With Jaune, he was in a call with his parents and sisters. They discussed whether they should head to Vale to watch the Vytal Tournament in the coming few weeks.
"It's up to you whether you want to watch the match in person or on the Tv," Jaune said. "I'll be okay either way".
"Alright," Noah said. "I'll tell your mom that we're heading to Vale. Your younger sisters miss you. And Saphron and Terra's little man is also looking for you. Adrian's really taken a liking to his uncle. By the way, Jaune. Are you sure you're okay with only being an uncle?".
"That would be up to Saphron and Terra," Jaune said. "I'm okay if I only act like an uncle, but if they decided otherwise, I don't mind taking the role of a father since Adrian is biologically my son".
Later at night, JNPR, RWBY, Haruhime, Scáthach and Goose were in the same room having a slumber party for a successful first mission. They were eating pizza made by Jaune while watching Tv. That's when the news came on.
"Breaking News! Torchwick, the elusive thief from Mistral, has been killed at Mt Glenn yesterday," Lisa Lavender said. "It was said that he was working alongside the White Fang to bomb a section of Vale that was connected to an old railway from Mt Glenn. Thankfully, a Huntsman was able to put a stop to him and his nefarious plan".
"We spoke to the Huntsman that put a stop to Torchwick," Lisa Lavender said. "However, he said that he didn't want to talk about what happened, and it was confidential. We spoke to a specialist and learned that if the plan Torchwick had with the White Fang were to succeed, then the Grimm in the outskirt of Vale would bring about devastation. The lives that we all know would be gone. Thankfully, that was all avoided".
RWBY and NPR were watching the news, and they were wide-eyed. The man they were trying to look for is now dead. Blake was shocked at what the White Fang was planning.
"Oum! This is sad," Yang said. "I can't believe that uncle Qrow killed Torchwick".
"I know, right," Ruby said. "I knew that being a Huntress, I would have to someday take the life of a criminal to protect the innocent. But I don't think I'll be able to do it. It would be hard for me to take a life".
The others thought the same thing.
"Because taking a life shouldn't be easy," Jaune said. "If there is a time you find that taking a life is easy, then you know you've become the villain. It should never be easy to take a life, criminal or not. However, in the field, never hesitate to take the life of a criminal if it means saving yourself, the people or your team and friends. In the field, it's either do or die".
"Jaune, you sound like you've experienced what it means to take a life…." Pyrrha said. "Jaune, have you killed before?".
"I have," Jaune said. "The first time I took a life was when a few dozen bandits tried to raid my hometown. I had to kill them to protect my family. The path they were using was the area in the back of my family's house.
The first people they planned to kill was my family since my dad threatened their plan. I saw them try and enact their plan, but I killed them before they got close. I gave them a chance to leave, but they decided to attack. In the end, I won, and they died".
"I was also the one that killed Torchwick in Mt Glenn," Jaune said. "I was working with Qrow to check a rumour about suspicious activities in Mt Glenn. That's where we saw the White Fang, Torchwick and all the Paladin and Dust they stole".
"The White Fang was using the Paladin to load Dust on a train filled with bombs," Jaune said. "Qrow found out that they were planning to use the abandoned railway to create an opening for the Grimm to attack Vale".
"From there, it's everything the news said," Jaune said. "A few White Fang members were killed when they tried to attack Qrow and me. As for Torchwick, I had to make a quick decision. Let him escape and cause more havoc in the future or eliminate the threat. I chose to eliminate him".
"Y-You're serious," Ruby said. "Do you regret killing Torchwick?".
"I don't," Jaune said. "Because I know he wouldn't be a threat again. I know people would say that there would always be another to take his place. Well, even if I don't kill him, evil will still expand. At least with his death, that's one less evil to harm the people".
"That's dark," Yang said. "Yet, true. And it is something that we would experience in the future".
Anger. That's what Cinder is feeling right now. Torchwick was an essential part of her plan. Now, half her plan was trashed. Only the White Fang portion remains.
"How?!" Cinder shouted. "How did they learn of the Mt Glenn base? And how did they get taken down a single Huntsman?!".
Cinder was throwing a tantrum. She didn't know that Jaune was involved since Ozpin never gave details about him. Hence, Cinder's elevated anger.
"Ever since we got to Beacon, not nothing has gone my way!" Cinder shouted. "The CCTS failed to be put under my control! And now, Torchwick and his sidekick were taken down!".
"What are we going to do now?" Mercury asked. "Do we continue with the plan?".
"We are," Cinder said, still fuming. "However, we need to tweak it a bit since we couldn't hack into the CCTS. We also need to ask Taurus to increase the number of White Fang since we can't use the General's weapon against the people. We would also need to destroy the CCTS by hand since we can't let news of what happened to get out so that we can control the news".
The following morning with Jaune, he was looking at the Mystletainn. He was still suspicious of how Alice wanted him to activate the chainsaw with a bit of pushiness.
"Alice, tell me the truth," Jaune said. "What's the problem with this chainsaw".
[Mystletainn is a weapon wielded by a Masou-Shoujo, translating to Magical Girl. I wanted to see what it would look like when you're wearing a pink tutu]
"Aha! I knew something was wrong with this chainsaw!" Jaune said. "It's a good thing my instinct was sharp enough to realise something was wrong, or else I would be put in a dress like my younger days".
[It's not that bad]
"Hell no! It's bad!" Jaune said. "I'm never going to use that thing in my life! Alice, do you mind rolling the Gacha?".
[Gacha is now spinning]

"What the heck?" Jaune was confused. "Is this some sort of hammer that would help with making weapons?".
[It is. With this hammer, no equipment you make would be less than a Legendary rarity. It is even said that the hammer can produce Demi-God rarity equipment with enough control of the hammer and your blacksmithing skills]
"Now, that's pretty cool," Jaune said. "With this, I'll be able to make better equipment for the future".
"Maybe I should make some protective charm like those things in the comics that I read," Jaune said. "It'll take the damage for the person wearing it".
[Not a bad idea. This way, even if you're away from your family for an extended period, they would have something that would protect them. May I suggest you also add an enchantment that would inform you when the power of the protective charm is activated]
"Good, we can do that now," Jaune said. "What type of protective charm should I make? A necklace, bracelet, ring or earring. I think a ring or necklace would be the best since it would be the least bulky".
[By the way. What do you plan to do with Mystletainn? I know you wouldn't use it. Should I sell it in the store?]
"No, I think I can use it to mess with people," Jaune said. "Can you imagine Cardin or anyone in CRDL wearing a tutu? That'll be hilarious!".
After thinking about the type of protective charm to make, Jaune then proceeded to make them. He decided to make a different protective charm depending on his sisters. Jaune knew that the younger ones would not like to wear a ring. Therefore, they can have an earring.
