Sonja walked into the NCIS office and was greeted by arms being thrown around her. Gregorio and Sebastian couldn't believe she was back! Their family was coming back together again and now they just wanted to hold on tight.

"Y'all realize I can't actually start back to work until ya let me go?" Sonja squeezed out as they released her.

"We're just so happy you're back," Sebastian said.

"I'm happy to be back."

"I can't believe Director Vance let you come back," Sebastian said.

"He said I showed real promise as an agent and he had been sad to see me go. Isler told him great things, I guess, about me when I decided to leave FBI so that I could get my job back here since I was staying in New Orleans."

"So Isler helped you out?" Gregorio said.

"Yeah I'm still pretty shocked myself," Sonja said, walking over to her old desk. She saw the toy figurines and looked at Sebastian. "You took my desk?"

"We had some moving around to do after you left," Sebastian said, starting to stutter.

"It's okay. I'm sure there's room for me somewhere," Sonja said, smiling.

"Ahem."

Everyone turned to see Pride standing on the stairs.

"Welcome back Sonja," he greeted.

"Thanks for having me back, Pride."

"Can I see you up here for a minute?"

"Sure."

Sonja went upstairs with Pride. They went to the conference room and he motioned for her to sit.

"What's up Pride?"

"We did some digging and Patton was able to find out who Kingman was supplying the stolen Navy guns too."

"Who?"

"4th Street Diablos."

"My old gang from ATF?"

"Yeah."

"I knew they were getting M9s and M16s before but after LaSalle helped me bust the other supplier, they moved from guns to drugs. When did they switch back to guns?"

"According to the records Patton was able to dig up, Kingman had helped supply three deliveries of guns to them over the past two months. Now that Kingman is dead, we need to figure out who else is running shipments to the Diablos."

"What do you need from me?" Sonja asked.

"Any idea if your old ATF identity is still good?"

"You want me to go undercover?"

"Its the easiest way into the gang. We could send you in, you can find out who the other supplier is and we bust the once and for all."

"I don't know Pride. It's been a few years since I was under with them."

"I wouldn't trust any other UC but you. You know the Diablos and what they're capable of."

"Some nasty stuff, let me tell ya."

"Which is why if we send you, they might not suspect anything. After you left the Diablos, you were running with Baitfish so there's a good chance your UC cover is still good."

"I guess so."

"If you don't want to do it, tell me. We can find another way in but it might take us a little longer."

Sonja stood and looked at Pride. "I can do this. When do you want to start?"

"We can start in the morning. You can take tonight to get reacquainted with your UC cover."

"Won't take me long, we can put me in today."

"Sonja, I want you to take the time to think. You have more than just you to worry about now. You have Caden and Christopher."

"I know that Pride, but its also my job to take down the bad guys. If I can get inside the 4th Street Diablos and figure out who is getting them the Navy weapons, then let me do it. I don't want the past to keep coming up to get us, I want to be able for all of us to look towards the future."

"At least call Christopher and talk to him first. Please," Pride persuaded.

"Fine if it will make you feel better."

"It will."

"Okay," Sonja said, fishing out her phone. Pride gave her the room for privacy.

"Hey Country Mouse," Sonja started.

"Hey City Mouse. Everything okay?" Chris asked.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that? How is Caden? Everything going okay?"

"Everything is fine. Mama is having a ball with him, feeding him and snuggling him. She's got him out back right now, rocking and reading before his nap. I almost have to wonder if we're gonna have to check her bag before she leaves to make sure she don't sneak him home," Chris said with a laugh. He noticed though that Sonja didn't laugh. "What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?" Sonja asked.

"Well you didn't laugh at my joke and I bet you're biting your lip again."

Sonja made a face as she sighed into the phone. "I hate that you know my tells."

"That's because I know you City Mouse. What's up?"

"Pride found out that Kingman was selling the guns he stole from the Navy to the 4th Street Diablos."

"Isn't that the gang you were working when we met?"

"Yeah and because I disappeared with Baitfish after the bust, my UC cover is still in tact with them. Pride wants to send me back in."

Chris went silent as he thought about what Sonja had said. She hadn't done much UC work since coming aboard to NCIS but things were different between them now. They had a family together now.

"What do you want to do?" he finally asked.

"I want to go back in. We need to figure out who Kingman was working with and if I can get then information, why not use me?"

"I get that but this could be dangerous."

"I know."

"So just make sure you come home to us okay?" Chris said, relenting before the fight even started. He knew better than to argue with her about the "dangerous job" assignments ever since the tug boat and the Russo case.

"I will."

"Good. I love you City Mouse."

"Love you too Country Mouse."
