Chapter 6: I want to be your friend
In her unconsciousness Madison remembered again moments from her childhood, it was shortly after 2014, Godzilla had killed the MUTO pair, but now an even larger and dangerous variant of the MUTO came to light, Muto Prime, also known as Jinshin-Mushi. It and Godzilla engaged in a brutal battle across the world, it took almost a week and the help of Monarch for Godzilla to finally claim the victory over Prime. Madison had seen and watched it happen, she was just 8 and her parents were pretty distracted right now, staying with her mom, while it hadn't really been her choice, she felt good about that decision at the time.
Her father had developed this enormous hatred for Godzilla, but Madison was too young to develop such a thing, although she had also been sad about Andrew, but Godzilla had fascinated her. When she saw the fight against the Jinshin Mushi, she always stood by and hoped he would win and was worried about him, when he was injured. His back was cracked and destroyed, blue clouds and flames descended from him, his steps were heavy and slow, weak and shaking slightly, but he would survive, he just needed time to recover, one day he would rise again, but now he would get some sleep.
Madison was in a secure base with Serizawa watching over her, watching the whole thing on the screen. As Godzilla made his way into the sea, Madison waved to him and shouted "Thank you Godzilla!" Serizawa laughed a little and picked up little Maddie. "Uncle Ishiro?" "Yes what is it Maddie?" "Do you think Godzilla will be okay." Ishiro looked at the screen and saw his old friend, badly wounded and exhausted. "Hmm, I think he'll be fine, he's survived worse, but we can be thankful that your mother helped."
Little Maddie smiled and beamed a little at the thought that her mother had helped Godzilla. "Do you think I can help Godzilla someday?" Serizawa smiled and said, "I'm sure you can, Maddie, maybe you'll be friends someday."
She slept some more, she was exhausted after the attack, she needed some rest, now no one would be able to change anything about the situation they were in, gathering strenght for the next possible step was the wiser decision. What she could do now against their situation was still unclear to her, after all, they had been surprised and had no idea what would actually come to them.
A loud thunder though slowly woke her up, followed by a nudge at her side, cautiously she opened her eyes and looked to her side where Abby was slowly rousing her from sleep.
"Miki wake up." She heard her proteges voice in a panic, they were still on the Osprey Ren had taken her to, didn't remember exactly what happened again. "Easy Abby I'm already here." Said Miki, holding her hand as the sinister soldiers dressed in all black sat across from them and walked through the Osprey. They were on approach, the weather outside was stormy with lightning striking now and then in the distance.
"Where do you think they're taking us?" Abby whispered in her ear. Miki thought, and looked out the small windows, the rain made visibility worse for her, but she had a guess. "Possibly onto a ship, it would be a good way to keep us hidden." "You think?" "SILENCE!" Shouted a soldier next to them and the two fell silent again, Miki noticing Abby hiding behind her. Abby always acted as the tuff, Rocker Kid of herself, but that facade fell down quickly right now.
Shortly after, Ren walked past them from the cockpit, making an imposing impression as if he were quite important, though Miki could see that it was all just for show, and she was quite right.
Ren wanted to prove to everyone that he was right, that he was right about his father. But he lacked the confidence, the self-assuredness and the trust that his father had and instead he tried to make an impression on the people around him with a cold playing character that he was important in the room.
But even if Miki didn't quite buy it, the fact that he now had her in custody was not a good thing, he could still do something to Abby.
The Osprey touched down and landed, a small vibration went through the whole machine, the soldiers were getting ready to move out, Ren turned to Miki and Abby and looked at them, Miki was not afraid and clearly showed it, which he liked less. He tried to intimidate everyone around him, to gain control of the situation through fear and thus bend people to his will, but Miki gave him a look that was anything but that, she would simply do what was necessary to protect Abby, but neither would she give him the respect he wanted nor would she be afraid of him.
"Stand up." Miki followed his demand and stood up along with Abby, maintaining eye contact with him. "Good, follow me." He turned away from them again, Miki looking down at his hands as he did so he tapped I against the leg, he seemed nervous and note thing in his head for, unlikely he was running the operation.
The door of the Osprey opened and they were greeted by a strong thunderstorm and cold wind. They were on a ship, she was right, but it seemed to be an old aircraft carrier, Miki tried to make out anything around them, but the wind and rain hardly gave her any idea in the dark of the night. The wind whipped and howled around as the water of the sea beat the ship's bow and created large bulwarks, Miki tried to cover Abby a bit with her jacket, but the wind was too strong.
