Chapter 811

Fishing

Previously:

They watched in the Command Center as Cameron conducted her operation and cleaned up the target site. They were able to capture more HK equipment. The method that they used to transport the captured equipment was a little different than normal for them.

Currently:

John Henry was a little surprised when John entered the Command Center. He'd expected him to sleep in a little longer. He knew it was best not to comment on such things. It appeared John wanted to ask a question anyway.

John wanted to know where everything ended up at from the last raid.

"Fill me in on everything that's happened since I left early this morning." John said.

John Henry thought it was all pretty straightforward and really no different than normal for similar circumstances.

"The boxcars are unloaded, the locomotives and two boxcars have been returned to the rail yard." John Henry said.

John was glad that no equipment was damaged. He wondered about the rest of the rail cars.

"What about the tank cars?" John asked. "That's quite a bit of fuel."

John Henry was aware of places where 'problems' were known to take care of themselves.

"They were rerouted to go into Mexico. Once they're across the border the local inhabitants will loot all the diesel fuel and gasoline before they reach the first rail yard." John Henry said. "If any fuel actually makes it to the rail yard, the rest of it will disappear there."

John was aware that things happened a little differently in the 'third world'. It always amazed him how some third world countries didn't realize what they actually were. He just wanted their tracks covered. That was all that mattered.

"Were you able to make it all seem like it was legit?" John asked.

John Henry made sure that there was no type of trail, paper or electronic.

"Yes." John Henry said. "No one is the wiser."

John was still worried about their suspicions of a Skynet operative that worked for the railroad in a high level job. It seemed they'd been able to pull quite a bit of 'hanky panky' off already and hide their activities.

"Are you sure none of this was tracked?" John asked.

John Henry didn't see any of it as a problem. He was aware that CamNet would have reviewed everything that he did anyway.

"I'm as sure as we ever are." John Henry said. "We took in a lot of HK equipment yesterday. It's all being gone over at secure remote locations."

John knew Cameron liked to take a 'hands on' approach to deal with the captured equipment.

"Will Cameron check it all out personally again?" John asked.

With all of the captured equipment from two different locations, it was a big task to make sure everything was done properly.

"Yes." John Henry said. "I even considered going myself. They need a lot of help to process everything. Everyone is in on it right now."

John hadn't seen Savannah this morning. He wondered if Cameron still drug her around with her. He didn't want to ask it like that because he knew it upset the other Terminators.

"Is Savannah with Cameron?" John asked.

John Henry knew exactly where Savannah was at. He'd personally monitored her whereabouts. He wanted to make sure Cameron didn't push her too far needlessly. He was pleased that she hadn't.

"No, she's at the Young Residence." John Henry said.

John wondered who else was with her.

"Is Cammy with her?" John asked.

John Henry knew Cammy was given another assignment.

"No, Cammy went with Cameron and Ally." John Henry said.

John sat up in his chair. There were a multitude of thoughts that cascaded through his mind. He needed to adjust his pants as well.

"Maybe Savannah will need a ride back." John said. "I could check out the inspection Cameron is doing and then bring Savannah back."

John Henry was sure what John really thought about doing with Savannah. It was what Cameron said she wanted. He wasn't going to interfere. Savannah indicated she was ready for the 'adventure'.

John thought about it for a little while. Savannah was there to see Allison. He wasn't sure which one specifically but it would probably be both of them. He wouldn't mind spending a little time with either of them as well. Now he felt a little bit guilty because he'd thought about Young Allison again. That seemed to bother him a little more than normal because Cameron hadn't spent the night with him. That was when he normally thought about Young Allison in the morning.

"Maybe not, there may be others there Savannah wanted to see." John said.

John Henry was aware there was more than one individual Savannah would want to see at the Young residence. He wasn't really sure how everything would play out.

"I didn't want to mention that." John Henry said. "Savannah is very independent."

John Henry knew John would only ever be able to touch Savannah if she allowed it. There were already several times where it appeared Savannah actually had done that. Things just didn't work out as everyone anticipated they would. It all would eventually happen at some point.

Savannah opened her eyes. There was a beautiful smiling face that looked at her. The person sat next to her. It was the face of an angel. She felt her heartbeat a tad faster. It looked like 'Cameron'. It looked exactly like a younger and hotter version of Cameron.

"Hello, Allison." Savannah said.

The girls look into each other's eyes for a few moments.

"Hi, Savannah…." Young Allison said. "I didn't wake you, did I?"

Savannah looked over at the clock on Young Allison's dresser. She could see it was way past her normal wake up time.

"No." Savannah said. "I'm usually up by now. I'm sorry I didn't get up earlier."

