It has been a month since Blake's birthday. Jaune was walking in a forest. When he was finally out of the forest, Jaune looked at the sky and saw an anomaly. The clouds were forming a ring. This was the first time Jaune had seen something this beautiful in the sky. While looking at the sky, Jaune heard explosions, so he went and checked it out.

Jaune saw the cause of the explosion. It was from a girl with very revealing clothing, with her top being a white bra that is outlined with gold and exposes a bit of cleavage along with her lower back and stomach. On her bottom is a jewelled black-gold thong. She also wears a black stocking on her right leg that has golden ornaments, with her left ankle having a golden bracelet. Her left arm is outfitted with a black and gold glove that covers her forearm, while her left arm has a golden bracelet around her upper arm.

Jaune was going to approach the group of people, but the girl that caused the explosion left before he could meet with her. However, there was still the guy wearing a black shirt, white pants, a yellow scarf, and a girl wearing black armour with purple lining. Jaune approached them.

"Hello! Excuse me!" Jaune called out. "Do you mind helping me out? You see, I'm not from around here. I was hoping you know where the closes city is?".

"Huh?" Ritsuka and Mash said. They then saw Jaune, who was wearing modern clothing. Ritsuka then spoke. "Uhm…Who are you, and how are you surviving this era?".

"What do you mean surviving the era?" Jaune said. "As for who I am, my name is Jaune Arc. I'm here as a visitor of sorts".

"The Age of Gods is saturated with dense mana," Ritsuka said. "People of modern time can't survive this era unless you have a mystic code that would help with it".

"Scáthach," Jaune whispered in his shadow. "What is he talking about?".

"During the time of the Gods," Scáthach said. "The density of magic is so high that people from the modern world whose bodies have adapted to low mana density would pop like a balloon. Just like when you shot Roman Torchwick with the Dominator".

"How come I'm fine then?" Jaune asked. "I mean, Remnant is also a world where magic no longer exists like the old days".

"I don't know," Scáthach said. "Why don't you ask Alice?".

"Alice?" Jaune called. "Can you tell me the reason why nothing is happening to me?".

[That's because Jaune's body is no longer the same as it used to be. The moment you integrated the (Magic Talent – God) your body was modified to use True Magic. Hence, the mana density isn't doing anything to you as it doesn't even register its existence]

"Cool," Jaune said. "Would you have warned me of coming to this place if I didn't have (Magic Talent – God)?".

[Of course! I am within you. Your survival means my survival. I would be very dumb if I didn't warn you of your impending death]

"Good to know," Jaune said. He then looked at Ritsuka. "I'm just special, I guess. By the way, what are your names".

"Ritsuka Fujimaru," Ritsuka said. He then pointed at Mash. "This is Mash Kyrielight".

While Jaune was speaking to Ritsuka and Mash, demonic beasts surrounded them. Jaune took out Arifar and started killing the demonic beast. However, Ritsuka thought there were too much, and he shouted to Jaune to run away instead. Since Jaune didn't know where he was or where to go, he followed Ritsuka and Fujimaru.

While running, Jaune and the other's attention was brought to a man on top of a hill. This man then proceeded to kill the demonic beast around. The man in question looked like a sixteen-year-old androgynous person with long, beautiful hair that shimmers with a light-green colour.

"Master of Chaldea," the man said. "My name is Enkidu. I've waited in this Age of Gods for you to arrive. I believe I've nullified the demonic beasts in this area with the attack I did. That said, the smell of the blood of the fallen will draw more here.".

Jaune was looking at this Enkidu person. He realised that the name of his chain was Enkidu: Chains of Heaven, and it looked exactly like the one Enkidu used. Jaune was watching and learning the way Enkidu used the Chains of Heaven. He was actively copying the technique.

"Who are you?" Ritsuka said. Jaune was looking at him as if he was stupid. The man? Or is it a woman? Introduced themselves as Enkidu.

"Are you from this land?" Mash asked. Jaune thought her question was fair since there seems to be a way for other people in a different timeline to arrive in this era.

"I believe I've introduced myself," Enkidu said. "Isn't your mage quite versed about me?".

From within the wristband of Ritsuka, a man started talking.

"Y-Yeah," the man said. "I'm assuming you are the real Enkidu, correct? Oh boy, nothing less from the weapons of the Gods".

"Romani-san," Ritsuka asked. "What do you mean the weapons of the Gods?".

