The following morning, Jaune was taking a shower. He was getting ready to go around Vale. This was the first time he's felt Domrémy, after all. While showering, Jaune was organising his Inventory once more. Over the last two years, the only thing noteworthy that Jaune got was (Master Magician). It was a Legendary rarity and a compliment to his (Magic Talent – God). However, the content of (Master Magician) were Offensive, Defensive and Support magic.
According to Alice, this was due to the limit of the card. Similar cards do not exist in higher rarity as they evolve once they reach Mythical and above, and it would become (Divine Magic Knowledge). Only then would the knowledge of bending and manipulating laws and concepts be available.
It didn't matter to Jaune if he only had (Master Magician). It was enough for him. Plus, the support abilities within (Master Magician) was terrific. Healing, Strengthening, Enhancements, Alchemy were excellent knowledge to have, and with (Magic Talent – God) he had no limit on how many times he could cast a spell. Heck, Jaune doesn't even need to chant.
[Jaune, do you want me to spin the Gacha for the day?]
"Go ahead, Alice," Jaune said. "I hope it is something good. I haven't gotten anything noteworthy for a while now".
[Gacha is now rolling]
"Scáthach, do you want to walk around Vale?" Jaune asked. "I read online that they have some great café's to visit. And there are even restaurants with great views".
"Oh! Are you asking me on a date?" Scáthach said teasingly. "My, you are getting bold. I thought you said that you want to prove yourself first?".
"I wasn't asking you out on a date!" Jaune said embarrassed. "Besides, when I ask you out, I will specify that it is a date".
"Pfft! You can take a joke," Scáthach said with a laugh. "I know your personality. You're a straightforward person after all".
"So? Do you want to explore around Vale or not?" Jaune said. "I would like it if you went with me. I bet it would be a better experience".
"Sure, there is nothing to do here anyway," Scáthach said. "And it would be nice to see what this world has to offer".

"Not what I wanted, but it isn't that bad," Jaune said. "Alice, please integrate it for me".

After the Gacha, Jaune and Scáthach left the hotel together. They went around Vale the whole day. They went to different cafés, restaurants and other venues. However, Scáthach was not satisfied with the food they ate. The quality was okay, but the taste was nowhere near Jaune's food. So, when they headed back to the hotel, Scáthach was disappointed and had a frown. But it was gone when she smelt the cooking of Jaune. She slept wonderfully that night.
Jaune and Scáthach were in (Training Room – Legendary). The two were at it again. They were fighting to their heart's content. Jaune was much stronger than he was a year ago when he summoned Scáthach. He was able to gain advantages against her. However, he would always be a bit short and end up losing, just like what happened this time. Jaune was on the ground, exhausted. Not far from him, Scáthach was also exhausted.
"You're getting stronger by the day," Scáthach said. "Not long before you eventually beat me".
"I can't feel my legs," Jaune said. "I think you broke it".
"Oh, please," Scáthach said. "All injuries in this place are healed right away. Not even death can occur here".
"Anyway, I need to take a shower and head to Beacon," Jaune said. "The initiation is today. I wouldn't want to miss it".
While Jaune prepared to head to Beacon. On top of Beacon tower, three people were talking about Jaune. The three were Qrow Branwen, Glynda Goodwitch and Ozpin.
"Oz? Why did you take me away from my mission?" Qrow asked. "This is unlike you. You know how important my mission is".
"Qrow is right, Ozpin," Glynda said. "What can possibly be more important than finding the Fall Maiden's attacker and information about 'her' circle".
"During the exam a week ago," Ozpin said. "Jaune Arc controlled wind without the usage of wind Dust. Tell me, is this is important or not?".
"Damn. Okay. So, what do you want me to do?" Qrow said. "I figured that is the reason why you called me back".
"I need you to use your bird form to watch Jaune Arc's every movement," Ozpin said. "I need to know if he is working for 'her' or not. She's the only one capable of giving someone that kind of power. I believe that he might have gotten his power the same way as the person that put our Fall Maiden into a coma".
"Whoa! OZ, I thought you said that only a female can get the power of the Maidens?" "Qrow said. "How would a guy have the power of a Maiden?".
"Indeed, the Maiden's power would only transfer to a female," Ozpin said. "However, that's only if the power is transferred the traditional way. As we all know, the power of the Fall Maiden was stolen. I suspect that Jaune did the same with the missing Summer Maiden".
"Alright, Oz. I'll do what I can to keep my eye on him," Qrow said. "What should I do if I found out that he is indeed working for 'her'?".
