A few days ago, Jaune finally learned why Ritsuka is in this era. According to him, they are in a state of Grand Order, the greatest of all Holy Grail Wars. Seven singularities are the cause of human extinction. It's the job of the Chaldea Security Organization to prevent this from happening. However, some time ago, almost all the chosen masters were incapacitated or killed. He, Ritsuka, is the last remaining master of humanity.
Even after knowing what's happening, Jaune can't do anything since he doesn't know how to help. He may be strong, but without knowledge of what he must do, strength is meaning at the moment. Jaune knew that the objective was to retrieve the Holy Grail from this era. However, they don't even know where it is.
Jaune, Scáthach, Ritsuka, Mash, Ana and Merlin were going to Kutha. Their mission objective is to retrieve the Tablet of Destinies. They were warned by Gilgamesh that this journey may be dangerous due to Kutha being in the territory of Goddess Ishtar.
It took them a few days to arrive at Kutha, but they made it. Along the way, they saw the destruction caused by Ishtar when she kills Demonic Beasts. Worse even is the fact that she takes the jewels of the people.
"Now, you see it there," Merlin said. "That's the city of Kutha".
"Just like what we heard," Mash said. "I don't sense anyone in the area".
"Not only that, but I don't sense any signal of Demonic Beasts," Romani said through Ritsuka's wristband. "They're showing no effort to infiltrate this area, either".
"Demonic Beast seem to be afraid to enter the city," Da Vinci said. "Though, we have no idea why".
"But well, it's dangerous to go into the city at night," Merlin said. "Let's camp out here for today".
Later in the night, Jaune and Scáthach were in their own tent. They were conversing about the information they got a few days ago regarding the Grand Order. Jaune asked Scáthach if she knew anything about it. Unfortunately, Scáthach doesn't, since she used to be in the Land of Shadow, which already started to drift outside the World.
Jaune was lying on Scáthach's thighs as he rested, ad Scáthach was even playing with his hair.
"This is getting more complicated," Jaune said. "Thankfully, Ritsuka and the people in the Chaldea Security Organization knows what they're doing. Unfortunately, the Holy Grail is still nowhere to be found. According to Merlin, the Holy Grail with Gilgamesh isn't the Holy Grail they're looking for".
"Knowing you," Scáthach said. "You're not going to leave this world until you at least help prevent this singularity from causing human extinction. At the very least, this war will give you a chance to get stronger. Plus, you get to learn how powerful Gods and Goddesses are".
"I met one goddess so far," Jaune said. "Though, she acted nothing like a goddess. I wonder if that's due to the human vessel it's inhabiting, or it's the way it is normally".
"Possibly due to the human vessel," Scáthach said.
"Oh, right," Jaune said. "I wanted to ask why you stopped staying in my shadows? It's been a while since you entered my shadows".
"I feel more comfortable being by your side," Scáthach said.
"I prefer this as well," Jaune said while he rolled his head in Scáthach's thighs. "By the way, Alice, since Ritsuka is nearby, I want to test out my theory of him being bad luck. I'll roll one close to him tonight, then in the morning, I would fly a few miles away and roll again".

"That's an awful draw," Jaune said. "Let's hope for a better one tomorrow".
Jaune and Scáthach then went to bed after conversing. On the other hand, Merlin was planning to mess with Jaune and Scáthach, but the moment he went near the tent, he was flung away. He couldn't feel the bounded field created by Jaune since it had no energy fluctuation.
The moment Merlin was flung, Mash, Ritsuka and Ana woke up and became alert, thinking they were under attack. But the moment they saw the state of Merlin, they knew that it wasn't a Demonic Beast. So, they ignored him and went back to bed. Next time, they plan to have someone else be the lookout.
The following day, Jaune and Scáthach woke up and got ready for the day. They have a bit more walking before they enter the city of Kutha. In reality, Jaune could have just flown there and opened a portal for everyone.
Jaune brought out his wings, flew a few miles away, and asked Alice to roll the Gacha. Jaune wanted to see if the bad rolls he's been getting in the past month have anything to do with Ritsuka. However, Jaune knew that it couldn't all be due to Ritsuka since he had times where he does get trash a few days in a row. Although, Jaune has never had an entire month of consecutive Trash rarity.