A few minutes through the storm they were brought through an entrance into the interior of the ship. It was very dark and gave an eerie, cold impression with the few light sources it had. Abby and Miki were dragged through, Miki trying as best she could to protect her charge from attacks.
They arrived at a new door, were shoved inside, and the door slammed shut behind them. Abby immediately turned and banged on the door. "You'll regret this, you bastards!" Suddenly Ren appeared right in front of the glass pane she had just hit, surprised by this she almost jumped backwards and would have hit her head on the floor if it hadn't been for Miki, who barely managed to catch her.
"I would recommend you stay calm and get acquainted with the others, they will be here for a while." "What are you going to do with us?" Abby demanded of him, but Miki held her back and faced Ren. The two looked directly at each other again, Miki knew he was also Japanese like her and looked slightly familiar. "Don't worry, nothing will happen to your protégé and you." Miki kept silent and just looked at him sharply, like a mother lecturing her son.
Ren was about to go on his way again, but behind him he heard Miki saying something in his native language.
"Dareka ni nanika o shōmei shiyou to shite mo, nani mo mise rarenaishi, anata wa kantan ni miyabura rete shimau. Hokori o torimodosou to shite mo, jibun o shōmei dekinai hito o watashi wa mitomemasu. "
Ren turned to look at Miki, his expression one of anger and shock, he clenched his fists but before he could do anything he was stopped by someone in the hallway.
"Serizawa you idiot, you finally have the hostages?" Belvera also finally arrived with her people.
"I accomplished my plan, and yours?" "We got what we needed, and the monkey did a good job of showing the lizard, even if he didn't finish it off." "He will, otherwise I will take over." "Oh please, come on, not that trip again. Come to the bridge, our sponsors are waiting for updates."
They quickly disappeared from Miki's view, so she turned back to the rest of the room, and was surprised to see someone else.
"Dr. Andrews?" She asked. "Ah Ms. Seagusa, good to finally see you, I was getting worried." "What do you mean?" Andrews handed another sheet of paper to a girl sitting on the table, she was quite young, maybe 8 or 9 by Miki's estimation. From ancestry she would have guessed the girl to be an Iwi member, Andrews was stationed on Skull Island, just needed to put one and two together. "Hey Abby, play along with..." "Jia. She's deaf." "Oh." Miki looked at Jia, who looked up at her and smiled, she smiled back.
"Abby Play with Jia, the adults need to talk a little bit." "Okay..." Abby sat down with Jia and tried to play or draw with her, she was 16, but at least she wanted to be nice to Jia, besides Miki seemed to put on her sterner voice.
Miki waved Andrews to a corner of the room, which was relatively empty, there was a table for 4 and a sleeping corner with old couch's.
"Andrews what the hell is going on?" "I don't quite know either, we were taken hostage a few days ago, these people took our base and squeezed all the information out of me about Kong." "Wait, Kong? I thought it was currently missing." "That was the official news, he came to us 2 months ago, somewhat wounded and we are taking the opportunity to study him more closely." "Apparently someone else has been keeping an eye on Kong." "You can say that out loud." Gave Dr. Andrews in response, looking over at Jia, where Abby was just having trouble communicating with her.
"Jia she one of the iwi, but she seems special." "How special?" "Similar to Dr. Russell's daughter and Godzilla, she seems to have a direct connection with Kong."
Slowly it dawned on Miki why they were here, Andrews realized that she was already quickly putting the pieces of this story together.
"Jia sees Kong as a kind of father figure to her and he protects her, while she doesn't have complete control over him, it gave us more than enough opportunities for us to study a Titan that is not in hibernation up close, however, the information was still supposed to be kept secret, but somehow the information did manage to get out." "And now they want to try to use Jia to control Kong." Ilene sighed.
"Miki, it's not about trying anymore, these people have taken Kong under their control, lucky they still need Jia, otherwise it probably would have been over for both of us." "What do you mean 'still' they need Jia?"
"I'm unsure, but can you remember the New York attack six months ago."
"Very well, Madison has talked to me about it every now and then, did those people have anything to do with it? "
"Absolutely, they seem to be stooges of Alan Jonah." "But Jonah is in prison." "As if something like that would stop an organization like this."
