"How did he survive?!"
Galeem, the Lord of Light, was pleased to know his view of how the world should be was now a reality. What he wasn't pleased with was that one of the old inhabitants of the older universe was still alive.
"I have to eliminate him NOW..." Galeem began, attempting to create energy in order to obliterate Bandana Dee...but falter.
"I...can't..." Galeem began. "I've used too much power to wipe out all those worlds...I'm weakened..."
It was enraging to Galeem. To see a such a freak on his perfected world...it made him sick.
Until he came with an idea. To deal with this little stain...he must fight with his own.
It was a dark room. One that made it hard to see anything at all. One that seemingly held nothing but a dark void...
Then a light came. It dimly lit the area, and one could see someone, tied up in blue binds.
It was Bomberman. Out cold, unaware of what was happening. As this occurred, a few more dim lights appeared.
It was those at the cliffside when Galeem's slaughter begun. Not only them, but a few...erm...'lucky' captured folk.
"This will do. These will help eradicate that whelp, and bring order at long last..." Galeem's voice rung out. None of the people captured awakened to it, put into deep sleep.
He would perfer them not yelling or begging anyways.
With a wave of his wings, a golden liquid poured down onto the various captured victims. It covered them from head to toe, before seeping off their bodies and going underneath the stone plate they were standing on.
And once it did that, an unexpected occurance appeared, an exact replica of their bodies was created. Falling from the platform, the clones hit the ground, still as a toy falling from a shelf.
Galeem then pulled out something else; a Spirit. A spirit of one of the many slain by his attack on the universe. It floated down, confused as to where it was, and what was occurring...
Then it suddenly was being pulled into one of the many clone bodies. It couldn't do anything before it completely was trapped inside...
Then the body's eyes opened. It slowly stood up, looking about it's surroundings.. as did all the other spirit possessed bodies.
Galeem proceeded to then warp all of the ones so far to his new world, as he let out a small chuckle.
"Soon, that flawed being will fall and perfection and order will rise..."
Wandering the cliff for almost a half hour, Bandana Dee sighed in exhaustion. It was like he was truly alone in yhis new world...
"I...I can't be the only one here, right...?" Dee questioned. "There was has to be someone else who escaped!"
Running down the cliffside, Dee kept moving as fast he could. There was hope he clung to that he wasn't the only survivor...
Then he spotted someone. It...looked like Bomberman! Now excited to see someone who he knew was with them earlier, Dee rushed forward.
"WHITE BOMBER! WHITE BOMBER! I'm so glad you're..." Dee trailed off when he noticed the very odd colors of White Bomber.
He was more...green and yellow, and had a slightly menancing aura to his attitude. Turning about, the Bomber opened his eyes and gazed at the Waddle Dee.
Then suddenly launched an plasma bolt at the spear-wielding hero, which he narrowly dodged.
"...Hm. Impressive. I was told someone had been here, attempting to bring trouble for Starry Sky Solar System, but I wouldn't think it would be someone like you."
"W-What are you talking about? White, it's me, Bandana Dee!" White walked forward, clenching a fist.
"I am Plasma Bomber." The robot spoke. "And I will not go down to you."
Spawning a bomb onto his hand, Plasma Bomber threw it forth, Bandana Dee leaping away from the attack. Panicking Dee tried to scale up the mountain again.
"W-What's gotten into him?!" Dee yelled, as Plasma Bomber kept pace and fired another Plasma Bolt, knocking the spear wielder down.
Being staggered by the plasma blow, the waddle dee turned to look at his foe. What was going on with White? He had different colors and was acting strange...was he possessed?
Seeing another bomb going his way, Bandana Dee used his spear to deflect the attack away.
"I don't know what's gotten into you, White, but I'm gonna defend myself!"
Leaping up, Bandana Dee lifted his spear overhead and plummeted down, which the bomber avoided, sidestepping before kicking the faceplanting hero.
Lifting him up, the Bomber slammed his hand into Bandana Dee, sending him up sky high. The poor little guy barwly managed to squeeze open his eyes before he saw a much bigger bomb be thrown his way.
With some quick thinking, Dee quickly smacked it back down, the robot surprised at this act before being caight in his own explosive blast.
Now able to keep focus in the air, the Waddle Dee plummet down purposefully. Bringing his spear down, it seemed he was set to take it...if another plasma blast didn't hit him middrop.
Hitting the ground with a groan, Plasma Bomber stepped on his chest. "You did fight well, I'll admit."
He then prepared another bomb. "But this fight will end NOW."
Bandana Dee went wide-eyed, trying to reach for his spear which got seperated from him. It were times like these he wished he had those weird stubs Adeliene had, it would make this so much easier...
