes running out.

"YEEEEAAAA!" he comes out and ready to shoot anything in sight, "Ready to shoot anything in sight!" Then he runs off, "YEEEAAA! COME OUT AND FIGHT ME!"

Sienna comes with Grif in tow as she asks, "Is he always like this?"

"Whenever he gets bored and want something to shoot at. Other times he tried to kill me because I like to be lazy. Although, I'm surprised he didn't ended up in an insane asylum because of his warmongering."

Sienna glances behind her, "Reminds me of someone."

Adam walks out and pass them, "Let's just go."

As time went on, Oobleck takes a closer look at a family of stegosauruses as he examines them and their behavior. Simmons is being more cautious as he assist with Dr. Oobleck. Everyone else just stand around and keep watch while Grif is sitting on a boulder.

Sarge is chasing some compys while firing his shotgun, "COME BACK HERE AND FIGHT ME! FIGHT MEEEEE!" But the compys just run away from him.

As for the three, things are getting awkward.

Ilia tries to lighten the mood, "It has been a while since all three of us work together." she smiles.

Sienna says, "I think it has been a while. But if Blake was here, things would be even more awkward."

Adam looks away, "Yeah."

Lopez asks, "Can I get a little bit of background?"

Adam says, "What you need to know, um...Lopez, right?"

"Yeah, it's Lopez."

"Okay. What you need to know is that we are, were, members of the White Fang. A group that were fighting against human tyranny."

"Now I get ya'. I tried to make a robot army with Sheila in hopes of destroying the idiotic humans because they're always taking advantage of us, but then O'Malley came into the picture, took me away, had me work on doomsday devices, then got to rejoin the Red Team of Blood Gulch."

"Who's O'Malley?" Sienna asked.

"He is actually called, Omega. He was artificial intelligence program that was just as horrible as humans with no ounce of respect for other robots. I did tried to rebel against humans again with Dos Point O', but he decided to have power all to himself. I learned my lesson that robots can be just as terrible as humans." He looks at the three Faunus, "Think that it may also apply to other organics that despise humans as well. It was a bit of a hard lesson to learn, but hey, life is full of hard lessons." Lopez looks over at Simmons and Oobleck, "Don't get me wrong, organics are idiots, but you have to admire them in a strange way. Too bad I got stuck with terrible people." He looks back at the three with stun expresses, "Present company excluded, of course."

"No offense taken." Sienna says.

Ilia looks around, "Speaking of, where's Carmine?"

"Over here!" he shouts from a good distance.

Everyone turned to the direction of the shout and see Carmine waving at them from one of the boulders close to Grif.

Carmine speaks through the radio function, "Been scouting the area while you guys are guarding the nerds. To be honest, I think we may need more people. This place is huge. Just curious about what other creatures there are and found one of those T-Dom thingies. Gonna keep an eye on it to make sure it isn't coming here."

Sienna says, "Good work. And get Grif off his lazy ass and make sure Sarge doesn't try to attract too much attention."

Carmine looks over and things aren't looking good, "Yeah, about that..."

Where the T-Dom is, Sarge fires a few rounds of his shotgun at the dinosaur's right ankle. It roared in pain and is upset at Sarge to where it tries to eat him. It tries to chomp at him, but Sarge was moving faster as he shotgun blast it in the chest and neck while going 'YE-HA' as he kills it like a gun-totting cowboy.

Adam speaks through the radio, "Did he just do what I think he did?"

"Yep." Carmine isn't surprised. Neither is Adam.

Adam groans, "Hang on, I'll go talk to him."

Adam approach Sarge as Sarge cuts off the head that he can use as a trophy.

"Sarge," he doesn't sound happy, "what the hell?!"

"Hey, Adam!" Sarge greets him while in a cheery mood. "Whatcha' think of this beauty? Might look good over a fireplace I would like to make alongside my war medals."

"We were supposed to- Wait, you have war medals?" Adams get distracted.

"Not really. But I hope to get some in case we ever have to fight a war with something."

Adam shakes his head, "Never mind. Sarge, we were supposed to protect our two scientists as they examine whatever life is here before taking them onto the Spearhead of Hope."

"Poppycock!" Sarge isn't amused, "The best thing we can do for these is to hunt them to extinction. Kill every large beast and show off your massive trophies of the nastiest of beasts you hunted. That's what separates the boys from the men." And he continues to cut the head off.

"As much as I appreciate a good hunt, human, but we have to ensure our own survival."

Then Sarge removes the claws on the creature's toes, "That's exactly what I'm doin'. Making sure beasts like these don't creep up on us. Give us an advantage! Never let these prehistoric monsters get the better of us."

Adam just facepalms and says to himself, "I think Lopez might be right."

Sarge rips out one of the toe claws with his hands, "What was that?"

"Nothing."

Kazuma radios, "Hey, uh, guys. We maaay have a bit of a problem reaching towards the bridge. Can you send help? Please?"

Adam responds, "What's the situation?"

"Well... We're trying to get towards the bridge, but there some fleshy substance in the way and it is repelling us. It's taking too long. Even with Megumi's explosion magic barely has any effect. Plus, the creature-like thing is resilient to almost every attack we're throwing at it."

Tanya responds, "This is Major Tanya von Degurachuff here. We're on our way."

Sarge call in, "Delay that, major." He sounds excited, "Col. Sarge here, and my team will handle it! Plus, I our rank you, little missy."

Tanya is annoyed, "Fine."

