Asuka landed on her feet as she smiled looking at Yumi the excited look on her face, slowly the brunette lowered her hands holding her blades to the side she could feel it just as much as Yumi could feel it the warm up period was over, the real training session started here Yumi watched carefully unsure what the brunette had planned.

"Secret ninja art: Dual slash" Asuka called as she charged forward at full speed her blades crossed across her body as Yumi watched waiting for her moment to come, leaning down she concentrated hard as a large pillar of ice formed in front of her Asuka uncrossed her blades cutting an X into the ice as it fell to the ground she saw the smirking face of Yumi in front of her.

"Secret ninja art: Black ice" Yumi called out as she held her fan up in the air miniature icicles began to form as the brunette jumped back the grey haired girl brought her fan down as the icicles shot towards her, using her speed Asuka smirked as she jumped up using the icicle's as steps climbing higher into the air.

The watching girl's looked taken aback by this strange method of countering their leaders attack, Yumi followed the girl's path as she smiled she had always knew Asuka was interesting coming up with ideas and plans to throw off her opponents but now she was up there what would be her next move leaving herself open like this.

Yumi looked a little closer as she saw the girl dropping toward her a smirk on her face, she observed her crossing her arms over her chest her speed picking up as Yumi's eyes widened in shock as she brought her fans up to protect herself with a makeshift ice shield. Asuka smiled as she uncrossed her arms slashing her opponent as she landed, Yumi's ice shield shattered as the sleeves of her kimono slid down her arms covering her hands as she closed her fans she let the torn fabric fall to the floor as she looked at the brunette in front of her.

"I'm glad that worked" Asuka said chuckling "I've never used it before so I wasn't even sure I'd be able to use my ninja arts in the air like that". Kagura watched on smirking a little, she had felt something was different about this girl taking a slightly reckless approach seemed to be her way of doing things and it was proving to pay off.

"You never cease to amaze me" Yumi replied "Now that I have seen it however, it won't work again". Yumi charged forward as Asuka smiled as she charged in ready to take whatever her friend and opponent had, this was the fight she needed she could feel herself getting stronger with every strike, just a little more of a push and she would be able to reach the ascension she was striving for.

The two women continued to clash neither seemingly ready to give in, Kagura watched curious how this would end neither girl was going to give in easily but she could tell from a simple look this could only end one way.

"Secret ninja art: Ice pillar fan" Yumi called as she stretched her arms out spinning on the spot as a whirlwind of icicles formed around her, unable to move the brunette got caught up as slits appeared in her clothing forcing herself back she saw her red scarf had been torn to pieces, her stripped bra was visible through a long slit of her yellow jumper on the left as she watched.

"Secret ninja art: Hanzō-Style Full Bloom" Asuka cried out as her dual swords were coated in a green glow she charged forwards slicing through the ice whirlwind as Yumi fell backwards, turning at the last second Asuka slammed her swords into the ground as large rocks shot up catching the other girl in the back as she was thrown forward the air leaving her body. Yumi stumbled forwards as she gulped down air still on her feet as she turned to face Asuka, she saw the grin on the girl's face as she stumbled slightly a hole had been torn into her kimono showing a red mark in the middle of her back.

"If this is your best then I'll end it now" Asuka said as she held her swords in front of her "Stop playing me Yumi, show me what you really got". The Gessen girl's looked puzzled at this comment unsure what the girl from Hanzō had meant, Naraku and Kagura looked to Asuka impressed the girl had realised Yumi smiled as she forced herself to stand up straight.

"If that's what you want then I shall grant your request, we are friends after all" Yumi said as she noted the determined look in the face of her friend "Ultimate secret ninja art: Ice queen". Everyone watched as they shivered feeling a sudden drop in temperature their breath beginning to freeze up as a whirlwind of ice formed a cocoon around Yumi's body, Asuka prepared herself for whatever was to come as the cocoon broke she stared on in shock with a hint of fear at the new look of her friend in front of her.

Yumi stared at the woman in front of her, the hair tie she had been using was removed letting her now light blue hair flow free her eyes had lost their innocent light blue to be replaced by red. Gone where her fans as she held a large sword made of ice, everyone looked on as they felt the power radiating off the woman in front of them Kagura looked to the new Yumi, the ice queen of Gessen had reached her ascension faster than she had predicted she could only imagine the training this woman had done to achieve such a feat.

"Shall we continue?" Yumi asked her voice a little harsher than Asuka had ever heard her before, she nodded as Yumi smiled a sinister smile closing the distance in seconds the brunette didn't have time to dodge or block as her opponent swiped with her sword causing the remains of her yellow jumper to be cut in half as the girl flew back a cry of pain.

Asuka's eyes darted around unable to keep up with the speed of the newly ascended Yumi, the girl smiled again as she once again closed the distance driving the brunette into the floor as she landed feeling the air leave her, the other members of Gessen watched on in shock at the sudden change in their leader Shiki's eyes widened as she made to run out she felt Naraku's hand grip her shoulder stopping her.

"Don't worry" Naraku said as she watched on, her eyes travelled to Kagura almost like she was waiting for a signal of some kind to step in as the onslaught continued as Asuka was tossed about.

"That's enough" Kagura called out "Winner is Yumi". Kagura watched on as Yumi looked towards her with a sadistic smirk as she walked toward the fallen Asuka, raising her sword high in the air she was prepared to end this her way for her this was no longer a training match it was a fight to the death.

"Seems you haven't trained enough" Kagura said with a sigh "Naraku!" The green haired girl nodded as she charged forward her outfit changed as she summoned her leg flails, Ice queen Yumi turned as the green haired girl jumped up landing on the two metal balls before pushing down slamming them into the girl below her.

Ice queen Yumi jumped back as the flails hit the ground making sure to miss the brunette, she smirked as she rushed forward in an attempt to fight the new comer Naraku looked on as she heard the slow counting of her charge behind her as she reached zero Yumi stopped as she slowly fell to the ground, her school uniform returned as her hair returned to grey Naraku dispelled the barrier as her and the girls from Gessen carried the two fallen warriors to the sleeping bags at the camp.

"Power like that comes at a price" Kagura said to herself as she looked up to the now darkened sky "A bit more training and she'll be able to control it but for now she will only go berserk, it was lucky we came when we did or she would have killed her friends and that's something you just never recover from".

I think Kagura said it best "power like that comes at a price" but the match is over and it is deemed Yumi is our winner but I wonder if she truly feels like a winner? Also Asuka's way of doing things, after the anime and games I've always felt like she could adapt to any situation so I felt I might as well show case that here but there we have it the ice queen of Gessen has made her presence felt. *thinks* I wonder...Rematch?