Young Allison personally made sure that every alarm was turned off. She wanted Savannah to get some rest. She almost told herself it would be 'beauty sleep'. That wasn't the case at all. Savannah was always beautiful. It didn't matter how she looked.

"You were tired." Young Allison said. "You experienced a very long day."

Savannah was aware Young Allison held her hand.

"How long have you been here?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison came to sit with Savannah as soon as she got dressed and put a little makeup on. She wanted to make sure she looked nice for Savannah.

"It's only been about half of an hour." Young Allison said. "You looked so peaceful. Your face is so pretty, even when you're asleep."

Savannah never thought she looked pretty when she first woke up in the morning. She was a little self conscious about that. She wanted to rectify that situation. She wanted to look nice for Young Allison.

"Thanks, so are you." Savannah said. "I'll clean up and fix myself up a little."

Young Allison was always enticed by Savannah's raw natural beauty. She was aware that was the 'real Savannah'.

"I like you without makeup. You're very beautiful without it." Young Allison said. "If we go swimming, you won't need any anyway."

Savannah didn't know what her schedule was going to be. It would depend upon what Cameron was up to next.

"Let me talk to Cameron and find out what's happening first." Savannah said.

Young Allison didn't think that was going to be an issue this morning.

"Cameron left with Cammy and Ally earlier." Young Allison said. "She specifically told me not to disturb you. She was very adamant about it."

Savannah sat up. She was instantly alert and instantly alarmed.

"Is everything OK?" Savannah asked. "I need to check."

Savannah checked her phone. There was nothing of relevance.

Young Allison noted Savannah's reaction. It bothered her some. She also was aware she would act the same way at times. She didn't want to address the issue either. She was afraid it would put Savannah on the 'defensive'. That wasn't where she wanted Savannah to be. There were actually a few other issues that she would need to deal with first.

"You also need to eat a balanced meal." Young Allison said. "Cammy and Cameron both made me promise to make sure you did."

Savannah knew what other things Cameron made Young Allison promise. They were the same promises she'd made to Cameron. She knew Young Allison was as committed to following them as she was. She wanted to check in with everybody first since she was a guest in someone else's home.

"Let me check with your mother, first." Savannah said. "Then we can make plans."

Young Allison's gaze remained fixed on Savannah's eyes.

"She's out." Young Allison said.

Savannah listened. The house was quiet.

"Who's here?" Savannah asked.

She gathered her clothes. She only wore a long shirt. She was sure it pulled up on her some while she was asleep. She was aware it should be longer…. There really was nothing to see.

Savannah noticed there was a fresh set of Anna's clothes neatly folded for her.

The next voice surprised Savannah. It sounded like Young Jesse but it wasn't.

"It's just me, love." Sheila said. "I have breakfast ready for both of you."

Sheila noticed too that the shirt was a little short. She actually noticed a lot more when she checked on Savannah during the early hours of the morning and covered her with a sheet. Those were files she would replay often.

"I asked Cameron if Sheila could stay." Young Allison said. "I want her to go swimming with us."

Savannah's face shot back to Young Allison's face. She knew this was because of the photos that Sheila sent out with her private parts and their attached jewelry. It was clear that Young Allison devised her own plan so she could see a little bit more and in person. Technically it would all happen in a legitimate setting as well at the pool.

Young Allison could see Savannah put it all together in an instant. She winked at Savannah….

Sheila took it all in and shrugged her shoulders as she smiled. She knew as well what Young Allison wanted to see. She also knew with Savannah there she was going to need to use some tact and not overdo it.

'If you got it, flaunt it', almost slipped out of Sheila's mouth.

She was pretty sure that would bring an instant chip extraction and deactivation once Cameron found out. She really didn't see what the big deal was. Every female was the same even if they were all different No. She figured it was a good thing that she didn't. She didn't want to get on the wrong side of CamNet. She was very aware that CamNet watched over the 'Chosen Ones'. Dealing with Cameron on personal issues was bad enough. Nobody wanted to get on the wrong side of CamNet.

Previously Cameron drove Ally and Cammy to the inspection location.

Cammy was clearly upset about leaving Sheila alone with Savannah and Young Allison.

"I don't think that was wise." Cammy said.

Cameron wondered how long the same discussion was going to go on.

"I want Savannah to handle it." Cameron said. "Besides, they're BOTH of your girlfriends. Don't you trust them?"

Ally was annoyed at hearing the same conversation over and over. It started when they'd left the Young residence and hadn't stopped since.

"How many times are you two going to discuss this?" Ally asked. "We're here to do a job, not keep having the same conversation. It's the exact same thing every time. Not even a single word is ever changed in the exchange. You both always say exactly the same thing. It's extremely irritating."