"Armour of Fafnir? Why is the picture of the card a tub with blood in it?" Jaune asked. "What kind of Armour is that?".
[(Armour of Fafnir – Legendary) is not a physical armour as you would think. Instead, it's the blood of the dragon known as Fafnir. Once Jaune baths in the blood of Fafnir and drank the blood, he would gain the body of a dragon.
Armour of Fafnir maybe Legendary in rarity. However, if Jaune bathed and drank the blood, it would not be considered Legendary as Avalon would remove the Impurities of Fafnir's blood, and the weakness of dragon Slaying attribute would be removed. Meaning you would gain the benefit of a dragon's body without its demerit.
This can only be achieved however, if Jaune activates Avalon's Embodiment of the World of Faeries before bathing and drinking the blood]
"How long do I have to bathe in the blood?" Jaune asked. "And will it alter the way I look? And can it be used more than ones?".
[You don't have to spend too long in the blood. A minute would suffice, but I suggest Jaune to make sure you have covered all your body with the blood or else you would gain a curse where you won't be able to cover the area of your weakness.
As for how many times you can use it, the limit is 15. The blood is finite. Therefore, it would run out eventually. So, choose wisely who you want to give the blood to.
Lastly, once you bath in the blood of Fafnir, you would gain a tan usually, but with Avalon, that would be removed]
"That's great! 15 usage is enough," Jaune said. "RWBY, JNPR, Haruhime, Scáthach, and Ritsuka. It makes 11 uses. That guy Ritsuka really needs assistance. At least with the Armour of Fafnir, he would be able to better protect himself rather than having to hide in the back all the time. As for the tan, hopefully, Ritsuka wouldn't care".
Jaune then flew back to camp. Ritsuka and Mash saw a figure flying towards them, and they got spooked. Mash took out her shield to protect Ritsuka from any incoming danger.
"You don't have to be on guard," Scáthach said. "That's Jaune".
"That's Jaune!" Ritsuka said. "But how?! I thought h said that he was human? If that's the case, then how does he have wings?".
"It's something Jaune calls an External Spirit Bones," Scáthach replied. "The External Spirit Bone that Jaune happens to have is a dragon wing. It allows him to summon a pair of wings that he could use to fly. It's normally hidden as a form of energy in his body until he wants to use it".
Not long later, Jaune landed in the camp. Ritsuka and Mash were looking at Jaune.
"What?" Jaune asked. "Is there something in my face?".
"More like your back," Merlin said. He was then looking at the wings on Jaune's back. He can tell that they are genuine dragon wings. "That's an interesting ability you have".
"Thanks?" Jaune said. "Anyway, before we enter Kutha. Ritsuka, do you want to bathe in the Blood of Fafnir?".
"Eh?" Ritsuka, Mash, Merlin and Romani were confused. Ritsuka then asked. "What do you mean?".
"You know, the blood of a dragon called Fafnir," Jaune said. "I have some of its blood. I was planning for Scáthach and me to bathe in it later. However, you, Ritsuka, need a way to protect yourself. With the blood of Fafnir, you would gain the ability to tank B rank and lower physical and magical attacks. This way, Mash and Ana can fight without the worry of you being hurt".
"Is it really the Blood of Fafnir?" Ritsuka asked. Jaune nodded. "Alright, I'll do it. I'll bath in the blood".
"Before that, I have to warn you," Jaune said. "Your skin would be tanned as proof of bathing in Fafnir's blood. I also have to warn you of being careful around dragon-slaying weapons. Then again, armour or not, you would still die if you were attacked by dragon-slaying weapons".
"You're right," Ritsuka said. "I'll gain dragon-slaying weapons as a weakness, but I'm already weak against it since I have no defence of any kind".
"Good!" Jaune said. Jaune then created a bounded field around them to dilute the mana density around them. He then took out the (Armour of Fafnir – Legendary). "Make sure that you cover your entire body in the blood, or else you would gain a curse where you can't cover your weakness".
"How long do I have to bath in it?" Ritsuka said. Jaune then brings raises his index finger. "An hour!".
"A minute," Jaune corrected.
Everyone then left the area where Ritsuka was bathing in the dragon's blood. Jaune thought he didn't want to soak in the blood since someone else bathed in it. But then, Alice told him that the blood would be cleansed when he turned it back into a card. So, there is nothing to worry about.