Just before the bomb reached full size, Bandana Dee just barely managed to snag his spear and swung...
SLINK!Dee felt the foot on him lighten up a bit. Curious as to why, he slowly opened his eyes.
He was greeted by the sight of his foe having a surprised expression. The fuse of the bomb had been cut, ensuring it wouldn't explode.
Bandana Dee got up, confused as to why he seemed still...until the head fell of the robotic body.
He sliced White's head off.
"Oh no...no no no, I didn't mean to do that...!" Bandana Dee spoke in horror. He began to run in circles, muttering "What do I do, what do I do, what do I do..."
It was happening long enough that he failed to notice that glow coming out of the decapitated body. The glow was a Spirit, one that was put inside the cloned body.
"Where...Where am I?" The Spirit questioned, as Bandana Dee turned around when hearing the voice. "Wha-- are you the one possessing White?!"
"...White? As in White Bomber?" The Spirit qiestioned, before turning to face the body. At first he was shocked, before noticing something off.
"This isn't White." The Spirit said with a tone that showed he was certain. Confused, Bandana Dee looked on. "But...weren't you possessing him?"
"I don't recall that...' The Spirit responded. "What I recall was a giant wave of light coming forth to where I was. When it made contact with me, I felt like I was burning up. And then it all went black...the next time I knew, I was back in the Starry Sky Solar System, having been told of a monster attacking and disrupting peace."
"Giant wave of light..." Bandana Dee muttered, before he realized what the wave must have been. "...GALEEM!"
That got the spirit's attention. "Galeem? I do recall White mentioning that name before he left...are you with the group he spoke of?"
"I guess...he was there to help, but Galeem was able to wipe everyone of us out." Those words shocked the Spirit. White fell in battle? If so, this foe must be immensely powerful...
With the idea of how dire things were, he then finally said another word.
"Let me help you fight this enemy." Bandana Dee was caught offguard by the determined voice. "What--"
"White told me this foe could wipe out the universe. You will require more help."
Bandana sweated a little. "Um...there's a little issue though. I think Galeem did something to you..."
"What? What did he do?" The Spirit questioned, as Dee took a deep breath. "Were you always a whispy orb of sorts?"
"Whispy..?" The Spirit looked down at their hands, and noticed that it looked a little transparent. As a test, he placed his hand onto Bandana Dee...
It went right through his body.
"I've been reduced to a spectral form...?" The Spirit question in shock. "But how? I'm a robotic lifeform, if I were destroyed I'd be nothing but scrap!"
"Dunno, but I'm sure it was Galeem doing something..." Dee explained. "But uh...I guess you can come along, if it could help you."
"Thank you. My name is--" The Spirit was cut off.
"Plasma Bomber, right? I heard you say it." Bandana Dee said, making the Spirit paised before nodding. "Yes, that is it."
With some newfound strength, Dee ran down with the cliff with the spirit of Plasma Bomber at his side. "Do you have a plan?" Plasma Bomber asked.
"Not much. Just gotta find if anyone else got away aside from me, then we decide how to handle this next." Bandana Dee replied.
Midway down, a Mimikyu was seen gathering up some berries. It notably had a brighter yellow on its cloth, and was having more of an upbeat attitude.
Noticing one of the berries were tumbling away, it went after it in hopes of keeping the food. But due to the food being unguarded...
Splat!
Bandana Dee stepped onto the scrumptious berries, reducing them to splattered juice. Looking down, Dee shook some juice off his foot, all the while not noticing the Mimikyu witnessing the mess.
It wasn't happy. At all.
Thw second Dee felt someone bumping into his foot, he looked down to see the Mimikyu desperately nudging to attack, in a sense.
"Whoops! Sorry little guy, I didn't mean to do that." Dee admitted bashfully. The Mimikyu just glared, before suddeny beginning to charge with electricity. And before Dee could do much, he was zapped!
Staggered a bit, Dee shook it off. He jumped over it, and got his spear ready. "'Looks like I'm gonna have to fight again."
As he went to take a swing, the small pokemon charged forth, unleashing a flurry of electricity. Bandana Dee roled to the side, then leaped to try to deal impaling damage.
His attempt failed, as the pokemon leaped over his spear with Quick Attack. It then performed Skull Bash to send him back.
Landing with a thud, the spear-wielding hero groaned a bit, trying to rise to his feet from the hard blow. With him wide open, the pokemon began to charge up a lightning bolt.
"Bandana Dee, look out!" Plasma Bomber's Spirit flew forth, attempting to try and shield the small hero from whatever was gonna strike.
