While R.W.B.Y.J. the second is eating, they also explained the happenings of their world to Jaune. Jaune listened to everything they said, from the time of the Vytal Festival to two years to their future when they started working as a licenced Huntsman.
"Well, that's our story," Ruby-II said as she chowed down on the steak that Jaune cooked for her. "How about you? When is the Vytal Festival? Because that's when everything starts to go downhill".
"The Vytal Festival happened months ago," Jaune said. Ruby-II dropped her steak. "None of the things that happened to your Remnant happened here. I think I might have inadvertently stopped the fall of Beacon".
"What do you mean?" Yang-II asked. "How did you inadvertently stop Cinder and her pose from invading Beacon?".
"Well, it was due to the time Blake ran away from team RWBY when she accidentally ousts herself as a former White-Fang member," Jaune said. "I hacked the CCTS to find the location of Blake. But after doing so, I decided to upgrade the system of the CCTS as a thank you for its service in locating Blake. It was enough to fight back against the virus you guys are talking about".
"You hacked the CCTS?!" Weiss-II said. "It's one of the most advanced systems there is! Cinder had to physically connect her scroll to hack into the system".
"Really? You call the CCTS the most advanced system?" Jaune said. "It was child's for me to hack into. It took me no more than a minute to access all systems".
"Oh, my Oum! I just realised!" Ruby-II said. "How are we getting back home?! We fell through a portal to get here! That portal is now gone!".
"Relax," Jaune said to calm down Ruby-II. "If it's a way home you need, I have a way to get you back".
"Great!" Yang-II said. She then smiled. "Then after eating, send us back".
"Do you think that's a good idea?" Jaune said. Everyone then looked at him. "You go back to your Remnant, and then what? You have no way of beating an Immortal Witch. DO you even have a weapon against her? Do you have any knowledge of a way to stop her? My guess is no, right?".
"We have no choice," Blake-II said. "Whether we have a way or not, we need to go back to help all the people that are counting on us".
"Don't get me wrong," Jaune said. "I'm not saying that I won't send you back, and knowing all your personality, you would definitely go back to help the people. That's who team RWBY has always been. I said what I did because you can use this chance to train and gain the strength to defeat Salem. While you're here in this version of Remnant, your world is in stasis".
Jaune wasn't lying. He spoke to Alice and asked her to analyse and find R.W.B.Y.J. the second's world and see if it was in stasis, and to his surprise, it was.
"You mean that time is stopped as long as we're here?" Ruby-II asked. Jaune nodded at her. "This…This is a great opportunity to train, then maybe we could get strong enough to beat Salem before heading back!".
"If you like," Jaune said. "I know a person willing to help you train, but you can't complain when she's training you, and her training is brutal".
"That'd be great!" Ruby-II said. "Is this person strong?".
"Oh, she's strong, alright," Jaune said. "Let's just say that your counterpart in this world had their collective ass kicked by her simultaneously, including Nora, Ren and Pyrrha".
"P-Pyrrha! She's okay in this world!" Jaune-II shouted. He then calmed himself. "Sorry! I forgot you said that the fall of Beacon didn't happen, meaning Pyrrha's death didn't occur".
"No, problem," Jaune said. "You don't have to worry about it".
It took a while to calm Jaune-II down as the prospect of meeting Pyrrha, even if it's not his Pyrrha, made him hyperventilate. Jaune saw just how much Pyrrha meant to him. Then and there, he decided to give an item to Jaune-II to use, but he will give it later when he finishes his training with Scáthach.
"Ahem! Anyway, we talked about getting training from some you know," Weiss-II said. "Who exactly is this person?".
"Her name is Scáthach," Jaune said. "She's one of the strongest people I know, and she also happens to be my wife".
"Eh? …Eh?!" Everyone was shocked. It was also here that Willow decided to come and speak with Jaune.
