Long ago, in a galaxy far far away, during the clone wars, a group of elite clones designated clone force 99 or Bad batch, took in a non-clone whom would later become the heavy gunner of the group codenamed Outrider. When the war came to an end Outrider convinced Crosshair to leave the newly formed empire after Kamino's destruction. And now the bad batch is on the run. However, they would soon find themselves on a planet far from the reaches of the empire called Remnant and a new home…

"I don't know how you do it Outrider." Wrecker said looking to his ARF trooper teammate. "guess I have good charisma. Better than Omega's." Outrider said as an indignant cry of annoyance was heard. "He's just better at that kind of thing omega, don't let it get to you." Hunter said passing the heavy gunner. "I'm just messing with you squirt. You got heart." The ARF trooper said.

"Whatever, so where are we going?" Omega asked. "hopefully, far from the empire." A voice said. the present members turned to see a slightly scarred Crosshair. "I don't like being here as much as you do, but thanks to outrider's persistence I am." The former elite trooper and once again clone force 99's sniper said

"Hunter, I have to ask, why does outrider always have his helmet on?" omega asked. "Cause kid," Outrider said removing his ARF helmet. "I'm not a clone. Due to the fact that we're alone with no jedi commander or general, I can finally have this damn this off."

Outrider walked into the cockpit. "So, we're headed back to Cid, Tech?" he asked. "Of course, we have a new profession as mercenaries. Using our skills is beneficial in that field of work." Tech replied. "Good thing too. You can be a bit trigger happy." Echo scoffed. "well, at least he isn't an explosive nut like Wrecker.

"Hey what's that nebula called?" outrider asked. "Interesting, that nebula doesn't appear to be on any star charts. "Tech said going through republic and separatist star charts. "What isn't on a star chart?" hunter asked as he, Wrecker, Crosshair, and Omega enter the cockpit. "That." Outrider said pointing at the mysterious nebula.

"It's kind of pretty." Crosshair said getting looks from the rest of the bad batch. "What, well one of you were going to say it." Echo then noticed something "um, fellas. Is it just me or are the stars beginning to stretch?" "We're going into a random jump!" Hunter yelled. The marauder jumped to an unknown location never to be seen or heard from again.

The marauder dropped out of hyperspace in front of a planet with what appeared to be a shattered moon. "Where the hell are we?" Echo asked. "this planet isn't on any galactic star charts." Tech said. "I think we're about to have an adventure guys." Outrider said putting his helmet on. "Tech… take us in." tech looked to hunter, who merely shrugged.

Emerald Forest

The marauder touched down in a clearing. "So, where are we?" Wrecker asked. "In a forest, where else?" Crosshair said in a smartass tone. "What's the plan Hunter?" Tech asked as Outrider left their ship carrying his Z-6 rotary cannon. "We secure the perimeter." Hunter said. "What about outrider?" Crosshair asked. The group turned to see the heavy gunner turn to look over his shoulder. "Scouting. Wrecker, you coming?" outrider asked. Wrecker nodded.

"So, where are we going exactly?" Wrecker asked as he, and Outrider strolled through the woods till the sound of gunfire was heard. "What the hell?" the muscle of the bad batch exclaimed before Outrider took off sprinting.

The came to a clearing to see a golden blonde girl backing away from what appeared to be black creatures with red eyes and markings. "Wow, look at that guy go." Wrecker said getting a ludicrous from Outrider. "Wrecker, that's a girl." The non clone trooper said. "Tell hunter we've found an armed civilian need of aid." Wrecker looked to the heavy gunner as he approached the battle. "how is she a…" he began to ask as a loud bang was heard. "evidently, there are guns in her gauntlets." Outrider said. "time to let Old reliable do the talking."

Yang wasn't having a good day. First, her sister, Ruby disappears a day before the two depart for beacon and as she's looking for her a large amount of Grimm ambush her. 'God damn it Ruby I swear when I find you I will give you a scolding you won't forget.' She thought before being knocked down and pinned by an ursa.

"I guess this is it. I won't get to see the world. And I won't be able to get answers." Yang muttered before a voice rang out. "Step away from the woman!" Craning her neck, yang saw a figure decked out in a black/dark grey strange looking set of armor while holding what appeared to be a chain gun. 'idiot.' She thought. "What are you uglies waiting for, COME AND GET ME!"

The Grimm holding her down charged at the stranger as he leveled the chain gun and walked towards the charging Grimm. The chain gun fired and instead of bullets it fired blue energy bolts. 'If Ruby were here, she'd be fangirling.' Yang thought. Even she thought the chain gun was bad ass. Not wanting to be left out, yang got up and started to blast any Grimm that got close to her.

MEANWHILE

Wrecker rushed back to the marauder breathing heavily. "Wrecker, what's wrong?" omega asked "Where's outrider" everyone looked to the heaving clone. "Helping…. A civvie… fight off… some weird… creatures." Wrecker said jabbing a thumb behind him. The rest of the squad looked at each other. "Best make sure he doesn't get himself killed." Hunter said as he and the rest of the bad batch headed off to battle. "Oh, and the civvie's a girl with shotgun gauntlets." Wrecker said. "A girl? Great." Crosshair said sarcastically as all but omega groan.

"What's wrong?" she asked. "Outrider's probably going to ask her out." Tech said while they jogged. "Is that a bad thing?" Hunter looked at her. "not quite, every girl he's asked turned him down. It breaks his heart every time." He said.

"That's the last of them." Outrider said as Old Reliable slowed down. "thanks for the help. If you'll excuse me I'll be going." Yang said as she began to walk off. "Where are you going?" the non-clone asked. "To find my…" yang started to say before a voice said in a disappointed tone.

"Ah come on! The party's over." The blonde brawler turned to see five adults and one kid approach. The big one had been the one to voice his disappointment. "Area's secured hunter. But the civvie isn't going back home." Outrider said. Yang raised an eyebrow. "Who the hell are you guys?" she asked. The man with a tattoo looked at her.

"We miss are Clone Force 99, but you can call us The Bad Batch." He said

A/N: And so, marks beginning of the second Bad batch crossover fanfic ever. I'm surprised as well. Anyways I had been waiting to do a fanfic with the bad batch. Originally, after season 7 of Clone Wars had released, I had planned to have them in the Lost Legion story series, but the Echo in that series didn't get "killed" at the citadel. I was excited to hear that this group of clones would be getting their own show which season 1 ended yesterday. But the question remains, why is Yang out in the woods by herself.