"If you can capture him, then that would be for the best," Ozpin said. "That way, we can gain intel from him. If capture is not possible, eliminate the threat".
"Geez, Oz. You don't even know if the guy is working for 'her'," Qrow said. "But I'll do just that if I find out he is working for her. After all, he would be in the same place as both of my nieces. No way I'm going to let a crazy maniac come near her".
Back with Jaune in a bullhead. He was looking outside the window, admiring the view. Not far from him were sisters playing around. A moment later, a hologram of Glynda came up and welcomed them to Beacon.
Unlike all the students that headed to the auditorium, Jaune looked at the fantastic view in front of him. He didn't have a chance to do so when he came to Beacon for the exam. While admiring the beautiful lush green forest, Jaune heard and felt an explosion happen nearby.
Looking around, Jaune saw two people arguing, then it became three people. Not long later, the argument ended with the white-haired girl walking away. One of the people arguing was a red-haired girl. She decided to lay down on the floor. Jaune approached her and asked if she needed a hand.
"Hey there, I'm Jaune," Jaune said. He then put a hand forward. "Do you need a hand?".
"Yes," Ruby said. "And I'm Ruby".
The duo then started conversing on their way to the auditorium. For some reason, Jaune saw that Ruby kept looking at the Dominator that's holstered on his right hip and Arifar on his left hip.
"C-Can I see your weapons?" Ruby asked. She then whipped out Crescent Rose. "This is mine. Her name is Crescent Rose".
"Hmm…Not bad," Jaune said. "A high impact sniper rifle installed on a scythe. This is the first time I've seen something like this. The quality of the craftsmanship is good. The materials used are also of good quality. However, you don't seem to have reinforcement for the gears for the mechashift. I suggest you shield it so that you get less jamming from impact delivered to your weapon".
Ruby was staring at Jaune with shining eyes. This was the first time she met someone that knew more about weapons than she did. And the advice that he gave her was something that Ruby didn't think of. She was definitely going to take his advice.
"Hi! My name is Ruby Rose," Ruby said. Introducing herself once more. "Can we be friends?"
"Rose?" Jaune said. "Wait! Is your mother Summer Rose?"
"H-How?" Ruby asked. "How do you know my mother's name?".
"So, she is your mother!" Jaune said. "I knew Summer since I was three. She used to come to our house to meet with my parents. They seem to know each other for a long time. When I turned five, I witnessed her fighting Grimm in the back of my family's house. The way she fought looked like she was dancing. She was one of the reasons why I wanted to be a Huntsman. I especially admired how a bright light flashed from her eyes and turned Grimm to stone. Sadly, since then, I never got to meet her again".
"Jaune? How old are you?" Ruby asked. "I would guess seventeen since you're here at Beacon".
"That's right," Jaune said. "Why do you ask?".
"That means you are two years older than me," Ruby said. "When I was three years old, my mother, Summer Rose, went on a mission and never came home. She died on her mission that day".
"I see," Jaune said. "Sorry that I made you remember a bad memory".
"It's okay," Ruby said. "It's been a long time".
"Hey, I don't know if it would stop you from being sad," Jaune said. "But do you want to see my weapons. I saw how you kept looking at it for a while now".
"C-Can I?" Ruby asked. Jaune then handed the Dominator to her first, then Arifar. "Your sword is amazing. With your knowledge, why not make a mechashift weapon? And also, why can't I use the Dominator?".
"Mechashift is good and all, but I prefer the classics. Besides, I bet Arifar can beat your Crescent Rose," Jaune said. Ruby gave him a look that suggested that he said something scandalous. "As for why you can't use the Dominator. That's because you don't have the authorisation to use it. Through the grip, it can identify your DNA and see if you are an authorised user".
"That's quite a safety feature," Ruby said. "Why do you need to have that kind of safety feature?".
"That's because the Dominator is a dangerous weapon in the wrong hands," Jaune said. "Maybe when we go through the test for the initiation tomorrow, you would see".
"I can't wait!" Ruby said. "Oh, there is my sister. I need to go".
"Go ahead then," Jaune said. Ruby nodded, then she left. "Now, let's see if we can find Ren and Nora in this crowd".
While Jaune was looking for Ren and Nora. A red-haired spartan was looking at him. This was Pyrrha Nikos, a girl Jaune met during a trip to Argus.
Jaune went to Argus to meet his newlywed sister when he was sixteen. There he met Pyrrha in the plaza trying to hide from the paparazzi. Jaune gave her a helping hand, and she gave Jaune a tour of Argus. Too bad Jaune couldn't give his contact info to her before leaving Argus.