Dr. Andrew leaned against the wall and sighed, staring into the air as she continued. "Something they did to Kong, maybe before he came to us, but whatever it was, it has to do with the ORCA that Jonah made with Russell's materials and with that they have Kong almost under control, he follows their orders and commands, however there are limits or moments where he gets out of control, as a wild animal sometimes does."
Miki turned to Jia, who was continuing to draw while Abby showed her pencils or what color would fit. "And for that, they need Jia to get him following again." "Right. How is she?" Andrews looked from the ceiling back down at Miki; she had her eyes set on the little Iwi girl.
"They had threatened me all sorts of things they would do to her, not nice things, however they couldn't get rid of her otherwise they lose control of Kong, Jia wanted me to be alive otherwise she wouldn't help, luckily they agreed. However, I also lied about being the only one who can talk to her, she can read lips, but I told her to keep that a secret from everyone else."
"So young and so much responsibility, it's not easy for a kid her age." Said Miki, it reminded her of Madison, who was a little older than Jia, but had already experienced similar things at the hands of these people. "I wish I could be a better mother to her." Miki looked a little suspiciously over at Dr. Andrews, who lowered her head to the floor somewhat guiltily.
"I never had children, but when she came to us I thought it might be a good idea. She didn't have a home in the village, her parents had died, she wasn't kicked out, but she was still disowned by her own village, maybe because she was deaf, but who knows. Her connection to Kong helped her survive on the island but I thought maybe I could give her a family. But now I've dragged her into all this." Miki just nodded, unsure what to say.
"Can I talk to her?" "Do you know sign language?" Andrews asked in amazement. "Of course, I've had many protégés in my time, so I've needed it."
Miki walked over to Jia and Abby at the round table, the two seemed pleased with the drawing, the two were doing well, that made Miki happy.
She sat down next to Jia. "What's that beautiful drawing you made?" She asked, Jia noticed that someone was watching her drawing and turned to Miki to show her. A drawing of a large tree was on it, under it Jia had a portrait of herself, and next to her was a large hairy monkey holding her hand. Miki began to speak to her in sign language.
"Is that Kong and you?" Jia beamed at seeing someone else who could talk to her. "Yes, that's me and Papa." "Kong is your Papa?" When Miki asked her that, she went over the things she had been told in her head.
"Andrews didn't not about her parental connection to Kong." She thought to herself.
Jia nodded.
Miki smiled and turned to Abby for a moment. "Abby, I'd like to talk to Jia alone for a moment, do you mind?" "No of course not." Abby stood up and patted Jia on the head briefly, showing her the rocker sign she had taught Jia.
Miki rolled her eyes a bit as she giggled briefly, but turned her attention back to Jia.
"What's your name?" Miki tried to build up to her first.
"Jia. "
"Jia, that's a nice name, my name is Miki," "That's a nice name too." Showed Jia and giggled a little.
"Thanks. Tell me Jia, how old are you? " Jia counted with her hands, she showed her both hands up at the end.
"Ten year so, when is your birthday? " Jia shook her head, in the village it had never been important nor had anyone told her.
"Where's your daddy?" Jia looked down at the ground a little saddened when Miki asked her that.
"I don't know, they told me he would follow," a short pause followed as she considered what to say, Jia was young but not stupid and was still unsure if she could trust Miki. She followed Miki's body movements and posture, as an Iwi she could practically feel if a person was trustworthy. All the Iwi communicated silently, much of it derived from body language, and the oldest could even speak to each other telepathically. Jia felt naturally relaxed next to Miki, almost as if she had an aura around her that gave a positive feeling.
"Are you alright Jia?"
The little girl felt comfortable and safe next to this stranger. She swallowed, flooded with emotions and thought only briefly for herself, Miki became slightly worried because Jia needed something with her answer, but she thought that if the bad people had caught her, Andrews was talking to her, Jia could feel safe, for a long time she had not had this feeling.
"The bad people, they destroyed our home."
Miki noticed that the little one was not crying, but definitely had sorrow, Miki could imagine a very good picture of what must go through Jia's head, Madison had also had a kind of connection to the home of the Iwis and had often told her that she sometimes felt better there.
"Jia...I'm so sorry, are you okay?" "I'm...fine."
Jia had hesitated for a moment to give an answer, she was scared of everything she was around, so Miki had to approach it with caution.