"Jaune? I had a lovely lunch, but I need to get back to Atlas," Willow said. She then saw her daughter? But she realised that this might have to be something crazy as the Weiss she was looking at is older. "Hello there, I'm guessing weird shenanigans are happening here?".
"Pretty much," Jaune said. "Anyways, here you go. I'll meet with you later once I deal with this matter".
Jaune opened a portal for Willow to return to Atlas.
"I'll see you later," Willow said. She then looked at R.W.B.Y.J. "Goodbye, and I hope whatever matter you have to be resolved".
Willow entered the portal then it closed. Weiss-II was eying Jaune. Willow just said that she had lunch with him in his house. That's sus right there!
"Holy smokes!" Yang-II said. "Jaune had a date with Weiss' mother from this world!".
"I-I…I can't believe this!" Weiss-II said. "That's so weird!".
Weiss-II then looked at Jaune-II.
"Don't look at me!" Jaune-II said. "I don't have a thing for your mother!".
"Damn!" Yang-II said. "Jaune of this world got game!".
"Yang! That's not the important thing," Blake-II said. "If you remember, Jaune said that he's married".
"Oh, shoot! You're right!" Yang-II said. "Damn! This world's Jaune is a cheat!".
"What the hell are you talking about?" Jaune said. "I wasn't on a date with… Willow. Oh, my Oum! That was totally a date, wasn't it?!".
"That took you a while to figure out," Scáthach, who came to the room, said. "Let me guess, you didn't even know that Willow had the hots for you".
"What?! She does?!" Jaune said. "Since when?!".
"I would say right around the time of Weiss' birthday," Scáthach said. "So, for around a month now. I'd say she's quite bold".
"Wait," Jaune said. "How did you know she has a thing for me since Weiss' birthday?".
"Simple," Scáthach said. "I went and talked to her. She told me that she hasn't felt the way she felt with you for years. It was I who recommended her to pursue her feelings. Willow hasn't had a good life, and I thought you might be able to change that".
"Did you just set me up with my friend's mother?!" Jaune said. "Why would you do that?".
"Hush now," Scáthach said. "Don't think I don't know your preference for mature women like Willow and Glynda".
"Whaaaaaat? …I don't know what you're talking about!" Jaune said. "I have no such preference!".
"Oh, please," Scáthach said. "You know that I spent a long time staying in your shadows. I see everything you see when I stay in your shadows. That means I see it when you sneak a peek on Glynda when she bends over".
"H-Hold on!" Jaune said. "You see everything I see when you're in my shadows?! That's just a breach of privacy!".
"There is no longer privacy between us when our life-force has become intertwined," Scáthach said. "No, privacy".
"Are you okay with this?" Jaune asked. "Willow trying to seduce me".
"I already made peace with you having women flock you long ago," Scáthach said. She then had an evil smirk. "Though, I will weed out all those that aren't qualified to be with you in my eyes".
"You know what, I'll go with the flow," Jaune said. "If something happens between Willow and me, I'll do everything I can to make her happy".
"Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Scáthach laughed. "Oh, Jaune. I love you and all, but you are dense. It's not only Willow that's after you. You know that, right?".
"Who else?!" Jaune asked. Scáthach just raised her eyebrows and ignored Jaune. "Oh, come on! It would be easier if you just tell me!".
"It would, but I want you to figure that out yourself," Scáthach said. "Especially when the girls are trying their best to get your attention on their own".
Jaune decided to drop the subject for now and faced R.W.B.Y.J. the second and continued their previous conversation.
"Dude?!" Yang-II said. "Are you really just going to ignore what just happened?".
"There is nothing I can do," Jaune said. "Scáthach decided to not tell me who they are, and there is no changing her mind. I should try and figure it out myself".
"I know one that might have a thing for you," Jaune-II said. "P…".
Jaune-II couldn't say anything before he got knocked out by Scáthach. He didn't even see her. The others that saw what happened decided not to open their mouths after Scáthach glared at them. RWBY the second just stared at Jaune-II, who was on the floor with his mouth foaming.
