Atlas. Weiss, Willow, Winter and Whitley were standing outside the headquarters of the SDC. Weiss doesn't have a clue as to what was going on. Her birthday was tomorrow, but Jaune told her to meet him at the entrance of the SDC building and bring her family with her.
Once Weiss arrived in front of the SDC with her family, she was surprised to see her sister as she knew she was busy with work. How Jaune could get her to come was unknown, but she knew Jaune had his way.
"Good, you're here," Jaune said. "Come on, let's head to the board conference room".
Jaune and the others entered the building, and the receptionist didn't even bother stopping Jaune as she already knew who he was. However, Weiss, Willow and Whitley were surprised that he wasn't stopped. As if his presence there were to be expected.
Once they arrived at the top of the building where the conference was, Jaune entered the conference room along with Weiss, Winter, Willow and Whitley. But first, Jaune used his magic to detoxify Willow, who was drunk.
"Huh? H-How did you do that?" Willow said. "And why did you do it?".
"Mrs Schnee," Jaune said. "Trust me, you're going to want to remember what's about to happen today".
"Hmph! I doubt it," Willow said. She used to love coming to this place when her father was the head of the SDC, but now, it just hurts being here as she couldn't protect her father's legacy. "Nothing that happens here is worth remembering. At least not anymore".
"I wouldn't say that until you find out what's about to happen," Jaune said. "Come on, enter with me".
Inside the conference room, Willow saw that there were no longer many shareholders. Their numbers can be counted in two hands. Willow was confused by this since there should have been more. But that's not the most shocking, Jacques was in the room, and he was not sitting in the seat designated for the head of the SDC. No, Weiss friend, Jaune, sat there. To say that Weiss and her family was shocked is an understatement.
"Mrs Schnee and the Schnee family are you may take your seats to my left," Jaune said. Weiss and her family did as Jaune said. "Let me introduce myself. MY name is Jaune Arc, and as of today, I'll be leading the SDC as its head.
I'm currently the majority shareholder of the company. From today onwards, all final decisions will be made by me. However, I am not above hearing all your suggestions. But first, there is a matter of Jacques Schnee…Sorry, I mean Jacques Gelé".
"How dare you call me that!" Jacques said. "I'm a Schnee!".
"Unfortunately, that's not the case," Jaune said. He then slid a file towards Jacques, who opened it and read it. "You should know what that is, right? That is the prenup you signed when you married into the Schnee family. Please read it carefully".
Jacques read the file but didn't understand what was being implied.
"What about it?" Jacques said. "If anything, this proves that I'm a Schnee".
"Was a Schnee," Jaune said. His scroll vibrated, and he read the message. Jaune looked through the window and signalled the people to enter. "If you read the files correctly, you should know that you will no longer be a Schnee".
Soldiers entered the conference room to arrest Jacques Gelé.
"Mr Gelé," Ironwood said. "You are hereby under arrest for illegal conducts within the SDC and many others".
"What?!" Jacques said. "Arrested for what exactly?!".
"Your criminal charges include assassination, blackmail, extortion, embezzlement, etc.," Ironwood said. "Need I continue?".
"You have no proof!" Jacques said. "I doubt the charges will stick! I'll have you know that the SDC has the best lawyers, and they can get me out of this mess!".
"Now, Mr Gelé," Jaune said while tapping the file he gave to Jacques earlier. "If you read the file I showed you earlier, you would understand a few things.
You are no longer a Schnee, for your marriage to Willow Schnee will be henceforth dissolved as per your prenup agreement. This is legally binding.
Two, due to you being arrested for illegal activities regarding the SDC, you are barred from using SDC resources. We will not be helping you fight your legal battles.
Three, since your marriage for Willow Schnee, has been dissolved, all SDC shares that you hold will be returned to their rightful owner, and that's Mrs…Sorry, Ms Willow Schnee".
Jacques looked at Jaune. He was thinking about why everything was not going well for him. Then it hit him. This was planned. The man known as Jaune seemed to know so much.
"You!" Jacques shouted at Jaune. "This was all planned by you, wasn't it?!".
"I don't know what you're talking about," Jaune said. "I didn't make you do any illegal activities. That was all your doing. I simply gave the evidence to Atlas Military General, Ironwood, about all the evidence I found".
"Who are you?! And why have you done this to me?!" Jacques said. "I have never met you before in my life".
"You're right," Jaune said. "But that's the thing, you may not have met me, but I met your daughter Weiss, and we became good friends. I've heard her plans to try and make the SDC better when she inherits it, but I thought I'll give her a hand".
"You did all this just for that waste!" Jacques said. He then tried to compose himself. "You said it yourself, Weiss wants to help the SDC become better! Without me, this company will be doomed! You have no idea why I did what I did!".
"Oh, but I do. And it's for that reason, I decided to intervene," Jaune said. "Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! You embezzled so much money that the company is barely running. You've enslaved and tortured Faunus because you have no way of hiring miners since you have no money to pay them.
I've researched everything about the SDC before buying the majority of the SDC's share. I don't know if you've noticed, but all the board members sitting here are the people who genuinely wish to better the SDC while getting rid of your illegal activities.
Let me give you some advice Mr Gelé. Once you're being processed in the Atlas prison and they give you one phone call, I suggest you contact a lawyer that isn't connected to the SDC as they're the only one that will help you. And don't even bother calling your cohorts to save your ass because they're having the same issue as you are right now".
"I'll make you pay for all this!" Jacques said. "Make no mistake, you'll regret what you've done to me!".
"I look forward to your retaliation," Jaune said. "But I suggest you make your plans count since you'll probably only have one chance to achieve it. If you fail, you'll have no more chances".
Jacques was then taken away. All the remaining board members looked at Jaune. They've tried many years to get Jacques arrested for all the illegal activities, but they couldn't find any evidence. If they did find evidence, their family was threatened by Jacques.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Willow laughed to her heart's content. "I must say, Jaune, is it? You're right. This was something I would love to remember".
"Don't mention it," Jaune said. He then looked at Weiss. "I hope you like the display".
"Like? No, I loved it!" Weiss said. "I've never seen Jacques act that way before. He was vulnerable throughout the display".
"You have to be careful about his retaliation," A board member said. "We've tried for years to get rid of him, but he always comes out on top. You know he has a lot of money hidden away. Jacques will use that to attack you where it hurts the most".
"Oh, you have nothing to worry about," Jaune said. "I knew that he is sly. So I worked hard to find all his funding sources. I'm happy to tell you that he has zero money in any of his bank accounts".
"Jaune? How long have you been planning this?" Weiss asked. "The amount of time you need to plan something of this level would be somewhere between a few months to a few years".
"No worries," Jaune said. "I only used a few days to plan all this".
Everyone in the room manically laughed at Jaune's words. A few days? They took years to try and take down the human scum, and they accomplished nothing. And here is a young man that only took a few days of planning, and he accomplished so much.
