It was time. The final fight against Salem…in a few hours…for this version of Remnant that is.

In truth, Alice told Jaune that Salem was different in his world, a shift from the Remnant that he is currently staying in.

"Really?!" asked Jaune. He was shocked to hear such information from Alice. "How different are we talking about?".

[Very. Although Cinder planned to attack Vale the same way as this world, it was not the order of Salem. It was a plan made by Salem before the changes happened]

"Changes? What do you mean?" asked Jaune. He was confused. From the way Alice worded it, Salem was the same way as the Salem in the Remnant he is in. "What is the cause of the change?".

[Quite frankly, you]

"Me! What did I do? I swear! I never fraternise with the enemy!" said Jaune. He then remembered Tiamat. But she was no longer the enemy! Also, for some reason, the first thing that went to his mind is that he fraternised with the enemy. Weird, but understandable. He found Salem…hot.

[I never said anything about that. But yes. You do fraternise with the enemy this time. Except, you haven't done so, yet]

"Huh? If I haven't done anything yet, but it already happened to Salem, does that mean I go back in time?" asked Jaune. He was sure it has something to do with time travel. It was the only logical conclusion! "I know I shouldn't be this excited, but I am! Can you imagine? Time travel!".

The excitement that Jaune was feeling was evident in the smile on his face. He knew that he shouldn't smile at such a thing since it was the enemy that he was going to travel in time for.

While Jaune was thinking about why he would go to the past in the first place, he remembered that he needed to bring the others that headed to other places back to Vacuo.

Namely, RWBY-II, JNPR-II, Summer, Qrow, and Tai, since Summer wanted him to be responsible and fight alone side his daughters. Raven, I don't get it, but Summer requested it.

Glynda wanted to be in the forefront of this war, no more managing on the side-line, but then again, Jaune thought it would be better for her to stay in Vale as he knew that Salem would have felt the decline of Grimm searching for the Relic. Thus, more Grimm might be sent to Vale.

There were others, but they aren't all that important such as Mulberry, Peach, etc.

Jaune cracked his neck and got ready for the long day of bringing everyone back to Vacuo. Then again, some of them, he didn't plan to bring back personally. No, others would be brought back by the Iron Destroyer.

"Heh! I wonder how they would react. They reacted quite marvellously when they met Sylvia," thought Jaune. It was quite a guilty pleasure for him, shocking people that is. "Hmm…? I wonder how the Glynda in my world would react if I told her straight that I have a thing for her? I'm pretty sure that she has the hots for me. Hmm…Should I ask her out? I mean, I already have Scáthach and Willow. Do I want to add another? Ah! Screw it! I'll leave it alone and see how things develop. If there is something between us, then it would naturally flow in that direction. Then again…".

Jaune was being indecisive. To combat this and forget about it, for now, he headed to Argus, the City in Mistral that is connected to Atlas.

The city of Argus. Jaune hasn't been to Argus since Saphron, Terra and Adrian moved into the house he bought for the family. Nonetheless, the place felt nostalgic. After all, this was the place Jaune first met Pyrrha Nikos.

All was good until Jaune turned a corner and saw the statue of Pyrrha. Looking at it made Jaune uneasy. He couldn't imagine what it would have been like for the Pyrrha of this world to see her statue honouring her death.

Jaune shook his head. No matter what happens, he would do everything in his power to protect the people he cares about. Even if it means doing something drastic and unheroic.

Jaune then left the statue and headed to this world's Saphron and Terra.

Why them instead of Pyrrha? Simple, Jaune didn't know where Pyrrha lives, he's never been to her house before. So, he headed to Saphron and Terra's home, hoping that Jaune-II is there so he can ask him where Pyrrha lived.

Once Jaune arrived at Saphron and Terra's place, he knocked on the door and waited. Not long later, Saphron opened the door and her jaw dropped. Jaune-II told her stories of his adventures in another Remnant, but she was sceptical about it. However, with another Jaune in front of her, there was no longer any doubt in her mind. Hence her jaw drop as she was shocked.

"Hello, there!" Jaune said. "Is Jaune-II here?".

"Y-Yeah, he's currently playing with Adrian in the living room," Saphron said. She then composed herself and looked at Jaune with interest. "This is so surreal! Another Jaune, another version of my brother! Is it true that you're the father of Adrian in your world?".