"You miss home, don't you?"
The little Iwi girl nodded, Miki sighed she knew how children of that age get attached to it, it's the place they know, where they feel comfortable, it's never easy for children to leave their home behind, their memories, of good times, bad times, all their feelings build up from there.
And Jia had lost this important place, was taken somewhere else, it reminded her of Madison, history repeated itself again. Miki realized she was getting slightly angry at the man who had captured her, but that was beside the point now, Jia needed someone to be there for her.
"I know what it's like to lose a home and I know many people who share that feeling, I've taken care of and helped many who have lost their homes, I want to help you too."
Jia tilted her head slightly to the side and looked at Miki and thought, remembering an old man who had lived with them in the village and had set himself a task to protect the village. He had been an outsider like Miki which made Jia wonder, was Miki like him?
"Why do you help others?"
Miki was able to give an immediate answer to the question.
"I've been through a lot and I don't want others around me to go through the same thing. They deserve a home, a place where they can feel safe, live normally, and I want to help them grow, look further into the future and have hope despite what lies ahead and accept themselves for who they are."
Andrews noticed how skilled Miki was at sign language, she couldn't really follow her at all, so many words, but Jia seemed to understand, she was more gifted at it than Iwi.
"Jia, I promise you that you will have a home, whether it is your old one or a new one."
The little one looked at Miki with slightly teary eyes and had to sob briefly, even though no tears were shed.
"You are also concerned about your dad aren't you?."
Jia nodded, a little sad.
"They are hurting him and have changed him, he is fighting the evil inside him and I can't help him, otherwise these bad people will hurt us, I'm scared." Miki was afraid of not being completely sure, but Jia's and Andrews relationship doesn't seem to be as solid as she would have expected, even if Dr. Andrews was now practically her foster mother, but Miki figured that would be the case.
Andrews was still too inexperienced with children, she had none herself, neither had she had a serious relationship with anyone, the only one she had was with a Monarch technician of whom she had almost forgotten the name, only that he and his brother were working on a Hollow Earth transport. No matter how hard she tried, Jia was not in good hands with her and Miki knew it.
"I've already heard what you need to do, you're one of the bravest girls I've ever seen, we'll get you and your dad some help, I promise."
Jia looked Miki in the eye, the girl hadn't had anyone she could really trust in a long time.
"Promise?"
Jia asked her hopefully. Miki nodded and put her hand on her chest where her heart was, she swore she would make Jia happy.
The little Iwi girl hugged Miki, for a long time she felt safe with someone again, she felt it deep inside her that Miki was a good person who wanted to help her. That would mean a new protégé for her now, that would then depend on Andrews and especially when they went out of here again.
Abby smiled and threw herself on the couch in the back corner. "Looks like we're going to have a new family member." Andrews almost choked on the water she just had and looked over at her. "Abby we don't know yet-"
But Miki was interrupted, by a huge shaking, it went up her legs and made her whole body shake, but her first thought was not to think what it could be, but to protect Jia, and hug her, should something fall down it would try to block her.
Abby held onto the couch for dear life as the blow hit and felt like she was almost thrown through the air, because that's exactly what she saw in the corner of her eye with Andrews, wich fell backwards and hit the wall hard on the back of her head and passed out. Her water bottle tipped to the floor and flowed across the floor. After the crash was over, everyone looked around to get a brief update on the situation. Abby jumped up and climbed through the puddle to Andrews and tested to see if she was still breathing and had a pulse, both were still present, but she had a laceration on her head, they would need medical attention. Miki made it clear that Jia was fine, she was in shock and scared but nothing had happened to her, then turned to Abby as she let Jia stand up. "Are you okay Abby?" "I'm fine, Andrews got it though, we need someone to help her."
Suddenly they heard a loud roar, it made the ship shake again, but not quite like the impact from before, but the sound was terrifying, so much anger and hatred was behind it. Abby got a slight shudder, but Miki looked up at the ceiling from where the sound was coming, something was up there and it could only have been one thing. Jia tugged on Miki's Monarch outfit to get her attention, when she got it she pointed quite frantically with her hands. "Daddy's here."
Voices came from outside, someone was running towards their cell, yelling could be heard, the whole ship was obviously in an uproar. Suddenly the door banged open and several guards stormed the room and surrounded the three prisoners, Jia hid in Miki's arm, she was scared. Miki could feel herself shaking. A woman stepped forward, her clothes were Violet colored with a slight red belt, her hair was black, she appeared to be of Asian descent, she looked around her, over at Dr. Andrew's unconscious body.