Cammy looked over at Ally, she was highly offended.

"It's only the sixth time I mentioned it." Cammy said.

Ally believed Cammy's statement needed a little clarification.

"You mean the sixth time this HOUR." Ally said.

Cameron was highly irritated as well. She did however understand Cammy's concern.

"Help me with this and shut up." Cameron said.

Cammy continued with what she was doing.

"She's talking to you." Ally said.

Cammy quickly looked at Ally.

"She's talking to you." Cammy said.

Cameron slammed the part she was holding down.

"Enough…." Cameron said.

Cammy decided to play it cool. It was clear that Cameron was at the edge - again. She decided to change the subject. She figured her next question would probably cause as much trouble. She wanted to know a little bit more about what really happened at the last target site.

"What was the device used to neutralize the HK Tracks and HK drones at our last operation?" Cammy asked. "What really happened?"

Ally shook her head in disgust. They'd already been down the same road multiple times.

"She already told you twelve times." Ally said. "It was an experimental EMP."

Ally was afraid they were going to have this conversation over and over. She knew this conversation upset Cameron more than the other conversation.

Cammy knew it was more than just an EMP. It was something deadly to Terminators.

"It was something else." Cammy said. "Why did we need the longer shut down time?"

Cameron didn't want to have this conversation again.

"I'm still developing it." Cameron said. "When I get it perfected. I'll let you know."

Ally was highly agitated from hearing the same things a multitude of times.

"You should test it on her as well." Ally said. "Maybe she will shut up then, like you already told her."

Cammy was offended by what Ally just said about her.

"She was talking to you." Cammy said.

Ally quickly looked at Cammy.

"She was talking to you." Ally said.

Cameron threw down the part she'd picked up moments ago and walked away.

"What's her story?" Ally asked.

Cammy could think of a few things that would answer that question.

"She's a 'Bitch'." Cammy said.

Ally knew Cammy and Cameron were both almost identical.

"Who would know THAT better than you?" Ally asked.

Cammy looked at Ally and smiled.

"Nobody…." Cammy said.

Cameron went to another area to work. There was a job to do. The future weighed on her. She was about to change people's lives again. Did she really know what was 'best' for everyone? What if they wanted something different? Could the future really be changed or was a delay the best they could hope for?

Sometimes she questioned the whole thing. What was she doing? How much of this is what she wanted and how much of it was what Future John wanted? Future John currently shared everything he wanted now – in the future. Was it necessary to be that way now – in the present?

Cameron was sure she was about to glitch. This all weighed on her again. It seemed to do that more and more. Maybe she was too curt with Cammy and Ally. She didn't lie to them exactly. She just hadn't told them the whole truth. She'd written a poem once about Lies Of Omission. It was still a lie not to tell the whole truth, especially when that was done to actually hide something or cover it up.

She was a little surprised to realize someone else stood next to her now. She wasn't exactly sure when that happened.

"I've seen you like this before." Steve said. "They weren't the best of times."

Cameron knew right away what he specifically referred to. It was her stint into the future to rescue and remake Future Allison. That also included the horrible time that followed after when she was stuck in standby with the electrical wire tangled in her hair. She felt the need to apologize again and explain herself for her actions at that time.

"I'll never forget how you and Tom helped me and assisted me." Cameron said. "I want to apologize again for not treating you better then. I didn't know if I could trust you. You and Tom have both been very loyal. Thank you."

Steve wanted to see if she wanted to talk about it. This looked like a time where Savannah needed to be with Cameron to comfort and reassure her.

Savannah did that for any of them if there was ever an issue or problem. Savannah always fixed it so everyone was satisfied.

"Now I know there's something wrong…." Steve said.

Cameron felt guilty about creating or altering everyone's personal relationships.

"I don't know what to do." Cameron said. "I've picked everyone's partners for them. I MADE the choices for them. What if they wanted a different choice or direction?"

Cameron was very aware of the direction she'd directed Savannah and now Young Allison to follow and pursue.

Steve thought maybe he should point out what actually already happened.

"Weren't those choices already made in the future?" Steve asked. "Aren't you doing what Future John programmed you to do?"

Cameron looked as disgusted as she did confused and upset.

"I don't know anymore what I'm supposed to do." Cameron said. "I need to go back and change all this."

Steve wasn't really sure how that was going to help.

"Isn't that what you've done several times?" Steve asked.

Cameron really wasn't sure anymore. Maybe she never had been. Maybe she never would be.

"I really don't know." Cameron said. "I need to go. I'm sorry, Steve."

Cameron left the work area.