"Yup!" Jaune said. He was going into dad mode and was starting to enter a state where he wants to brag about his child, but he knew that he couldn't waste time now. So, he sighed. "As much as I want to talk about my little boy, I'm pressed for time".

"R-Right! Sorry about that," Saphron said. She remembered that her brother was out saving the world and he only came for a short visit. "Come in and I can call Jaune-II for you".

Jaune entered the house. Looking around, he saw Jaune-II with Adrian. It seems like he was taking the role of father figure for Adrian seriously.

When Terra saw Jaune, her reaction was like Saphron. She was not as sceptical as Saphron, but she still had doubts about another version of Remnant because that would mean the Multiverse Theory is a thing.

Jaune-II put Adrian down and he saw Jaune.

"Nice clothes," Jaune-II said. "When did you get that?".

"You know, you've seen me take hundreds of things out of thin air," Jaune said. "What made you think this robe is new?".

"I have no idea, but I just thought that it was new," Jaune-II said. "Oh well. So, are we going to fight Salem soon?".

"If what the psychotic Faunus I caught said is true, then we have a few days left," Jaune said. "That's why I'm picking up you and the others for the final confrontation. We either win this, or we all die. But I have no desire to die now".

"Pfft! Die? Really?" Jaune-II said. "I've seen you do things more impressive than Salem. Plus, you told me you have that spear that can kill immortals".

"True, but you should never underestimate your enemies," Jaune said. "You don't know if they have some tricks up their sleeve that might catch you off guard".

"That's true," Jaune-II said. "So, what's the plan?".

Jaune explained to Jaune-II what it was that he got planned for Salem.

Jaune-II nodded and went along with Jaune to Pyrrha's house to pick her up.

It didn't take long before both the Arcs arrived at the home of Pyrrha Nikos.

Jaune decided it was best for Jaune-II to be the one to knock on the door. It was only logical since he is the one that is connected to Pyrrha.

As Jaune-II knocked, Dahlia's voice was heard.

"Hold on! I'm coming to the door!" shouted Dahlia. She had issues with the intercom. Last time, she tried speaking through it, but the delivery man left since there was no answer from her. Hence, the shouting. As she opened the door, she saw Jaune-II, but then on her immediate right, there was another Jaune. "Huh? So, the story was true!".

"Mom! We wouldn't lie about something like that! Also! I was brought back to life!" shouted Pyrrha. She was walking to the door alongside her mother. "Is the multiverse less believable to you than me coming back to life?!".

"Well…no. But that was because you had proof from the words of your father in the afterlife," said Dahlia. She only believed that the Pyrrha in front of her was her daughter thanks to the instinct of a mother, and the words that were given to Pyrrha by her late husband. It was something only they knew the meaning of. "But, hey! Now, there is proof that the multiverse exists! There are two Jaune Arcs in front of me!".

"We could have been twins, you know," said Jaune. He looked at the eccentric mother in front of him. It made him smile and Dahlia reminds him of his mother. Jaune then joke. "Then again, I can't blame you for not thinking that we are twins. I mean, come on!".

"Hey! Come on! Done make a joke like that!" said Jaune-II. He grumbled a bit. He has been teased with the same material for quite some time now. "You could at least be original".

"Original, huh? Is that why you decided to have bananas for hair?" asked Jaune. He found that hairstyle hilarious. Jaune then wondered. "Would Sun try to pluck his hair if he saw them? It does look awfully like a banana".

"Hey! That's kind of stereotypical of you," said Jaune-II. "Not all monkey Faunus are into bananas".

Jaune looked at Jaune-II with a raised eyebrow.

"Okay, first of all, the way you said it sounded sexual," said Jaune. "Secondly, we are talking about Sun, the monkey Faunus who has bananas in his pocket all day long. How he stores it in his pocket, I don't know. I swear, I saw him take out at least seven bananas in a single hour!".

"Okay, fair," said Jaune-II. There was no arguing with the way Sun is. "But, come on! Sun isn't that stupid!".

"I don't know," said Jaune. Yes, Sun isn't stupid, but it would be hilarious if it did happen. "I just really wanted to see if your hair would have been pulled out in a bundle, like a bundle of bananas".

Jaune was laughing hard. It sounded hilarious.

Jaune-II rolled his eyes. He now hated his previous haircut. If he could, he would erase it from people's memories. Funnily enough, Jaune would have been able to help he knew that Jaune had Runes of Kauf-Kaul.