"Is she dead?" "No, but she still needs help." Replied Abby with a rather cool tone, "Would have been too easy too, take her to the infirmary." Two soldiers walked over, Abby got out of the way and spaced out, the two took Andrews by the arms and carried her out of the room, then turned down to Miki and Jia. "Jia sweetie, please come to Aunt Belvera," and she went down to tap her on the shoulder, but she didn't respond and Miki pulled her away from her.
"Leave her alone. She's scared." "Oh she should be, but right now we need her, so if you would be so kind, give me the girl."
Belvera pulled on Jia's arm and yanked her away from Miki, she had on her leathery black gloves that felt all cold and wet. Panic-stricken, Jia struggled around, breathing fast, trying to break away from the evil woman, but just as Belvera was about to pull her out by the door, Miki grabbed Jia's hand and yanked her away again from the hands of this, in her eyes, monster.
"How dare you-" Just as Belvera was about to growl at her, Miki slapped her hard enough to knock her to the ground. Abby's eyes widened, she had never seen Miki do anything like that, until now she had yet to show a side like that. Immediately the soldiers held weapons towards her, but Miki didn't flinch and stared them down, the eyes of the men around her were covered with visors, yet Miki noticed they were hesitant, would only listen to orders, also nervous of whatever was up there.
"That hurt a little." Said Belvera, she had to giggle a little, she wiped her face with her hand, a small red spot was on her cheek, it would go away after a few minutes.
Belvera looked Miki in the eyes, she had this look, because of an angry mother.
"I'll go with Jia." Said Miki, keeping firm eye contact with Belvera, who gave a slight grin and walked once around Miki, patterning her better, she hadn't had the chance to see her yet. She paid attention to her posture, her body language and noticed that Miki did exactly the same. A slight smile escaped Belvera's face, "She's not as stupid as the other scientist," the two were similar in stature and appearance, you'd think they were sisters, she thought to herself, and had to chuckle again.
"Is something wrong?" "Oh, nothing. All right, we don't have that much time, they're watching the little one now." "Nothing will happen to Dr. Andrews though." "Oh, you're smarter than I thought, Ms. Seagusa. Whatever, but watch out," Belvera pulled a knife out of her pocket and held it very close to Miki's face, so close that she could see scratches on the blade, "don't forget that you are not our guest, we decide about your life, as long as you have use for us."
"Is that all?" She gave as a cool answer. Belvera grinned, in Miki she saw a mother would make to protect a child, and if she should perish in the process. Another wobble passed through the ship, the metal groaning a little. "You have courage and will, I like that in a woman," Belvera grinned just a little and pulled her knife away again, "the gentlemen will escort her up, they'll take care of Jia."
After her brief visit, Belvera left the room again and promptly disappeared. Jia had clung to Miki's arm and looked up at her, Miki felt the little one's pulse through her hands, trembling and frightened by everything around her, she looked down at her and gave Jia a gentle smile to calm her down a bit.
"Mam, we have to go." Said one of the soldiers, Miki looked over at him, he seemed to be the highest ranking of the group, there had been 4. "Give me a moment please." Miki asked him, he nodded and he put down his weapon and gave the order to the man next to him to do the same. Miki crouched down to Jia and grabbed her by the cheeks, stroking her head briefly. "Can you read my lips?" Jia nodded, Miki had to smile again, "What a talented girl you are. Jia, you had to trust me, hold my hand," at that she grabbed Jia's left hand with both of hers, "everything will be fine, I promise." It took Jia a brief moment, but answered Miki again with a nod. Then she stood up again and turned to the soldier. "We are ready." "Good, stay with us and just follow our instructions, keep the little girl with you so she doesn't get scared again."
He walked out, Miki and Jia went with him, behind them the lower ranking soldier. Abby exhaled exhaustedly and let herself fall back on the sofa in the corner.
The leading soldier's attitude was more relaxed and his tone from earlier was understanding. It gave Miki some reassurance and hope, even if he is a part of this plan or organization, the humanity in him gave her some hope. The group walked through the dark ship again, only slightly illuminated by the red light, the air was stuffy and humid, the dark pipes and the narrow corridor gave an uncomfortable, claustrophobic feeling, it rumbled and groaned as the ship swayed slightly, back and forth.