Jaune was listening in on the conversation. It's not like he was actively doing it. He just happens to be with them. Scáthach, though, was laughing at Jaune's expense since she could tell that Jaune felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave but couldn't as it would look suspicious.

"If King Gilgamesh, a mix of human and divine blood, is the wedge of the Heavens created by the Gods," Romani said. "Enkidu is the Chain of Heavens created to return Gilgamesh to the Gods".

The conversation went on. Jaune was looking for a chance to leave. However, he can tell that the person named Enkidu was watching his move. So, he had to stay. Eventually, Enkidu started to bring them to a location known as Uruk while explaining what he knew of the situation.

"Scáthach? I think I'm regretting my decision of coming here," Jaune said. "Also, for some reason, I don't trust this Enkidu person. He gives me a weird vibe".

"You and I both," Scáthach said. "Something isn't right about that guy. Keep your guard up".

"I wish I brought Goose with me," Jaune said. "That way, I can feed that man to Goose if he or she does something. I still have no clue if this person is a man or a woman. What do you think?".

"I have no idea," Scáthach said. "Why don't you try asking?".

In a forest, a white-haired man and a child with purple hair. The man looked up a bit and started speaking.

"Looks like he's here," the white-haired man said. "Humanity's final master. But what is this? Who is that? Why can't I see through him? What is he? Let's hope he's here to help".

Back with Jaune and the others. They were now in an area with a massive castle wall. Looking around the border, countless demonic beasts are attacking it.

"Are those demonic beasts from earlier," Ritsuka asked. Jaune was seriously questioning the guy's intelligence. Isn't it obvious? Why ask the obvious question when the answer is right in front of you? Jaune then sighed. Then again, he sometimes does the same thing, though to a minimal extent.

"That's not all," Mash said. "To the north, there are magical energy readings far greater! Unbelievable!".

"Are those castle walls keeping them in check?" Ritsuka said. Jaune facepalmed. Again, the man was asking the obvious question. The answer was right in front of him.

"Too early to be surprised," Enkidu said. "They have been holding that wall for six months already. The soldiers have been driving back an endless onslaught of demonic beasts. But the humans suffer fewer casualties than the demonic beasts".

Jaune felt that the wording of Enkidu was weird. Why did it feel like the words of Enkidu was rooting for the demonic beast? Jaune thought it was wrong. It felt like he was saying that he wanted more humans dead than demonic beasts. Instead of being thankful that the humans have fewer casualties, it felt like he was not satisfied.

"Scáthach?" Jaune called within his shadows. "The wording he said wasn't right".

"Correct," Scáthach said. "I don't think this man is who says he is. If you get a chance, try and probe him to see if he messes up. Then again, you aren't from this world and would find it hard to understand the details of this world's happenings".

After Enkidu and Ritsuka finished talking about the castle walls and the soldiers fighting, they made their way to Uruk. Now, they were in the forest.

"Enkidu-san?" Mash said. "We seem to be going farther away from Uruk".

"There is a wharf at the river up ahead," Enkidu said. "There is a boat docked there. Once we get to the wharf, all we have to do is take it downstream".

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a man with white hair comes out behind a tree. Ritsuka and Mash were suddenly in the attention of the man. However, Jaune knew that he was there from the start. He felt the presence of another individual, two, in fact. The cat or whatever animal it was with Ritsuka and Mash looked at this man with hostility. It seems to know the person.

"Sorry to scare you," the white-haired man said. The animal continued to stare at the man with menacing eyes. "I'm not an enemy, so, hear me out. As you can see, we didn't know our way through these trails and got lost. I didn't expect to see humans in the territory of the Goddess of Demonic Beasts".

"That's unfortunate," Enkidu said. "We're heading to Uruk. Will you come with us?".

"Of course!" the white-haired man said. "That would help us. Some strange fate must have brought us together. Can you tell us your name?".

Ritsuka, Mash and Jaune introduced themselves. However, Mash was the one to introduce Enkidu. Jaune saw that the white-haired man doubted the identity of Enkidu.

"That's a problem," the white-haired man said. "A big problem".

"Hmm…" Enkidu said. "Why is that?".

"That's because King Gilgamesh," The white-haired man said. "Who is commanding the front line in Uruk is the king who returned from his quest for the herb of immortality".

"Wait!" Mash shouted. "If so, it doesn't make sense!".

"That's right!" The white-haired man said. "He didn't set out on the quest until the death of his friend, Enkidu".

