Chapter 15: the Riddle
The scene start with Daniel reading the book again , as Weir enter his room .
Weir: I hope you got something for us
Daniel : no , nothing so far.
Weir: Atlantis seemed a bit off when you mentioned that ancient. Don't you think.
Daniel : I don't know I guess. Maybe she have something on her mind.
Loki enter the room , and look at Daniel .
Daniel : um , hi , any news.
Loki : I hear Atlantis saying you was looking for me .
Daniel : um… me? She said that …. I guess.
Loki: something to do with help with a riddle.
Daniel : well I don't know what the riddle is yet, but …
Loki: what is that book you are reading?
Daniel: actually it is some sort of children tales called the Voyages of Odin. How he passed tests and obstacles to become a God like .
But till now we don't know what this riddle is yet to know where to start .
Loki: I think the problem here is easy ,
Weir: how so.
Loki : well the tale speak of Odin voyages. A person , a Hero who became a God.
Daniel : yes but we cant know if what is said is true or not or just metaphors.
Loki : well, … first of all , if we are going to trace it. Who is our ODIN?
They look at each other .
Weir: what you mean our ODIN?
Loki : well let us say we found the first step , then the other … the tale speak of Odin becoming a GOD , who will be our ODIN here.
Daniel : we need a champ , someone to receive the blessing of the Gods to be come a God .
Weir: you mean it is not about solving the riddle , it is about turning someone into a god?
Daniel : yes.. I think so ,
Weir: who would not want to become a God? I mean. Who among us?
Daniel : I don't know , you think Merlin thought of that too before he put this information with us?
Weir: I don't know but till now things has led to another in a systematic way , I have a feeling it will present itself when the time come.
Atlantis appear
Atlantis : I have located the planet in question.
Atlantis wave her hand and show a large planet.
Daniel : I think Loki is right , who will be our ODIN , or Hero !
Atlantis : the planet initial scan don't show any life sign , ancient or not.
Daniel : maybe in this reality , Odin don't exist.
Weir: every time , we think we find something , a step , an idea, … something happen to shatter our hopes.
Daniel: I admit realities mess my mind too , I don't know what we will need to do to finish this puzzle . this universe don't even have the Asgard as we saw them back on earth , no offence Loki.
Loki: none taken.
Atlantis : the thing is , all my sensors see nothing , and detect nothing on the surface or under the surface of this planet.
Daniel : Atlantis , can you send me to the surface? That is considering the atmosphere there can let me survive.
Atlantis : temperature is 40 degrees Celsius .at the moment in some part , and the atmosphere is favorable surprisingly considering most of the planet is a desert , oxygen is a weird supply .
Weir : that is one part of the weirdness is done . any other things we should know about ?
Atlantis : my probes are detecting some old ruins , millions of years old , almost not visible , in a part of the planet .
Daniel : good , let us start there .
Atlantis : um , guys I have some news before we do anything.
Weir : * look puzzled"
Atlantis : merlin is awake.
/ the scene fade as the shock look at the faces of them . as the camera show us the cabinet of merlin open and his hand move.
