Wrecker shifted his feet facing roman while Neo got up with some difficulty. 'That man sure is bulky and slightly attract… no bad neo. He attacked your Dum Dum.' The heterochromatic woman thought. "Your move red head." Wrecker said with a cocky tone. Roman charged with his cane only for the gentle giant to punch him away.
Neo rushed towards Wrecker, but was intercepted by yang. "Your fight's with me." the blond brawler said. Neo smirked before looking at the heavy gunner of bad batch. "Now that's a man I'd like to love over my Dum Dum.' She thought. Yang followed her gaze wondering why she had the look of having a crush.
Her eyes widened and turned red when she saw who the heterochromatic woman was eyeing. "You bitch!" the blond brawler yelled gaining the others' attention. Neo glanced at her with a stunned look. "THAT'S MY BOYFRIEND YOU'RE EYEING." Yang yelled punching her. The petite woman was sent flying into a wall. "Neo!" Roman yelled as his partner got up wiping some blood off her mouth. Neo looked up at yang with an expression of fear.
Wrecker slid his helmet up so his face was visible. "Holy shit! Outrider, your girlfriend is PISSED." The gentle giant said looking at Yang. "what set her off?" Hunter asked. "that woman was probably eyeing Outrider." Ruby said facepalming.
"Yang, she isn't worth it." Outrider said placing a hand on his pissed off girlfriend's shoulder. Yang glanced at Outrider with flames dancing around her eyes. The heavy gunner lifted his helmet's faceplate. The pissed off blond's expression softened. "W-what a-a-are y-y-you?" a hoarse voice asked. Yang and outrider turned to see the woman cough up blood before passing out.
"This is where we part red." Roman said pressing a button on a device. "That's a detonator. Outrider, yang get out of there!" Echo yelled as several explosives went off making part of the area they were standing tilt. "Kriffing hell." Outrider said taking yang's hand and running away from the collapsing cliff face. Wrecker noticed Neo begin to tumble towards the edge.
"Damn it." He said rushing towards the unconscious woman diving to grab her hand. "Gotcha." Wrecker gently pulled her up and into his arms as Hunter picked up the umbrella the woman had been using. "Her weapon is an umbrella?" he pondered out loud. "it's actually a parasol." Weiss said.
HOURS LATER
Neo slowly came to feeling an ice cold cloth on her head. 'what the devil happened?' she thought taking the cloth off her head. "Good to see that you're conscious." A voice said. neo turned to see the white armored member of the so called Bad Batch. "You're very lucky Wrecker got to you in time. Otherwise, you'd have perished."
Tech looked over to hunter and outrider. "She's awake." He said. "Good. Maybe she could enlighten us as to why they were following us." Hunter said as outrider handed a scroll to 'talk' to them with. "ok, why were you following us? Was it out of curiosity or just to harass us." Neo glared at him. She typed something on the scroll before showing it to them.
"As if I'd tell you lot what Roman and I were doing." She said before flipping them off. Hunter frowned as Outrider sighed. "Well, Roman won't or rather he can't talk to us." He said holding out roman's hat. Neo's eyes widened before looking at the heavy gunner.
"When we tried to apprehend him, some rubble fell onto him and well…" Outrider said looking at something. Neo followed his gaze and saw a cloth covered body with a certain ginger's gloved hand sticking out. "He was dead when we dug him out. I'm so sorry."
A lone tear fell down Neo's cheek before she felt a hand touch her shoulder. Looking back at the two, she saw that the hand belonged to the man that shoulder tackled roman. "Just tell us why you were following us and we'll let you go in the morning." Wrecker said. "We were just following to see what you were up to. Nothing malicious, I swear." Neo said using the scroll. "Well, it is malicious if you set yang off." Hunter said glancing at the sleeping blond.
"THAT WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING, I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS ALREADY WITH SOMEONE!" Neo said with a panicked expression. "rest up. I don't know where you'll go after this, but you need the energy." Outrider said. "One last thing," Wrecker asked gaining the petite woman's attention. "What's your name?" Neo blinked at the question but answered "it's Neopolitan, but I prefer to be called Neo." She typed out. Wrecker nodded before lifting Neo's head up and sliding something underneath. "A pillow?" neo pondered while the gentle giant laid down.
Meanwhile
Adam and merlot watched as a few white fang soldiers helped the girls, save for one, walk to the barracks "So, what are our orders sir." A voice asked. Adam turned to face the girl known as HC-003. "For now. Rest." The bull fauna turned to look at HC-003. The girl had the appearance of a certain fauna he used to like…. that fauna's name was Blake Belladonna.