"W-Wait, no!" Bandana Dee called out, reaching to save the spirit in front of him. But what happened next was not what he expected.
Upon touching the Spirit, it suddenly entered him! He felt a surge of power go through him...and he felt invigorated.
With a surge of newfound power, he stood up and charged forth. He plowed through the thunder bolt the Pokemon unleashed.
Before the pokemon knew it, it was struck by the blunt side of the spear, smashing into the side of the cliff. When it looked up, it sas a stubby fist coming forth...
And when it struck, the mountain was promptly given numerous cracks from the sheer power of the blow. Bandana Dee stepped back from the body of the pokemon, which slumped over in defeat.
When Plasma Bomber's Spirit came out out of Dee's body, they both said the same thing at the same time.
"What just happened?"
"D-Did you just enter my body?" Bandana Dee questioned, still shocked by the turn of events.
"I believe I did..." Plasma Bomber muttered. "And I felt like I was empowering you in someway."
"Yeah, I felt that too." Bandana Dee commented. "I even went through that lightning bolt like it was nothing!"
As they chatted, the pokemon began to glow heavily. This caught both of their attention. And while Plasma Bomber was more than ready to give aid, Bandana Dee already knew what was going on.
A colorful orb came out of the body, a spirit of a Pikachu, the mouse pokemon. It tilted it's head, before looking at the two.
"It's...like me...?" Plasma Bomber commented, as Dee gave a nod before cautiously approaching. "Um...hey there little guy..."
The pokemon perked up. "Pika?" It moved forward in it's spiritual form. At first it seemed a little unsure of these two, but as it came closer...it began to sense the peaceful air Bandana Dee gave.
It almost immediately warmed up to him, beginning to move around him. "Pikachu!".
"Well...this went well." Bandana Dee commented. He then turned to Plasma Bomber. "Should we stick with the whole 'empower me by entering me" thing? It could come in handy."
"A sound strategy. I'll try to explain to this...whatever it is." As the spirit of a robotic hero went the spirit of a lovable pokemon, the waddle dee noticed a shadow down the path. Curious, he went to investigate.
What he saw was a orange fish of sorts. It seemed confused, looking around and about, as if in search for something...or someone.
"Hey! Are you alright?" Dee questioned. But the second the fish turned to look at him, her eyes shrunk.
From Dee's point of view, it was a confused and scared fish. But the fish's point of view was altered by Galeem's influence. Thus instead of Bandana Dee, she saw somethinf that truly scared her.
"Ahhh! Boerun!" The next thing Bandana Dee knew, he saw her seemingly swim on air to get away.
"H-Hey, wait" Bandana Dee called, but it was too late, the fish has taken off. The yelling got the attention of the two spirits, who went over to check on it.
"Bandana Dee, what happened?" Plasma Bomber asked. "There was some kid here, but they ran off when I tried to talk to them!"
"If they get near hostile lifeforms, they'll likely will be taken down relatively quick..." Plasma Bomber muttered. "'We better follow her to prevent that from ensuing."
With nothing more than a nod, the spear wielder ran down the cliff, coming over so closer to the fish. But everytime he got close it seemed she had a sudden burst lf speed. This made it difficult for Dee to close the gap.
"Wait up! I'm not the bad guy here--" Admist his explination, he tripped and fell off the cliffside. He slowly rose up, groaning from the fall.
But the moment his senses were back, the fish had finally made it to the bottom. Seeing an opportunity, Bandana did a tackle.
"Whaaaa! Let me go!" The fish cried, but Dee didn't. "Listen! I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise it!"
"But you're Boerun! You caused trouble in the sea!" The fish stated. "...Boerun? My name's Bandana Dee."
"B-But..." The fish studdered. "Listen, if I were going to hurt you I would've already done it. I'm worried you might get hurt out here!"
The fish began to look confused...as her vision began to glitch out. At first she saw Boerun, before it fizzled out, showing the reality of it being Bandana Dee.
"You...really aren't him..." The fish said. The combined shock, and exhaustion from rushing down a cliff, made her collapse.
The body began to glow, before the spirit rose out. The fish rubbed her head. "I had a weird dream, dad. I got chased by Boerun but he wasn't actually Boerun!"
She opened her eyes. Seeing Bandana Dee, she went silent. "...It wasn't a dream." Bandana Dee awkwardly said. Plasma Bomber exited Dee's body, nodding to show he would explain things.
As the robot went to talk to the fish, Bandana Dee began to have a simple thought. One that lingered in for a bit but kept being delayed.
"Are the rest of the group like this? ...Are all my friends like this?"
