Two weeks have gone by, Ruby and her family are happy about the return of Summer Rose. Jaune was as well since he was happy to interact with his idol. Though Jaune isn't that obsessed with Summer, he merely respected her as a Huntress.
Now, Jaune was in a bullhead heading to Domrémy. Haruhime was with him, still in her maid outfit. She seemed to have taken a liking to it. She would say that she feels safer wearing it since it is a combat suit. Jaune made a dozen variations of the maid combat suit. However, Jaune was heading home to his family. He wasn't sure if he should have tried harder to convince Haruhime to dress more normally. Then again, she looked damn cute wearing the maid outfit.
Two hours later, Jaune and Haruhime arrived at Domrémy. Looking around, Jaune saw that nothing had changed, which is good. That means there was no Grimm attack.
Jaune and Haruhime then made their way towards the Arc Household. Jaune looked at Haruhime and saw that she was nervous as if she was meeting her boyfriend's…parents. He shook his head, and he rang the intercom.
"Hello," Jayden said. "Can I help you?".
"Hey, Jayden," Jaune said. "Do you mind opening the door?".
"Jaune!" Jayden said. "Give me a moment".
Jaune waited for a few seconds, and he heard a clicking sound which indicated that the door was open. He and Haruhime entered the house. Once there, the entire family were there, including Saphron, Terra and their new child.
"Hello, everyone,' Jaune said. "How have you all been?".
"Is that all you have to say after running away from home?" Joan said. "You had us worried that something bad might have happened to you. You didn't even leave a note about what you were up to".
"Eh?" Jaune was confused. "But I did leave a note. I said that I was leaving to fulfil my dream of being a Huntsman. I even texted you when I was accepted at Beacon".
"We didn't see any note," Joan said, and the others nodded along. "We looked throughout the house and found no note, not even in your shed".
"I don't know what to say," Jaune said. "I know that a note won't make up for the worry that you all felt when I left, but it would have at least alleviated some of your worries. That's why I made one. I don't know how it disappeared since I left it on the dining table. Still, that doesn't make up for the stress you had to go through. For that, I'm sorry".
"Let's just drop it," Joan said with a sigh. "Can you tell us how you've been at Beacon and who the girl beside you wearing a maid outfit is?".
Jaune told them about Beacon, the friends he made, the training he's been doing, and the things that they were studying. Then Jaune introduced Haruhime to his family. At first, they thought that Haruhime was Jaune's girlfriend, and they were up to kinky stuff, and that's the reason Haruhime was wearing a maid outfit. Jaune corrected, but the Arc sisters can see that Haruhime is interested in Jaune. Hence, they took her to another room to speak with her.
As for Jaune, his dad, Noah, called him to his office. He wanted to speak to Jaune about why he didn't want him to become a Huntsman. But since he's already in the process of being one, Noah decided it best for Jaune to know about the danger lurking around Remnant recorded by the Arc family.
"Jaune…listen. Since you've already chosen this path," Noah said. "The only thing I can do is tell you the dangers of Remnant so that you can prepare for it. It's best you know about it now rather than get blindsided but the possible revelation in the future".
"I already know about the Queen of Grimm, dad," Jaune said. "Two years ago, I may or may not have hacked the family archive in your computer. I've read and seen all that was recorded in it. Even after seeing it, I still decided to continue with my chosen path because I can do things others cannot. If there is a way to beat the Queen of Grimm, then it's me".
"What do you mean?" Noah asked. "What things can you do that no other people can?".
Jaune then showed his father his ability to use magic. Noah jumped. He knew of the four Maiden's existence, but the magic Jaune showed does not correlate to their capability. What Jaune showed goes beyond the powers of the Maiden. He now understood Jaune may genuinely be able to stop the Queen of Grimm in the future, and holding him back from achieving his dream would waste his potential.
The following day, Jaune was spending time with his nephew. The little guy saw so cute. Jaune even used (Flames of Transmogrification – Mythical) to make Adrian a toy safe for him to play with. The little guy was so happy that he wanted Jaune to carry him all day. Saphron and Terra were smiling at the sight of Adrian and Jaune playing together.
Jeanne was jealous of the treatment that Adrian was giving Jaune. She's tried to carry the child multiple times but would cry without reason. Jeanne approached Jaune, who was carrying Adrian and asked him if he could let her carry Adrian. Jaune handed Adrian over to Jeanne, and Adrian started crying. Jeanne was about to hand Adrian back, but Jaune smiled at her and he boop Adrian's nose, who then proceeded to stop crying and started laughing.
"Thank you, Jaune," Jeanne said. "I don't know how you did it but thank you. I've been trying to carry Adrian for a while now, but he would cry every time".
Later that evening, Jaune was preparing dinner for the family in the kitchen. The Arc family were excited to eat Jaune's cooking after a long time. Everyone loved Joan's cooking, but there was a massive gap between Jaune and Joan's cooking.
Once the food was done cooking, everyone was excited to eat. Jaune made all their favourites. That's why it took a while to cook. The evening was quiet. Everyone enjoyed dinner in silence as they savoured the food.
As the school break ended, Jaune and Haruhime flew back to Beacon. Jaune was thinking about the training of Ren, Pyrrha and Nora. He was thinking of asking Scáthach and Haruhime to help them train in DanMachi. It would be a perfect world for them to train while I go to another world. However, that's for later. Jaune has a feeling that the beginning of this coming semester is going to be exciting.
A few days after arriving at Beacon, Jaune was in the library with his team and Haruhime studying for the upcoming test before the Vytal Tournament.
"Are you guys ready for the Vytal Tournament?" Jaune asked. "This is a big deal for many people".
"We are!" Nora shouted. "We've trained as best we can. But I hope we can train a bit more".
"Hmm…Since you want to train a bit more," Jaune said. "There is a place I can bring you to train. However, it would be quite dangerous as Dust doesn't work in that location. Are you up to it?".
"Ooooooh! Quite mysterious," Nora said. "If Ren goes, then I'm in".
"Hmm…How dangerous are you talking about?" Ren said. "I mean, fighting Grimm is dangerous. But it's at a level we can deal with".
"Not as dangerous as you would think," Jaune said. "However, the lower you go, the more powerful the things you'll be fighting. But I'll be sending someone to protect you guys".
"If it helps with our training, then I'm in," Pyrrha said. "I'm always up for a challenge to improve myself".
"Since you said that there will be someone protecting us," Ren said. "I don't see any harm in that. Alright, I'm in".
"Since Ren is in, I'm definitely in," Nora said. "How about we invite team RWBY?".
"Not a bad suggestion," Jaune said. "I can ask them later when we finish our studies".
Ren, Nora, Pyrrha and Haruhime continued their studies while Jaune spoke to Alice mentally.
[Are you sure you would like to bring them to Orario? I thought you wanted them to experience a peaceful world before then?]
"I know," Jaune said. "But you were right the last time. They are warriors. They'll strive in a chaotic world. It's not like it's the only world I'm bringing them to. When they're stronger, I plan to travel to different worlds with them".

"I know," Jaune said. "I was planning to roll later, but since you've mentioned it, might as well roll it".
