Ruby and co were running. You see, they aren't in the dungeon or Jaune's store. No, they're at the (Training Room – Legendary). Scáthach was putting them in their paces. Pyrrha, a few days ago, was killed by Scáthach. This scared them, but they realised that Pyrrha had healed a moment later. That's when Scáthach told them that no one could die inside the special training room. Meaning that they would be pushed to the limit. Even if they die from exhaustion, they would be okay after a while.
"This is torture!" Yang said. "I feel like my bones are starting to buckle from overexertion".
"Stop complaining. We're all in the same boat here," Weiss said. "At least you're used to doing heavy lifting working, I'm not".
"Guys! It's pointless to complain," Ruby said. "Do you remember what happened when Scáthach heard us complaining? She tripled our regime".
"I'm with Ruby," Blake said. "It's better to complete the regime rather than complain and risk getting it tripled".
"I don't know why you guys are complaining? This is great!" Nora said. "I'm getting the work out of the lifetime!".
"Nora…Not everyone is like you," Ren said. He was the most exhausted out of everyone as he had the least stamina and endurance. "Not everyone is a training machine".
"Pfft! This is nothing," Nora said. "Have you seen Jaune train? This is like a light workout for him. I've seen him run the entirety of Beacon ten times in an hour! Do you know how big Beacon is? I thought it was impossible to do, yet, he did it without being winded".
"I've seen that too," Pyrrha said. "Once, I wanted to join him, but when I saw how fast he runs and how long, I thought that there was no chance I would be able to keep up with him and just slow him down".
"Your leader is insane! How is running throughout Beacon a light workout?" Yang said. "And to top it off, he does so in an hour. Oum! I would die from exhaustion".
"By the way, Pyrrha," Weiss said. "How was it like dying?".
"Weird, to say the least," Pyrrha replied. "First I saw the spear of Scáthach and the next second nothing. Sorry, I can't explain it any more than that".
"All of you! Enough talking and start moving!" Scáthach said. "Now!".
"Yes!" Everyone shouted.
After doing their warm-up, Scáthach told them it was time for sparring. This scared everyone since they knew Scáthach won't hold back, and they were undoubtedly going to die. This is their life for the next two weeks on Orario.
Two weeks later, Ruby and co were finally allowed to enter the dungeon. However, if they don't reach the designated floor given to them within the time limit, they will do special training. This was not something any one of them wanted to do. Hence, they performed exceptionally well.
(Earth-19999)
Ancient One was surprised at how quick it was for Jaune to pick up the way of the Mystic Arts. His talent was like no other. If Jaune was from Earth, she wouldn't mind him being the Sorcerer Supreme. However, she knew that Jaune couldn't be the full-time protector of Earth. At least she was able to get him to protect Earth when needed. At this time, Ancient One is watching Jaune leave Kamar-Taj.
"So much power for a single person," Ancient One said. "Yet, uncorrupted. I've seen more people with less talent and power than him be corrupted. How does he do it? I wish I knew so that I can prevent the corruption of my students".
Jaune was making his way to a place known as New Mexico. He was interested in the hammer that people were talking about. He knew from the description from people that it was a magic weapon. And it was solidified even more when Jaune saw that the government or some sort of agency decided to remove the existence of the news everywhere. Jaune saw this as a chance to learn more about magic weapons and once more make his own Legendary and above grade weapon.
When Jaune arrived at Puente Antiguo, New Mexico, he looked for the magic weapon. It didn't take long for Jaune to find it. However, it was riddled with people. So, Jaune used magic to hypnotise people to leave. He didn't like using hypnosis on innocent people, but this was the quickest way to secure the hammer.
Jaune then used magic to conceal the area and make it look like nothing was there. He even put a spell to make sure that anyone who enters the area leaves the place and thinks nothing is amiss.
Not knowing anything, Jaune picked up the hammer as if he held a normal weapon. Looking at the hammer, Jaune can feel powerful magic on it. Using the Mystic Arts, Jaune analysed the hammer. He was surprised that it was made of Uru. This allowed Jaune to realise that Uru came from this world.
"No wonder Uru was rated as Mythical even as an ingot," Jaune said. "Thankfully, I wasn't stupid and left the ingot alone. But now, I'm excited to use the metal to create a weapon that surpasses even Gáe Bolg. Why did you never tell me that Uru was such a magnificent metal?".
[You never asked. As you know, I'll answer everything you ask of me as long as I am capable. If you asked me about Uru, then I would have told you about its property of becoming stronger the more magic is used on it]
While studying the hammer, Jaune learned the different enchantments on it, such as the Power of Recall, Flight, Energy Sensing, Energy Projection, Energy Absorption and Redirection, Cosmic Energy Production and Control, etc.
"Whoever enchanted this weapon must be powerful," Jaune said. "Each enchantment individually is enough to make someone a powerhouse".