Steve wondered if he should contact Savannah. Maybe Savannah wanted to take care of some personal things. Maybe she just needed to rest. Maybe he shouldn't worry about it and mind his own business.

The rest of the Young family was at the mall. They'd been shopping for a few things for Claire and Summer. Everything seemed to have gone smoothly until now. It looked like there was going to be a problem.

"Is that your daughter or your younger sister?" The store clerk asked. "She's the same height as you. She looks almost exactly like you."

Anna smiled at Hanna.

"I'm her younger, more beautiful sister." Anna said.

Hanna stood up tall. She made her breast more prominent.

"She still has a ways to go yet to catch up to me." Hanna said as she looked at Anna's diminished bust line. "If she ever can…."

Anna looked insulted.

"You look so much alike." The store clerk said. "I'm sure she will fill out like you one day."

Allison didn't really care for the conversation even if she found it somewhat amusing

"I'm pretty sure they will look like twins one day." Allison said.

Alison didn't care for the way the store clerk looked at her and everyone else either.

"You never know, genetics works in many ways." The store clerk said. "Your friend is really pretty."

The store clerk indicated Holly.

Hanna and Anna looked at each other and walked away.

That left Allison alone to deal with the clerk. She wanted to make a few things clear to the clerk in the hope they would shut up.

"She's my GIRLFRIEND." Allison said. "She's my lover."

The clerk was a little worried that they'd hit a nerve. They didn't want to cause any trouble or raise an alarm with anyone.

"Easy. No problem. Everything is cool." The store clerk said. "She should be a model. Your sister should be too."

Allison thought they referred to Summer.

The clerk indicated Claire.

Allison went to correct the clerk. She caught herself at the last moment.

"That's my mot…." Allison started. "I'll tell her."

The clerk looked at Allison for a long moment.

"I thought you were going to say she was your mother for a second." The store clerk said. "She would have to have been real young."

Allison was done with the conversation. It irritated her as much as the clerk did.

"You never know. Some girls start earlier than others." Allison said as she walked away.

Holly looked at the clerk. She was agitated they paid so much attention to all of them. She was sure what they were thinking.

Allison rejoined Holly, she looked back once at the clerk.

Holly wanted to make her displeasure known.

"What's up with the clerk?" Holly asked. "They seem to have taken an extreme interest in our group. I will terminate them tonight. They look like a threat."

Holly was unsure if she wanted to terminate him because he looked at Allison or her, maybe it was both.

Allison already believed there was more going on with the clerk than they knew. She was highly suspicious and she wanted some answers.

"Are you able to detect any of the toxins from the future in someone?" Allison asked. "At least to tell if they're from the future anyway."

Holly took that as the green light to terminate the clerk. She was very pleased with that decision on Allison's part.

"Some were contaminated more than others." Holly said. "When I terminate them tonight, I'll let you know."

Allison thought a little clandestine activity would be required first. She was sure there was something up and she didn't like what her gut told her.

"Maybe hold off on the termination for a while." Allison said. "Contact John Henry and have him scrub all the video footage from the places we went today and all the traffic cams we passed. Tell the Detail to acquire new transportation for us as well as themselves. Have him block the clerk's phone and trace its previous calls."

Holly became alarmed.

"Do you expect an attack of some type?" Holly asked.

Holly was now alert and ready for combat.

"I don't know." Allison said. "My instinct tells me there's more going on here than we know yet."

Holly looked around for an attack as she made the arrangements.

Allison saw Hanna and Anna take Claire and Summer away.

Holly thought they should immediately vacate the area. Allison was concerned there was some type of a threat. They needed to leave as well.

"We need to go." Holly said.

Allison wanted to remain a little longer. If there was any risk to take, she was going to take it herself.

"I want my mom and Summer away first." Allison said.

Holly was a little confused as to why they wouldn't leave immediately.

"What are we doing?" Holly asked.

Allison wanted this scenario to play out a little longer. She wanted them to be the ones in control of it, not someone else.

"We're fishing." Allison said. "The bait is out."

Holly was a little confused as to Allison's terminology.

"Where?" Holly asked as she looked around.

Allison looked at Holly and smiled.

"I'm right here." Allison said. "I'm the bait."

Holly looked at Allison and tilted her head slightly.

You Don't Know What You're About To Do

As our love grows
We're supposed to share
About each other
Is who we need care

When the going gets rough
You now have cold feet
It is I who have had
To take all the heat

What about me
I'm still here
Why turn to others
Can you not hear

So now it's coming
You've made it quite clear
I'm not good enough
You've become so cavalier

You don't know
What you're about to do
What's worse is you don't care
What you're about to do

Nobody