They arrived back at the stairs to the door, outside you could hear the rain well again, the pattering of the drops against the metal. "Go up and just go to the side in front, the kid already knows what to do." The soldier pointed up to the door, Miki nodded legedlich and held Jia's hand very tightly, the second soldier gave them disposable raincoats, a red one for Jia, a gray one for Miki, quickly the two put them on, Miki helping Jia tuck in the sleeves properly for a moment. "Ready?" She asked Jia, in sign language, she nodded again. The two held hands, Miki opened the door, the cold wind immediately surrounding her, followed by the rain whipping against her face again. She closed the door again behind her and briefly wiped rain from her eyes, she looked around, not a soul was on the deck.
Suddenly Jia went fast and pulled Miki hand, dragged her along briefly, closer to the edge to the ship. "Jia wait-" then she felt this vibration again, a new wobble, she almost fell over at the surprise, she caught Jia though, the two were only a few meters away from edge, Miki saw the sea, it raged and large waves built up and crashed down again, she saw that just to the left of her was rock and land. The ship had to be anchored on shallow water.
It was night and rain was like a wall that made it difficult to see far, only outlines were visible. Then she noticed how something big was coming towards her, it walked on two legs, it had the outline of a human being, it made her uneasy, but Jia didn't seem to care, on the contrary her grip on Miki's hand became lighter and more relaxed, wanting to go further forward. Miki knelt down and held her back, but then a large hand broke through the wall out and she got her first good look at him. Black fur covered almost his whole body, first the shoulder showed, then the rest, spotlights were shined on him, she saw the muscular chest, scratches were on it, some a bit fresher than others.
Miki swallowed, but remained calm and kept a cool head. In front of her stood Kong, the Titan king of Skull Island. There are always stories about him and the expeditions to Monarch, how he is the last of his kind and possibly an alpha who could keep up with Godzilla, but he had simply ignored Ghidorah's calls and stayed out of the fight against him and actually he would just stay on his island and be left alone, but now he was here and waiting for Jia.
His face was full of anger and hatred, irritated by the new environment, overloaded by his senses tired of his fight, someone had to calm him down and Jia was the only one who could do that, he wouldn't do anything, no on the contrary, Jia was the only thing he really cared about that was still important to him despite everything that was inside him, she was like a daughter to him. He saw Jia, but another person was next to her, which made him nervous, he bared his teeth, growled briefly and stared her down.
Miki looked at him briefly, but averted her gaze again and looked away at the ground. With gorillas this is a sign of submission, maybe this worked on Kong, she thought at least. Jia took a step forward and told him something in sign language and stretched out her hand and pointed her finger at him. Miki noticed how again vibration originated steps right next to them, cautiously she raised her head again and looked up. Kong sat down, the water was shallow enough that he didn't even have to stand to reach the deck, it was about up to his chest. Carefully he moved his hand forward, his index finger extended like Jia.
The two met and Jia stroked him very gently over the finger, even though she was small he could feel it, knew exactly how he had to move so as not to endanger her. Through the rain he was cold and soaked, but she did not mind, she smiled and that calmed him and made him happy.
Jia briefly looked behind her at Miki, she cautiously walked up to the two. Without hesitation, Jia took her by the hand and very carefully placed it on Kong, the two made eye contact, Miki seeing something very peaceful, but also something unnatural, something evil.
Jia looked up at him and signaled him again, she said "She's a good one." Kong seemed to think and slowly pulled his finger away again and tilted his head as he looked at Miki. Did he understand sign language? Miki thought to himself, gorillas could do it too, why not Kong he was one of the smartest titans.
She also gave a sign. "I want to be your friend." Kong puffed briefly, a deep rumble coming from his chest, then he raised his arm again and gave an answer. In a very simple and primitive way he asked, "Friend?"
He asked her, Miki. Jia nodded for her and then looked up at her, she thought and nodded as well. And for a moment Kong gave a slight smile again and expelled air in satisfaction, then it turned all over again. Something hurt in his head he grabbed and growled discontentedly and shook himself. Miki and Jia could do nothing, only watch, after a minute it was already over again, but he still puffed very loudly, his head he held with his hand, for him it felt as if his head would be pierced.
"What about him?" She asked Jia. "An Evil Shadow is in him." She gave as an answer.