Jaune wasn't following anything about the history they were talking about. However, he was now sure that the person calling himself Enkidu was an imposter. He readied himself to take out Gáe Bolg in case a fight broke out. The white-haired man then stabbed his staff into the ground, and pink energy reverberates around it.

"And he's returned from the quest. It means that Enkidu has been long dead," The white-haired man said.

As soon as the white-haired man said those words, Enkidu charged up his attack in a split second and attacked, aiming for Ritsuka. Thankfully, Mash was able to protect him.

Enkidu then started laughing. He even called Ritsuka an incompetent fool of Chaldea. Jaune didn't know what that was, but he was inclined to agree. From the beginning, the man was asking questions with obvious answers.

Enkidu then started approaching Ritsuka, but the little girl with the white-haired man attacked from above before he could attack. However, it was useless as Enkidu was able to block it.

Enkidu then started firing a blast of light towards the child. Said child avoided the attack with ease, manoeuvring quickly away from it and blocking with her scythe. When she had the chance, she threw her scythe at Enkidu. However, it was blocked by a tree that he made.

The child then tried to approach Enkidu, but she was hit by a rock slab that came out from the ground. This threw her away from Enkidu. Ritsuka then shouted for Mash to engage Enkidu. Jaune was shocked since he thought that Ritsuka would be fighting alongside her.

"This is how fights normally are here," Scáthach said. "Fujimaru Ritsuka is a master. He commands and supply Mash with the mana she needs, but that's all he does. Ritsuka isn't going to be in the front line like you".

You may be asking why Jaune wasn't fighting? That's because the fighting happening is nothing more than an illusion. The white-haired man put up the illusion the moment he stabbed his staff into the ground. Jaune's illusion wasn't fighting due to the white-haired man not knowing how he fights. He can't create a believable illusion if he has no information on Jaune. So, he opted for Jaune to not fight in the illusion.

At the end of the 'fight', Mash and Ritsuka were confused about their current situation. They were even looking for Enkidu. Unlike them, Jaune knew that magic was being used the moment the spell was cast. From there, some shenanigans happened. The white-haired ma even introduces himself as Merlin and the child as Ana.

"Hold on a minute!" Romani shouted from the wristband for Ritsuka. "Did you say, Merlin? The great mage of the Isle of Britain, born of a human and an incubus! He guided Artoria Pendragon to the throne and served as the court mage! One of the world's greatest kingmakers and the world's biggest scoundrel! And as a Servant? Impossible!".

After clearing things up, Jaune and the others started making their way to Uruk. While making their way to Uruk, Merlin was curious about Jaune. His clairvoyance skill doesn't seem to work on the blond man.

"So…Your name is Jaune, right?" Merlin asked. Jaune nodded. "Where are you from? Not from this lands, I would guess, since your attire is different from the people here".

"Correct," Jaune said. "I'm here to visit this world. I come from a place far away".

"Visit?" Merlin was curious. "Why would you visit this place and this era?".

"For one, I did not choose the era. I was merely sent to this time," Jaune said. "And two, because I wanted to visit the world that my wife originated from".

"Quite romantic," Merlin said. "Unfortunately, this isn't the best time to be visiting. Can I ask? Who is your wife?".

"You're quite a curious man," Jaune said with a raised eyebrow. "But my wife's name is Scáthach".

Jaune then heard coughing from the wristband of Fujimaru. It seems like Romani was choking on something.

"T-That can't be!" Romani said. "Scáthach should be in the Lands of Shadow! There is no way you would have been able to meet her since the Land of Shadows has started to move towards the outside".

"You're right about that, I think," Jaune said. "However, what you perceive as impossible isn't always the case for someone else. Come on, Scáthach. Meet everyone".

Scáthach then came out of Jaune's shadow. Ritsuka and Mash were astounded to meet the God-Slayer.

"It's nice to meet you all," Scáthach said. "As my husband said. I'm Scáthach. Since my introduction is over, I'm heading back to the shadow of my husband".

"Is she really there?" Romani asked. "Was it really Scáthach?".

"We think so," Ritsuka said. "She was holding a red spear with her when she appeared. I believe it was a Gáe Bolg".

"What is happening," Romani said. "First the appearance of Merlin, now a man that is married to Scáthach. What is going on?!".

While Romani was contemplating, it was getting dark. Jaune and the others set up camp for the night and continued their journey the following morning. Jaune can't wait to kill the demonic beast he saw in the castle walls.