"Grif! Simmons! Lopez! Stop whatever the hell you are doin' and get back here. We got a fight in the bridge of the ship!"

Simmons makes up some excuse, "Uuuhhhh... I'm busy, Sarge. Tanya and her squad might assist."

Grif makes up his own excuse, "Yeah, and I, uh, am helping. Let the little girl and her squad of mages take care of it."

Lopez isn't answering.

Adam steps up, "I'll go."

Sarge turns to face Adam, "Now that's the spirit! Come on, we got another war to wage!" He takes on a stance as he prepares to fly, "Up, up, and away!" He takes off into the air and heads on over to assist with the major development.

Adam regrets it now, "Me and my big mouth." Then takes off.

Over where the bridge is supposed to be, Aqua unleashes a torrent of water at something that looks like an eye stalk with a purple eye with a black slit pupil. The stalk retreated into a mass of fleshy organic substances that have taken over the majority of the ship.

Megumi casts, "EXPLOSION!", which she creates a large explosion and charred some of it but quickly regenerates. "What the hell?!" Megumi is shocked. "My explosions can barely do anything!" And yes, thanks to the black box, she doesn't pass out from using her spell anymore.

Darkness is being hung by a tentacle up in the ceiling while blushing, "Get off me, you filth!" She acts like she despise it but she actually enjoys it.

Naotsugu then casts, "Anchor HOOOWWWLLL!" as his body glows green and gives off a bright light. "Come and get some, tentacle face!"

The tentacles completely ignore Naotsugu and go after the others.

"What?!" Naotsugu says, "My Anchor Howl isn't working?!"

Hajime fires a few rounds with Akatsuki using her Assassination skill that kill the tentacles. But a few more regenerated and try to attack them. But Nyanta slice them up with his rapiers to ribbons.

"Looks like this thing is harder than a raid boss." Nyanta comments.

Characters of Log Horizon, KonoSuba and Arifureta (mostly the protagonist groups) try to take the creature out in a safe distance with their range or magical attacks while melee fighters defend them.

But something in the mass howl, "EnOoOoOuuuuUUGh!"

Kazuma steps back close to Tetra as they both say, "That thing can talk?!"

A bunch of angry eyes look at them with piercing hatred, "ThIs Is MY shIP. MiNE! I am ThE OWner OF tHiS SHIP! I COnTRoL EVERYTHING on ThIs VEssEL! It ALL BeLoNGs TO MEEEEE!"

But a railgun round destroyed one of the eyes before looking at the person responsible. It is Sarge as he stands on a ledge with Adam standing beside him. Sarge switches over to his shotgun as he looks down at the menace.

"Son," he says in a serious tone, "you're about to get, Sarge'd."

Adam facepalms and mumbles to himself, "Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me."

Then Sarge jumps down and charges in with his shotgun with Adam following while firing his Blush. Adam uses his Wilt to cut down some of the eye stalks and tentacles as both of them look like action movie badasses as they cut down everything in their path.

Kazuma admires, "Wow! They're like total badasses!" Then a tentacle lets go of Darkness and drops on Kazuma. Knocking him out. And Darkness is disappointed that she didn't get ravaged like in a tentacle hentai.

Sarge and Adam keep charging in with Adam using his semblance to cut down most of the biomass in the way and then Sarge keeps on pressing forward. Megumi keeps on using explosion magic to prevent much of it from growing back as the others charge in to repel the tentacles and eyes. *WARNING: INCOMING FILLER* And does anyone remember the good days of ARK before they start doing this MMO-style quest bullshit they made in Genesis Part 2? Don't you hate quest that have you go after like ten rats and then go on another quest that is the same or have you kill more? I fucking hate those. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, that we won't get anymore shit like that in ARK 2. *FILLER FINISHED* They make their way towards the corridor as they managed to get to an area that doesn't have much of the biomass.

Everyone stop with Adam asking, "Where's Nikos' group?"

In another location, Coco fires her Gianduja in gatling gun mode as she mows down everything in her path. Once clear, she states, "This place is disgusting."

Team CFVY and Team JNPR with the Happy Huntresses are there as they mow down and cut down any of the biomass that gets in their way while dealing with Seekers, Summoners, Macrophages, and Voidwyrms that keep barreling down on them.

Jaune hid behind a corner to take a breath, "Wish I have a ranged weapon right now." Then continues the fight against the monsters.

In the bridge, might as well consider it a throne room with Rockwell Prime sitting on a throne of flesh, tentacles, legs, bone and arms as he watches everything through his multiple eyes. While watching them, he notices something peculiar about what is on everyone's wrists.

He opens his eyes, "ThE blAck BoXeS!" he is surprised, "I mUsT havE tHEm!" He desires those devices, "I wIlL bEcOmE a TrUe GoD! I MUST! NOOOOOWWWW!"

AN: Hey everyone! Hope you guys are enjoying this new chapter. Just to give you guys a heads up, An Isekai in RWBY is ending soon and I do have an announcement on my next story. I am gonna make a story that involve Minecraft with some mods (including shaders, API, server utilities, and addons) but gonna focus on two characters that are guarding a small town from simps and mobs in the world. I try to make a modpack, but some of the mods weren't on Curse Forge such as Rebel Rivals. Pluuuuusss... I made it too big. 1,536 mods in total. Just to let you know. So, I'm gonna make a story with most of these things in it. If you want a list of everything in it, let me know and I will post the list in the forum.