[The person who enchanted Mjolnir is indeed powerful; however, he isn't the strongest in this world. It's safe to say that he isn't even in the top ten]
"Serious! Whoa! This is insane," Jaune said. "How powerful are the top ten in this world?".
[Powerful enough to wipe you and this planet off the face of this universe without you even realising]
"They're not going to come after me for coming to this world, right?" Jaune asked. "Please tell me I didn't piss them off just by arriving here".
[Worry not, Jaune. They don't even know of your existence]
After knowing that Jaune wasn't being hunted by the powerful beings of Earth-19999, he continued studying Mjolnir. A few hours later, he left the area without leaving a single trace of his existence. He left the hammer where it was.
Jaune then travelled to the nearby town and went to a café. Goose was getting hungry. Although, Jaune could have just used his ability of conjuration to conjure food. Not long after Jaune left Mjolnir, black cars arrived at the scene and started securing the perimeter.
Jaune could have left Earth-19999 since he was done with his training. However, he was curious as to who the owner of Mjolnir was. So, he decided to stick around for a bit longer, a week max.
The following day, Jaune saw four people that was not human, yet they looked remarkably human. The four seemed to be reuniting with a friend, but Jaune couldn't help his curiosity. Unlike the different races of DanMachi, which are similar to humans, just stronger, they aren't much different when it comes to anatomy. These people that Jaune was looking at are different, vastly so.
Jaune approached the four and started checking them out. He was amazed. Their body density was around 3 or more times that of a human. Their strength comes from their biology rather than magical energy. Of course, due to this action, everyone in the room was spooked at Jaune's arrival.
"Fascinating! Your body composition is similar to humans," Jaune said. While still inspecting the four. "I have seen different races before, but this is the first time that I've seen a race that is physically strong due to their biology and not from magic".
"Who are you? And why didn't we feel your presence until you spoke?" Sif said. She then felt something odd from Jaune. He didn't feel like other people from Midgard. "You're not human".
"Huh? I am human," Jaune said. "Born and raised. You're the second person to believe that I'm not human".
"Excuse me? But who are you?" Jane asked. "What are you doing here?".
"Sorry for my lack of manners," Jaune said. "My name is Jaune Arc. I'm a traveller of sorts. I came to this New Mexico after reading about the hammer in the desert known as Mjolnir. I was interested in it as it is a magic weapon of immense power".
"How do you know of my hammer's name?" Thor asked. "I don't believe it is something that would be easily recognised".
"A friend of mine told me the name why I was analysing it the other day," Jaune said. "Feels quite amazing in hand. Very balanced. Though, as a war hammer, the length of the handle is quite short, and I nearly mistook it for a mallet".
"Y-You lifted it?!" Thor said in shock. "But that would mean you're…."
"Hmm…What are you talking about," Jaune said. "The hammer isn't that heavy".
"It isn't about the weight," Thor said. "Before my father sent me here, he enchanted the hammer. Only the worthy may wield the hammer. If you were able to lift it, then you're worthy".
While talking, Jane saw something in the distance. A storm cloud, however, something seemed to have been brought here by it. Everyone looked in the direction where Jane was looking and felt an ominous feeling.
"Is someone else coming?" Darci said. "Please tell me it's a friend of yours".
"No, we were the only ones to come," Sif said. "There shouldn't be anyone else".
In the distance, everyone saw an explosion. Thor, Sif, Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg recognised the suit of armour from afar.
"Jane," Thor said. "You have to leave".
"What are you going to do?" Jane asked. "Don't tell me you're planning on staying".
"You're right," Thor said. "I'm staying here".
"Thor?" Volstagg said. "You're going to fight with us?".
"My friends," Thor said. "I'm just a man. I'll just be in the way or worst, get one of you killed. But I can help get these people to safety".
"You don't have to worry about that," Jaune said. He then conjured portals and sent every person in town elsewhere. "That should do it. If you want, I can help you fight that thing".
"You're a sorcerer," Thor said. "An incredible one as well, but that thing coming isn't simple. My father made it to fight powerful beings that dare to enter the vault of Asgard. It's known as the Destroyer. It's been enchanted by my father's Odinforce, making it immensely powerful".
"Odinforce? What's that?" Jaune asked. "Also, I may be considered a sorcerer, but I'm not one to fight in the back. I'm a warrior as well".
This time, people are in danger. Although Jaune has already sent the people away, he knew if left alone, the Destroyer may endanger everyone. So, instead of using Arifar, Jaune took out Gáe Bolg.
"Now, are we going to fight this Destroyer or what?" Jaune said. "I may be human, but I'm no less powerful than you people".
Though Jaune said that, he knew that Sif and the Warriors Three were not on his level. As impressive as their body composition was, they were not at Jaune's level. Physical wise, Jaune was above them, and to top it off, his crazy power to wield magic and turn it into true magic makes him not their match.
Thor, Sif, Volstagg, Hogun and Fandral looked at the spear in Jaune's hand, and they knew it was special. Divinity, they felt it from the spear. A human possessing a spear with divinity is unthinkable for them.
